So, I am in no means a FanFic writer. I enjoy the world of FanFiction and I love reading all of the Fics, but I wanted to try my hand at writing my own Fic, and if it's horrible let me know because I will go back into the shadows and just admire everyone else's work. I do have a TBI so sometimes my grammar isn't the best. I am fine, but like I said, sometimes it isn't the best so, if it's too horrible just let me know and I will try harder.

Anyways, please enjoy this story and let me know what you think. Leave me some comments and review it. I appreciate any constructive criticism that you guys may have, I am open to any and everything!

I do not own the characters. (Obvi, I wish I did because we would have gotten our Calzona ending)

Arizona woke with a groan. Her alarm blaring and disrupting her precious slumber. She reached over to her nightstand and hit the snooze button on her phone. She was not looking forward to being the new kid but at the same time she was used to it. She was a military brat after all. Her dad had got stationed in Seattle on a contractor job. It was her senior year; she was happy that she would be able to finish it in one place but at the same time she missed the friends she had made at her last school. The school she was promised to be able to graduate from, but like her dad always says, 'You don't need friends, friends get you nowhere, you have to look out for yourself and yourself only'.

Ten minutes later and Arizona finally rolled out of bed, she slowly made her way to her bathroom, tripping over boxes as she went on. She slowly peaked through one eye and groaned at the sight of herself. She normally was so put together and somehow always managed to wake up looking perfect, and she never liked to toot her own horn, but she knew she was hot, she knew people looked at her and she knew people were lined up to be with her but even with knowing this she knew to be humble; she knew that there was a huge difference between being cocky and confident and that's exactly what she was, confident. Arizona sighed and began to wash her face, she always put on a morning face mask, having soft skin was something she needed.

Once her facemask was perfectly placed, she started to brush her teeth, she looked at her phone and saw many messages and pictures of her friends at her old school, she sighed and got sad. She really wanted to be with them, I mean, along with them being her good friends her dad's last duty station was in Guam and who doesn't want to live in Gaum? She angerly slammed her phone down and finished brushing her teeth. She huffed and made her way back to room, going into her closet and rummaging through the boxes that housed her clothes. She wanted to turn heads with her outfit, but she also wanted to keep it lowkey, something cute, yet sexy, smart, yet screams i'm easy.

After what felt like hours, she finally found a white fitted crop top, some dark blue ripped skinny jeans and some white vans. She made her way back to her bathroom and took a shower. After her shower, she dried her hair and put some curls into it, she brushed them out, so she had a nice natural wave to it. She did a very natural makeup look and finished it off with some lip gloss. Grabbing her phone, she grabbed her backpack and made her way downstairs.

Barbara, Arizona's mother turned around and smiled at her daughter, but her smile quickly faded when she saw her daughter's outfit "Absolutely not"

Arizona stopped dead in her tracks and looked at her mother with a confused look "What?" She asked as she took a seat at the island. She grabbed a plate and started scooping some eggs onto it and grabbed a few pieces of bacon.

"Your outfit, I don't like it" Barbara said as she sipped her coffee "You're showing too much skin"

Arizona huffed, she wasn't one to really give her mom attitude, but she was irritable this morning "Mom, please, be quiet. I don't care. There is nothing wrong with my outfit" Arizona said with a huff. She saw her mother's face and she knew she was going to be in trouble for speaking to her mom like that, so before her mother could say anything she spoke up "I'm sorry mom, I...I'm just nervous and angry because my old cheer team is posting photos of them and I just hate being the new kid, also, nothing is wrong with my outfit, it's just skin, besides you bought me these clothes so, really if anyone is to blame, go look in the mirror" Arizona finished with a wink and a smile. Her mother was her best friend, she was always very open and honest with the girl, so, when she came out to her mother it was a piece of cake "Plus, I might meet my wife at school today mom, I really need to dress to impress"

Barbara laughed at her daughter, she knew she struggled with making friends, Arizona was too pure for her own good and because of that people often took advantage of that and it hurt to see her daughter hurt, so, she will go to the worlds end protecting her baby "You got me there, but at least put on a different shirt?" Barbara tried to reason with her daughter.

