READING THE FOX SCROLL was taken down on June 24/2021(Thursday). I added a link to its new home on my wattpadd. I used the original docs (hence the Ans) but the format is a bit different due to the different site.
AN1: Yeah I know December kinda sucked for me. Was super busy and exhausted all month so I didn't write anything. Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Years since I missed them all.

Chapter 47 Fairy Tail's Sky Dragon Slayers
"Now that the Oracion Seis is truly down. Time to get some healing done." Naruto remarked as he looked over into the distance.
Naruto snapped his fingers as a cocoon of sand flew over to him before hovering in front of him.
"Is that?" Jura asked with Naruto nodding.
"Its Richard taking a small nap inside sand. Same as the other members of the Oracion Seis." Naruto remarked as he waved his hand as the sand separated and disappeared revealing a sleeping Hoteye.
"He doesn't look like such a bad guy when he is sleeping." Lucy admitted as Wendy had let go of Naruto and stood by the busty blond nodded.
"Everybody has their reasons for doing what they do. Sometimes it's a bad reason and they just need somebody to bring them to their senses." Naruto noted as Sasuke appeared in his mind.
'Its not the same but people can make the wrong choices for the most noble of reasons.' Naruto thought as Sasuke became dark when he found the truth about his clan.
"Wendy-Sensei please watch me." Naruto said respectfully as he bowed his head making Wendy turn bright red.
"Naruto-sensei! Please you don't need to me sensei! I mean you can do healing magic perfectly well!" Wendy squeaked as Naruto gave a warm chuckle.
"Ara Ara. Fine Wendy-chan but you are still more experienced at Sky Dragon Healing Magic than I so technically you are my senior in the magic." Naruto pointed out as he knelt down and placed a hand over Hoteye's chest.
Wendy pouted but knelled down as well as she watched Naruto's hands turn blue with a thoughtful expression.
Lucy turned to Erza with a dry expression.
"Never expected Naruto of all people to show respect like that. I mean he isn't as rude as these idiots but he doesn't exactly scream 'formal'." Lucy noted as Gray and Natsu had butted heads again.
"That is true but Wendy seems to be his student at some point but her Sky Dragon magic seems to be more refined than Naruto's at least according to their statements." Erza noted thoughtfully as she put a hand over her chin in wonder.
"Hey Lyon do you think Sherria-chan magic can heal like Naruto and Wendy's when she develops it more?" Sherry asked Lyon and Jura.
"Hmm. We can't read that book of hers but according to what Sherria has told us at its full power Sky God Slayer magic should have the same healing powers as Sky Dragon magic." Lyon responded with a frown as he had taken Sherria book once to see if it actually had secret magic lore only to find the pages empty.
"That is true. To think the same Naruto, I lost to all those years ago has gained even the power of healing to such a degree." Jura said thoughtfully before chuckling.
Naruto Sky Dragon magic quickly neutralized the ugly purple ooze leaking from the wound on Hoteye's back and then sealed up the wound leaving just a patch of skin where Cobra's hand had pierced his back.
"Cough! Naruto! And Wendy-san! Did you save me?" Richard coughed as he woke up to see Wendy and Naruto standing over him.
"Um not really. It was all Naruto-sensei. I am glad you are well Richard-san." Wendy admitted sheepishly as Naruto gave a soft laugh.
"Naruto? I did not realize you possessed Healing Magic. I do not believe Brain found anything on the information about you." Richard said in surprise as Naruto rubbed his head.
"Hehe. Let's just say my magic was awakened recently due to a very powerful little Dagon Slayer." Naruto said proudly.
"Sensei!" Wendy whined at the 'little' comment making Naruto laugh. It did not help that Wendy had turned red when he referred to her as 'powerful'.
"Wait! What happened to Cobra and Nirvana?!" Richard said urgently as he looked around in distress.
"Well…." Naruto started with a smile before explaining the events that happened after Richard was knocked out.
"Incredible. I did not think anyone could outmatch Eric so easily when he was using both Poison Dragon and Hearing magic." Richard said in awe before he sighed and looked down.
"To think Brain was nothing but a puppet to an even more vile Zero hiding in the shadows. So we were nothing but body links for Brain to keep in control? How depressing." Richard said sadly before Naruto clapped him on the back.
"Cheer up. I think some people hear have some news you want to hear." Naruto said much to Richard interest.
Naruto soon gestured to the rest of his team who after a few apologies from Richard explained about their adventures at the Tower of Heaven.
"To think my little brother would end up there. But I am so happy he is safe and happy! It must be truly the power of love itself!" Richard exclaimed happily much to everyone surprise.
