Sorry this took so long to get out. Finals are coming up and, needless to say, I've been swamped with work. But I don't want to keep you guys waiting! And as per normal, time to start with the cute adoption.

Charlie was used to being used as a pillow.

Not by girls, of course. Charlie had been a long time bachelor. But rather, the only girl he needed in his life: his pet duck, Elizabeth. He'd had his duck for quite a while and she helped make his life a little less lonely.

But he had a feeling he wouldn't be lonely at all anymore.

As joining Elizabeth was his new son, Brick.

Charlie had first run into Brick on a walk home from the store. Brick quickly revealed that, among other things, he had almost no memory of anything. At first, Charlie could only wonder who would name their child after building material. But then his mind caught up to the fact this kid didn't know anything about his parents. So Brick did what any responsible adult would do and took him to a police station. Then it was discovered that there was no record of Brick anywhere. Admittedly, Charlie was okay with this, as it meant he could adopt him. He liked the kid.

"Dad?" Charlie glanced down at his son.

"Yes, Brick?" He answered.

"When do I get a mustache like yours?" Brick asked as he looked over said mustache.

Charlie howled with laughter. "You've got to be a little older, Brick."

"Awww…." Brick groaned. Elizabeth nuzzled him, causing Brick to smile and laugh. Charlie couldn't help but smile at his son and pet. He was enjoying just how much more full the house felt now.

"Looks like it's been a long day," Charlie noted as he carried his now sleeping son to the new bedroom he set up for him. It was somewhat empty, but Charlie had a feeling that would be changing soon.

"Quack?" Elizabeth looked at him.

"I know it's going to be a change, but I think it's a change that we'll both come to love," Charlie assured his pet. She seemingly nodded. With a smile, Brick set his son down into his bed, before slowly pulling the covers over him. "Goodnight Brick,"

"Goodnight dad," Brick said softly as Charlie closed the door. Clearly he wasn't as tired as Charlie thought. He was still getting used to being called a dad. But it was something he quite liked to hear.

Just as a heads up, this is going to be a story where it's going to skip a lot of growing up to the story. But anyways, I know what you are all thinking. Why Brick in Pikmin of all games? First off, I know I have to explain a lot. So I know that it's implied that the characters in the series are really small, but I can't really use that, so they are the size of normal humans, albeit a bit smaller on average. But as for Brick and Charlie's relationship, I noticed that they looked kinda similar. Not to mention, they have similar personalities, with both being army men who are leaders of their friends, of which they will do anything for.