Arizona finished off her plate of food and walked it to the sink before rinsing it off "Mom, please. This shirt isn't even bad, it's hardly cropped" Arizona said "Please, I planned my whole day around this outfit, I know you haven't been to high school since 1920 but this is 2018 mom, things have changed" Arizona said with a wink, she grabbed her water bottle and the lunch that her mom had packed her. She saw her brothers lunch packed and looked around for her brother "Mom, you do know Tim is a sophomore in college, he doesn't need his lunch packed for him. Plus, he doesn't even go to campus, he does online because he's dumb and got expelled from campus for defacing the campus statue, child of the year award right there"

"And I'm still a legend around there" Tim said as she finally made his presence known in the kitchen "Plus, I can go back next year, I'm just not allowed to live on campus anymore" Tim said with a shrug as she ate some bacon.

"Yeah, and look at you now, stuck at home on house arrest" Arizona said with a smile "Sucks to be you" Tim threw a piece of bacon at Arizona. Arizona's eyes went wide as she grabbed some fruit and threw it at her brother "Grow up Tim and watch the outfit, I'm wearing a white shirt" Arizona said as she walked away, she grabbed her jeep keys and got in. She put the address of the school in her phone's GPS and backed out of the driveway.

Arizona was blasting some Alt-J as she pulled into the school parking lot, she searched high and low for a spot before she finally found the perfect spot in the back, she didn't trust these kids yet around her Jeep. Arizona sighed and got out. She went into the back and grabbed her backpack, her head whipped around when she heard someone walking up to her.

"Hey, I'm Teddy and judging that you parked in the teacher's lot, I'm going to assume you are new" Teddy said with a smile.

Arizona looked around and realized that some students were looking at her as well as some teachers, she started to turn a small shade of red and she sighed. What a way to make a first impression. Arizona finally opened her mouth to speak "I had no clue" Arizona said with a smile "I'm Arizona by the way, do you maybe want to show me all the good places to park that teacher don't occupy, also, I have never seen teachers get their own lot at a school. Nice" Arizona said as she opened the driver's side door "You can get in if you want" Arizona said to the dirty blonde that stood in front of her.

Teddy made her way to the passenger's side. Once she slipped in, she smiled "Smells good in here" She said with a smile "Okay, there is a perfect spot next to me" Teddy helped Arizona navigate the parking lot and showed her where to park "Now my car is nothing compared to this monster of a Jeep, but she is my baby, and I worked all summer to get her" Teddy said with a chuckle.

Arizona looked at Teddy's cute little Fiat car. For some reason it really screamed Teddy. Arizona had no idea who this girl really is but for some reason the car really fit the girl "No, it's cute. It's totally you" Arizona said as she flashed her dimpled smile.

"You don't even know me" Teddy said with a smile. She could just tell that her and Arizona were going to be great friends "But I would love to get to know you. I think we could be really good friends" Teddy said as she got out of the lifted Jeep.

Arizona smiled at the girl in front of her. She shook her head and smiled at what she assumed was her new friend.

"Let me see your schedule, I want to see if we have any classes together" Teddy said as the pair walked through the doors. Watching as the blonde took out her schedule Teddy was engulfed in a hug from her boyfriend "Henry, be nice and say hello to my new friend, Arizona" Teddy said with a smile as she gave her boyfriend a quick kiss. Henry then waved and gave the blonde a small shy wave.

Arizona smiled and gave a small wave as well as she handed her schedule over to Teddy. Arizona took a deep breath and took in her environment, this school was large yet if felt very intimate and small, she liked it. She could tell that everyone had their own unique style and of course everyone was already in their respected cliques. She really hoped that she would find her home and place in this school soon.

Teddy's voice snapped her out of her own thought's "What did you say?" Arizona asked with a small smile.

