Chapter 1

Ainz Ooal Gown, the infamous guild consisting of only heteromorphic races once drove fear into the hearts of every player in the world of the MMORPG Yggdrasil. In it's prime 41 members of Ainz Ooal Gown stood at the top of Yggdrasil. They have proven their power when even the great Union of Eight Guilds consisting of 1500 players and lots of npcs failed to conquer the Great Tomb of Nazarick which the guild Ainz Ooal Gown called it's home. However the once great guild like every other player guild in Yggdrasil had very few active members. People needed to tend to their real lives and responsibilities in the dystopian world of 2138.

Anzio joined the game. A tall slim human looking avatar appeared. He had dark black hair, one green and one red eye and pale skin. He was in a dark outfit with black and dark blue silky robes covering most of him. They were all God-level items which tried to increase his holy and unholy ressistances. The robes didn't touch the floor. The robes were split in half near his thighs and they reached down just below his knees. He had some dragon leather pants on him which made moving stealthy easy aswell as pretty comfortable. The scales unlike on most dragons were also pitch black and individual scales were hard to see. Only around his joints were the scales arranged in a different order as to protect thoose areas.

Anzio, the youngest member of the guild was still active. He was 16 years old, 17 in a few months. He was as many other players rescued by Touch Me when he was just a noob being bullied by human supremacist players. Touch Me brought him to the guild. Well Anzio actually followed him and begged him to join, he was just a kid then nearing his teens. The guild didn't have a rule which strictly forbade children from joining but they also weren't sure if kids were supposed to be considered „working members of society". In the end they tried to brush Anzio off telling him he should focus on school and stuff like that but Anzio then presented them with his report cards. He was a straight As student. Some would even consider him a genius or a wonderchild. Figuring the kid was intelligent they took him under their wing. He managed to win Yamaiko and Bukubukuchagama over pretty easily. Punitto Moe and Takemikazuchi also quickly found themselves enjoying his company as they even helped him study for some millitary history tests in the library of Asurbanipal.

With the help of such experienced players and strategists Anzio managed to create a pretty powerfull character. Nephalem was a pretty rare race to choose since most people thought they weren't very good due to them being vulnerable to both holy and unholy attacks. In the end Anzio managed to create an incredible build with the help of his guildmates. He was inspired by all of them and wanted to do what all of them did but since you couldn't build such a character he mostly focused on magic. He wanted to learn as much spells as Momonga but since he wasn't an Overlord and therefore he couldn't use Dark Wisdom he managed to find some skills he gained by levelling up his racial levels and learned 200 more spells than the usual cap. It was nowhere near the 800 spells Momonga knew but it was still above average.

He also enjoyed practicing sword fighting and close quarters combat with Takemikazuchi, Touch Me and Genjiro which he was able to enjoy to the fullest when he was gifted the Azrael's blade by the rest of the guild. Anzio even though he was going towards higher education wasn't part of a wealthy family. His parents were working non stop to pay for their son's education. The guild members noticed he wasn't rich when they noticed the lack of pay to win items an average rich boy would have in Yggdrasil. Anzio rarely used pay to win items even when he had them. They were mostly gifts from other guild members which were like his second family. He felt like he was being spoiled by everyone. He knew they truly cared about him. Anzio cared about all of them to so he accepted the gifts graciously even though he tried not to use them. It felt wrong using something others paid real money for.

„No one's online huh… not even Momonga-senpai." Anzio sighed as he checked his friends list.

„I miss everyone." Anzio spoke to no one in particular.

Momonga asked Anzio a month ago to watch over the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Momonga told Anzio he just got a promotion at his job. Anzio was honestly happy for him. Promotions were rare in the world controlled by megacorporations. But Anzio concluded they just dumped more work on Momonga.

Poor Momonga must be exhausted if even he doesen't have time for Yggdrasil. He loved this world so much.. too bad he isn't here right now.. I wanted to let him know how good of a job I did but it seems that Yggdrasil will end and I won't even get to say a proper goodbye. He even made me vice-leader before he left so I could take better care of the tomb.

Well I'll take one last walk along theese hallways. Anzio was currently in the meeting room sitting in a chair around a table which was surrounded by 40 other chairs. He glanced at the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown. We never really got to use it. Even I helped create this staff. I was playing all nights long and studying for my finals every other moment of free time I had.

Momonga-senpai you won't mind if I take the staff and go and sit at the Throne of Kings one last time ? Anzio sighed and grabbed the staff. He walked to the corridor and noticed Sebas and the Pleiades standing there. „Oh, you're here huh? Follow." He gave them the programmed command and walked to the throne room. He sighed trying to fight off tears of nostalgia and sadness which were creeping up on him as he walked on the red carpet of he throne room looking at every one of the flags which lay on the massive pillars. He walked to the throne and sat on it. He looked at Albedo by his side. Tabula-sensei made a really pretty npc, I wonder why he didn't want to show me her settings. Well Tabula-sensei I'll just break into your npc's settings, if you don't want me to do it join the game and stop me.

