I hope that you enjoy this Sailor Moon fanfic and I hope to be able to continue it for you guys. I haven't written for this series for a while but I hope you enjoy,

The Broken Unbreakable

Chapter One

Mamoru grinned as he looked at his beautiful Usako whilst she slept. It wouldn't be long now until the next part of their journey began and he would have their princess born into this world. He thought about the Chibi Usa he had known, they would be different, a baby who would warm up to his hands and his touch. He couldn't wait to meet her and hold her and actually be a father not as Endymion but as Mamoru.

He saw Usagi shift uncomfortably and wondered whether it was due to her being eight months pregnant. She really did struggle to get herself at ease some nights but they both knew how important the daughter inside of her was.

"I wish I know how to make it better, Usako," he whispered to her before dimming the light. He didn't need a lot of light on a night like this, all he really wanted to do was see her and watch her and look over her. He knew that she would be meeting with her friends today or at least with Makoto and Mina who were supposed to be helping her with her new career of being a fashion designer.

It suited her. It was creative and was about promoting happiness and joy and bringing out the best in people. She had been taking classes for it and really enjoying it and she had her friends supporting her as well. Maybe they could provide better for her than he could. He always seemed to find some way to mess up and he hated to be the cause of her tears.

"M-M-Mamo-k-kun," Usagi whispered as she grabbed hold of a pillow and broke down sobbing whilst remaining in her dream. Mamoru pulled her body towards his but felt a sharp pain in his chest as he did so. He frowned as he tried to brush away that thought but as Usagi reached out for him, he felt a coldness that scared him. It was like the coldness he'd felt at the most dire points of his life, a coldness like the one he had initially felt when he had protected Usagi from Beryl and the Dark Kingdom.

But, they hadn't had to fight against those dark powers for months now and why was it coming from his wife, the person he loved above everyone else. Ignoring the pain, he tried to soothe her. He knew how dreams and premonitions could torture you and the best thing to do would be to get through this together. "Usako," he whispered and saw her blink her eyes open and she stared at him before jumping back from the bed alerting Mamoru to her belly. She shouldn't be moving this quickly or this suddenly whilst being this pregnant.

"Usako," Mamoru said as he got up from the bed and went over to where she was at the side of the room with her arms wrapped around herself. He came closer to her wanting to make sure that she was okay. If there was something that was haunting her then they could work it out together. Still, she just turned from him and sobbed whilst wrapping her arms around herself. "Usa-" he tried again before hearing her yell.

"Get away from me! Don't touch me! Don't come near me!" she yelled and this caused Mamoru to freeze. Was she seeing him? Did she know where she was or was this some type of hypnosis or sleep demon.

Mamoru took a deep breath before looking at Usagi who had sunk onto her knees with her hair falling across her face. He frowned as he tried to figure out what to do but he didn't want to scare her. She was always so open and happy and positive that when she wasn't, he felt as if he was powerless when he needed to really dig down deep inside of him.

"Usagi," he said as he got down on his knees as well but didn't come any closer to her. "I'm going to be right here. Do you know who you are?" he asked her in a very calm and gentle manner. The very last thing he would ever want to do would be to hurt her.

She nodded as she wrapped her arms around her tighter, she had her eyes closed as she tried to get herself away from him. "Ye-Yes, Ch-Chiba Usagi. I used to be Tsu-Tsukino Usagi. I'm…I'm a student and a…I am…was…am…the moon pr-princess."

Mamoru sighed softly, at least he wasn't dealing with her thinking that she was somebody else. At least she knew that they were married and that must mean she knew that they had been married for about six months now.

"And you know who I am, right?" he asked a little nervously. She had always wanted to run to him and hug him and kiss him and touch him. There were few times when he had experienced her pushing away from him like he did right now. "Usagi. Can you look at me?" he asked, "Would I ever hurt you intentionally?"

Usagi stared at him and looked down, "Please leave. I don't…I don't want you here."

"Can you at least tell me if you know who I am?" he asked her and she nodded as she shivered more.

"You're my hu-hu-husband, Mamo-kun," she opened her eyes and Mamoru was shocked to see the fear in them. So, she knew who she was, she knew who he was, but there was still something there that was pushing him away. "You are End-Endy-mion and the best ma-man I have ever known."

Mamoru steadied himself. He wasn't sure what was going on but he hated seeing her in so much fear and pain. He stood but found that she was cowering in fear from him. What had happened. He looked out the window for a moment as if to gain strength from the moon. "Usako, you know that I love you, don't you?"

"I know, Mamo-kun," Usagi nodded and Mamoru looked to her again.

"Okay. Do you -" Mamoru put a hand over his mouth as he struggled to ask the next question, he didn't want to think of there being a possible spell or curse or demon that would make her answer this the way he dreaded. "Do you love me?" he asked knowing that her health and happiness was far more important than his own.

"I do" Usagi said as tears slid down her face and she looked up to see Mamoru there with a guilty and heartbroken expression on his face. "I love you. I love you. I love you."

"You believe me when I say that I don't want to hurt you, right?" Mamoru asked before taking a step forward towards Usagi, he reached a hand out to put it on her cheek but she flinched and stared at him as if he had taken a sword and swept it across her body. He saw her freeze and immediately stepped backwards until his back collided with the wall. He bit down hard but tried to ignore the slight pain. He was haunted by the look of fear that she was giving to him.

"I don't want…to…" Usagi said as she looked down and wrapped herself into a ball. "I don't want to hurt…" Usagi pressed her face into her arm as Mamoru felt himself die a little inside. He looked away trying to figure out what to do. The best thing was if he left the situation, right? He could leave the room and maybe if he waited downstairs she could come and talk to him.

"I'm sorry, Usako," he whispered to her before grabbing a few things and leaving the room.

In the darkness, Usagi lifted her head and stared off towards the door he had just left from. She felt the tears in her eyes again. "I don't want to hurt you, Mamo-kun."
