I own nothing you may recognize, as they are either beings from Mythology, Rick Riordan, or J.K. Rowling.

AN: This is part of the Greater Wood-Between-Worlds massive crossover which I am working on.

The first adventure of Harry Potter in the worlds of Mythology, which will eventually become the Adventures of Percy Jackson and friends.

This first chapter consists of the Vanir/Aesir War, and has none of the Riordan Characters, and Harry is going by Haraldr, but will change in later chapters, including the next one fyi.

Darker Harry in this chapter, after the pattern of God of War Kratos.

8000 BC, Halls of Vanaheim

"Freya, what are we going to do? The Aesir are gaining a ground, and while they seem to have an unlimited number of forces, we are running low on soldiers," A tall light haired man asked a woman with long blonde hair.

"I know brother, what we need right now is a champion, who is from outside of the realm," Freya said softly.

"What would you suggest then, the elves of Alfheim have sworn neutrality, the Giants of Jotunheim would sooner kill us all then join either side of the conflict, as would the Giants of Muspelheim, and you know the dwarves of Nidavellir would charge more than we could pay for their aide," The man said confused.

"I know all that Freyr, though you did not mention Midgard, is there a particular reason for that?" Freya asked slowly.

"The humans of Midgard are too fragile to be of any real aide, if we were to bring some to our aide, they would quickly be killed by the Aesir," Freyr said incredulously.

"But what if we blessed one, with greater strength, and chose the one as our champion, perhaps even calling the great planter to bless them," Freya said hopefully.

"The great planter has sworn to play no part in this war, but your idea may have merit, but could we find one fast enough to be able to make a difference?" Freyr said simply.

"It may be our only hope, brother, I shall go and enter Midgard and see if I can find a champion, and if I cannot in two decades time, we will surrender to the Aesir so no more of our people need die," Freya said lovingly.

"Very well, but two decades and then we will make the decision, as much as it would hurt to surrender to those magicless fools," Freyr said before with a nod Freya vanished.

15 years later, Midgard

"No, I will not allow you to touch her you bastard!" A loud voice said from inside a small hut.

"Do you not remember who I am! I am the mighty Vil brother of the King of All Gods, the mighty Odin and I will not be refused!" A second louder voice said loudly before a loud slap was heard.

"I don't care if you were the creator himself, you will not touch my mother bastard!" The first voice said before a clash was heard.

"You really think you could hurt me, human? For your insolence and attempt to hurt me, I will make you pay, I'm sure you will enjoy watching as I kill every member of your village, and leaving you alone, to starve. Yes, that does sound quite good, and even though making you watch would be more fun, I fear you would be too loud, so have a good sleep," A loud crack was heard before a young man was thrown out of the hut, head bleeding and out cold.

3 years later, Midgard.

"Why can't I find a way to get to Asgard, if they can come here, then why can't I go to where they are?" A very muscular man with black hair and emerald green eyes muttered under his breath angrily not noticing a blonde woman nearby.

"Why do you want to get to Asgard, young warrior?" The blonde woman asked as she approached him.

"Why does that concern you?" The man asked cautiously not having realized he spoke aloud.

"Well I had heard that Asgard was at war," The woman said simply.

"Serves those bastards right, hopefully they all die," The man said coldly.

"Indeed, but they are quite strong, and will probably beat their foes," The woman said sadly.

"I would go and aide the foes of Asgard if only to kill the scum that calls himself Vil," The man said coldly.

"Is that so, what if I could help you go to Asgard? Would you swear to be loyal to their foes until the war is over?" The woman asked hopefully.

"An oath is a hard thing to ask, but if it allowed me to make sure that scum died, I would do it, but no one can enter those higher realms, at least that is what the magi say," The man spat out.

"Well, I know a way to get there, if you are interested," The woman said simply.

"I am, but how would you know how?" The man said critically.

"Well my young warrior friend, I am Freya, of the Vanir, and my people are currently at war with the forces of Asgard, but we are losing, so if you are willing to make that oath, I will bless you and take you to aide in our war," Freya said hopefully.

"I am Haraldr, Vil raped and murdered my mother and then killed my entire village, before torching the earth and cursing it so nothing would grow, I will join you and your cause if only to kill that bastard," Haraldr said coldly.

"Good, then come with me," Freya said taking his hand and vanishing.

15 years later Vanaheim

"I am still amazed by your ability to find one who had so much hate for the Aesir, and the strength that Haraldr has, he has shifted the tides of battle from almost definite defeat on our part to a stalemate, though he has killed so many of the Aesir that he has become a legend," Freyr said as he sat in a tent with Freya.

"Indeed, when I found him, I was close to losing hope of finding a champion, but his skill with the ax is incredible, and his hatred for the Aesir is almost scary, had I not gotten the oath from him that he would not turn on us I would fear he may someday turn on us," Freya said before a scream that shook the land was heard causing the two to run out to the battlefield.

"How dare you filthy Vanir, kill my twin brother? I will kill you!" Vil said as he stood glaring at Haraldr.

