A/N: I hope you enjoy the this new story. It is a bit different for me. I have taken a lot of feedback on board, and tried to apply it to become a better story teller. Sometimes, things move slowly, but soak in every word for later consumption. Sometimes, things will pick up and you may need to read something twice. This story is full of sub-plots, all important to the story. I own nothing but the plot and several original characters. Vince McMahon, Tony Khan and the Superstars own themselves. The only profit I make, is knowing you all like the story. This is M/M Slash, and boys can have babies. If this isn't your thing, don't read. If you enjoy it, or even if you don't, take a moment to leave a review. They let me know how I am doing. Some medical things have been adjusted for the purpose of the story, but I have done a lot of research. Remember, this is a work of fiction and in my world, people may or may not do things in real life that they do in the story. I truly hope you enjoy this one, I think, in all honesty, it is one of my best, and I am still in the process of writing it. This is a long one folks, so sit back, take it all in and get lost in the world of heartache, mystery, murder and survival as deep, dark secrets are revealed. Hang on to your hats and please enjoy, So Stupid. I appreciate all of you, and may you all have a wonderful and blessed day! All the best, Lady Dragonsblood.
Adam Joseph Copeland-Orton paced the floor of his living room, and chewed on his fingernails. He looked at the clock for the hundredth time in fifteen minutes.
"Randal Keith Orton, where in the hell are you, and were are my children?" Adam growled to himself as he stopped to look at his cell phone.
Adam Copeland-Orton was the twenty eight year old "mother" of quadruplets, Janice, Jade, James and Jordan. He stood six foot four inches and his frame was lean and muscular. His dirty blond colored hair fell just past his shoulders, when not up in a man bun.
Adam was a Registered Nurse and worked in the children's ward of Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City. He had been married to Randal Keith Orton for ten years. Last year, they had divorced. Both Adam and Randy were tired of the constant fights and arguments. Over the time of their marriage, they had fallen out of love and took it out on each other. Adam was the first to realize that their fights had started to affect the quads.
Adam finally said, enough was enough. He told Randy if he would give him the house and child support, he would sign the divorce papers. Randy had wanted a divorce sooner, but Adam wanted to try for the sake of the children. When James and Jordan began to fight, Adam knew it was time.
Randy agreed, as long as he could have liberal visitation with the quads. That was fine with Adam. Randal Orton was a great father and loved his children very much. Adam had no fears about letting Randy have them every other weekend.
Randy had always returned the kids by six o'clock Sunday night. It was now nearly ten pm, on Sunday night.
When the door bell rang, Adam flung the door open, his shoulders drooped. He motioned for the two men at the door to enter the house.
"Hey Shawn, Hunter. I thought it might have been Randy with the kids." Adam led the two men to the living room.
Shawn Michaels-Helmsley was Adam's attorney and father figure. He'd known Adam since was fifteen, when he'd hired Adam's mother to be his secretary. Judy Copeland passed away from cancer, when Adam was twenty, Shawn took over. He became the father Adam had never known.
Hunter Hearst Helmsley, was not only a Detective for the Kansas City Police, he was Shawn's husband. Together, they were the parents of fifteen year old Megan. He and Shawn had been married for almost twenty five years. They adored each other and loved Megan dearly.
"He still not answering the phone?" Hunter asked as he watched Adam pace the floor.
Adam shook his head "no". "I've called all the hospitals, but nothing. I hope that's good. What if they are in a ditch, crying for help?" Adam was in a near break down as he spoke.
Shawn got up from the couch and went to Adam, and hugged the blond. "Yes, that is very good. Hunt checked, no accidents have been reported. Maybe they went to the arcade and lost track of time. Or maybe they went to the movies. You can't have your cell phone on at the theater." He kept his voice soft and calm as he spoke.
Adam looked at Shawn with a new hope in his eyes. "You think? Yeah, that could be it; the movies. The boys wanted to see that new Marvel movie and the girls wanted to see that new princess one. Maybe Randy took them to both. Oh Shawn, my babies!" Adam's confidence was all too brief as his fear over took him again.
Before Shawn could speak, Adam's cell phone rang. "Hello!… Oh, sorry, Seth… no, not yet… no, I am alright, Shawn and Hunter came over… thanks Seth, but you stay home. In your condition, you don't need to be out late… I will… thanks, Seth and thank Roman too… yes, first thing… love you too, Sethie… goodnight." Adam ended the call with a sigh.
