Eclipsa Queen of the Blood Moon

Author's note: this story is based on the concept presented by Reptile edge. Read his Eclipsa. queen of blood and darkness for a far better version of this story. I plan to run this story on the weeks I don't update my return of the binders story. I will tell you this I am playing fast and loose with the canon. I also add stuff from materials like war hammer, vampire the masquerade, and the granddaddy of them all Dracula.

Down the crystalline corridors Rhombulus ran.

The crystal keeper of the magic high commission was sweating bullets. His heart was racing and he dare not look back.

He could swear that he saw her in every shadow that caught his eye.

He was almost there. He just had to reach his mirror then he could contact the high commission.

He quickened his pace and tripped over rock. He picked himself up but froze dead in his tracks when he heard a distant chuckle echo off his crystals.

"No, no no no, have to get to the mirror. I need to warn the commission." he raced down the hall and approached the chamber where his mirror and dimensional scissors lay waiting for him.

He was shocked to see standing in front of his mirror was a pale-skinned woman with red-eyes. She was dressed in a black sun dress and hat to match and wearing white gloves over her hands, scarred by the dark magic she dabbled in. The woman bore a wicked smile on her face. It was her… Eclipsa butterfly the fallen queen of Mewni.

Rhombulus tried to retreat but he felt his body constrict. He knew he was scared but this wasn't natural. He then felt his body jerk forward and edge closer toward the queen as he fought with every fiber of his being to resist the pull.

Each step forward filled the man with more dread. The look in Eclipsa's eyes as she drew her prey in. Her fangs showed and a wicked smile of appreciation for what she was doing crept on her face. The look on her face chilled him to the bone.

"P-please, don't do this." Rhombulus begged. But it was too late the queen pulled him into her arms and bit into his neck. Drawing blood from the magic man. He couldn't even scream as his lungs were held tightly by the queen.

After a few moments the light left his eye and the crystal headed gate keeper fell to the ground, his body limp and lifeless.

One hour later a dimensional portal appeared at the entrance to the crystal prison. Out of it came a woman with a flame between two devil horns. She wore a yellow and orange dress with red hair and pearl-white skin. She looked around with an analytical gaze.

The woman entered the prison to find it in it's same pristine shape. "Rhombulus? Where are you? You missed the high commission meeting." the meeting today was to decide on what measures needed to be taken in order to prevent future attempts on threatening the balance of magic throughout the multiverse. These are in response to the attempted destruction of magic by the monster leader Toffee the immortal had enacted only a few days ago.

If it wasn't for Star, Queen Moon, and Marco then he would've succeeded.

"Rhombulus, you better not be playing a joke." the woman said.

"Nice to see you Hekapoo… how is your dimension?" a familiar voice called from the shadows.

"Who's there?" Hekapoo asked looking around but not seeing anyone.

"You don't remember me? Well I'm hurt. Considering what you did to me… well you and my mother Solaria." the voice called and out of the shadows formed a silhouette of a woman.

"Eclipsa." Hekapoo gasped. "What are you doing out of your cell?"

"Oh, did queen Moon not tell you? She made a deal with me. The agreement was... once Toffee was vanquished I'd be released." she chuckled and the silhouette moved it's hand to it's mouth in haughty reply.

"She did what!? When?"

"Back when Toffee first raised his monster rebellion… oh so long ago." the shadow replied. "But enough talk… it's time to feed."

Out of the crystals behind Hekapoo emerged Eclipsa. A burst of crystal shards shout out toward the magic high commission member. Hekapoo summoned a bolt of fire toward Eclipsa. who dodged it with unearthly speed.

The former queen of darkness bit at Hekapoo who dodged it by the skin of her teeth.

"How are you still able to do these things? I thought the butterfly magic was purged from your body?" Hekapoo replied summoning three copies and sending them after queen.

Eclipsa then summoned the shadows of the prison to enshroud her. And the clones. The clones summoned fire and disrupted the darkness.

Eclipsa was no where in sight.

"Where are you!?" Hekapoo exclaimed.

"Right behind you." her voice echoed at Hekapoo's back.

The magic woman summoned flame and shot it toward Eclipsa. Once the gout had done it's job Eclipsa. was no where in sight.

"Nice try… you were never good with detecting illusions." Eclipsa. taunted.

The four Hekapoo clones formed a back-to-back circle watching all four corners of the prison. They paced toward Rhombulus room where he kept his mirror and dimensional scissors.

As the four Hekapoo's reached a destination Eclipsa appeared in front of them.

