Want My Jacket?

Author's Note: For Febressuary 2022 the prompt is the title. Just a quick AU scene. Let me know what you think with a review.

Liz was sitting on the bench in the park where they were waiting for their source. It had been an hour and the temperature was starting to drop.

Ressler sat with his arm wrapped around her back of the bench he and Liz were sitting on. He felt her shiver and looked toward her.

"You cold, want my jacket?" He asked her as he sat forward and started to take it off.

"No, I'm fine," Liz said as she watched him remove his jacket anyways. "Ressler…"

"It's yours," he said as he wrapped it around her shoulders.

"Thanks," she said as she sat back and pulled his coat against her.

She leaned into his frame, and he looked down at her surprised.

"We look like we're waiting for a source," Liz said. "We need to not look like we're waiting for a source. A couple only sits and chats quietly on a bench for so long."

He shifted against her and rubbed his hand up and down her arm.

"Kiss the top of my head," Liz said.

He leaned down and did as he was asked.

He continued to run his hand up and down her arm.

"Ressler, you know we…"

"Are comm'd," Ressler reminded her.

She nodded against him.

She snaked her hand around his torso and lifted his sweater just enough to get a couple of fingers on his bare skin.

She felt his body shiver.

"So, any baby names yet?" Aram asked them over the comm.

"We're comm'd," Ressler reminded them.

"I've got months to convince him that Theodore is it," Liz said as Ressler scoffed. She snuggled in a little closer. "Theo Ressler."

"Can we focus?" Ressler asked them both.

"And June if it's a girl," Liz smiled up at him and his eyes shifted toward her. "He's warming up to little Junie."

He smirked and she smiled broadly. "I knew you liked June!"

She tickled his side and he squirmed slightly.

"Anyways, anything Aram?" Ressler asked over his comm as he stopped laughing.

"There's a black tinted Malibu that is stopping right at the edge of the park," Aram said.

"Anyone getting out?" Liz asked.

"No," Aram said.

Ressler sighed and rubbed Liz's arm.

"You're going to need to kiss me," Liz said as she sat up and looked at him.

"We're at work," he cautioned her.

"And married," Liz added.

"And you've obviously done more than kiss her because she's currently carrying a baby Ressler," Aram chuckled into the com.

"Jesus Christ," Ressler said.

"Still in the car watching you," Aram told them.

Ressler leaned down and kissed her softly on the lips.

The pulled apart. "I feel ridiculous."

She snickered. "I feel warm."

"Car door is opening," Aram said. "The source is getting out and walking toward you."

"Thank god, now I'm getting cold," Ressler sighed.

Liz squeezed his thigh and thought of ways she could make him warm again once they got home.

The end.
