Imagine if Cinder Never Killed Pyrrha. If Yang never lost her Arm. If Ruby chose to stay home instead of going to Mistral. This series are a "What If?" scenario. If one choice was made differently than the one in the main series. To show the consequences of some of these new choices. Now. enjoy reading. And ponder the question...What If? 1. Prologue

What If? - A RWBY Anthology Series

"...The multiverse...an endless concept...of endless possibilities."

In a bright room, surrounded by what looks like deep space, a hooded man sits. He stares at multiple screens, each containing the World of Remnant.

"Where 1 single choice could branch out into infinite realities...creating alternate worlds, different to the Prime world."

A screen then shifts to show Ruby Rose in Vale, fighting Roman Torchwick's henchman.

"One world. Where one single mistake..."

After defeating the henchmen, Ruby quickly turns around. Only yo see the end of Torchwick's cane. The man himself chuckles.

"Can lead to a fatal outcome."

Another screen shows Weiss Schnee. She is lying on the ground, unconscious. She had been knocked out by the White Fang Lieutenant on the train.

"One world...where if a friend never intervened..."

The White Fang Lieutenant revs up his chainsaw weapon and strikes.

"There would only be pieces left of her."

Another screen then shows Blake Belladonna is in Mistral, giving Sun Wukong a kiss on the cheek.

"One world...where her lies..."

Sun's face goes to chock as he looks down to see a dagger plunged into his abdomen. He looks up to see Blake smiling evilly.

"Show her true loyalty."

And one more screen shows Yang Xiao Long. She sees Adam Taurus taking he blade out of Blake's stomach. She screams in anger and charges at Taurus.

"One world...where instead of using her anger..."

Adam prepares to strike Yang with Moonslice. But Yang suddenly uses Ember Celica to blast backwards, barely missing Adam's attack. She then shoots a blast at Adam, sending him out of the building. Yang quickly runs to Blake and applies pressure to her wound.

"She used her head, instead."

The man stands up and walks to the screens.

"There 4 are a tiny fraction of what the Multiverse provides. Alternate worlds displaying alternate routes for the citizens of Remnant."

The man takes off his hood, showing his platinum blonde hair.

"My name...is Ozma. And I am one of many versions across the multiverse...given the task of watching these outcomes...but never to interfere. Join me...and ponder the question...What If?"