"I said that we have, first period, second period, fourth period and seventh period together, other than that you are on your own" Teddy said as she handed Arizona her schedule back.

Arizona nodded her head and smiled, at least Teddy was going to be with her for most of the day. She took a final look at her schedule, realizing she and Teddy both had AP Biology. She was taking mostly AP and duel credit classes this semester, as well as taking a few college classes online. She wanted to be a surgeon, so she needed to get a lot of her schooling done as quickly as possible. She had no desire being in school longer than she needed to be. She watched as Teddy and her boyfriend said their goodbye's before following the blonde to their first class.

"Okay, this is important" Teddy said as the pair walked into the class.

"What is" Arizona said with a chuckle as she looked around the class. It was your typical science class, lab tables took up most of the space, then of course there was the teachers desk and the white board and of course all the safety things that were required for a science class. It was definitely one of the better science classes she has been in.

"Picking the perfect lab area" Teddy said with a look that screamed 'duh' "Plus, it's where you get to sit for the rest of the year, so obviously we are sitting together, and we have to pick a third, because there are only three people allowed at a lab table" Teddy said as she looked at her options. Finally. Teddy found the perfect lab table. It was right in the middle, far enough from the teachers desk but close enough to the board to take notes, far enough from other lab tables but close enough to still talk to other people in the class. Teddy took her seat and waited for the blonde to follow "Okay, now we need to figure out who our third lab partner is going to be" Teddy said as she scanned the room, she looked as her fellow classmates started to pile in to the class.

Arizona watched as her new friend literally scanned every face that walked into the room "Teddy, really? You have been going to school with these people since I assume elementary school, you know them, pick someone you like and someone you think will like me and we will be solid" Arizona said with a smile. When Teddy didn't answer her, she herself started to scan the room. Her eyes fell onto a shy looking girl, she seemed timid, almost scared to be at school. Arizona felt bad, she had a knack for taking the underdog under her wing "What about her?" Arizona said as she flicked her head over to the mysterious girl who looked to be struggling to find a lab seat.

Teddy directed her attention to where the blonde was looking and she laughed out loud "No, absolutely not" Teddy said as she continued to look around the room, finally her eyes found the guy she was looking for "MARK" Teddy basically yelled. Seeing that dazzling smile Teddy knew she made the right decision. Once the blonde haired man, well, it was almost silver, it was very fitting, once he reached the lab table he threw his backpack down and sat down "Mark, this is Arizona, I don't know her last name but Arizona this is Mark, school flirt. Has slept with every female that has ever walked the halls here" Teddy said with a smile.

Arizona outstretched her hand "Well, for the record my last name is Robbins, and it's nice to meet you Mark" Arizona said with a smile "Also, why didn't you want to be lab partners with her?" Arizona asked Teddy. Everyone had basically found their seats and Arizona saw that the poor girl had yet to be chosen for a lab group. Her heart broke just a little.

Both Mark and Teddy busted out laughing "You're kidding right? Torres?" Mark said with a look of both amusement and disgust.

Arizona looked between the two of them "Yeah, I guess, I don't know her name, what's wrong with her? She seems sweet" Arizona said as she looked back over at the dark haired mystery girl.

"I mean, I guess in retrospect nothing is wrong with her, she's just so weird, like really weird, she talks about bones, a lot and that in itself is creepy, and she reads like all the time and when you talk to her she just, I don't know she is just so weird and everyone stays away from her because she wears the same thing like everyday and she has OCD and you can't touch her and, I don't know, I don't really care, all I know is I stay away from her because I don't need people thinking i'm friends with people like that" Mark said with a shrug "But don't worry your pretty head about it blondie, hang with us and you'll be popular, trust me" Mark said as she flashed a grin and wink at Arizona.