"Love?!" Sherry asked suspiciously.
"Yes Love! The power that transcends money or wealth! Love is the only thing that truly matters in this world!" Richard declared as his body somehow started to glitter.
Natsu and Gray became deadpanned while Erza and Lucy seemed to turn to stone in disbelief.
"Well spoken…." Jura said awkwardly at how different the fellow Earth Magic wizard was acting now.
Naruto chuckled before he flinched looking behind him.
"Dammit it seems that someone is rather skilled at Rune Magic." Naruto grunted much to everyone surprise.
"What are you talking about?" Lyon asked before everyone turned when they heard a loud grunt.
"Man! I cannot go and relieve my bladder!" Ichiya complained as his face slammed into a purple barrier with rune symbols.
"Boss!" The other blue Pegasus members yelled as they ran towards their leader.
"Dammit not another Enchantment!" Gray complained as Natsu slammed his fists against the now visible walls.
"Greetings. I am Lahar the Head Captain of the Custody Enforcement Unit of the New Magic Council." Lahar spoke politely as he stood with several members of the Rune Knights standing behind him in formation.
"The Magic Council again?!" Natsu shouted as Erza sighed.
"No need to fuss. We are not here for trouble with Fairy Tail or any members of this little alliance." Lahar explained with a smile that looked rather formal.
"If you are not here for any of us why has the Magic Council come then?" Jura demanded with a frown.
"Suck up." Natsu whispered to Gray who smirked while Lucy tried to avoid agreeing with her more rude teammates.
"Ah. Jura of the Ten Wizard Saint. A pleasure to meet you in person." Lahar greeted with a bow of his head.
"We are just here to take into custody all the members of the Oracion Seis." Lahar declared sternly.
"Wow we do all the fighting and now the Magic Council is here to play cleanup and take credit for defeating a major dark guild." Lyon remarked sourly.
"There is no love in a victory like this." Sherry agreed with a frown.
Lahar glared at Lyon for a moment before coughing and composing himself.
"As I was saying I here to take into custody of the Oracion Seis members however we have been unable to find them in the vicinity." Lahar noted as he crossed with arms with a frown.
As Richard sighed and bowed his head everyone turned to Naruto who had a neutral expression.
"Oh them. I will bring them over to us if you lower this barrier." Naruto said flatly as he gestured to the Enchantment with a tilt of his head.
When Lahar hesitated Naruto rolled his eyes making Erza frown.
"Fine. We promise not to do anything after the barrier is released. You have our word." Naruto said with a sigh.
Lahar nodded as the barrier was released and Ichiya quickly ran off to some trees in the distance to do his business.
Naruto shrugged his shoulders before he gave Lahar a smirk.
"I am guessing the all-powerful Magic Council have Anti-Magic Sealing cuffs ready?" Naruto asked with the hint of sarcasm making Lahar grit his teeth.
'This Fairy Tail wizard.' Lahar thought angrily as he was warned by the New Magic Council despite Naruto's exemplary record across Fiore he lacked any kind of real respect for the Magic Council.
"Of course. These criminals will be brought to justice without any sort of trouble." Lahar stated stiffly as Naruto gave a mock bow.
"Very well. Here are your presents. I even gift wrapped them for you guys." Naruto joked as he waved his hand.
Suddenly 5 clumps of sand flew in from 5 different directions and landed in front of Naruto. AN2:
"Don't worry they are alive but asleep. It makes them much more cooperative." Naruto commented as he snapped his fingers.
The sand dissipated revealing 5 relatively unharmed but unconscious members.
'Humph seems he reverted back after that ass kicking, I gave him.' Naruto thought smugly as he looked down at the body of Brain not Zero despite Zero being the one sealed in his sand.
"Men! Take these criminals into custody at once!" Lahar commanded as he pointed to the downed members of the Oracion Seis.
"Yes sir!" His men saluted before they ran over and placed Anti Magic Sealing cuffs on each members wrists and started to carry them into the carriage.
"You as well Hoteye." Lahar said sternly as Richard sighed.
"Yes. I am ready." Richard said solemnly as he put his hands up and a pair of Anti Magic Sealing cuffs were put on sealing away his magic power.
"Richard." Naruto said as Richard looked over and stopped walking.
"Naruto Uzumaki. Thank you for giving this opportunity to find me true self once again." Richard bowed gratefully.
"Fairy Tail. Thank you for telling me about my brother. It warms my heart to know he has found friends to take care of him." Richard told them happily.
"If we see Wally again, we will make sure to send your regards and tell him his brother is alright." Erza promised with Gray, Natsu and Lucy nodding as well.
