Crime Covering for Burrito Loving Bat
Izuku and Diana are walking through the streets as they are heading to one piece that has got him curious for a while now.
"I hope Babs doesn't mind that we drop in to see her at her work." Izuku said.
"I'm sure Barba will be thrilled to see her friends giving support to the job she loves." Diana believed.
"Quick question, what is this job Barba is working after school hours?" Diana asked as she doesn't seem to remember.
"If I remember correctly, it's a small fast-food restaurant call the Burrito Bucket and apparently she really loves the place." Izuku recalled.
"Is there anything special about this place because I thought Sweet Justice has become her favorite place when we moved Metropolis." Diana asked.
"Never got around to study the place, but from the name I think it means they sell burritos in buckets." Izuku guessed.
"Huh, placing food in buckets to enjoy eating them in the restaurant sounds very… unique in the outside world of man, but what would they do with the buckets once they are finish eating?" Diana wondered.
"Probably put them away properly, we'll just have to see for ourselves once we get there." Izuku shrugged.
Another minute of walking later, Izuku and Diana arrived at the restaurant seeing the place is small with the big sign saying the name of the place with what appears to be a giant bucket holding some big burritos inside though obviously its fake as Diana learned this the hard way before.
"Okay, looks like this is the place." Izuku said.
"Now let us go in the experience this wonders of Burrito Bucket that Barba is so into." Diana marched in with Izuku.
Upon entering the restaurant, they see Barba wearing what seems to be a uniform for the restaurant and talking to a man with her though this man seems very angry as he is also giving her a lecture of some kind.
"Believe you me, Senor O'Shaughnessy, nothing's more important to me than this job. I love Burrito Bucket. I've been a fan of Burrito Bucket since I was five!" Barba showed the picture of her five-year-old self.
"Whatever. If you're late one more time, today, tomorrow, for the rest of your life, you're fired!" The man who is more likely the boss of this place warned Barba.
"Fired? Could this be the end for a habanero heroine, our enchilada enforcer, our lady sentinel of the sacred bean?" Barba asked herself in a dramatic tone and a slight deep tone.
"Huh, is it a bad time to come in?" Izuku asked getting the Batgirl in secret's attention.
"Izuku! Diana! I wasn't expecting to see you guys here!" Barba surprised and hugged them.
"We thought about giving you a little surprise by dropping in to see how you're doing." Izuku explained.
"And come to give you our moral support which you definitely need from the way that man was yelling at you." Diana stated.
"Oh, you mean by boss, Shane O'Shaughnessy. Don't worry, the man has always been very serious with managements like running the Burrito Bucket and about me being late to work lately." Babs mentioned.
"It must have been from all the crime fighting we've done together." Izuku realized, feeling bad for having to make Babs late for her favorite restaurant.
"But don't worry, because today I am going to focus all of my attentions and effort to being here in Burrito Bucket to show my boss, I am serious about this job, no matter what!" Babs determined.
Shane rolled his eyes upon hearing all that from nearby before looking back down at his clipboard as Izuku notice that this man may not like Babs all that much.
"Well, in that case, I think we would like to order something now please." Izuku smiled.
"Step right this way!" Babs gestured to the counter and cash register.
"So, what would you guys like to try first? I recommend the Super Macho-Meaty Beef Burrito with only little lettuces inside while the rest is all meat. Or perhaps you would be daring enough to try the Mega Spicy El Diablo Burrito that will make you feel hot on the inside so much they'll make you wish you were dead." Babs offered the suggestions.
"Huh, they both sounds very tasty and challenging." Diana smirked.
"I think I'm just gonna go for the simpler ones. I'll have the meaty burrito with a side salad bowl." Izuku placed his order.
"I will respect your wishes, Izuku." Diana nodded.
"I shall have the spicy burrito of the Diablo." Diana smirked, believing she can handle this food as a proud Amazon warrior.
"Oh, and don't forget drinks We'll both have a sprite." Izuku added for the drinks part.
"Okay, one meaty burrito with a salad side, one Mega Spicy El Diablo Burrito, along with two orders of sprite." Babs placed the order while tapping on the cash register.
"That'll be $17.86." Babs said about the price as Izuku handed her the money.
"Great. From here on out, I'll be the master of time management, the crusader of the clock, the expert of hours." Babs declared strongly.
"Umm, do you really have to keep doing that dramatic moment like that?" Izuku asked.
"Yep, now you two just wait at your table and I'll call for your order." Babs hopped to the back getting to work on making their orders.