Shawn led Adam to the large, over sized couch. He sat the blond between himself and Hunter. "Seth is a fine young man. He feeling alright? He's what, three months along?" Shawn wanted Adam's mind on something else. A hysterical Adam was never a good thing.
Adam tried to relax a bit. "No, he's only two months. Yeah, he is a good friend, my best really. He wanted to come over, but he doesn't need the stress. It's bad enough he insists on working."
"Roman told me Seth agreed to stop working at six months. Say, what about that Doctor Ambrose? Roman's friend. I've heard he thinks you're really cute." Shawn gave Adam a little nudge with his elbow.
Hunter looked at Shawn. "Honey, now is not the time for that." He tried not to sound annoyed. He knew Shawn only meant well, but his timing wasn't always the best.
Shawn ducked his head sheepishly. "You're right, dear. Sorry, Adam. We just want to see you happy..." He stopped when his cell phone rang.
"Hello…. Nancy?…. Oh, she is… You tell madame I will be right there… it's fine, Nancy… I am not angry… Yes, I will see you in five." Shawn ended the call with a bit of a sad sigh.
"Needle angst again?" Hunter asked with a worried tone of voice and crinkled brow.
Shawn stood. "Yes. I will go give Meg her shot. I will be right back. Stay with Adam, he shouldn't be alone." He gave Hunter a kiss then turned to leave.
Megan Helmsley suffered from Juvenile Diabetes. She had to take insulin shots to control it. Megan also suffered from a very weak heart because of it. She was often a patient in Adam's ward at Saint Luke's. She was a strong young lady, but, sometimes she suffered severe needle angst. When that happened, only Shawn could give her a shot. Nancy Williams was not only the Helmsley's housekeeper. She was Megan's nurse, and home school teacher. She was a member of the family and Shawn, Hunter and Megan would be lost without her.
Hunter frowned. "Are you sure? You don't mind walking alone?" He worried about his husband. They lived just down Gladstone Boulevard from Adam, but it was dark and they lived on the edge of a dangerous area.
Shawn smiled. "I will be fine. I have my little friend with me. I'll be right back." He kissed Hunter again, then quickly left, Megan needed her daddy.
Hunter had walked his husband to the door. When Shawn left, he returned to the living room. His arms were suddenly filled with an upset Adam.
Hunter wrapped his arms around the lithe blond. "I know, baby, I know. They will be home soon, I'm sure." He pulled Adam in even closer.
Adam looked into Hunter's amber colored eyes with his hazel greens. Hunter returned the look, but with trouble in his eyes. He let out a sigh.
"Adam, we agreed, it has to end, before Shawn gets hurt. You know how I feel about you, but you also know I love Shawn. Just… why do you have to be so damn beautiful and so fucking desirable..." Hunter couldn't help it, he pulled Adam in for a tongue tangling kiss.
Adam moaned into the kiss and wrapped himself around his lover of two years. Their affair had started innocently enough. After a fight with Randy, Adam had gotten very drunk. Shawn took the quads, while Hunter took care of Adam. It led to a romp in the bedroom that turned into a passion filled love affair.
Over the last three months, Hunter and Adam had tried to stay away from each other sexually. Adam knew it was terribly wrong and he felt horribly guilty. Hunter felt the same. He truly loved Shawn and didn't want to hurt him, but Adam was… tempting and exciting. Hunter didn't feel forty seven when he was with Adam. He didn't stress and fret with worry about sweet Megan, when he was with Adam. Hunter didn't care about the overload of cases on his desk at the department when he was with Adam.
When he was with Hunter, Adam didn't stress about his quadruplets. Randy was distant memory when Hunter made love to him. Adam only felt truly safe in Hunter's arms. When he was with Hunter, there were no sick and dying children calling out for him.
What Adam did feel when he was with Hunter was guilt. Shawn was the father figure he'd never had. When Adam's mother, Judy, had told her husband that Adam was on the way, he left. Judy divorced him, and taken back her maiden name.
Adam had been born about an hour north of Toronto, in Orangeville, Ontario, Canada. Judy held down three jobs at one point. When Adam was twelve, she packed up and moved with Adam to Kansas City, Missouri. She had a few secretarial jobs, then when Adam was fifteen, Judy responded to an ad for an executive secretary in a small but prestigious law firm, Helmsley and Associates. Shawn hired Judy on the spot.
