CHAPTER 1:

No, Robin was not happy about it.

He and the team had just arrived at the cave and he was going through several exams and readings, one of them being magic.

"Actually, it wasn't exactly a weapon," Robin interrupted. ''That was the item from the auction we stopped, the owner who used it as a weapon. I think in desperation he forgot the object's true function.'

"Could be." Batman nodded and turned back to the pair of heroes. ''What did you find out?

The two looked at each other again and Zatara started.

''A concept that is still new to us, the multiverse, is involved. As far as I could see, there is a magic that connects several worlds, having ours as a starting point.'

''The technological part that the ring deciphered reached the same result.''

-Megan, please tell me you're doing the rest listening to this?-

-Yes- was the answer

-Dude, the multiverse? Is this serious? Type The Multiverse.- Kid Flash

-Quiet, I want to hear.- Artemis

"Are you telling me this connected Robin with other versions of him around the multiverse?" Canary asked.

''More or less. I mean, if it hit the kid's skin, then yes. It would be connected to other versions of it, but that wasn't the case. The laser touched the Robin symbol. We don't know if all the Robins in the multiverse have the same identity, but ours is connected to them." Hal explained.

-DUDE!- Kid Flash

"And will that have any consequences for them?" Canary asked.

"We don't know yet, this spell could just be binding, it could be communication or transport." Zatara looked back at Robin.

"Transportation?" Robin asked.

''It is possible that a random number of Robins will be transported to us.''

''How many? the boy insists.

"Enough to satisfy the spell, I couldn't say for sure, and would probably be warned with a glow coming from everyone."

"Can't we stop it if that happens?" Batman asks, letting some worry show. At least to Robin it was apparent.

"Not without hurting them all deeply." was the serious response.

Batman just nods. ''How long for you to determine this?

''Twenty-four hours, if no Robin shows up or telepathically communicates with you, then we'll know it's just a call. But don't worry, all options are temporary.''

Before anyone asked anything, one of the screens lit up and Superman's face appeared.

''Lantern, I need you in Jump City.''

"I'm coming." He replies and the screen goes blank. The flashlight shakes its head. "Why don't we send the team over there, everyone would be happy about it," he mutters as he leaves the room.

"I need to go too, call me if something happens." Zatara waved at them and left the room.

Batman turned to his adopted son.

''Are you sure you estare alright?

''Yes B.''

"You will stay on the mountain until further notice, no quests until we know the nature of this spell."

Robin nodded.

-Lucky we're on vacation from school. Did you hear that?-

-Yes! That calls for a sleepover!- Megan

Robin smiled at her excitement, though he wasn't so excited. Other people wearing his symbol gave him a headache.

-Me and Art are staying too, there's no way I'll miss the possible arrival of another Robin!- Kid Flash

-As if one isn't troll enough.- Artemis replied

-You love me.- Robin