Izuku and Diana sat at the table with the widow and a few feet close to the door as they wait for Babs with their order, Izuku took out his phone to look at the latest superhero updates not only in this city but also in other cities too. Including one article about a hero who only appears as a red blur which he figured out must be superspeed, and he has been trying to find out more about this hero and hopefully meet him too.
"Something on your mind, Izuku?" Diana asked.
"Just looking over about this red blur hero, I'm really hoping to meet him and maybe becomes friends with him." Izuku answered.
"Perhaps our fate will cross path him someday, but you should try to be patient as well." Diana stated.
"Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't let this be my main focus." Izuku nodded and place his phone down.
"We should talk about something else like… this being our first time trying out a foreign food." Izuku pointed out.
"Ah yes, ever since my first taste of ice-cream in Sweet Justice, I have always wanted to try on more food I can get my hands on and throw them into my mouth pleasing body and soul." Diana smiled, a little drool coming out of her mouth.
"Let just hope you don't have a crazy cash like with the ice-cream." Izuku chuckled.
"Do not worry, I have learned to restrain myself from having to taste of new food." Diana said feeling confident.
Izuku nods seeing how exciting Diana is willing to try new thing even if it something simple like trying out some new food, then suddenly he felt something like a ringing or other alarming feeling from within his head.
"(The Danger Sense is going off, but it's not a big thing so it must be small like…)" Izuku thought as he turns around.
He looks out the window to see that a car was pulled over in front of a bank just across the street from the Burrito Bucket and saw three men coming out of the car each wearing an animal mask: one is a panda, second guy is a horse, and the third guy is a duck as they took out guns that are glowing and nodded at each other before entering the bank.
"Diana, a crime is about to happen now at that bank." Izuku whispered and pointing his thumb at the bank.
"By Ares horde, we must stop them at once!" Diana stated softly and gently slams her fists on the table.
"And we will but first I got to alert Babs about this." Izuku said and quickly got up making his way to the counter.
And right at the same time, Babs is also making her way to the counter when she just saw those three guys making their way into the bank.
"That bank is about to be robbed!" Babs and Izuku alerted to each other at the same time.
"There's no time to lose! We have to get there before innocent people will lose their money to buy stuff like everyday needs and burritos!" Babs stated as she was about to jump over the counter, but Izuku stop him.
"Wait, your boss will fire you if you go out right now." Izuku stated.
"Don't worry, I'll tell him we're going on a bathroom break, and it'll be really quick since I have you and Diana here." Babs gestured to Diana.
"I am ready for action." Diana said.
"But I really think you stay here. This way, you don't have to worry about getting fired and the crime can be stop, if this restaurant is very important to you then it's important to me too." Izuku stated taking Babs' hands into his.
Hearing those wonderful and encouraging words from her teammates is making Babs' heart to go faster than how she talks whenever she gets excited, her cheeks to blush a little and there is the inner voice telling her that Izuku is right about letting him and Diana take care of the bank robbers.
"Okay, I'll stay here, just promise to give those guys an extra punch for me." Babs smiled.
"Promise." Izuku nodded before dashing to the door.
"We shall return for our tasty burritos that we will devour into our bodies!" Diana shouted loudly and exit the restaurant.
"What the heck is with those two?" Shane asked.
"Oh, they just remember something urgent and had to go. But they'll be back for their order since they already paid for it." Babs said making up an excuse.
"Fine, just as long as you do your job and NOT screw up." Shane said intensely before walking away.
"(Phew, so glad I listened to Izuku about staying here. My boss is really an ass when it comes to the punctuality and that other stuff he said.)" Babs thought sighed in relief.
(Bank)
"Alright, nobody moves or else you'll see what season this really is!" The robber with the duck mask threatened aiming his gums around at the people while his buddies are forcing the employees to give them the money.
"I'm afraid it's jail season for you." Deku said as he and Wonder Woman burst in.
"Because we are here!" Deku announced.
"Oh crap, it's two of those Young Justice!" The horse mask robber gasped.
"Don't panic like an idiot! We came prepare for this, remember?" The panda mask robber reminded him.
"The only thing you crocks need to be prepare for is serving a long time behind bars!" Wonder Woman stated.
"Not likely." The panda mask robber pulled something out of his pock.
Wonder Woman charges at the bank robber to knock one of them down starting with the panda one as he threw a small metal ball, and it burst into a purple net catching Wonder Woman inside and giving an electric shock.
"Wonder Woman!" Deku gasped.
"Ha! I knew stealing one of these from that shipment was totally worth it." The panda mask robber smirked.
"Don't think you can get away with this!" Deku glared.