"Thank you, my friends." Richard said as he bowed once again.
"Till we meet again." Naruto told him who blinked but nodded.
Richard soon joined his comrades in the carriage and sat down.
"Wow. Its little serene to think that this whole fiasco is now over." Lucy said in amazement as Wendy nodded her head slowly.
"Now time to go home!" Natsu said raising his hand up as Erza smiled.
"Not quite! There is still one matter we must discuss before we allow you to leave." Lahar shouted his men surrounded the Guild members.
"What is this?" Jura asked angrily as him and the alliance took defensive position and stances.
"I am here to apprehend somebody who is even more despicable than the Oracion Seis! I am here for Jellal Fernandes into custody." Lahar announced as Erza eyes widened and Naruto eyes narrowed.
"Jellal? I thought he went missing after the incident in the Tower of Heaven?" Erza asked with a convincing confused look as Lucy sent a glare at Natsu to keep his mouth shut.
"Erza Scarlet. We have evidence that Jellal was here at this very location recently. However, we have been unable to find him." Lahar stated coldly.
"You should know that is a crime to hide a criminal or to withhold information to their capture." Lahar warned them as his men started to tense up.
"Sir? Should we apprehend them?" One of his men asked as they prepared to move in.
This got the alliance members tense up even more as Erza bit her lip and sighed.
"I suppose there is no point in hiding the truth. Naruto please bring out Jellal." Erza turned to Naruto with a sigh.
"Erza?!" Natsu shouted in confusion before Lucy and Gray pulled him back.
"Don't. You know how hard this is on her." Lucy whispered as Natsu grit his teeth but nodded.
Naruto stared at Erza for confirmation for nodded.
"Very Well. Here is Jellal." Naruto declared as he made a quick sigh as scroll appeared in his hand with a puff of smoke revealed Jellal with his wounds healed as he opened his eyes.
"What is happening?" Jellal asked groggily as he weakly got his feet before he was surrounded by a dozen of Lahar's men who pointed spears at him.
"Jellal Fernandes! For your wicked crimes against the Magic Council including manipulating the original Council to firing the Etherion Canon. We shall take into custody to face justice in the new of the New Magic Council." Lahar shouted.
Jellal looked at Lahar for a few moments before sighing and outing his hands out.
"I understand. I am ready to accept my punishment." Jellal said in resignation.
A pair of Magic Sealing Cuffs were attached to his wrists.
"Is there anything you would like to say? It will likely be your final words for the punishment will likely be Imprisonment for Life." Lahar warned as he gave his men a nod.
His men saluted and walked away from Jellal who slowly turned to the alliance members.
"When I awoke from my coma I was in a daze. I had lost all my memories before I was nearly killed once again." Jellal explained as he winced when he looked at his recently healed chest.
"Wait? Are you saying whatever memories you lost have returned?" Lyon remarked incredulously.
"Yes. Naruto Uzumaki's Sky Dragon Magic not only restored my life but also restored all my lost memories." Jellal admitted as everyone turned to Naruto.
"It did? I mean I am not very experienced in the magic…" Naruto admitted with a chuckle rubbing his head.
Everyone looked at him incredibly while Wendy sweatdropped.
'Sensei still thinks he is a novice when it comes tom sky Dragon magic?' Wendy thought flatly.
'If he thinks his magic is not very experienced, I don't want to know what he thinks proficient healing is.' Lucy thought drily as she had watched him heal near deadly wounds with ease.
Wendy chose that moment to approach Jellal much to everyone surprise.
"Jellal-san… I… want to thank you for taking care of me back then." Wendy said with tears in her eyes.
Jellal looked down at the young girl with a look of regret before shaking his head.
"I am truly sorry Wendy. But with my restored memories I can say with certainty I have never met you before today." Jellal admitted as Wendy looked at him with wide eyes.
"No! It can't be! You led to Cait Shelter! Don't you remember?" Wendy asked desperately.
Jellal shook his head.
"I am sorry. I wish I could be the man you wanted to meet but that's not me." Jellal said with regret as he bowed his head in shame.
'Could it be there is another person who looks like Jellal? But Wendy is a Dragon Slayer so a simple face similarity would not be enough to make her mistake Jellal for someone else.' Naruto thought as Wendy was consoled by Carla.
Jellal turned to Erza who looked at him with a mix of anger and sadness.
"Erza…. There is no amount of apologies that can make up for what I did to you or our friends." Jellal apologized with his head hung low.
"Jellal…" Erza said unable to figure what to say to her childhood friend who had betrayed her not so long ago.