Shawn also took Judy's son under his wing. Shawn saw how well Adam related with Megan. When he asked Adam about his future plans, Adam said he wanted to be a nurse. Shawn asked him why not a doctor? Adam explained that nurses actually helped the patients more, and he wanted that.
When Adam graduated high school at the top of his class, Shawn was proud. He and Hunter agreed to pay for Adam to attend the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Nursing and Health Studies. It was there Adam met Randal Keith Orton.
Randy took classes in business, but also medical classes. He was going to start and build up a pharmaceutical supply company. Randy had an extremely golden touch with business and money investments.
Randy knew Adam wasn't after his money, because when they started dating, Randy was poor. They married. Judy gave Adam away and Shawn was the best man. Less than a year later, cancer took Judy to a Heavenly home. Shawn was there for Adam. Hunter approved.
Randy and Adam wanted children, badly. They tried and tried. They suffered though a miscarriage when Adam was six weeks pregnant. They finally went to a fertility doctor. He put Adam on medication, with careful monitoring. Two months later, Adam was pregnant, with quadruplets. He was put on immediate bed rest. Randy was fantastic and kept Adam from being bored and ignored.
On Memorial Day, eight months later, Adam went into premature labor. At first they feared natural childbirth wasn't possible. However, Adam's perineum opened, and the doctor said he could try. At eleven thirty that night, Janice Marie Orton was born. Ten minutes later, James Mason Orton popped out. Shortly after midnight, on June first, Jade Mary was born followed almost immediately by Jordan Michael. Janice and Jade were identical, while James and Jordan were fraternal.
The twin girls had Adam's blond hair and hazel eyes. The boys had Randy's dark brown hair and stormy blue eyes. They shared other features from their parents. The quads were small, but perfect. It had been Shawn who'd driven the young family to their home.
As the quads grew together, their parents grew apart. Randy and Adam were too much alike. Both had quick tempers and held grudges. It began to hurt the children. Shawn was called to handle the divorce
Adam and Hunter had their clandestine affair. Adam was sure Randy had someone else as well, but honestly didn't care. He and Randy were both happier.
Randy agreed to let Adam keep the house. It was a stone mansion, built in 1910. It had eight bedrooms, which mattered most. Each of the quads had their own room, a space where they could develop their own personalities. It was a beautiful home, in the historic Pendleton Heights area of north Kansas City, Missouri. The Helmsley's lived a few houses down, in a five bedroom stone mansion, that was also on the historic register.
Adam came back to his senses when Hunter broke the kiss. He pressed his forehead to Adam's, sadness in his eyes. Adam smiled softly. "I know, Shawn will be back soon. Hunter, where are my children?" He was back to being a very worried parent.
Hunter still held Adam, but now, it was as a concerned friend. "I wish I could tell you. I'll call the station again, maybe they have an accident reported. Go make some coffee, baby."
Adam nodded. He went to his lovely, spacious kitchen and put a pot of coffee on to brew. His housekeeper, Ida Brown was off. Ida lived in an apartment off the kitchen. She had the weekends off when Randy had the kids. Ida looked after her elderly mother at a nursing home on those weekends. Adam would be totally lost and helpless without Ida. He could barely boil water. Also, the quads loved Ida, and she was like a grandmother to them.
Hunter phoned his department. He prayed no accidents had been reported. It frustrated him, as a Detective for nearly twenty years and a beat cop before that, that he had to wait to be officially assigned to the case… if Adam reported it.
Adam returned with the coffee at the same time Shawn returned. Hunter was still on the phone when he let his husband back into the house. Shawn took the cup of coffee Adam poured for him and sat down on the couch. Adam sat next to Shawn with his own cup of coffee.
Hunter ended the call. "Megan alright?"
"Yes, dearest. But, I really do think it's time to seriously consider the insulin pump. Anything new?" Shawn looked at Hunter with anxious eyes.
Hunter poured a cup of coffee and sat down on the other side of Adam. "No, no accidents reported. Adam, do you want to make an official report? With children there is no twenty four hour waiting period."
Adam put down his cup and held his head in his hands. "Part of me wants to grab my gun and hunt him down. The other part of me knows Randy would never do anything to hurt the children or me, not like that. You know Randy is a great father. He's never been late before without calling. Something is wrong… I don't know what, but this just isn't right."