"Going somewhere?" she asked, smirking at her prey.

"Yeah, getting reinforcements to kick your butt. Charge!" Hekapoo ordered her clones and attacked the queen.

The queen used her inhuman speed to slash at the first clone destroying it.

The main Hekapoo jumped over the queen as she sliced at the second clone.

"Where do you think you're going." Eclipsa asked as she raced toward Hekapoo.

The queen was right on Hekapoo's heel and would have caught her if not for the fourth clone catching Eclipsa in a vise like grip.

"Run all you want you won't escape me." she yelled as Hekapoo closed the door to Rhombulus's room and blocked it with as much as she could. She panted heavily. Her throat taking in air greedily.

The feeling of relief took over her but it quickly vanished when she saw the body of Rhombulus lying on floor with puncture wounds on his neck.

"No, Rhombulus." Hekapoo started to tear up. She wiped her eyes. "Y-you will be avenged my friend."

Hekapoo ran to the mirror and uncovered the cloth from it. Her heart skipped a beat as she saw that the mirror was shattered.

A sharp pang entered her lungs as she drew in shrill breath.

"Oh no, look who ran out of options?" Eclipsa's said standing in the doorway without a single scratch or burn mark on her body or clothes.

Hekapoo stared into Eclipsa's red eyes and felt her heart beat erratically. "This isn't over!" Hekapoo tried to summon a portal but it didn't come. "What? Why can't I–"

"– Summon a portal?" Eclipsa. chuckled taking playful steps toward the spell-caster. "I may have used a bit of my power to compel your ability not to work for you."

"H-how?" Hekapoo took a step back each time Eclipsa moved forward. It wasn't long before Hekapoo's back was against the broken mirror. "I thought you didn't have any magic left? How do you still have these powers."

Eclipsa giggled at the shocked look on Hekapoo's face "A gift… from my late husband. A gift I plan on sharing with many of the denizens of the multiverse. Starting now."

"No! Stay back!" Hekapoo threw the kitchen sink at Eclipsa. Summoning hundreds of rays of fire directed at her.

The entire room was filled with smoke and the laughter of Eclipsa. Once the smoke had cleared, Eclipsa was still standing. Her entire body covered in ice. Not a single bit of it chipped or melted.

"A nice effort Hekapoo. I knew you were the right choice. Not like that idiot of a warden. What was his name again? Oh, who cares?" Eclipsa. surged forward with lightning speed grabbed Hekapoo's arms. The ice armor shedding off as the queen tackled Hekapoo.

"You d-don't h-have to do this." Hekapoo stuttered, struggling against the former queen's grasp.

"That's funny. That's exactly what he said before I drained him dry." Eclipsa laughed and the sound of a hundred dead souls screaming in pain would've sounded more comforting to Hekapoo.

"Y-you're a monster!" Hekapoo exclaimed.

"Indeed I am. I married a monster and my mother turned me into a monster. It's fitting in so many ways. Especially since the same fate awaits you."

"Wha–" before Hekapoo could ask her question, Eclipsa dug her teeth into the white neck of Hekapoo draining her of her life's blood.

It was not long before the magic high commission member went limp. Eclipsa placed her in a seated position with leaning Hekapoo on the mirror.

Eclipsa began a small chant and used a bit of the mirror's shard to prick her finger. She placed it over Hekapoo's open jaw and let a small drop of blood enter her mouth. Eclipsa. then used her power to heal herself.

"Arise and be entitled my countess." Eclipsa. commanded.

Hekapoo's eyes shot open revealing they had turned that same bright red and she breathed in a huge gulp of air. "I-i live to serve you my queen."

"Excellent, then let's leave this place. It brings back far too many bad memories." Eclipsa ordered, walking out of Rhombulus's room and headed toward the exit.

"My queen may I ask… what is the plan? Conquest? War? Revenge?"

"All of the above. First I want you to inform me of everything I missed since I was imprisoned, then we will hunt for you something to eat, then I plan to use you along with the rest of my entitled to build an army to take over Mewni and then the multiverse. But first thing's first I'll need to find my husband and child."

"My queen," Hekapoo began "isn't your Husband and daughter gone? Destroyed by your mother."

"Gone yes, destroyed no. There is a reason I have no more butterfly magic. Now let us be off. The hunt is upon us and the return of the blood moon has been foretold."

And with that the two vampire women walked out into the dark of the night and an ancient terror was released upon Mewni as well as the rest of the multiverse.