"I hated slavery because of what happened to us as children but I ended up doing the same thing to our friends to build some tower…" Jellal reflected bitterly.
"All I can say now is for the remainder of my life I will attempt to atone for my crimes." Jellal finished as he looked away not seeing Erza's tears.
"Jellal… You…" Erza said a few tears ran down her face.
Jellal turned to Lahar with a resigned look.
"Are you done? You are unlikely to ever get parole." Lahar noted.
"Wait!" Natsu shouted much to everyone surprise.
"Natsu?!" Erza shouted as Natsu gripped his hand in anger.
"I don't forgive him for making Erza cry but Erza was the one hurt most by this bastard. He should have to pay his debt to her as a wizard not rotting in a cell." Natsu declared as his fist turned to fire.
"Natsu!" Lucy reprimanded as Natsu glared at Lahar.
"Unacceptable. I am bringing him to the Magic Council to face judgment." Lahar retorted as his men got into position to attack.
Seeing Natsu ready to fight, Gray sighed but got a stance as well. This seemed to have a chain reaction where every member seemed ready to fight except Wendy and Lucy who looked freaked out.
Just before there was a huge confrontation. There was a beam of wind that sliced into the ground between the groups.
Everyone turned to reveal Naruto holding onto Tesseiga but in its rusty blade form as he gripped it one hand.
"Wait." Naruto said calmly as he walked towards the mark.
Both sides looked wearily as they waited to see what Naruto was going to do.
"Naruto please don't make this worst." Lucy whispered as she knew he was the most powerful person in both groups.
After a tense few moments he turned to the Alliance with his back to Lahar. Naruto put his sword back into its sheathe.
"Jellal is going with Lahar." Naruto announced much to everyone surprise and certain members like Gray and Natsu anger.
"What are you talking about?! You are just giving Jellal to them without a fight?" Natsu shouted.
"I promised Master, I would bring you home and that does not mean from a cell Natsu. I am bringing all of Fairy Tail home and that means not getting into a confrontation with the Magic Council." Naruto said coldly as he sent a warning look at his teammates. AN3:
"Thank you, Naruto Uzumaki. With this service I believe I can put a request to give you a test for a seat on the 10 Wizard Saints." Lahar said warmly now that Naruto in his mind was performing his duties correctly.
Naruto turned to Lahar with a look of annoyance and disgust.
"Don't get me wrong. I am letting you take Jellal since he needs to pay not because I believe the Magic Council is always right. There is a lot I disagree with the laws and power given to the Magic Council and I am not going to be a spokes person to tell the world about your greatest." Naruto replied coolly.
"No offense to Jura or Master of course." Naruto chuckled as he realized he implied the 10 Wizard Saints were shrills for the Magic Council.
"Hmph." Jura grunted as Lyon sighed.
Lahar glared at Naruto but nodded as he nodded for Jellal to come.
"Thank You Naruto Uzumaki. Your Sky Dragon Magic felt like a warm breeze that warmed my very soul. I felt your compassion and kindness." Jellal informed Naruto who nodded.
"Till we meet again." Naruto whispered as Jellal walked past him into the carriage.
Soon Lahar, Jellal and the Oracion Seis were gone as the members of the Light Alliance were left there to reflect.
"Did we really have to let them take Richard and Jellal? I mean they seem to want to repent." Gray noted awkwardly as Lucy looked uncomfortable.
"Sometimes repenting is paying your due. In this case its prison time. It will also allow them to forgive themselves for their crimes." Naruto spoke with a sad expression.
Erza walked over to Naruto with an unreadable expression.
"Naruto…" Erza said quietly as Naruto looked her in the eyes.
"Its okay if you are mad at me for letting them take Jellal. I am expecting it anyways." Naruto admitted as he expected a slap.
Instead Naruto felt his head press into Erza's chest when her metal covered hand pulled the back of his head forward.
"Thank you. You are right. We couldn't save Jellal. At best we would joining him in a cell. He has to take responsibility for his actions." Erza assured him warmly as she smiled down at him.
"Your welcome." Naruto mumbled as his face was smothered in her chest.
'This would be so awesome… except…' Naruto thought sourly.
She was currently in her normal armour so his face was smashed against her metal plating not a shirt so he could only feel metal.
A minute later she let go with a smile as Naruto chuckled nervously.
"Man! My sweet Erza has let another into her arms!" Ichiya said dramatically.
"Boss! We are so sorry!" His three underlings bowed and sang.
"Somehow I don't think that was very comfortable." Lyon noted drily.
"Hmph. That is not love." Sherry grunted for some reason crossing her arms.
