Right off the bat, we need to get some stuff outta the way. This is going to increase as the story goes on as more and more things need to be given disclaimers and stuff on.

DISCLAIMER!

I've done my best to research and portray every disorder, condition and everything more in as realistic detail as I can. I will inevitably make a mistake, and when that happens, correct me with a source so I can put it in my notes for future reference and move on.

Schizophrenics are not automatically violent and are more likely to be victims of violence. Jason is not automatically a violent person, and is his willingness to use violence is NOT because of his schizophrenia. Jason's schizophrenia does not make him violent. Delusions and hallucinations can push a schizophrenic person to violence but this is very uncommon and more often than not, any violence will be self-inflicted on the sufferer (self-harm and suicide are sadly common amongst schizophrenics). This event will occur in-story later on but there is no malicious intent behind it and there will justifiable reasoning beyond delusions and hallucinations.

Autism is a massive spectrum, do not take Evan's portrayal as how all autistics are. Autism is a very difficult disorder to write and portray, and while I am autistic along with a having majority autistic friends, it is still very difficult to write thanks to so many overwhelming factors. I will be using myself and my own experiences as well fo that of friends plus my own research. None of Evan's behaviors nor thinking processes are meant to be intentionally stereotypical and offensive nor playing the trope "Hollywood Autism", they are just things I have witnessed myself, things I do myself, things my friends have told me about themselves, or things my research has proven would be in play. Evan's portrayal is not going to be a case of "Hollywood Autism" however one or two things listed on the page will be in play, as these are things I do myself, or my friends do (literal-mindedness, extreme interest in specific things, rarely speaking or speaking too much, etc.), and for that, do not scream at me and accuse me of using the trope because one or two behaviors are listed on the page.

If the above makes no sense, here's it boiled down.

Schizophrenics aren't violent. Being schizophrenic does not make you violent. Jason's not automatically violent because he's schizophrenic. Jason being violent at times is not because he is schizophrenic.

Most of the behaviors Evan displays are ones I display myself on a daily basis in conversation, in private and alone. Some of those behaviors are also often seen in inaccurate and/or offensive portrayals of autism. Those behaviors being at play does not mean Evan is an offensive portrayal or suffering from "Hollywood Autism".

I don't live in Texas, or France, or England, and I'm not a Karankawa Native American. I've done my best to ask people from these places about culture and all, and I've researched these cultures as best I can. I'm even considering joining Discord Servers to get more input from others (I haven't joined yet because I'm not from these places nor a part of these groups, but I plan on doing so).

I don't play instruments, so I'll try my best with the music lingo but expect mistakes which I'll gladly correct should they occur.

Basically, I don't have personal experience with a lot of stuff so it's all up to others' experiences and research to help construct the most realistic and accurate portrayals, references and atmosphere.

I am debating on including the Five Nights in Anime game due to the sexual nature of the game. If they are included, they would be your average 10/11/12-year-old Japanese and Japanese-American girls with zero sexual references at all (Balloon Babe for example would be known as Balloon Bab or Anime Sachiko). I've already named them and given them grades and all but I still am debating on including them. In the off-chance they are included, then, DISCLAIMER!: I am aware of what Five Nights in Anime is and I have ensured there will be nothing sexual about the School Days versions of the characters. Everything about them will be age appropriate.

O.C. Thing

Hello everyone. If you want to submit and OC and have it in this story, then go ahead and fill this out in a review or PM. These OCs will be background characters with small parts sporadically occurring throughout the story. They will be used to fill out the student population or teaching staff or random characters (shopkeepers, customers etc.), and if you want me to write a chapter for them like I have for "Crew Lockman", let me know and I'll see what I can do.

Some ground rules to establish, if you give your character a disorder, do your research on it and be realistic. I'll obviously be researching myself, but do your own when you write the O.C.
Next, be realistic in general. You can have different colors for hair and eyes, but you must specify that this is dye and contacts and tell me their original colors. These are fully human children, remember.
Speaking of children, the age range for students is 5-18.

Name: Their real and full name. If they have a case like Freddy, Bonnie or Chica where their surname was changed but only their parents and siblings use the changed surname, put the original one in brackets. Example is Freddy's surname was originally "Bearns" until his father changed it. Freddy's brothers, mother and father have "Fazbear" as their surname while the rest of the family have "Bearns" as theirs.

Faction Name: Nightguards keep their real name, Animatronics usually get nicknames e.g. Gordon is Goldie, Seán is Springtrap, Fionn is Foxy, Fianna is Mangle etc. Some Nightguards have nicknames such as Matt is Phone Guy, Nicholas is Phone Dude etc.

Age: Their age and the grade they are in (if you don't know the age, take 5 and add the grade number to it, and that's the age your character is. For grades, take the age and subtract 5, and that's the grade. Example: 5 + 2 = 7 so anyone in 2nd grade must be 7/12 - 5 = 7 so anyone who's 12 is in 7th grade. I'll make a chart if need be and put it on my DeviantArt.)

Gender: Male or Female.

Faction: Nightguard, Animatronic, Honorary Animatronic (not an Animatronic but an observer of the faction), Honorary Nightguard (not a Nightguard but an observer of the faction) or True Neutral (not involved at all).

Animal Representation: The animal they represent. Freddy gets bear ears and a bear tail because he is a bear in the game. Most Nightguards don't have these since the ones in-game are strictly human, however your one can if you really want.

Appearance: Physical appearance, clothes and the optional faction uniform/prop should your O.C. have one (Animatronics usually have uniforms, Nightguards usually have themed props however these aren't 100% needed).

Personality: Their personality. Doesn't have to be very long, just enough where I can get an idea of what they're like.

Notes: Any notes on them like disorders, likes, dislikes, relations to other characters etc. I'll be posting a full list of all the characters in S.N. (all students, extras, parents, staff etc.) for your convenience on my DeviantArt.
