A/N Welcome one, welcome all, to the kind of anticipated sequel to The Fall of Pravda! ~insert scattered, half hearted applause~ It's been some time since we last saw our heroes, recovering from the infiltration of Pravda High School, and triggering the overthrow of Katyusha. Coming up is Snowdrift's rebound, with an Operation that intends to destroy those responsible. The fate of three schools hangs in the balance. Who will come out on top?

I'm not good at writing intros.

Anyway, without further ado, take it away, Katyusha!

The death toll of the Conglomerate attack in Aomori earlier this week has now passed two hundred. Many are believed to have been civilians caught in the crossfire, while most of the casualties were students of Pravda High School.

...the Bay Bridge almost collapsed. A few buildings around the school entrance did...including my shop…

Rumors speculate that the attackers escaped via a submarine that surfaced in the bay. Descriptions of the craft vary, and there is little proof of its existence, but the belief of it belonging to Saunders University remains, as an Ohio class submarine was recently purchased by the American-influenced school.

Several eyewitnesses reported a helicopter bearing striking resemblance to the FA 223 belonging to Kuromorimine Girls Academy flying to and then away from the Kiev. The Headmaster of Kuromorimine Academy could not be reached for comment.

Evidence of an infiltration seems obvious, as the bodies of two Pravda students were found in the water below the ship.

A new group has risen up from the revolution aftermath, calling themselves 'The Order of Katyusha'. Katyusha herself disappeared from Pravda following the attack and is wanted for questioning in her role in the practice match accident last month.

Many students from Pravda are leaving the school for unknown reasons, but most speculate it is to join Katyusha's new group. While most allied with her have left, Conglomerate activity continues around the city, leaving Pravda High School leaderless… In other news, there has been a sudden spark of disappearances and apparent kidnappings at Bell Wall Academy. While the two schools have close ties, the events do not appear to be connected.

'The Order of Katyusha' has continued to elude authorities from the Sensha-Do Federation. While rumors fly, their location remains unknown…

Many believe that representatives from Saunders University, Kuromorimine Girls Academy and Ooarai Girls Academy should give statements on the current situation. Other than the Ooarai Student Council and Sensha-Do team giving thanks to the Federation and to the Frost Conglomerate for their aid in the investigation, no further word has been given.

Five months later…

A quiet snoring broke the silence of one of the dorms. Kay, commander of the Saunders University Sensha-Do team, peacefully slumbered as the morning passed by. Being Saturday, there was little to wake up for, other than practice later that afternoon. Being team commander had its perks, one of which being when and where practice was held. One of the first things Kay did after taking command was move Saturday practice to the afternoon. Parties frequently took place on Fridays, and Kay rarely missed one, be it a birthday, a holiday, even if there was no reason at all.

There was also the Saturday morning meetup with her friends Naomi and Alisa, but Kay being Kay...

A loud knocking on her door rudely interrupted the commander's sleep, but she tried to ignore it, sluggishly raising a hand and waving it at the doorway.

"Ten more minutes…" She wanted to say, which came out as a quiet mumbling as she slowly nodded off again.

Or she would have if not for the knocker suddenly jiggling the handle and pushing on the locked door.

Kay's eyes snapped open and her head perked up as the loud banging continued. She slowly rolled out from under the covers and sat up, picking up her phone and forcing her blurry eyes to focus on the bright screen. The lock screen of the device was a group photo of the various school commanders after their victory against All-Star University, which could be made out after Kay clumsily dismissed a number of text messages and other notifications. In the center, just above Ooarai's Miho Nishizumi's head, was the time.

07:49

"What the hell, man?"

The previous night had been quite long, yet unfortunately did not involve any partying or a certain rival school commander whom she was smitten with. Most of her night was spent elbow deep in the engine of her Sherman, and she didn't finish her work until the early morning. Kay had only gotten a few hours of sleep, and had been looking forward to getting more.

"I'm comin', I'm comin'." Kay muttered loudly after another knock, clumsily pulling on a shirt. "Don't break my door down, please." The commander sleepily rubbed her eyes and shuffled to her door, unlocking and opening it to find two girls in Saunders uniforms.

She didn't look up at their faces, assuming that it was simply Naomi and Alisa about to chastise her about sleeping the day away, even though the day had barely started.

"Howdy, girls." Kay said with a loud, drawn out yawn, rubbing her eyes again. "Look, I... sorry for oversleeping again, but I had a late night, so… just give m-"

She was cut off by one of the girls kicking the door in, which violently pushed Kay back into the room and onto the floor.

"Ow! What… what the Hell-ah!" One of the girls grabbed Kay by her shirt and tried to pick her up, only to be pushed away and tumble into the Commander's desk. Several items fall to the floor, including the flatscreen computer monitor. The second intruder closed in on Kay, who kicked her back into the wall mounted mirror, shattering it.

"Get away from me! What's this about?!"

