" Where am I?"
15-year-old Ben Tennyson cousin of Hero Greatest Hero Gwen 10 looks around what seems to be the earth that has been devastated from a possible battle. He sees devastated, with many unknown heroes lying dead on the ground.
Ben asked," What happened here?"He looked around with a concerned expression as he sees the devastation.
Then the world around changes to many different images of worlds filled with heroes being swallowed up in the red horizon making Ben freak out.
Ben asked," What the hell going!" He looked around trying to find answers about what happening.
" The Crisis!"
Ben jumped in fear as he sees an English man wearing a fancy suit withholding a cane looking at Ben with a jolly look on his face.
Ben looked at the English men with caution as he gets a Professor Paradox-like vibe from the man.
The man stated," I am not like this Paradox person young Benjamin." He looked at Ben who takes a step back.
Ben asked fearfully," How do you know my name?" He looked at the unknown man or was disguised as a man.
The man stated," I am not here to harm you Benjamin for I am in dire need of your assistance." He looked at Ben who looked stunned at the man as he heard what he has said.
Ben asked,' Y-You need my help? Sir, don't you think you got the wrong Tennyson?" He looked at the unknown man.
The man said," I believe I got the right Tennyson as I have been observing your earth and I am disgusted with your cousin in regards to being a hero. From damaging buildings, not offering to clean up her mess, and doing it for fame sickens me." He wrinkled in disgust thinking about the so-called Great Gwen 10.
Ben nodded his head in agreement as recalled Gwen looking eager to be around the paparazzi rather than making a difference.
Gwen also lusts to be on television, even when they were younger.
Ben thought," Perfect Gwen can do no wrong." He snorted at that thought as Gwen made so many mistakes he can write a book about them.
The man stated," Besides this problem doesn't take place in your universe, but my multiverse." He sees Ben look confused by his statement-making the man chuckle.
Ben asked," Are you an alien?" He looked at the English man with narrowed eyes as he takes a stance.
The man chuckled," Well, I am not native to your universe, but I am from any galactic." He throws Ben for a loop.
Ben asked," Then who are you? What are you? What do you need me for" He looked at the man with a curious expression?
The man said," Well, young Benjamin I have numerous names but call me The Presence and I am God from where I am from. " He sees Benjamin is looking at the new named revealed The Presence with a stunned expression.
The Presence said," To answer your last question about what I need you is that something coming in my Muitverse and I have selected to become a herald." He see Ben looked taken back.
Ben asked," Herald? My lord, I believe you have the wrong guy. Shouldn't I be bowing towards you? He begins to bow towards the amused godlike being.
The Presence said," No, I believe I found the perfect herald." He looked a the bowing the youth who looked up at him with disbelief.
Ben stated," Sir, there is nothing special about me. I am not super smart, I can't use mana nor do I have a watch that transforms me into million of aliens." He felt the god before selecting the wrong person as a herald.
The Presence stated, "Ben you do not have those things, but you have several things Gwen's lacked." He gets the young man's attention as he perked up.
Ben asked," WHat is it?" He looked at God with a curious expression on his face.
The Presence said," You have humility, a sense of right or wrong, and a burning desire for justice." He uses his powers to force Ben to stand up and he levitates Ben up in the air then the Presence glows.
The Presence cried," Benjamin Kirby Tennyson you have been selected to become a herald to me!" The gods glowed gold and he fired it at Ben who let out a surprised scream.
Ben was engulfed by a golden pillar of light, then his eyes turned gold and he felt his subconscious leaving his body.
Ben's subconscious takes him to a black void and he looks around in confusion on his face when he hears an unknown voice.
"In the beginning, there was only one. A single black infinitude. Then the infinitude found release, and, finally, the darkness broke, filling it with life in the multiverse. Every existence is multiplied by possibility. And spread out before space and time in infinite measure. Civilizations rose and fell. And rose again across reality's grasping expanse. Lise. Life. A precious gift persevering in the face of every obstacle, until, finally, the age of heroes was born."
Ben's subconscious takes him to earth in a city called Gotham where he sees a man is sitting on a park bench reading the "Gotham City Gazette" with the headline "Batman Captures Joker".
