Author's Note- Hey everyone, AnotherAnonymooseWriter here. Er, you'd probably know me better as the author of this FanFic. Just before you start reading, there's some things I want to say. This is my first ever FanFic, and I'm proud that it starts with DDLC. I also want to thank my friends for supporting me throughout my writing.

Here's some things to know about the FanFic:

-Takes place in a normal world like Earth (not a game simulation)
-Monika is NOT self aware in any way, she is taking the role as the "popular girl in school"
-MC (or in this FanFic, Akihito) is a normal person from the same world as everyone else

Basically, this ain't a game, it's a normal place.

I plan on posting one chapter a day. It'll be hard, but I'll be pushing myself to reach my goal. I do plan on finishing this FanFic, so please do not leave this FanFic just because it is not marked as complete

And with that, please enjoy "Doki Doki: Two Broken Hearts" :)

BEEP BEEP BEEP

Ugh... whoever decided kids should wake up at 6AM should rot in hell. Why would you make kids get up early to go somewhere they don't even like? Eh, I can't really complain. School is mandatory and Mom wouldn't be happy if I skipped school. Welp, no use trying to delay, let's get ready for another seven cruel hours of our lives.

I get out of my bed and go straight to the restroom. First things first, gotta brush my teeth and take a shower. Looks like we're almost out of toothpaste, it's fine. I'll run to the store if I need some other stuff. Maybe I should change my toothbrush. I heard somewhere you should change it once every 3 months or something like that. I can't remember when I last changed my brush.

Stepping into the shower, I turn on the water. What the heck, we're out of shampoo? Seems like my life desperately wants me to go to the store. Like I said earlier, I'll go if there's anything important I need. For now I guess I'll go to school with dandruff in my hair.

Alright, I finished brushing my teeth and taking a shower. Now to put on some clothes. What should I wear today? The same thing I have been for my whole life obviously. Putting on my school uniform I head downstairs to get something to eat. What shall I have for breakfast today? Let's check the fridge. I'm craving for some eggs and bac-

Oh we don't have anything in the fridge. Well let's check the pantry! There should be some Pop Tar-

Are you kidding me? Nothing in the pantry either? That's it, right after school I'm going straight to the grocery store. I can't believe I didn't think about going to the store over the weekend. Well, no use crying over spilled milk. But if there was milk I would have at least handled it carefully and had some to somewhat fill my stomach. Getting off topic, focus Aki focus.

Alright, let's just eat a banana for the day. They're healthy so that's a plus. I think they're also a good stress reliever. With the amount of stress I have from school, I'll need at least 100 bananas to help it.

Ok, one last check before I head out. I brushed my teeth, took a shower, and had breakfast (if you can even call a single banana breakfast). I don't think I'm missing anything else. Wait, my homework! Gotta make sure I finished everything. There's no point in checking at this time, because I can't cram it all in 10 minutes or something. But it's worth a shot. Alright let's see here, math worksheets, history essay, science lab report, yep looks like I got it all. Now the moment I haven't been waiting for, actually getting to school.

Walking outside, the autumn breeze hits me in the face and takes me by surprise, making me shiver a little. Thankfully the coldness dies down a little. Plus this uniform has so many layers of clothing it feels like I'm in the Sahara Desert. Remembering to lock my door, I head out and start heading to school.

7 in the morning looks super weird, like something from a horror game. It's kinda dark and there's no sounds of human life that can be heard. At least I can watch the beautiful sunrise. Hopefully I can make it to school on time, I just don't want to run into anyone-

"Heeeeeeeeeey!"

Oh no.

Behind me is a girl screaming at the top of her lungs, oblivious to the attention she might draw. I can't really say anything though. That's Sayori, my best friend since childhood. When we were kids, our parents would say we were inseparable. But after high school we grew apart from each other, to the point where we never talked once. When high school first started, I was overloaded with work to the point I couldn't talk with anyone like my friends, and sometimes even my family.

I slow down and come to a complete stop. Wouldn't want to leave her hanging. I don't even turn backwards since I know who it is. I let her catch up to me. Maybe we can finally reconnect after the big gap.

"I finally caught up to you!" Sayori says between breaths.

"You know I was gonna stop for you, you didn't have to try and beat Usain Bolt's record." I sarcastically reply.

"Meanie!"

"Ah yes, I'm a meanie for slowing down. Thanks for the compliment Sayori."

"Heeey, that's not what I meant!"

"It's a joke Sayori. Heh, I guess you never change."

"Anyways, how's school going for you?"

"Oh it's going good, how about you?"

"That's good to hear! I'd say in doing good in school, although history can be a pain in the back, ehehe."

"You mean pain in the ass?"

"Uwaaa! Language, Aki!"

"Oh what the hell Sayori, we're in our last year of high school and you're still scared of swear words?"

"Hey! I'm not scared of them... I just don't like them!"

"Jesus Christ... grow up Sayori! You're telling me you've never said a swear word before?

"Yes...no...maybe... Look, we're getting off topic. So, you thinkin' of joining any clubs?"

"No not really, none of them interest me. Wait, didn't you say you were the vice president of some club?"

"Yeah, the Literature Club!"

"Out of all the things, you're in a literature club? Was the sleeping club not taking in members?

"Hey! You big meanie! The Literature Club is a great club! I really think you should join."

"Nah that stuff doesn't interest me. I'd just be lounging around in there."

"What if I told you there were cupcakes?"

Now that, that is a good way to hook me in.

"Cupcakes?"

"Yeah! You wanna join?"

"Sure, I'll give it a shot."

"Yay! Thanks Aki!"

"Yeah yeah whatever. What class is it in by the way?"

"Oh! Just tell me your last class and I'll come pick you up!"

"Uh okay. I have physics with Mrs. Yamamoto."

"Really? I have her 2nd period!"

"Wow what a coincidence!"

"Yeah it is, anyways after class today I'll come pick you up and we'll walk to the club together, okay?"

"Sure."

And with that we arrive at school. Suddenly I remember something that might help me and Sayori bond again.

"Sayori wait!" I call out to her.

She turns around and runs back to me.

"What is it Aki?"

"Well uh, I was just wondering if uh..."

"Yeah?"

"If you wanted to uh..."

"Come on Aki, I don't have all day!"

"Alright alright! I was just wondering if you wanted to walk home with me after school since we're in the same club now!"

"Really? You'd do that?"

"Of course, why would I miss an opportunity to catch up with my best friend?"

"Aww you're so sweet Aki. Well I need to get back to class now, see ya later Aki!"

"See ya!"

Alright that worked out well. I got the courage to ask Sayori if she wanted to walk back home, and she said-

Wait, what did she say? Crap, she never said yes or no!

I hope she says yes...
