You're So Beautiful My Heart Can't Stop

Pairing: Oguri Cap x Super Creek

Genre: Romance

Disclaimer: I do not own Uma Musume or any of its characters.

When everyone looks at my classmate, Super Creek, they feel as though an angel has come down from heaven. The way she smiles…the gentle aura she gives off…and her wonderful appearance. An appearance like a mother's. The angelic horse girl. I am one of those people, or…what I assume anyways. We are rivals first. But we are good friends. Though…when the time is right…I want to tell her straight out and kiss her….tell her how I feel.

Would she love me in return…? I guess I will never know…

Oguri Cap is eating in the cafeteria, having large and large amounts of food like usual. She then notices a certain beautiful horse girl with very long brown hair that is tied to a single braid and has blue eyes. She finds herself staring at this beauty while eating.

Super Creek is admired by many other horse girls. Oguri can see that and respects their admiration. But she herself knows that love is stronger.

The mother-like horsey turns to notice Oguri eating. She giggles and waves to the girls good-bye. One of them faints from seeing Creek's beautiful smile as she waved and the other ones just swoons. Super Creek casually walks over to Oguri's table and sits across from her.

"Mind if I have a bite~?" Creek grabs herself a spoon and scoops up some curry with rice. "Mmmm! Super good!"

Oguri chuckles softly. "Hey, Creek." She continues to eat.

"So…what's up~?" Super Creek says as she gets another helping. "What are you up to these days?"

Before Oguri answers, a small horsey rushes to the table with her tray of food in her hands.

"Guh!" The smaller horsey sighs loudly. "That friggin' line was long I tell ya! Hell, I couldn't see the food because I'm so small!"

"Easy, Tama," Oguri calmly says as she continues to eat while letting Creek share.

"Yo, what's up, Creek!" The small horsey, greets with a toothy grin.

The smaller horsey, Tamamo Cross who is named White Lightning by her fans, is Oguri Cap's best friend and roommate. The two have trained and raced together a lot and often talk about Super Creek in a friendly way. Tama knows Oguri admires Creek as well. Although, it's difficult for her best friend to actually admit it.

"Ara~! Tama-chan, it's so nice to see you~" The motherly-like horsey reaches over and playfully pinches the smaller horsey's cheek.

"Ow, ow! Come on! Stop it!" Tama pulls away after slapping Creek's hand from her face.

"Fufufu! Ara, feisty today~" Super Creek teases. She then turns to Oguri. "Anyways, sorry. What were you going to say?"

"I'm going to train some more after school today," Oguri replies. "I have to prepare for the finals after all."

"Oh that's right!" Tama says. "Ogurin's been training hard this week. The mock races are coming up soon!"

"Hehe! Well then, just so you know, I will be part of it~" Creek says with a finger held up.

"Well then!" Tama puts her hands on her hips with a confident smile. "Ogurin will beat you so she can move on! Isn't that right~?"

"It depends," Oguri shrugs.

"Indeed~" Super Creek says as she takes one last bite of Oguri's lunch. "By the way, speaking of races, what is your goal?"

"What's that all of a sudden?" Tama asks.

"Ara~! It's just a simple question," Creek cups a hand to her cheek out of habit. "Oguri-chan, do you have any goals regarding racing~?"

"Well…" Oguri thinks for a moment. "I want to…race with you someday…"

Creek blinks twice and then giggles. "Silly, don't we race together every once in a while~? Besides, we are classmates too~!"

"No, I meant face each other in the finals," Oguri says, her face filled with determination. "If that ever happens, I want to be sure that you will be my opponent."

"Ogurin…you're so cool!" Tama says.

"So that is your goal, huh~?" Super Creek says. "My goal is the exact same thing, Oguri-chan! You and I racing in the finals. If we both train hard, it may happen. Or it may not, who knows? Fufufu!"

Oguri blushes at looking at Super Creek's beautiful smile on her face.

"We shall see in the mock races then~" Tama says. "Ogurin came in second last time! She trained her hardest this time, so she will surely not lose this one!"

"Indeed, we shall see~" Super Creek stands up and waves. "Thanks for talking with me! See you later! Fufufu~"

The MILFy horsey turns to leave. Oguri finds herself staring at her lovely figure as she walks. Tama notices a blush on her face as well.