Ben's subconscious takes him to another earth in New Gotham where Ben sees a tall woman with dark hair dressed in all black with a long black trench coat is running from rooftop to rooftops while trying to speak with someone through her earpiece. She is desperately trying to get a hold of Oracle, who through the static communication insists she is sending all relative information.
Ben asked," What is this?" He asked him as his subconscious dragged him to another earth.
Ben sees on another earth a young man named Harry Hawke wearing a form-fitting, leather bodysuit and an accented hood. The suit was a dark, deep shade of green. He is fighting a swarm of thugs in the city of New Jersey with a bow and arrow.
"Chaos. The constant enemy of life kept at bay by champions from across the multiverse."
Ben's mind takes him to space where he sees a young, athletic Caucasian male with black hair, green eyes, wearing a dark green domino mask to hide his identity, and a green and black costume the torso and shoulders are green, while the legs, arms, and armpits are black. The forearms and hands of his costume are white, the feet green. The Green Lantern Corps symbol is on his chest.
Ben's subconscious takes him to an alternate version of Belwood where he sees a young woman with a slender yet muscular build with blue eyes and blonde hair with unkempt bangs. Her hair is long, running down her back, wearing a strapless red bustier held up by a brace of gold resembling an eagle with a star. She has a gold belt with a star on it and blue briefs with white stars on the side. She has blue pants and red boots with white stripes on the front that turn into wings at the top. She also wears her silver bracelets of submission on her wrists, her golden tiara with a red star on her forehead, her golden lasso which hangs from her belt when not used, and her sword and shield which stay on her back when not in use.
Ben sees an alternate version of himself with an Omnitrix holding hands, smiling at each other.
Ben thought," Strange." He looked at the image again before being taken to another world.
Ben is taken to another world in a country called Britannia seeing a young man dressed like a Bat leading an army.
Ben's subconscious is taken to a New York City, where he sees a young man with black hair, blue eyes in a photo booth and he ripped off his shirt revealing a shirt with an S symbol.
Ben's subconscious dragged him to another earth where he sees a red blur running down the streets.
" This is just the beginning young Benjamin and it's time for you to wake up!"
Ben wakes up in his room and he shot up with an alarmed look on his face. Ben sees a strange box on the floor of his room with a note on the top of the boxes.
Ben asked," Where did that come from?" He looked at the box with a confused expression on his face, then he covered his mouth in shock as heard his voice get a bit deeper.
Ben gets out of his bed and he notices his clothes are hanging off him making him go to his mirror where he has a well-built body ( not a bodybuilder type, but a balanced build.) He looked at himself in the mirror noticing his skin had gotten a bit darker.
His green eyes have a bit of glow with them and his hair turned black as the night sky, making the young man stare at his reflection in awe.
Ben said," Wow I looked different." He looked at his news face in the mirror ignoring the box from the Presence.
Ben's thoughts about the offer from the unknown being or God called The Presence about becoming his herald for an event that will take place in the Presence's wonders about this so-called " Crisis".
Ben thought," That note should be able to help me." He made his way to the box and he see the note on the top.
Ben grabbed it and he begins reading the note from whoever left the box in his room.
Dear Benjamin
I apologize for forcing your subconscious to wander my Muitverse but I wanted to show you the heroes of my multiverse for a reason. By the time you wake up, you will notice your appearance has been altered a bit due to me changing your DNA bit. You have become part of a race called The Monitor. I left you information about the Monitor race and their abilities. In the box will be materials for you shortly.

Ben said," I wonder what is inside of the box." He made his way towards the bow with a curious expression on his face.
The ignored and average member of the Tennyson Family has been given a greater duty, but the question is will he rise to be greater than Gwen or will he fail.
Note: Here is the first chapter of my Ben 10 story and it wherein Gwen 10 Universe where Ben becomes a Herald to the Dc's version of One above all. Ben became part of the Monitor's race and he has gotten his first taste of the DC multiverse. What should be in the box in Ben's room? You got any ideas for this story then pm me under ideas.