Being popular was not something Arizona cared about, I mean, it just so happened she always managed to become friends with people who were well known around the school. It just always happened but yeah, social status never really appealed to her. Arizona sighed. She hated to hear the way Mark spoke about this person she only knew as 'Torres' but what was she gonna do? The bell had rung and the teacher had already begun teaching class.

'Torres' was tucked away in the back, all by herself and Arizona couldn't help but feel this awful feeling in her chest. No one deserved to be talked about like that without them knowing.

Class went by pretty fast. Arizona had planned to introduce herself to 'Torres' but as she was packing up she saw the girl hurry out of class. She felt a little defeated. Arizona looked at her schedule and saw she had College algebra next with of course the one and only Teddy, obviously.

"You ready to go? Next class is brutal, I have heard nothing but horrible things about Mr. Webber, he is a real hard ass" Teddy said as she flung her backpack over her shoulders and let it settle on her back "I saw your face" Teddy said as the two walked through the halls

"My face? What's wrong with my face?" Arizona said as she saw everyone looking at her. She had a love hate relationship with being the new kid.

"When mark was talking about Torres" Teddy began. She stopped right before they needed to walk into their classroom. They still had three minutes before they needed to be in their seats "Look, Torres is just the kid in this school that no one likes, there is really no rhyme or reason for it. It's been that way since we were in middle school and it's just stuck, but I promise you, you talk to her and your entire reputation at this school will be horrible and I don't want that for you, so drop it" Teddy said as she walked into the classroom.

Arizona really hated being told what to do.

Arizona went the entire day without seeing 'Torres again' and it kind of broke her heart. She wanted the chance to at least say hi to her. Let her know that she is seen and she is valid but it didn't work out that way.

Arizona parked her Jeep in the spot her dad had made just for her and got out. She left her backpack in her car, there was really no need for her to bring it in, she had no homework anyways. She walked inside and saw her mom sitting in the living room eating some snacks and drinking a hot cup of tea. Arizona flopped down next to her mom and sighed.

Barbara opened her arms and let her daughter get situated next to her. She pulled the blonde close and rubbed small circles on her back "I know that sigh, what's up? Bad day?" She asked as she paused the tv and gave her daughter her full attention.

"So there's this girl" Arizona started, she was going to continue speaking but her mother interrupted her.

"Ohhh a girl, do tell" Barbara said with a knowing smirk. She knew how her daughter was and it didn't surprise her that her daughter was already talking to her about girls.

Arizona shoved her mom playfully "It's not like that, I swear" Arizona sat up and faced her mom "She...People hate her, they talk about her and just say such awful things and it sucks mom, because I swear she looks so sweet and innocent and I don't even know her but I can already tell she is none of those things that people say about her" Arizona said with sad eyes "I tried to look for her all day but I couldn't find her"

Barbara sighed, she knew her daughter had a huge heart and she often took people being bullied really hard and it was one of the many things that she loved about her daughter "What's her name?" Barbara asked. She knew the way to approach this conversation with her daughter, she knew that the best way for it to go smoothly was to just ask questions and support her.

"That's the thing, I have no clue" Arizona said "They call her at 'Torres' and I don't even know if that's her real name or what" Arizona said with a sad sigh "I...I just don't know, there is something about her, I just want to find her and let her know that she matters and let her know we can be friends, I don't know, maybe it's not even my place to care" Arizona said. She sighed and began to get up but her mother quickly pulled her back down "Mom, please, I need to go take a nap or something, i'm drained" Arizona whined.

"I think, we are gonna go look on the schools website and look at the yearbook and see if we can find someone that goes by that name" Barbara said as she pulled her laptop out. Arizona quickly grabbed her moms hand.

"Mom, that is super creepy, let me just see if I can find her tomorrow at school and we can go from there, okay?" Arizona said with a soft smile. When her mother agreed Arizona excused herself and went to her room, she began to unpack but her mind just kept going to the mysterious girl that no one likes and she now was making it her mission to befriend this girl and show her that there are good people in the world who care and who matter.

Operation be best friends with Torres was a go.
