Preface
We never believed that this would be how our life turned out - although we'd had plenty of reason since coming here to know that it would be something we never could have imagined before - and my sister and I could never hope for anything better. We were surrounded by people who loved us, our family and friends, and if this is how we had to go, then so be it.
We stared across the clearing, holding our breath as we looked at the enemy advancing.
Surely it was a good way to die, protecting innocent lives from danger. Noble, even. It was our purpose on this planet.
We knew that if we had never come here our lives would have been completely different. However, knowing what we did now, we would never ask for anything differently. When life offers you a life you thought could only exist in dreams, with unimaginable happiness you do whatever you can to hold onto it and never let it end.
I turned to look at my sister, our eyes meeting before we turned to the battle heading our way.
A/N: Hello everyone! This is the rewrite of Forever and Always, the only story I've ever marked as completed on this site before. Now that was originally published in 2012 when I was fourteen, and now I'm twenty years old and a junior in college. I am debating on changing the name and will have a poll up on my profile. Also, if you have read the original, please know that this will be very different, as I very much focused on the wolf pack before and did not even mention Bella or the Cullens.
