Sup, guys? Lighting wolf here, back with another story. This one about MLP. Enjoy the 800-word chapter done! I don't own MLP, Hasbro, and a few others do.

There was plenty of unicorns in Bramblewood who were run down by the lack of magic. Many had more then that single reason to be depressed.

One such unicorn who were quite saddened was one who lived at Oak Leaf Orphanage. The unicorn who was quite depressed by the reason he was there. Dusk was a unicorn who was quite worn down by something.

'Why do they keep chasing me?' Dusk questioned before he looked over his shoulder.

There was almost nothing that saddened him more then why he was here. He was scared, the staff knew it as well. Still? They were nice enough to leave him alone when it came down to it.

It wasn't like he hated them. He was mad at them for prodding at the scared and confused, messing with him when he was still saddened on it. Then again? He was annoyed that there was a few that mocked the circumstances behind his arrival here. It wasn't like he had chosen to be here. If he did? Then he'd be confused and probably ask the same.

The unicorn sighed and leaned back against the windowsill. He was completely demoralized. It wasn't like there was anything that cheered him up here. The orphanage had no real toys for them to play with. He doubted that it was enough to help them considering most of them were still foals and fillies, you couldn't placate them with simple knickknacks when one thought about it.

However? He couldn't really do much to complain at the moment. They were trying their best to make them all happy and fine, that was no real reason to be upset with them, but it was still was still something that someone noticed.

"He still hasn't come out of his room." The unicorn heard as he started to look around the room. "Do you think something will be done about it? He's been here for a week or such. He didn't want to talk to anyone here." The unicorn heard before he turned to the door.

"You can't rush him; you saw what happened to him before he came here." He heard as he rolled his eyes. "Nobody should have been around that fire. We can't just expect him to liven up. He just needs time, give him a day or two. If nothing comes of it? Then we can try and introduce someone to him." He heard before he hummed to himself.

There was a lot of questions to himself. He was plenty saddened, but that wasn't helping him. There was a lot to be done by the staff and him? He didn't want to hear them talk about him at the moment.

"May I please g-go outside?" He questioned before he shook his head, scared and unsure of what to say. "Please? I'd like to go outside if that's ok with you." He stated before he stated, looking outside.

There were a few minutes of silence. It was quite interesting how when it came down to it? They were still concerned with how he was saddened, but they had plenty of other children to take care of currently.

"Yes, of course." He heard before he opened the door to the young unicorn's room. "But you remember the rules. We can't really let someone roam around without supervision." He heard as he sighed and nodded to himself.

There was some sadness in their words when it came down to it. Still? There was plenty of work and both unicorns who stood outside the door when it comes down to it. He was quite hopeful that he could get his thoughts together. He still needed to get some sleep when he focused on it.

'There's about 12 ponies here when I think about it. How they managed to deal with 25 ponies is beyond me. Maybe it's best not to really ask when I thought about it.

Still? They were the only ponies who he trusted currently. It was making him doubt his own feelings on this matter.

He slowly followed them outside, hopeful as to how this could have gone when it came down to it. He hummed and rubbed at his temples, happy as to this free time he was given.

Phew. Another chapter done! I want to point out that there will be a delay at the moment due to the lack of Izzy tags and such. Next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show both the unicorn meeting Izzy and set up his name and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
