I'm back with a new Beyblade story!

I've had this idea for far too long so now I'm sharing for everyone to read. The title of the story will make sense eventually but now for a while yet.

Any feedback would be appreciated but not expected.

Anyway I hope you enjoy the story xx

Prologue

After the turbulent and destructive battle between Tyson and Brooklyn, peace once again began to settle. Boris and Hiro, who had escaped after the battle, were found within hours and detained. Their trial was the first of it's kind, involving a jury contained of all the world leaders, who all used knowledge of their own laws to determine their sentence. A sentence of life imprisonment under a new style of guard and under new laws created solely for criminals who's focus was the same as Boris and Hiro's.

Far different from the usual life sentence of any country, they were put into a purpose built facility that would always be moving, undetectable to any radars or modern technology. It was so highly advanced even the world's top escape artists and prison designers couldn't find an escape. Even the guards had to be just as ruthless, willing to devote their lives to it's purpose and forfeiting any attachments to the world. With no known public knowledge or even leaked knowledge, rumours spread globally about the facility and it's guards. But 2 names struck throughout, Pandora's Hell and the Shadow Guards. So soon enough, thoughts of the facility and the fear of Boris & Hiro faded out to nothing.

In the meantime, the dynamics of Beyblade Tournaments changed, with new rules put in to avoid such an incident occurring again. The teams that had dominated the world championships each year were given their own tournament known as the 'Legends Battle Royale' and to make it into the new tournament as a new group you had to match the skill levels and power of the teams that inspired it's creation, with or without a championship title. It was the world championships of them all but that 'Legends Battle Royale' was the only way for the original teams to compete without risk of destroying stadiums or it's surroundings. New Rules made it impossible to risk their own lives and others, but also stop a battle before anything risked a battle on the same calibre as Tyson and Brooklyn's. It left the teams to discover and create new ways to battle that contained them and also took them to new heights. A task that was proving difficult even with Kenny and Judy teaming up to find a solution.

Everyone stayed in their teams for a further 4 years, with BBA Revolution holding their reign as the 'Kings of Beyblade'. But whilst they remained in their teams, they began to change and develop an interest in careers outside of Beyblade with BBA Revolution taking the lead.

Tyson was becoming more serious despite being the most excitable. Despite Hiro's betrayal, he was still positive about life and his temper had been reigned in. As he paid more attention to his father's work, the dojo and his Grampa's teachings, he started to have ideas of combining it with Beyblade eventually.

Max was still child-like but just as serious. He still focused on the fun side of things whilst helping at his dad's now world famous shop due to stocking Kenny exclusive parts. However he had ideas of combining both his dad and mom's sides of the Beyblade business.

Ray was expected to return to China, marry Mariah and take on teaching & leading the village as they had always done. He was expected to further their village but adhere their values but he knew the village needed to modernise so it wouldn't hinder their future. He also knew marriage should be a choice, not an obligation and he was no longer in love with Mariah. Due to all of this, he stayed in Japan with plans to instil the village teachings into his career choice.

Daichi was still in education. Thanks to Stanley, his village and family were now prospering and eased his worry about putting them on the map. He was free to explore his options, getting help from the BBA who already had given him possible career paths in and out of Beyblade. Ryuu and Tyson treated him as family, supporting him throughout.

Kai was still a lone wolf but had softened. His future was already lined up and with his grandfather rotting in prison, the family company resorted to a temporary CEO until he could inherit the company at 25 as per his father's will. That didn't stop the temp consulting with Kai about the progression of the company but he was keeping the majority of his ideas to himself.

Hilary changed the most. Her mother disappeared surrendering her parental rights not long after the trial, leaving a void in the girl. Her temper cooled and became more reserved unless something 'flipped her switch'. Her father asked the boys to watch her and stay wary of her mother. They thought they were doing a good job until her behaviour changed again when her father re-married. The cold, secretive, obsessive person was a stark contrast to the happy, fiery girl they once knew even if she was still soft on them. Her only goal was finding her mother.

The combination of Hilary's change and slow progress of Beyblade tournaments, led the team and their friends decided to leave the spotlight for a few years and start developing their own careers, whilst giving the new generation a chance to catch up and build their skills. Hilary had been uncharacteristically furious about the decision until they explained their logic and they got the old Hilary back for a short time.

Fangirls around the world rioted and started petitions. It was becoming out of hand until the boys held a press release, explaining everything and their goals, asking them to support the new teams and announcing they'd return for 1 more tournament when they could truly show they could progress without consequence. The mania calmed and for once they were able to relax without the media following as they travelled around the world as a bit of a tour.

They kept it quiet that Daichi would return to Japan before them for school and that Hilary would also return, having opted to stay with Daichi and find work to fund the search for her mother. The boys expected it but quickly forgot their disappointment. Her random travels had helped them manage themselves in the past, so the quick adapting came as no surprise to anyone. And they were enjoying their new freedom fully, taking in the experiences and knowledge around them, their ideas becoming clearer.

10 months later, Ryuu and Stanley couldn't believe these were the same boys that had left. They were becoming men with clear goals to strive for. All they needed was a little more guidance which Stanley was all too glad to give, considering the bad news he had for them. Hilary had left, disappeared without a trace. Stanley had exhausted all his resources when Daichi had found out she was missing but there was no trace of her anywhere. If it hadn't been for Daichi finding her apartment empty as if she had never lived there besides a photo of her and her mother with a note saying 'I will come back', they wouldn't have known she had a plan to return at all.

They boys were disappointed but again expected it after the numerous searches she had done already. So the boys moved on, Kai and Ray found a flat to move to despite Ryuu's invitation to stay indefinitely. But the 2 boys had their reasons. The dojo could only hold so many people and with so many friends around the world, eventually they would need more space for everyone and the 'mini-mansion' would offer privacy the dojo didn't. It also meant their concerns for Hilary and their future were kept between them so the others could remain happy. They both knew it was only a matter of time before another challenge came their way but like the rest of the team, they wanted to look forward to the brighter aspects for once.

That's it for now.

I felt a prologue was needed for this one so that there was a bit of backstory before we got into the main story.

Anyway, thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it.

Next update will be on: 21st August

Until next time xx