Shawn nodded. "My exact thought." He quietly sipped his coffee, his mind was troubled.
Hunter put his detective mind to work. "Adam, does Randy have any enemies? You know how fast Orton Pharmaceutical took off. He is worth several million, you know. Someone may not like that." There was no sign of the sweet lover, Hunter, this was full on Detective Helmsley.
Adam rubbed his temples. "Not that I can think of. There was that Chris Jericho guy, that Randy beat out of some accounts. But, he wouldn't do anything illegal to get back at Randy. He'd lose even more business."
Hunter made a few notes in the little notebook he always carried in his pocket. "Jericho Drug and Supply, if I recall." His voice filled with deep thought.
Adam had taken a sip of coffee at Shawn's urging. He swallowed, then spoke. "Yes, that's it. As far as I know, Randy has never even met Jericho. Oh Shawn, Hunter, tell me what to do! My babies, my four sweet babies!" Adam finally broke down in wracking sobs. It was all Hunter could do not to grab his secret lover and comfort him. Instead, it was Shawn who held Adam close.
Hunter was angry, his baby was hurting and he was unable to help. He sipped his coffee and watched Adam break down.
Adam sniffed deeply and wiped his eyes with the sleeve of his shirt. "Sorry. I know this won't help anything. I just… don't want to make trouble for Randy, he is a great father. But, I want my babies home..." He was halted when Randy's cell phone song erupted on Adam's phone.
Adam nearly dropped his phone, he was in such a hurry to answer. He pushed "speaker". "Randy! Where are you, and the children?" Adam nearly shouted, not from anger, but from fear and panic.
"A… am… ke..." Randy's voice was garbled and the phone went dead.
"Randy? Randal?" Adam cried out, but the connection was gone. He looked at Shawn.
Shaw laid a hand on Adam's shoulder. "Try calling him back. Maybe it was a weak spot for the cell service." He tried to stay as calm as possible for the stressed out blond.
Adam nodded. He took a breath and hit 01 for Randy. The phone was still on speaker. The phone rang once, then answered. "The mobile number you have called is currently unavailable..." Adam disconnected the robotic female voice.
"Argh! Fucking cell service!" Adam slid the phone across the coffee table. It stopped short of crashing to the floor.
"He tried to call, Adam. I am sure he's just in a weak signal area. KC has some very bad call service drop spots." Hunter spoke with confidence or at least he hoped so.
"Yeah. Listen, I will be alright. You two should be at home with Megan. I really do think you should consider the insulin port. They are safe and accident proof. Poor Meg, she gets such bad needle angst at times." Adam tried to think of anything but Randy and the quads.
Hunter spoke. "Megan will be alright, Nancy is there. You don't need to be alone right now." He reached over and gently rubbed Adam's back, as a friend, not a lover.
Shawn smiled with a nod. "Hunts' right, Adam. We are not leaving you, not till we know what is going on. Are you hungry?"
Adam let out a wry chuckle. "No, I'm not hungry, but thanks. Thanks for being here..." He was interrupted when the Westminster chime of the grandfather clock in the distant, formal living room chimed eleven times.
"One hour. I will give Randy one more hour. After that, I will make an official missing persons report." Adam spoke in a firm voice. He didn't care if it made trouble for Randy or not.
Hunter nodded. "Good decision. The first forty eight hours are the most important. If the shoe were on the other foot, Randy would do the same. Nothing matters more than those babies being safe at home." He finished his coffee, then poured another cup. Adam had used the thermal carafe so the black liquid was still hot.
"Nothing matters more to me than my children, nothing in the world." Adam muttered into his hands.
Shawn patted Adam's back. "We know that, honey. The children know it too. You are the best daddy in the world. Those four little monkeys adore you. Both you and Randy have done a good job raising them. They aren't spoiled, they are respectful, well behaved and extremely smart. Most of all, they are loved and they are secure in that. You and Randy may not be married any more, but, you both put the children first. Sometimes you make me feel I could be a better dad to Meg." Shawn let out a sigh. He felt responsible for Megan's condition; diabetes ran in the Michaels family.
Hunter let out his own sigh. "Don't Shawnie. It isn't your fault, baby. You are the best daddy Megan could have asked for." He'd gotten up and gone to Shawn's side of the couch. Despite his love for Adam, he still loved Shawn deeply, and first.