Anzio brought the staff of Ainz Ooal Gown and hovered it over Albedo and her npc settings appeared. Wow.. why did you write a novel of information and didn't let us see it. Anzio scrolled down skimming through her settings untill he hit the bottom of the text and read. 'She's a bitch.' „What… how could you make such a beautiful woman shining with motherly affection be a bitch." Anzio sighed as he erased the last line of her character description. „Hmm should I write something there or leave it empty.. how about.. 'She is deeply in love with Anzio.' Anzio laughed and deleted that as soon as he wrote it. „I bet someone else would write that. I'll leave it empty." Anzio closed the menu and checked the time.

It'll be all over soon huh.. so many memories.. so many friends and it'll all be gone in less than two minutes.. You guys were my family.. the best family I could wish for.. I never told you any of this but I barely saw my parents. They just worked and slept. I know they loved me but I just wanted to spend some time with them. I'm glad I got to spend some time with you all. You were all amazing.. let's meet again some day

Anzio looked at the flags and the great hall of the throne room. His avatar couldn't cry but if it could there would be a flood of tears by now.

Anzio closed his eyes expecting to be automatically logged out. He felt tears streaming down his cheeks. Huh was I crying in real life.. Anzio slowly opened his eyes.

„Lord Anzio are you alright ?!" Anzio heard a beautifull voice deep with worry yell out. As he opened his eyes he looked at the source of the voice. It was Albedo. Huh how could she speak ? Why didn't I log out ? Anzio looked at her with a confused face as he noticed Sebas and all of the Pleiades looking at him all sharing the same worried look. Wait my console's gone.. I can't call a GM. Anzio noticed Albedo growing more distressed by the second. I have to tell her something she should calm down.

„The GM call function isn't working." Anzio spoke evenly

„Forgive this servant is too foolish to know what a 'GM call' is." Albedo dropped to one knee.

„Uhh it's alright.. I think I know what is happening.." Anzio spoke as he noticed he could smell and feel.. none of thoose were part of Yggdrasil to programme in smell and touch receptors.. the tech didn't exist yet. Wait.. is it like one of thoose really old anime I loved watching as a kid… did I just get isekaid ?!

„Sebas… go outside and scout the surroundings of the tomb, don't engage any hostiles, just scout the 10km radius around our home. Take Narberal Gamma with you and have her teleport you back if you run into any threat." Anzio ordered. I think Punitto Moe-sensei would do something like that in this situation.

„The rest of the Pleiades go to the ninth floor and defend from any intruders, try to capture them alive if you find any." Hmm I doubt anyone will have gotten to the 9th floot but better safe than sorry.

„And what shall you have me do Lord Anzio ?" Albedo asked still kneeling with her head bowed down.

„Uhmm.. Albedo I need to run a few tests could you please come closer." Anzio tried to keep his voice from shivering. Albedo smelled so good and Anzio couldn't believe he was this close to probably the most beautifull woman he ever saw.

„Uhmm I'll need to confirm something by touching you." Anzio blushed.

„Ofcourse Supreme One my body is yours to use as you see fit." Albedo spoke enthusiastically. I deleted the part where she loves me.. why is she acting so willing to this.. Anzio shook it off as he touched Albedo's neck placing it on her arthery. She has a pulse.. she seems to be excited.. her breathing is heavy too and she is warm..

Albedo flapped her wings excitedly. I am being touched by a supreme being and by Lord Anzio, the most adorable and beautifull of all the supreme beings. Oh Lord Anzio is so adorable I wish I could cuddle him all by myself."

Why is she so excited about this.. ugh I have one more thing to confirm and I really don't want to do that to Tabula-sensei's creation..

„Uhm Albedo.. I need to touch your chest if that's okay with you.." Anzio blushed an even darker shade of red.

„Oh yes please touch my chest !" Albedo exclaimed. „Do you want to call me mommy my lord ?" Albedo moaned.

So that's why she is so turned on by this.. Tabula-sensei did you give Albedo a mommy kink ? And did I just miss that bit of information where she wants to be my 'mommy' ?! Anzio sighed. How could you do that to me Sensei ! Well I still need to confirm if this isn't Yggdrasil anymore. If I touch her chest and nothing happens I will confirm I really got isekaid.

Anzio took a deep breath and gently grabbed and then squezeed Albedo's chest. Wow.. they are so big.. and so nice and soft.. but not too soft.. Ugh snap out of it you pervert. Anzio reprimanded himself as he stopped fondling Albedo's chest much to the disappointment of the horny succubus.

„Do you want me to undress myself.. or do you want to do it my Lord ?! My first time will be her in this throne room am I right Lord Anzio ?" Albedo was clearly excited.

„Sorry Albedo but this isn't the time.. We are in an unknown situation so could you please gather all the guardians besides Gargantua and Victim and have them meet me in the amphitheater on the 6th floor in one hour?"

Albedo bowed „Understood my lord !" Albedo bowed once again and then left to gather the guardians.

