Mitchie was busy getting on her outfit. She sighed heavily once she had put her shirt on. Today was the day, it had finally come...it was Repeating Day! That meant someone gets selected to join the games. It also had made Mitchie nervous. She just turned 14 and that the Hunger Games age range is that players have to be 12 to 18 or even in between. Mitchie is 14. There might be a chance for her joining the games and Mitchie didn't want that. She looked up when she heard the sound of the door opening realizing her Mom, Connie.
"You ready?",she asked without responding.
By not saying anything to her, Mitchie gave her a quick nod. Her way to respond was as she walked up towards her, she would be out of the room. Her mom began to close the door, once Mitchie had passed by and left her room. The two of them had headed outside to the car to drive off. While they were driving off, there was minutes of silence between the mother and daughter. Mitchie could already tell it was best to stay quiet, because as she looked over to her mom and saw that she was sweating nervously. Mitchie decided instead of talking to her mom about it she decided to then look out of window as they went passed a sign that says "Repeating Day" .