Adam got up and went to the kitchen. The guilt about Shawn churned in his stomach. He and Hunter tried to stay away from each other, but it was hard. Adam craved physical contact, just being in Hunter's arms gave him strength. How could he just give that up? Adam sighed, he had to. Megan needed both her parents. Adam vowed his affair with Hunter was over… at least he vowed to try.
Hunter kissed his husband. "Baby, it is not your fault. I love you so damn much." He pulled Shawn in for a hug.
As Shawn clung to him, Hunter knew he couldn't be with Adam sexually again. The guilt was too much. He had to let Adam go and let him find someone who could love Adam openly. Hunter vowed his affair with Adam was over… at least he vowed to try.
"I love you, Hunt. You and Meg are my entire world. Thanks for reminding me, it isn't my fault, but... the family history is there." Shawn held tight to Hunter and absorbed his strength and love like a parched sponge in a rain storm.
Adam went back to the living room. Shawn poured himself another cup of coffee. Hunter wasn't there. Adam sat back down next to Shawn.
"Hunter go home?" Adam asked in a casual tone of voice He suddenly felt terribly alone.
Shawn chuckled a bit. "Bathroom. It's time for his protein shake to… sorry… you know what I mean."
Adam managed a grin. He knew all about Hunter and the affect of his protein shakes. It was why Adam kept so many deeply scented candles around.
"'No problem. I have air freshener. Oh Shawn, where are my children?" Adam was on the verge of another breakdown. Shawn didn't blame him.
Shawn put his hand on Adam's back. "It's alright, honey. They will be home soon. Adam, I know now isn't really the time, but Roman told me, his friend, Doctor Ambrose… really likes you. You need someone, Adam. You have so much to offer..." His voice faded when Adam looked at him with tear filled eyes.
Adam sniffed. "Shawn, I know you mean well, but no, now is not the time. I will say this, Doctor Dean is nice but… not now, Shawn. Please?" He knew Shawn meant well, but once again his timing wasn't the best.
"Sorry, honey. You know how I get when I'm worried. I run off at the mouth, about the wrong things at the wrong times. I just hate the thought of you being alone. Can you tell me more about the insulin pack?" Shawn simply had no idea what to say. He wanted to keep Adam from a crack up.
Adam smiled a bit. "It's alright, Shawn. I am glad you and Hunter are here. Well, the best part of the pump is, it can self adjust to the amount of insulin Meg needs at the time. It will even adjust the dosage according to what she eats. There is a lot less chance of insulin shock. In Meg's case, that is better for her heart issues. There are some risks, like a battery drain, running out of medicine, a kink in the tubing or cannula… um… the entry port, but they are very low risks. She would have to be careful with sports, which isn't an issue for Meg. She doesn't do contact sports, so no danger there. She can safely continue to ride her horse. You, Hunter and Nancy will have to take a class on filling and maintaining the pump, but it is just a couple of hours. I'll tell you, Shawn, if it was one of the quads, I would do it, no question. Doctor Ambrose would do the procedure. He his excellent and does it three or four times a month. I'd trust him to do it. It would be less stressful for all of you. Meg would just be in the ward for a week or so." Adam finished his explanation. He'd also been completely frank and honest.
"See, Shawn. I told you it would be better for Meggie. You know, maybe we should consider making Doctor Ambrose Meg's doctor. Doctor Wilson is getting on, and he's the one that's gotten you so torn about it. He is a good doctor, but… well… old fashioned." Hunter spoke as he returned. He'd heard most of what Adam had said.
Shawn nodded with a sigh. "Maybe you're right. Doctor Wilson is a bit long in the tooth. I was also worried Meg would have to give up riding. She would rather...well, not give up Champion. Sometimes I swear that horse talks to Meg. Oh, that reminds me, Adam. The riding master is starting junior classes on Saturdays in July. Oh, fuck my mouth." He stopped when Adam let out a whimper of fear.
Both Shawn and Hunter wrapped Adam in their arms and held the blond as Adam sobbed. Adam took comfort from his friends.
"I swear, I am the worst person in the world. You see now why Judge Lawler is always threatening me with contempt of court." Shawn spoke with another sigh.
Hunter guffawed. "It's also why you never lose a case. You're the best attorney in the court room. Come on, Adam. We need to make this official, it's nearly midnight. I can get the boys out searching in ten minutes." The law enforcement officer in Hunter took over.