Her attackers ignored Kay's demands, continuing their attempts to subdue her, which further ransacked the already messy room. Squirming out from under one of the girls, the commander reached for her phone, which had fallen to the floor, and was loudly ringing. The device was pushed away by someone's foot, which also kicked Kay in the hand and made her fall.

"Hey! Somebody!" Kay cried, hoping somebody in the building might hear. "I -omf! I need he- aow! Get offa me! I… help-ACK!"

Eventually, one of the girls gained the upper hand, pinning Kay in a sleeper hold.

"Okay, okay! Stop! I'll-augh! I'll do what you want! I'll-rk… gah!" Terrified and confused, the commander frantically tugged on the girl's arms, her vision and strength quickly fading.

"No fair! I tapped! I…uhg… "

Kay twitched and squirmed one last time before going limp, her world falling to darkness.

The pair of attackers wordlessly collect themselves and quickly bind Kay up, blindfolding her and putting a cloth over her head. One picked her up in a fireman's carry, while the other closed Kay's door and guided her companion to the exit.

"Hey! What are you doing?" Someone down the hall shouted. The girls froze when they saw a pair of Saunders students in front of them. Thinking quickly, the girl carrying the commander came up with an idea.

"Shh!" She hissed. "It's a prank!...Darjeeling's idea!"

The students glance to each other for a moment, likely recalling the many pranks Kay had been the orchestrator of in the past. They nodded and smiled devilishly.

"Alright then." One said.

The infiltrators quickly passed the two and made it to their extraction in the boat hangar without incident. They loaded Kay into their boat and sped off, disappearing into the foggy bay.

"Good thinking. That ought to slow them down."

A few minutes later...

"Kay is always late to our morning meetings." Alisa said in an annoyed tone as she and Naomi navigated the halls to their friend's dorm room. She stowed her phone after the sixth missed call. "Maybe we should move them to Sundays…"

"She was in the garage until late." Naomi pointed out. "She probably overslept… again."

Moments later they reached the door, which Alisa quickly and loudly knocked on.

"Kay!" She called out between raps. "Kay get up! And pick up your phone for once, while you're at it! It's Saturday! You know… when we meet up for coffees? Were you up all night again?"

"Is that… a boot print?" Naomi asked. Sure enough, near the center of the door, there was a small partial shoe print surrounding a crack in the wood. The pair shared a confused glance, before Alisa tried the door handle. The door squeaked open, revealing a room that looked like a tornado went through it.

"Kay!" Alisa cried. Her companion quietly whistled with awe.

"What the hell happened in here?"

Alisa ran throughout the apartment in a futile attempt to find their commander, looking in the bathroom, the closets, even under the bed, all with no luck.

"Do you think she was… kidnapped?"

"Who on Earth would kidnap Kay?" Naomi asked.

"Darjeeling, apparently." Said a voice. Alisa looked into the hall to see two girls nosily peeking into the room.

"Ehh?" She demanded.

"We saw a couple of girls carrying Kay to the boat deck." One of the students explained as she leaned against the door frame. "They said Darjeeling wanted to prank her. Staged kidnapping by the looks of it."

"If this was staged, they did a damn good job." Naomi observed, looking around again. Kay's room was a mess… even more so than usual. Her computer was destroyed, the nightstand toppled, bed askew, and her wall mounted mirror in pieces on the floor.

Suddenly, somewhere in the room, a tiny speaker began emitting music, followed by a rhythmic vibrating.

Its ladies night

And girl the feeling's good

Oh yes! Its ladies night

And the feeling's right

The music continued as Alisa dug Kay's phone out of a pile of clothes.

"Who is it?" Naomi asked.

Oh yes! Its ladies night

Oh, what a night

Oh what a ni-

The ringtone stopped when Alisa swiped the phone icon, confusion mounting, and raised the device to her ear.

"Darjeeling?" She asked, bewildered.

"Oh, Arisa-san. Ohayo Gozaimasu. Is Kei there?"

A puzzled look crossed the girl's face. "You tell us."

"I'm sorry?"

"A couple of your girls just left with her. I have to say, it's very convincing. You had us for a minute there."

"What… I… ? I'm sorry I don't follow…"

Alisa's smug expression vanished in an instant. "So… this isn't a prank?"

"If it is, I know nothing about it. Kei asked me to give her a wake-up call, thanks to a late night last night."

Alisa looked around at the girls in the room, gesturing to the phone. "Guess who? She doesn't know anything." She raised the phone again. "Well… Kay isn't here. And her room is ransacked. Something fishy is going on here."

"Not there? Ransacked? Goodness… What happened?"

"That's what we're trying to figure out."

Naomi stepped past her companion and looked around at Kay's bed for a moment. On a hunch, she softly rested the back of her hand on the spot just in front of the pillow. Sure enough, where Kay would have been was recently slept in.

"Her bed is still warm." Naomi announced, looking at the growing gathering of students. "She was just here."

Out in the hallway, one of the girls looked around for a moment, her eyes finally landing on a security camera in the ceiling down the hall.