"So, the scum finally comes out from hiding behind his 'Great King's throne, I have waited for this chance for over thirty years," Haraldr said coldly his eyes flashing.

"How dare you? I am the Great Vil, and today I shall be your executioner Vanir!" Vil said angrily.

"I am no Vanir, scum, I am Haraldr the Potter of Hamarr, which you burned to the ground after killing every man, woman, and child," Haraldr said coldly, smiling as Vil's eyes went wide in recognition.

"Impossible, no human could kill so many of my Kin, let alone Ve. No matter, I will kill you and then kill all of the Vanir, like I killed those at Hamarr," Vil said before charging Haraldr.

"Should we interfere, since the oath was based on him killing Vil, after that he could turn against us?" Freyr asked as he saw the two start to trade blows.

"I fear that if we did that he would kill us despite the oath, no I believe that he will remain loyal even if he does kill Vil, or at least I hope he does," Freya said her voice becoming more faint as she spoke, and she watched as Haraldr started to gain an upper hand over Vil.

"Mercy, mercy! I surrender, please spare me," Vil cried as he fell onto the ground.

"Why should I have mercy on you, you had no mercy for my people when they begged for it," Haraldr asked coldly as he stood above Vil.

"I can give you gifts, I can have my brother stop the war, I can ensure you are forgiven of all your crimes against Asgard, I can bring your mother back and remove the curse on the lands of Hamarr," Vil said hoping that Haraldr would spare him.

"Very well, but you will not walk away unscathed," Haraldr said as he threw his ax at Vil's arm, severing it at the elbow and also pinning him down, before he started to walk away.

"Stupid human, I will not do those things, I shall see Vanaheim burn for your impertinence, not that you shall see it," Vil said as he pulled Haraldr's ax from his arm, with his remaining arm and throwing it at Haraldr, hitting him square in the back, and severing his spine, before the entire earth started to shake.

"Vil! What have you done? He spared your life at your word, and you took the cowards' route, and have doomed us all, the Creator will not stand for this act," A Tall man with a single eye and graying hair cried out as the world began to break apart.

"He is just a human, and he killed Ve! He deserves death!" Vil cried out.

"Perhaps, but he spared your life, only for you to take his gift and use it to kill him, justice must be served or we all shall die! As King of the Aesir I proclaim that the Great Emerald Eyed Warrior of Vanir shall be held accountable for none of his crimes against the Aesir, and welcome him into the halls of Valhalla. I remove the cursing that the Prince of the Aesir Vil, placed on the lands of Hamarr and bless it to be the most fruitful of lands. As King of the Aesir, I call for a truce between my people and the Vanir, may we come and join as one people, since we are already so alike, and too much blood has already been spilt in this war, started by our Grandfathers," The Man called out, each part causing the rumbling to diminish.

"I Freyr, King of the Vanir, accept the terms of peace, which Odin King of the Aesir put in place on the conditions that the Prince of the Aesir Vil, who took the life of our champion, when it was not his life to take, shall also have his life taken and he to have no place in Valhalla," Freyr said loudly.

"Brother, you cannot be considering doing what the Vanir scum is suggesting!" Vil said in shock as the King stopped and thought.

"I Odin, King of the Aesir shall do as Freyr, King of the Vanir has demanded in order for peace to be found," Odin said before thrusting his spear through Vil's chest, and almost as sudden as Vil died the earth stopped shaking completely.

"Now the war is over, someone please go and aide Haraldr, so he might survive," Freya called out causing many on both sides to head to the middle of the battlefield where they had seen Haraldr fall only to find themselves unable to find his body, only his blood-stained ax.

"Search the realms of Valhalla, Folkvanger, and Helheim and find the body of the Emerald Eyed Warrior," Odin ordered when no one could find Haraldr's body on or near the battlefield.

25 years later, New Hall of Gods

"What news do you bring Lord Njord?" Odin asked as he saw an older man enter the Hall where he sat alongside Freya and Freyr.

"Our forces have searched from Valhalla, to Folkvanger, Helheim, and all other realms of Yggdrasil and we have not been able to find the body of the Emerald-Eyed-Warrior, and all the other races swore oaths they had not had the body either," Njord said sadly.

"At peace father, perhaps the Creator took him away for some greater purpose, what that may be, I don't know, but that is the only explanation I can think of," Freya said kindly.

"That must be the case, but let it be known that in all realms under the purview of the Aesir and Vanir, he is welcome should he be reborn once more," Freyr said to which both Odin and Freya nodded their agreement with.

AN: As stated this is part of the greater Wood-Between-Worlds crossover series, which I started to allow my mind to stay linked to one story, and yet also various stories so I hopefully don't lose my muse.

Since Harry has no innate powers that is why he was darker in this story, he will be blessed with higher powers by chaos probably in the next chapter, or at latest when he fights in the first titanomancy.

Next chapters will revolve around Egypt, before he goes to Greece.

Reviews are amazing!
