"Okay and five six seven eight! Ugh! One more time from the top girls and at least try to look alive!" Bonnie Rockwaller whined as she led cheerleading practice.

Kim was still head cheerleader but after a mission gone wrong, she broke her leg, leaving her to sit out two months worth of practice so as the next in command, Bonnie took charge. Since she already had the girls practicing her routine for the past month, Kim decided to remain in the background and let Bonnie remain in charge. Now as Kim did a round of back tuck for like the tenth time since practice, she was regretting leaving Bonnie in charge.

The girls did the pyramid for the tenth time and it was going well until Hope yawned causing Tara and Kori to slip, followed by the other cheerleaders and ultimately Kim who was at the top.

The cheerleaders broke out in fits of screams and groans as they landed on top of each other.

"Ugh! Seriously can you guys go one time without messing up?! That's it practice dismissed. If you're all gonna take this championship like it's a joke then it makes no sense I waste anymore time here. You can all hit the showers. Get out of my sight," Bonnie said rudely.

The cheerleaders let out moans of happiness, glad to finally be able to leave cheerleading bootcamp.

All the cheerleaders, except a quirky red head, ran to the showers, immediately. Kim hung back a little. Something about Bonnie was off. Bonnie had always been a bitch, ever since Kim met her in pre k and her attitude only got worse throughout middle school and freshman year. They were now sophomores and Bonnie had become the self proclaimed Queen B of Middleton High. Even though Bonnie had never liked the red head for reasons unknown to anyone but Bonnie, Kim still tried her hardest to be nice to the brunette cheerleader, even though she wasn't nice back.

So Kim took her time in stretching, as she watched the brunette, trying to analyze what her problem was.

"Did you need something Kim?" Bonnie asked with her arms folded as she caught Kim staring at her.

"Nope just stretching. All done," Kim said and hurriedly left the gym to head to the locker room.

Upon entering, she heard the complaints of the cheerleaders.

"I swear Bonnie is my best friend and all and I love her to death but seriously she's acting like a slave master. If I wanted to be treated like a slave at school I would have joined the girls basketball team," Tara spoke as she removed her final undergarment before stepping into the shower.

"Yeah I signed up for cheerleading to dance and flirt with cute boys while wearing a short skirt but it's kind of hard to do that if I'm sweating like a pig half the time," Kori said as she stepped out of the shower.

"Yeah that girl seriously needs to take a chill pill, like what crawled up her ass?" A blonde cheerleader known as Sabrina, said as she towel dried her hair.

"Nothing crawled up her ass. She just needs to get laid," Kori said, stepping out of the shower. The other cheerleaders laughed.

Kim frowned. Bonnie wasn't her friend but that didn't mean she liked hearing her friends trashing Bonnie behind her back.

"Come on guys. Cut her some slack I mean this is her first international championship. She's just nervous," Kim spoke up.

"Wow you're actually defending Bonnie? That's new," Kori said as she hooked her bra.

"It's just being head cheerleader is a huge responsibility and she knows that if we don't win or even place, it will be all on her so she's stressed."

"So that gives her the right to treat us like slaves?" Margo, a black haired cheerleader frowned, unamused.

Kim stuttered. "Exactly. Even you can't say you agree with her brutal cheerleading methods. I swear if I have to tumble until I puke again I'm quitting the squad," Margo said.

"Dramatic much?" Kim placed her hands on her hips.

"Well since you think I'm being dramatic, you can talk to her. You're still head cheerleader. She has to listen to you."

"What Margo but I didn't-" Kim attempted to speak but Margo cut her off. "Who votes that Kim talks to Bonnie about her slavery methods she calls cheerleading.

All the cheerleaders raised their hands. Kim frowned.

Kim made sure to spend an extra ten minutes in the shower, working up the nerve to talk to Bonnie. What if Bonnie tried to remove Kim from the routine? She knew Bonnie couldn't technically do that because she was still the head cheerleader but still she didn't want to give Bonnie more reasons to hate her. Which she still couldn't understand why but she wasn't going to dwell on it. Bonnie hated her for years now so Kim was used to it.

Kim turned off the shower, stepped out and wrapped her towel around her.

She got her toiletries from her locker then she slipped into her clothes, a white crop top with a red heart in the center with red pants and red slippers.

Kim combed her hair, applied her lipgloss, looked herself in the mirror then she made her way to the gym.

She opened the door and called out. "Bonnie? You still in here?" "Huh wha-owww," Bonnie groaned as she now lay flat on her stomach as she fell out of her handstand.

"Ooops. My bad," Kim said as she looked at a now annoyed Bonnie Rockwaller.

"What do you want Kim?" "Just to talk to you about the routine."

"If you're thinking about changing it, the answer is no." "It's not about changing the routine. It's fine. It's sbout practice."

"What about practice?" "The girls think that you're being too hard on them."

"What about you Kim? What do you think?" Bonnie challenged, getting in Kim's face.

"I- I think you could stand to take it easy a little-" "Easy?! Easy gets us last place Kim!" Bonnie screeched. Kim cringed.

"Bonnie calm down." "Don't tell me to calm down you bitch! No one sent you here did they? You just want me to look bad. Yeah. You can't lead this routine so you want it to suck. You think you're a better captain don't you?"

"Bonnie it's not a competition," Kim said. "Isn't it? It always is with you Possible," Bonnie spat.

Kim got in Bonnie's face. "No it's always you who's making everything a competition B."

"If you can't handle practice maybe you should quit the squad K," Bonnie sneered. "Over my dead body, B," Kim spat.

"Sounds good,"' Bonnie smirked. Their faces were so close that Kim could smell Bonnie's cherry lipgloss and Bonnie could smell Kim's strawberry lipgloss.

"Screw you B. I can handle your practices anytime, any day," Kim said before turning on her heels and left.

Ugh! She knew this wouldn't go over well. She honestly always tried to be reasonable but for whatever reason Bonnie had to make it so damn hard.

Kim sauntered down the hall to her next class.

Kim hardly focused on her History lesson. Her mind kept going back to Bomnie and her extremely irritable mood.

What was up with her? Kim kept wondering to herself.