"Ah youth. How wonderful." Jura chuckled.
Gray and Natsu gave Naruto subtle looks of sympathy as they were subjugated to Erza's 'hugs' before.
Lucy and Wendy looked away hoping Erza would not look their way.
"Oh! Since we are so close to Cait Shelter please allow my guild to give you a proper sendoff!" Wendy suggested happily as everyone smiled at the young Dragon Slayer.
They walked to Wendy's guild only to see her guild master and the rest of the people looking sad and relieved at the same time.
"What's wrong everyone?" Wendy asked nervously.
"My dear Wendy-chan. There is something I need to tell you." Master Roubaul said sadly.
"Master?! Why is everyone looking so sad?!" Wendy asked desperately.
"Its because they are illusions." Naruto said suddenly as everyone turned to the blonde who looked sadly at Wendy.
"Illusions?" Jura asked in confusion.
"Wendy's Master has been dead for quite some time. If anything, he is just a spirit now." Naruto noted as Wendy turned to her Master desperately. AN5:
"Please tell me Naruto-sensei is wrong!" Wendy pleaded as Roubaul looked away before shaking his head.
"I am sorry what this young man is saying is true. I have been dead for centuries and all that's left is my regrets and this spirit of mine." Roubaul admitted.
"However, I am surprised anyone could tell especially at first glance." Roubaul remarked with amazement as Naruto gave him an impressed look.
"Actually, your magic is near perfect and those illusions are top level. If it wasn't me i doubt anyone could tell that Cait Shelter is just Wendy-chan and Carla." Naruto admitted.
'He is like Mavis-chan and his illusions are close to her level. However, unlike her he doesn't have a body so once this is over he can move on.' Naruto noted.
Roubaul then explained his history about Nirvana and his tribes arrogance 400 years ago. AN4:
After his explantion everyone was in awe.
"To think you stayed here for 400 years just so you could make sure Nirvana would be destroyed." Erza noted in awe.
"Yes. My people's mistakes are finally be cleansed due to this remarkable young man." Roubaul noted happily as he nodded to Naruto.
"Did you know that Nirvana power source was its 6 legs through Lacrima's?" Roubaul asked revealing the source of the magic power much to everyone surprise.
"Hehe I sensed Ethenano going up through the legs so I assumed they were weak points." Naruto noted as his Lighting enhanced Wind Scar did intentionally aim at the Lacrimas to prevent it from exploding when he destroyed the body.
"Thank you. Now my work is done. But can you do one last favour for an old man?" Roubaul asked as Naruto nodded.
"Take care of Wendy-chan for me." Roubaul asked.
"She is my student. I will take care of her." Naruto assured him as he smiled and faded away.
"Wahh! Master please don't go!" Wendy cried as tears fell from her eyes as she was alone in the guild as everyone else had faded away along with Roubaul.
"Hush. Its okay to cry and let it out." Naruto whispered as he picked up the young girl letting her cry into his shoulder as she hugged him tight.
Everyone left the scene except Carla to let the Sky Dragon slayers have their moment. Naruto let her cry her eyes out for several minutes before she hiccupped.
"Where will we go now?" Wendy whimpered before she felt her head being patted.
"To Fairy Tail of course." Naruto told her with a warm smile.
"Fairy Tail?!" Wendy squeaked.
"Yes. You are my dear student and you can join the place I have joined and we can be together every day from here on out." Naruto proposed as Wendy nodded her head happily.
"I would have offered any my students but you had your own guilds and dreams so I let your fly your own paths but it looks like our paths will fly together now." Naruto noted.
Wendy and Naruto walked over to the rest of Naruto's team who had heard his declaration.
"Welcome to Fairy Tail!" The team shouted as they grinned at the embarrassed but happy Blue haired girl.
AN2: Before people troll me, nobody is paying attention to how Naruto is commanding sand. People are not typically sensory types unless magic is outright expressed as 'terror'. Plus a lot of what Naruto could do with chakra can be done in a form of magic (hence why he is not just going tailed beast mode which would very hard to explain as magic).
AN3: I intended for this scene to be a lot darker with Naruto actually fighting them but decided a sound logical reason would be better than a fight (where Naruto would just let them put their frustrations onto him).
AN4: I don't want to rehash this part of canon. Refresher he is the last of tribe and he is dead but his soul lived on due to his magic. Nirvana absorbed all the darkness but became dark and infected his people who killed each other off. He waited there for someone to get rid of his mistake Nirvana and Jellal aka Edo Jellal convinced him to take in Wendy and make a home aka a fake guild.
AN5: Naruto is saving Roubaul from breaking the news to Wendy.
