Here I lie in my icy grave, surrounded by no one, thankfully. I wouldn't wish this on anyone, not even my worst enemy.

I was so close too! Dying before I could summit Mt Everest. Before I could even travel to Nepal and attempt the challenge. Here I lie in Antarctica, amongst the penguins and polar bears.

Then again, being alone with penguins isn't too bad…

"Yes child… penguins are quite charming"

What? Why isn't it cold anymore? Who are you?

"Unfortunately I have little time left, I choose you to be my child"

The world around the me started to warp, in the center a small black hole that sucked up my body.

"Let your journey be fruitful, may you freeze those that oppose you, enter the world of Earthland… Jack Frost"

I definitely heard that… my name is Jack Frost? Earthland? Freeze those that oppose you? Is that some sort of ritual?

"No child should be that cold Katherine!" a masculine voice shouted. "We need to get a mage!"

"You idiot Havlar! Have you considered the possibility that this child is magical?" a female one retaliated.

"You find this five year old in the snow, wearing nothing… you bring him into out house, bathe him and yet the hot water freezes! The child is fucking magical, we are not! We need someone who can train him!" Havlar, I assume, responds as there is a knocking on the door.

"Who could that be at this hour?" Havlar grumbles as I open my eyes, they mentioned the bath water freezing.

This is weird, being in a five-year-old body… I need to work on getting back to my world. Not this Fairy Tail gimmick.

"Frost… you can no longer go back, for you have died in that realm. This is your new home" a voice stated in my mind, it had that godly aura to it like the previous one, and a tone that left no room for argument.

So that's it huh? I'm given a second chance… well whoever gave me this, thank you! I won't waste it!

Havlar opened the door to reveal a woman who looked to be around twenty years old. "My name is Ur and I'm a mage… I sensed a magical presence here, is there anything I can do to help?"

"Yes! This child, Jack Frost… my wife Katherine found him in the snow passed out, everything around him freezes" Havlar says, almost too happy to see the mage.

Ur walked over to me… I knew what was going to happen, she was going to discover that I had magical power and train me in the arts of Ice Make. Before I died I happened to watch all the Fairy Tail anime.

She touched my head, her hand warm and comforting. I watched as her eyes widened. I had a couple of assumptions as to what I was… even if I was reborn five minutes ago. I was a…

"A child of the gods" Ur's jaw dropped for a second, which I found somewhat funny. All the signs where there, and If I had to narrow it down, it would be the god of frost or ice.

"No wonder you had trouble heating him" Ur mumbled as she turned around to face the couple. "I will be taking the child; he needs to be taught how to control his powers.

"Yeah cool, so when do we start?" I ask, shocking everyone. Getting up, I notice that ice has already formed around where I was sleeping, and where my feet were.

"Ummm tomorrow?" Ur replied, still shocked that I was up and talking.

I nodded. "Well if you need me, I'll be outside"

I looked into the frozen lake, specifically my reflection. Icy blue eyes and snow white hair. I looked like a kid Gojo, and that was not a bad thing believe me. I would grow up to be a handsome young man!

I don't want to stick around too long, I want to head to Fairy Tail as soon as possible because why not? I have a second chance, I wanna live it to the max!

I should probably start to figure out how my magic works… Ice or frost, I should be able to manipulate it.

I held out my hand and smiled. "O' cometh great spear of ice, grant your master a blade sharp enough to cut through thy enemies"

Surprisingly a detailed spear came out of the ice, made of ice of course.

Maybe if I try it without the incantation it would work.

So I tried the same thing after dropping the first ice spear, and it worked the same.

Natural Ice Manipulation, and lets ad an immunity to cold because I just realised I'm naked and its snowing. I wonder if I can merge into the ice like Haku does in Naruto… or even have an Ice body like Aoikiji in One Piece!

Time to experiment!

And then I morphed into the ice.

I may be trapped

I feel like Ur sensed this because I could see her looking down at me, while I was in the ice.

"Being honest I don't know if I can get you out of there" she said with an unworried look on her face. "If you managed to get in there you can get out"

She's right… even though I wasn't worried… okay maybe I was a little bit worried.

I pushed my hand out, and waited for it to form. Ur and I watched as my hand was formed by ice and then took a skin like texture.

Okay if I can do my hand, I can do my body

It took me a week to figure out how to merge between ice and reality, as well as learn the basics of Ice Make. Ur thought I was some kind of prodigy, no I was literally a demi-god or child of two gods, there is a difference.

A week was all I needed to make sure I wasn't freezing anything I came into contact with. That was all the time I needed. It was time to set sail, or rather walk to Fairy Tail.

"Okay Ur, I'm going to Fairy Tail… thanks for the help but I'm going on my own now" I say with a smile.

"Are you serious?" She asked me, confused as to why I was wanting to go.

"Yep… see ya" and like that I started to walk away, I had no idea where Fairy Tail was, but I felt like this way would be the right way.

Ur sighed, she was disappointed that I could tell, after all she was training a demi-god. "You should go the other way if you want to join Fairy Tail …"

Perhaps the other way

"Yeah I knew that, just testing you!" I said while scratching the back of my head, so I turned around and walked the other way. My journey would begin now!

Or so I thought… I didn't know how to fight.

"On second thought, can you teach me how to fight?" I asked, might as well get some technique into me.

Ur grinned. "I see you have some sense after all young one"

I scoffed. "Please I could probably beat you up right now with sheer power"

"Wanna test that out?"

"Uhhh nope"

"Too late kid"

"Shit"

A year passed, and now I knew I was ready. I said my goodbye to Ur and left for Fairy Tail. My journey would begin now… for real this time.

Hey all! back with another SI/OC Story... I'm only doing this one chapter in first person? Also doing a double chapter release for the debut, is was more of an introduction and it didnt flow with being in the same chapter as the content that will be in the second chapter... if that makes sense. Anyways the second chapter is one of my favs that ive written so far.
