Achieving Goals

This story is about Rory and Logan. It begins a few weeks before their graduation from Yale. Rory, Logan, Colin, Finn, and Stephanie are all graduating in the same year. 2007. Logan wants to be forever with Rory. Rory wants to be forever with Logan. They both have goals to achieve before they can begin forever. Read along as I take you through their day-to-day activities as they work toward achieving their goals. What would a Rogan story be without its supporting characters?

Also, this story is loosely based on the characters from Gilmore Girls. I have taken some liberties. I have changed some personalities to fit my story. This is my story. I made it up. I do not own any part of the Gilmore Girls series.

The Cast of Characters:

Logan Elias Huntzburger:

Logan's family is very traditional. He was the firstborn son; so he is the heir to the Huntzburger fortune. He had an older sister, Honor. She could not be the family heir, according to the Trust Funds set up by their great-great-great-grandfather.

Mitchum Elias Huntzburger:

Father to Honor Virginia Huntzburger Chase and Logan Elias Huntzburger. Mitchum Huntzburger, the media mogul. When Mitchum took over for his father. Elias, as CEO, Huntzburger Publishing Group, owned over 300 papers across the United States. He took the company internationally.

Shira Brown Huntzburger:

Logan and Honor's mother.. Her family owns a farm in Iowa. She does not come from wealth. She trapped Mitchum into marrying her by getting pregnant with Honor. This is one of Hartford's best-known secrets. Everyone knows about it, but no one talks about it.

Honor Virginia Huntzburger Chase:

Honor is Logan's sister and daughter of Mitchum and Shira. She is married to Joshua Jerome Chase. He works in his family's business. He is a lawyer.

Colin Alexander McCrea:

Colin was the second son of Andrew McCrea and the late Pennye Wertheimer McCrea. Andrew is a senior partner and CEO of McCrea International Law. Penny's family owns Chanel. Colin was not named as the heir, but his future was laid out in front of him. He is to follow in his father's footsteps. Just like his older brother. Colin's mother passed away when he was born. His father was on his 4th wife by the time Colin entered High School.

Stephanie Vanderbilt:

Stephanie is the granddaughter of Gloria Vanderbilt. Her father, William Vanderbilt, is the heir to the Vanderbilt fortune. Her father made sure Stephanie was the heir apparent. He did not want Stephanie to go to college to get her MRS degree.

Griffin Morgan Jr

Finn is the son of Griffin Morgan Sr. and Priscilla Rothschild Morgan. The Morgan side of the family owns The Morgan International Hotel Chain and the Rothschild side of the family owns The De Bortoli vineyard in Australia.

Lorelai Leigh Gilmore:

Rory is the daughter of Lorelai Victoria Gilmore and Christopher Straub Hayden. She was raised by her mother in a small town outside of Hartford, Stars Hollow. This town, as many towns do, has its quirks. For some reason, this town stands out. In her sophomore year of high school, she was accepted into the very prestigious preparatory school in Hartford, Chilton. Her mother borrowed money from her parents to pay for this school. This started the relationship with her Gilmore grandparents, that Rory would come to cherish.

Lorelai Victoria Gilmore:

Lorelai is the daughter of Richard Gilmore and Emily Johnson Gilmore. She left the comforts of her parents' home in Hartford society to move to a small town, Stars Hollow, to raise her daughter. She started working as a maid and worked her way up to management. She now owns an Inn with her best friend and Chef, Sookie St. James Bellville.

Christopher Straub Hayden:

Christopher is the son of Supreme Court Justice Straub Hayden and Francine Millwood. He was in and out of Rory's life until she entered college. He has another daughter, Gigi. There is a 19-year difference in his daughter's ages. After drifting in and out of Rory's life, he settled down. He is now a lawyer at his own firm.

Richard Gilmore:

Richard is the CEO of Gilmore International Insurance. His family can be dated back to England. He is Lorelai's father and Rory's grandfather.

Emily Johnson Gilmore:

Emily is the 2nd granddaughter of the founding partner of Johnson and Johnson. She is Richard's wife and takes pride in managing his social life. She is mother to Lorelai and grandmother to Rory.
