Author's POV:

'RING! RING! RING!'

~ 6:30 AM ~

A twenty-four year old woman, named Aki Izinski woke up and turned off her alarm. She got up from her warm bed and went to the bedroom next to hers, there was her six year old son sleeping. His name is Yuta and he has his mother's eyes, but his father's hair and skin tone.

Even though she is a single mom, she never had any regrets giving birth to her son. At first she was terrified when she found out she was pregnant, but after holding him for the first time she vowed to do whatever she can to make him happy. There were times she wished she could tell Yuta about his father, but he is still too young to understand why she did.

"Yuta...it's time to wake up for school." Aki said, rubbing her son's forehead. He slowly opened his amber eyes and got up rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"Do I have to go?" Yuta yawned.

"Yes, you do. Now, go wash up while I prepare you some breakfast." Aki smiled.

"Okay..." He got up and went to the bathroom, while Aki placed his uniform on his bed and went downstairs to cook breakfast. Aki works as a secretary at a company called, Kenton Corp., which is a architect company, but she goes by Mika. The reason she goes by a different name in public is because she is a run away.

When she found out she was carrying Yuta, she didn't want her son to be involved in the same situation she was in. She used to be in love with Yusei, Yuta's father, when they were teens, but when he became a leader of a gang, his whole personality changed. He used to be kind and show compassionate, but he started to get aggressive all of a sudden, so she had no choice but to leave.

There are nights were she would get nightmares of seeing him again or worse him taking Yuta away from her.

Yuta came rushing downstairs and hugged his mom's leg. He always enjoyed smelling his mother's cooking no matter what time of day is it.

"It smells so yummy!" Yuta smiled with glee.

"I'm almost done, you can go ahead and set the table." Aki smiled and rubbed his hair.

"Okay!" Yuta set up the table, while his mom was fixing his plate. Yuta always enjoys helping his mom out as best as he can, since he understands how much time she works and making sure they live a comfortable life. There were times he would get teased by other kids, because he doesn't have a father around, but he tried his hardest to not let it get to him. He has seen his mom getting judgmental looks from other parents.

"Thanks mommy for breakfast." Yuta said and started eating.

"You're welcome, hun. Eat up." Aki smiled.

Aki's POV:

~Afternoon~

~ At work ~

"Morning, Mika!" I looked up and saw Sara greeting me. She became a close friend of mines since I started working at Kenton, I wasn't exacting approachable since I kept my guard up due to everything that's been going on, but she was the only one that was nice to me, it's sad that I can't risk giving her my real name.

"Morning, Sara." I smiled back.

"Today is going to be killer, the boss said he is having an important meeting today with some other well-known company. He's been getting on my case about it all day." Sara sighed.

"Do you know which company it is?" I asked.

"The Arcadia Movement." Sara answered.

"Arcadia Movement?"

"It's a place for people who have special gifts. It's like a school for people who were rejected, because they're unique, I think it's great that they are helping people who don't have anyone to turned to." Sara smiled. I couldn't agree more, but still I don't want anyone to find out about my "gift" I've learned that the hard way.

"It's already almost 12:30, let's go get some lunch. I'll pay!" Sara smiled.

"Sure." I smiled.

~ Lunchtime ~

"Here is your cheeseburger and fries, and a large soda. And, here's your Tamago sando with a salad, and tea." A waiter smiled and gave us our meal.

"Thank you so much. It looks so good." I smiled.

"Hope you ladies enjoy." The waiter bowed and left.

"He's really cute. You should get his number." Sara laughed and ate her sandwich, while I almost choked on my burger turning red.

"Sara, you can't just say stuff like that in public." I blushed from embarrassment. I love her like she's my sister, but she does like to embarrass me.

"Oh come one. When was the last time you actually went on a date?" She asked, drinking her tea.

"Come on Sara, you know I don't have time for dates. I have a job and a child to take care of, besides no guys here want to date someone like me." I explained. Most places I go, guys my age looks at me with disgust when they see me with my son. They're worse than older people.

"That's not true. I wish people would stop being assholes to you, everyone has a reason why they're a single parent. People need to get over it." Sara explained.

"You're right about that part. I don't know it's just I don't want random men around my life with a child involved, I don't want to be that selfish parent." I explained, eating my fries. "Plus, I'm not pretty enough."

"Don't be that way, Mika! You are beautiful and you have an amazing figure, you just got to have more confidence in yourself. I know how about we go out later tonight, at a club!" Sara said, eating her salad. It has been some time since I went out.

"But, what about Yuta? He isn't old enough to stay alone." I asked.

"I can have my parents watch him! You know they adore him! Come on it will be fun, please?!" Sara begged, with stars in her eyes.

"Fine, I'll go. But, we are not going to stay so late since we still have work in the morning." I said.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah don't worry have I ever made you doubt me." Sara beamed.

'More than I can count.' I smiled nervously.

Author's POV:

"Yeah that's her all right." A man whispered in his phone, while secretly looking at Aki. "I recognize those amber eyes anywhere."

"Did you get anymore information about her?" A guy asked on the other line.

"Apparently, she works at this fancy company called, Kenton and she goes by the name Mika." The man answered.

"Oh really?"

"Here's the kicker, she has a son. A six year old." The man said. The other end of the line, the guy was caught off guard from the information.

"A what?"

"Yeah, she's got a kid." He started typing on his computer. "His name is Yuta and he has his mother's eyes, but he looks just like you boss. I didn't know you and her had a kid together."

'Neither did I.' Yusei thought. "Make sure to keep an eye on them and let me know the location of the club she's going to, Roko."

"I will, sir." Roko hanged up.

~ At the Satellite ~

Yusei looked at an old photo of him and Aki at the local park on their first date. He caressed the photo of Aki with his thumb and sighed, and carefully placed the frame back on his dresser. After she left, he's been trying his best to find her, but since she changed her name it made the search harder for him.

To him it was a miracle that a person who worked for him, decided to have a bite at the same place she was at with her coworker. He felt like this was his second chance to make everything right for Aki and now that he knows she has a son...his son it makes him more determined to find her, and they can become a happy family something he always wanted with her.

'Finally, everything I've been wanting for the last six years is now coming to me. This time I'll make sure she never gets away from me again.' Yusei thought. He looked at the time and decided to prepare himself when he goes to Domino City to see Aki again and take her back with him, along with Yuta.