Adam blew his nose with the tissue Hunter had brought from the bathroom. He sat up and gave a nod.
"I want you on the case, Hunter. No one else will care about my children like you do. Don't let Bret say you are too close. Hunter, go find my babies." Adam spoke as a strong parent, not a soft lover.
Hunter gave Adam a firm nod as the grandfather clock chimed midnight. "I'll go call from the kitchen. I may have to get nasty. It is the right thing to do, Adam. Randy will understand." He gave Adam a pat on the back with a sly caress, that said so much. He got up to go to the kitchen.
They all started when Adam's phone rang, it was Randy's song. Adam grabbed the cell phone and pushed speaker.
"Randy?" Adam asked with hope.
"Yeah, it's me. Look, we will be there in twenty. Kids are fine. I will explain. I gotta drive now." The call ended. Randy sounded…scared, but at the same time, calm.
Adam pushed to end the call. "He sounded… strange. But, thank God, they seem to be alright. Will you stay, stop me from killing him?" Adam's hands shook like he was in a major earthquake.
Hunter sat back down. "Of course we will stay. Those are our Godchildren. He has a lot of explaining to do." He was calm, but anger boiled under his tone. How dare Randy do this to his baby.
"I agree. Just… take a breath, go wash your face. You can't let the children see you like this." Shawn spoke softly with a caress to Adam's back.
Adam stood with a nod. "Yeah, wash my face. Thanks guys…. Just… thanks." He sounded more like a robot, as Adam went to wash up.
Hunter let out a growl. "That bastard has a lot to explain. I have a good notion to report him anyway." Now that he knew the quads were safe, Hunter's anger boiled even more.
Shawn didn't suspect anything, Hunter was himself. Shawn laid a hand on his husband's shoulder. "You always get angry after the fact. Try to calm down. Wait to hear what Randy has to say first. He is a good father, don't make trouble for him; yet. We don't want him taking it out on Adam." He spoke with reason.
Hunter sighed. "You're right, babe. I hate seeing Adam so upset over Randy, yet again. He's got enough on his plate, four seven year olds, a full time, stress filled job and no one special in his life to help. You know what I mean." Hunter spoke his true feelings, but added the last part for Shawn's sake. After all, Adam did have someone… himself.
Shawn nodded. "I agree, honey. I know I said it at the wrong time, but, I know Doctor Ambrose is very interested in Adam. Roman has told me more than once. You know he and Doctor Ambrose are best friends. They met at University back east. He would be good for Adam. Roman says the Doctor loves kids." He spoke with deep thought.
Hunter sighed internally, maybe Shawn was right. If he encouraged Adam to go out with Doctor Ambrose, it would solve their problem. As much as he hated the thought of another man with his Adam, Hunter knew it was for the best. He knew he'd have to talk to Adam about it, and soon.
"Maybe you and Roman can arrange a casual meeting for Adam and the Doctor..." Hunter stopped talking when he heard Adam on the way back to the living room.
Adam looked refreshed and not like he'd been scared to death and sobbing. "How much longer?" He asked as he sat down in an over stuffed library chair across from the Helmsley's.
Shawn pulled out his antique pocket watch. It had been an anniversary gift from Hunter. He opened the watch and looked at it. "Ten minutes or so." He closed the watch and put it back in his pocket.
"You know, he could have taken them to see Bob and Elaine. He has done that before. It's only a three and half hour drive." Hunter mused with a rub to his bearded chin.
Adam shrugged. "Maybe, but he usually tells me. I don't mind, Bob and Elaine are alright."
"Till they tried to convince Rand to sue you for full custody. I never saw Randy so angry. I always admired him for not listening to them. Randy told Elaine that the quads belonged with both their parents. Randy may be a bastard at times, but never about when comes to the children." Shawn spoke with a firm nod.
Adam sighed. "Just wish he would have cared about me… no… we weren't good together married We are better as friends and parents." He sighed again, he wanted his babies home.
"True. Maybe I should take him out on the golf course again, make sure he is alright." Hunter finished the last of the coffee, no one wanted any more.
Adam smiled at Hunter. "He'd like that, Hunter. He respects you a lot...Oh! My babies!" Adam flew out of the chair when the headlights from a car bounced on the wall.
Adam headed for the kitchen. Randy had pulled all the way into the four car garage. Something he didn't normally do.
Adam opened the door to the garage, his missing gems were finally home.