'After our talk that day…the week flew by before I knew it. The mock races were about to start. I suddenly found myself swooning at her beautiful race outfit…'

"Yo! Ogurin!" Tama waves her hand at Oguri's face. "Stop admiring Creek and focus on the race!"

"Hm? Ah! S-sorry!" Ogurin jumps and turns to Tama, who is sitting at the front row of the benches.

Super Creek is wearing a blue short dress that exposes her shoulders, she wears two dark blue wrist bands on both of her wrists, blue thigh high stockings on her legs with high heels on her cute feet. Oguri cannot stop looking at that fabulous attire for a race outfit. Tama sighs heavily.

"Maybe that's why you always come in second," The smaller girl says.

"Eh? What…?" Oguri is once again not paying attention.

"You're ogling Creek way too much!" Tama says, grabbing Oguri by the collar. "Like right now!"

The two turn to Super Creek who is by herself, pumping her fists in determination. The way she is doing it, her forearms are squishing against her two large knockers, drawing the audience's attention to them.

"Grrrr…!" Tama grits her teeth with a vein popping in her head. "Showing your balloons to people…!" She snaps out of it and try turns to Oguri. "Anyways! Ogurin! Stay focused on the race and maybe you will get first place for sure!"

"G-got it…" Oguri sweat drops as Tama lets go. She knows Tama has a point, but the hungry horsey cannot help herself. Super Creek is just so breathtaking.

Just then, the two silver haired horsies turn toward a cool and stoic, delinquent like horsey, preparing for the race too.

"Hey, is that…Narita Brian?" Tama asks.

"She's…Biwa Hayahide's little sister…" Oguri says.

"Damn, I wonder what brought her here," Tama says. "She looks like bad news, Ogurin. Be careful."

"Right." Oguri says with a nod.

The two best friends high five and Oguri goes toward the other horsies, who are walking to the gates. Super Creek turns and smiles at Oguri. She reaches out and pets her.

"Best of luck~" Creek says sweetly.

"Y-yeah…" Oguri nods with a face filled with determination. She turns to see Brian on her way to the gate, paying no attention to anyone else.

Creek takes notice and giggles. "No need to worry about her. You focus on yourself and give it your all, okay~?"

"Right." Oguri pumps a fist and the two go to their respective gates.

The female announcer speaks. "All at the ready!"

Tension is rising as there is nothing but silence. The horsies wait for the signal. And then, the gate open with a click and they all charge forward.

"And they're off!" The female announcer says. "Who will be the victor of today's mock race?"

Another female announcer, who is a little older than her smiles. "Many people are routing for Super Creek. Other people are routing for Oguri Cap."

"Oh, really now~?" The younger announcer says. "Well, let's see if both of them meet their fans' expectations! It looks like Oguri Cap is pacing herself! Super Creek is in 4th place right now!"

Oguri looks over at Super Creek, who is just diagonal of her. She gives a nod and decides to make the final sprint as soon as it's the last turn. The horsies run at their own pace the first couple laps. On the third turn, things get intense. Brian starts to run a little faster, surprising Oguri.

"Narita Brian is starting to pick up the pace!" The younger announcer cries. "Super Creek is now in second place! Narita Brian is in third! Oguri Cap is in 5th still!"

They are approaching the final turn. Oguri picks up her pace, running past 3 horsies and comes head to head with Brian. Super Creek speeds ahead as they come to the final turn.

"The last turn and what's this!?" The female announcer says. "Super Creek is ahead! Narita Brian is picking up the pace even more! She is in second place! How long will it last!?"

"Oh, my~" the older announcer says. "Looks like Oguri Cap is also picking it up, but she is not as close as Narita Brian~"

Oguri grits her teeth. 'Come e on…! I can do this!' She thinks to herself.

She wills her strong legs to push her. She makes one stomp and then goes at a burst of speed. She and Brian are side by side.

"Go Oguriiiiin!" Tama cheers.

Brian glares at Oguri and starts to sprint hard. But she then looks up to see Super Creek far from where they are.

"Super Creek is ahead! She sped ahead! Only 400 meters left and already Oguri Cap and Narita Brian are falling behind!" The female announcer cries.

"Time will tell which horse girl will decide to speed forward to catch up with her," the older announcer says.