Anzio exhaled loudly. „This was.. intense.. well I should go to the 6th floor the adorable twins Bukubukuchagama-senpai created were guarding that floor." Anzio glanced at the ring of Ainz Ooal Gown on his finger and tried to focus on getting teleported to the 6th floor. It worked ! Anzio smiled clearly happy the rings still worked as he found himself standing in the amphitheater. He began walking to the center of the amphitheater when he heard a cute voice call out to him as Aura jumped from around 40 meters and landed without a problem in front of Anzio.

„Welcome Lord Anzio to the floor I guard." Aura bowed and smiled at him.

„Wow.. you really are adorable.." Anzio always wanted a younger brother or sister since he was an only child but he knew raising kids was also expensive. Anzio really wanted to pat her head so he did just that patting her head and ruffling her blonde hair.

Aura blushed at the praise and care she was getting from one of the Supreme Beings but she soon felt Anzio stop headpatting her.

„By the way Aura.. where is your brother..?" Anzio asked kindness radiating from his voice and the smile he gave her.

„MAREEE" Aura yelled.

„I-I'm coming sis !" Mare began walking down the steps of the amphitheater running in a girly way while fixing up his skirt every few steps.

Mare is a trap but he's still adorable. Anzio smiled

„S-sorry for m-making you wait Lord Anzio !" Mare bowed down.

„It's alright I just came here to do some tests if that's alright with you." Anzio smiled and patted both of their heads.

„What are you talking about Lord Anzio ? You are one of the 41 Supreme Beings, the one chosen by Lord Momonga to lead the guild in his absence. This tomb belongs to you my Lord." Aura spoke and Mare nodded in agreement.

Hmm that's weird they have memories of things which happened before the game ended and they know of my position in the guild.

„Well then.. I'll try out some magic." Anzio smiled bringing the staff of Ainz Ooal Gown forward.

„Wow is that the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown ?!" The twins stared in amazement and excitement.

„Oh yeah it's our guild weapon. We worked really hard to make it. It's so powerful it's on par with any world level item." Anzio smiled proudly as the twins looked at him with admiration gleaming in their heterochromic eyes.

Anzio smiled „Let's test it out shall we ?" The twins jumped in excitement. They were about to witness the staff of Ainz Ooal Gown being used by Lord Anzio.

Aura had some of her beasts bring out targets made out of hay.

„Hmm let's start with some low tier spells." Anzio smiled as he pointed the staff towards one of the hay targets.

[Lightning] The spell hit the hay target incinerating it untill only dust remained. Wow I think the staff amplifies spells a bit. I can also feel all 508 spells and their effects in my head.. and I know my MP and HP without the console.. I also kinda feel smarter.. maybe because of my genius class.

„How about a high tier summoning spell..?" Anzio smiled

[Summon greated demonic beast] Anzio smirked as the spell worked and he only felt he lost a bit of his MP. A summoning circle appeared as a massive beast crawled out from what seemed like the pits of hell itself. It was covered in dark flames and blood like a big deformed werewolf with demonic wings on it's back.

Aura and Mare looked at the summon with admiration. This creature was more powerfull than most of Aura's beasts.

„It's a level 90 summon. So, Aura, Mare wanna try your fighting skills against it ? I think he'll prove to be no match for you two." Anzio smiled as Aura jumped in excitement. She hand't had a good fight in a while.

„U-uh I just remembered, I- I need to do something." Mare tried to sneak away but Aura pulled him back. „Mareeeee ! Come on it will be fun !" Mare sighed as he couldn't go against his older sister.

Anzio stepped back and watched as the twins defeated the summon with ease. He smiled and began clapping when they approached him.

„Well done you two, you were amazing, and you had some good coordination between you." Anzio praised them and the twin elves smiled happy to recieve such praise from a Supreme Being.

„Oh gosh you two must be thirsty huh." Anzio pulled out two glasses and a pitcher of water from his inventory.

„No.. we can't possibly accept that you're to generous Anzio-sama !" Aura tried to argue.

„What it's just water, what's the big deal ?" Anzio poured the water in both glasses and handed it to them not allowing them to argue with him any longer.

Hmm.. if I got transported to a new world with Nazarick then I have almost infinite resources and a few really powerfull sentient NPCs.. if there are powerful beings out there I won't try to fight them.. if the world is weak.. I could help it.. I doubt there is an easy way to the old world but even if it did exist.. I don't know if I want to go home.. without me my parents can finally stop working so hard.. they could rest and enjoy life without struggling to make enough money for my tuitions.. besides even if I did finish some university I'd still end up under the mega corporations and if I were lucky I'd get a promotion once every 10 or 20 years. I'm staying here.. sorry mom.. dad.. I know you love me.. I'll miss you.. but there my life was bound to be miserable.. here I can shape my own life.

Wielder of Azrael's blade – The angel of death can wield the World level item „Azrael's blade" no matter their class restrictions

Azrael's blade - A world level item which can only be wielded by someone who has all five levels as an Angel of Death. The sword has an instant-death ability which can kill a player instantly if they are below 50% hp and have no resurrection items on them. The damadge output increases every time the sword kills someone.