"Oh yeah, eat laser, bunny boy!" The duck mask robber started shooting at Deku.
Deku quickly dodges the laser blasts going around to get the jump on the bank robbers until he got up on the ceiling then blitz down to kick the duck mask robber's gun away, then he use his other leg to kick the robber back crashing onto a potted plant.
The panda and horse mask robbers nod at each other then both threw the net balls at the same time as Deku saw them coming and use his Black Whip Quirk to smack them away, but that was only a distraction when the two blasted Deku immediately after he did that.
"Hey, not so tough now, hero." The horse mask robber mocked.
The duck robber got back up and held Deku from behind.
"Here, blast him." The duck robber said to his buddies.
"Deku!" Wonder Woman worried as she struggles to break free from this net.
Just as the robbers fired their laser shots at the green hero, something red and fast burst into the bank as the scene started to slow down and the red blur thing took Deku away from the duck mask robber and he got blasted instead.
"What the…?!" The two robbers gasped.
Deku was shocked too finding himself in another spot of the bank almost like he was moved there by someone else, then he saw the person who just saved him from being blasted.
"It's you, you're the red blur." Deku realized.
"That's me, but I'm actually call the Flash. Fastest Man Alive, young man wanting to make a difference to help the world getting to any crime faster than you can say "what" and putting bad guys in jail before they could even shout a threat." The guy named the Flash introduced himself fast-talking.
The Flash has cerulean eyes and wears a dark red costume with yellow thunderbolts on his wrists and waist and a white circle with a thunderbolt on his chest. He wears a mask that covers the upper half of his face and a long thunderbolt on his ears.
"It's nice to meet you, and thanks for the save. Thought I was gonna be a goner for a second there." Izuku thanked.
"Well, it's a good thing I came here a nanosecond earlier when I heard about this bank being robbed and it is SO awesome to meet one of the Young Justice hero team. You and those hero girls are so cool!" Flash complimented.
"We are glad to hear such compliments from another hero." Wonder Woman smiled, before getting zapped by the net again.
"Now that you're here, I just got an idea." Deku said and whisper the plan in the Flash's ear.
"Oh, good plan! I can go with that." Flash agreed to the plan.
"Glad to hear that because the plan starts… NOW!" Deku sprinted in the center of the ceiling aiming his hands down.
"Quick, stop him!" The panda mask robber shouted.
"Quick, that happens to be my favorite word in speed." Flash smirked as everything around him is slowing down and blitz close the bank robbers smacking their guns out of their hands.
By the time the bank robbers aim at Deku, their guns were already gone by the Flash and Deku unleash his Black Whip onto the robbers pulling them up and crashing together on the ceiling while Flash got Wonder Woman out of the net.
"Deku said you can finish them with your rope." Flash informed.
"Then finish this I shall!" Wonder Woman grinned as she twirls her Lasso of Truth around.
When Deku undid his Black Whip, Wonder Woman tossed her rope to catch the robbers and pull them down onto the floor knocking them unconscious.
The people cheered for the hero stopping those robbers as they can come here in peace now.
"Glad to be working with you, Flash." Deku said offering his hand of friendship to the red speed superhero.
"It was great working with you too! I used to do some hero work alone back in my old hometown before moving to this city, but now working with you guys was awesome and I hope we can do this again!" Flash excited, shaking Deku's hand really fast while accepting the friendship.
"Hazuh! We have a new hero friend forming an alliance with!" Wonder Woman cheered.
"Well, it was nice hero working with you guys. I have to head back for some sweets, soon to see you later or sooner, whichever comes first!" Flash blitzed out of the bank.
"Well, he certainly is the hurry kind of man." Wonder Woman commented.
"Indeed, he is, but I can't help but wonder if we have seen him before consider the way he talks." Deku said being curious about it
(Burrito Bucket)
"I can't believe you guys got to meet the red blur guy with a hero name is the Flash, that is so cool!" Babs amazed after hearing how the bank robbery went and served them their order.
"Yeah, I hope we can do more team up with him." Izuku said as he took a bite of his first burrito and finding this to be very tasty.
"We will, for fate has brought us together meaning we shall see him again." Diana believed before taking a bite of her super spicy burrito.
Five seconds later, her eyes widen of pure shock while they and her face are turning red then she screams louder with fire literally bursting out of her mouth and started panicking around the restaurant as Izuku and Babs quickly tries to calm her down and get some milk to cool her down.

Deku and Wonder Woman stopped a bank robbery with the help of their new hero friend, the Flash while also keeping Babs stay in Burrito Bucket unlike in the cartoon episode as things were hot and fast for our heroes.