Oguri knows she doesn't stand a chance. Super Creek is too far and even if she goes at full speed herself, there is just not enough meters to get past her. Brian is also surprised. Oguri speeds ahead of Brian anyways just to at least give it her all for the last couple hundred meters. Brian grits her teeth and stomps on the ground to give her momentum and darts forward. However…Creek already crosses the finish line. Oguri crosses it 10 seconds later. Brian comes in third shortly after.

"Super Creek won! She won first place!" The younger female announcer says. "The crowd goes wild at her outstanding victory!"

Super Creek, who is barely out of breath thanks to her insane stamina, waves to the crowd and turns to Oguri, who is about to collapse. She walks over to her friendly rival and holds out her hand.

"It's okay~" she says sweetly. "Better luck next time~"

"Ah…" Even though she lost, Oguri is still glad she got to race with Creek. She stretches out her hand and gently grips her rival's own.

The crowd goes wild after seeing this good sportsman ship. However, in the distance, Brian glares at Super Creek.

Later*

Below the bleachers, Super Creek, Tama and Oguri meet up at the long hallway. Oguri and Tama high five each other, which makes Creek go, "Ara ara~" while cupping a hand to her cheek.

Just then, they hear footsteps from behind the trio and they turn to see Brian and Biwa. The dark haired horsey eyes Creek and takes a few steps forward.

"You are Super Creek?" She asks, her cool and stoic voice being heard throughout the large hallway.

"Indeed I am~" Creek replies, still having a hand on her cheek. "I want to tell you it was an honor racing-"

"Rematch," Brian cuts her off.

"Wha!?" Tama says. "Are ya outta yer damn mind!?"

"I will sign up for more races," Brian says. "I will train harder than before. I will beat you in the next finals."

"Brian!" Biwa says sternly. "This isn't necessary!"

"Aneki…." Brian slightly turns her head to eye her big sister. "I lost yes, but that doesn't mean I should give up immediately. There is still that one goal I hold dear. And i am not going to shatter it just because Super Creek beat me!"

"What are you saying?" Oguri asks.

"I want to challenge Super Creek to a rematch…" Brian says, pointing to the MILFy horsey. "By then, as soon as I beat her, it will bring me one step closer to beating Aneki."

"Ara~" Super Creek steps toward the delinquent-like horsey with a warm smile. "You show much determination. But…I feel like there isn't a point. I just showed you that speed isn't everything."

"I-I just want to prove myself…" Brian says, turning her head away. "Having you beat me is like having a minor beating me by a landslide."

"Brian," Biwa says.

"That's all I have to say," The dark haired girl says and turns to leave. "I hope you make it to the finals. Because I will be there to crush your hopes and dreams."

"Ah…" Creek gives a worried expression as she watches the delinquent-like horsey walk down the long hallway.

Biwa pushes up her glasses. "I apologize for this. Brian is like this most of the time. She feels like the sole purpose for racing is winning or losing. Yet, she cannot accept a beautiful, young horse girl like you to beat her like that."

"May I ask?" Creek says. "Why is Brian-chan so determined to beat you in a race?"

Biwa sighs and pushes up her glasses again. "That…is her own personal goal. I have one as well…" She says the last part quietly.

"Goals?" Oguri asks.

"Anyways, I have to go. It was a good race," Biwa says.

The trio watch the beautiful, glasses wearing horsey walk down the halls. Tama puts her hands on her hips.

"Well…we got ourselves a worthy opponent," The smaller horsey says. "Guess there's no way for us to focus on Ogurin beating Creek this time huh?"

But Creek isn't listening. Instead, she turns to Oguri, determination filled in her eyes.

"Oguri-chan!" She says, putting her hands on her rival's shoulders, gently but firmly. "Do not forget our promise to race together!"

"B-but what about Brian?" Oguri asks.

"I worry about her, too, but the more important thing is that you and I made a promise!" Creek says. "Please, do not let go of that promise. You and I…will race together in the finals!"

Oguri realizes that the MILFY horsey is right. Even though Brian considered Creek to be her self-proclaimed rival, the more important thing is her and Oguri being true rivals.

Tama nods in agreement. "You two can pull it off! I know you will!"

"You're right!" Oguri nods with determination. "Super Creek…you and I…are true rivals! Someday, I WILL beat you in a race. In the finals!"

"Fufufu! That's the spirit!" Super Creek giggles.

'A lot has happened from that race. Super Creek now has another rival. But our promise to race together must stay strong. I have to not let go of that….'
