Hi guys, I'm still alive lol. I'm sorry, its been a year since I last posted a chapter but I had horrible writer's block so I couldn't finish any of my stories and I'm really sorry about that. I hope you all are staying safe in these crazy times we are having and I especially hope for everyone in Ukraine to be safe and I'm praying for the country and peace.

Chapter 31
The next morning, Usagi was the first to wake up and knew it would be a while before Naru would wake up. She got up to take her phone off of her charger and realized she had missed a couple of texts from the group chat between her Michaela, Lily, and Roxanne. Thankfully the phone Selene gave her had international services so she was free to text the girls without any problems.
Usagi smiled at the banter between Lily and Roxanne and had a sudden feeling of longing for her friends even though it's only been two days since she last Skype with them. Usagi sent a message telling the girls how she missed them and a few minutes, the girls immediately texted back;
LILY: ^ω^ BUNNNNY!
ROXANNE: (❛‿❛✿̶̥̥) Pretty Princess!
MICHAELA: We miss you too Usa (✿◠‿◠)
ROXANNE: How's everything going?
USAGI: Ugh (－‸ლ) you can't even imagine the nonsense I've been dealing with
LILY: OMG ⋋_⋌ What did the Inners do now?!
MICHAELA: I bet it was the she-demon causing trouble again (｀ε´)
Usagi giggled at Michaela comment about Rei.
USAGI: You would be correct Haela
LILY: Did the others at least defend you?
USAGI: NOPE
MICHAELA: (⁎˃ᆺ˂)
LILY: ˋ皿ˊ

LILY: WTH?! After they dared to apologize to you, they don't even try to defend you?!
ROXANNE: (ꐦ°᷄д°᷅)

USAGI: The Princess has some plans for Inner Senshi and Mamoru (｀∀´)Ψ
MICHAELA:（°o°；）WHAT?!

ROXANNE: SPILL EVERYTHING
MICHAELA: WAIT! NOOO! My mom is making me go out in a few minutes to grocery shopping with her for a dinner party we're having later.
USAGI: Lol okay, I'll tell you guys everything tomorrow.
ROXANNE: NOOOO! I'm going to my dad's family reunion tomorrow
USAGI: Alright, how about sometime this weekend?
MICHAELA: Saturday good for me
ROXANNE: SAME
LILY: ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME?!
LILY: I HAVE WAIT TILL SATURDAY?! (｡•́︿•̀｡)
USAGI: Well its only fair Lily
ROXANNE: Yeah Lilly don't be selfish (^^)

MICHAELA: Lol no you don't
ROXANNE: You love us (・ω)

ROXANNE: You didn't deny it so it must be true

MICHAELA: She still didn't deny it
USAGI: Lol of course she wouldn't

MICHAELA: SAME
MICHAELA: Let's Skype that day
USAGI: Oh we definitely will
ROXANNE: Alright talk to you soon guys
MICHAELA: BYE ANGELS
USAGI: Lol bye guys
Just as she ended the text between her and the girls,Tsuki got up from his spot on Naru's bed. He jumped down and rubbed his head against Usagi's neck before licking her cheeks. "Well good morning to you too cutie" Usagi giggled.
Wiping her cheeks, she got up to get her toothbrush and clothes and headed to the bathroom. Twenty minutes later, Usagi came out dressed in a pink off-shoulder crop top with light blue jeans and styled her hair in braided pigtails. She went back to Naru's room to find Naru just starting to wake up.
"Morning Naru" Usagi smiled as she sat on Naru's bed.
Naru frowned as she stared at Usagi, "What the hell are you doing up and dressed so cute this early?" She wondered
Usagi batted her eyelashes, "You think I look cute?"
Naru sucked her teeth and checked her phone, "Usa, its freakin' 8:30 in the morning, where the hell are you going this early?"
Usagi giggled, "Well I'm sorry I'm used to waking up early so it hard for me to sleep in."
"Okay now explain the cute ass outfit?" Naru smiled
"Not my fault if I look amazing." Usagi shrugged
Naru giggled but it quickly turned into a yawn, "So what are you up today?"
"Later, I'm going to meet up with my Grandmother to continue learning on how to remove the Inners powers but first I have to meet up with the Outers." Usagi said as she was texting the Outers asking if they available to talk at their house.
"Oh, do the Outers not know you're taking the Inners powers away?" Naru asked
"They know but now that I'm actually going forward with taking their powers, there are things we have to plan for especially since I'll be leaving very soon for the Academy." Usagi said and at that moment she received a text back from Michiru saying they were all home and available to talk.
Naru hummed, "Well okay. Are you at least staying for breakfast?"
"Yeah but after breakfast, I'm gonna swing back to my place before going to the Outer's house." Usagi said
Naru nodded and started stretching before getting up to go the bathroom with her clothes. Usagi went back on her phone, checking her social media apps when she saw she got a text from someone she least expected.
MR TATE: Hello Usagi, just checking in to make sure you're doing well.
Usagi couldn't help but smile to herself as she read his message. You see, she may have fibbed a little when she told the girls she wasn't that close to him. It's not to say that they have any sort of a relationship other than student and teacher, but it was something a little more that she has with him that she doesn't have with any other teacher. Usagi refuses to learn what exactly that something is as she fears it could be a little improper. But she can't say it wasn't sweet of him to at least be checking in on her. That's not inappropriate, right?
USAGI: Hi Mr. Tate, I'm doing okay. How are you doing?
MR TATE: I'm doing well too, thank you. How has your summer vacation been going?
Usagi snorted as she thought about how her vacation is currently going, but she couldn't tell him about it.
USAGI: It's going as expected. It's nice seeing my parents and connecting with old friends. What about you? Do you have to teach or are you off for summer vacation?
MR TATE: I'm visiting family as well but no, I don't have to teach till September so I'm enjoying my vacation time. Anyways I'm glad to hear your vacation is going well.
USAGI: Well my vacation would be better if it wasn't for soon-to-be ex-friends and a boyfriend.
MR TATE: Oh I'm sorry to hear about your friends but I had no idea you had a boyfriend?
Usagi eyes widened as she realized she never mentioned Mamoru to Mr. Tate. It wasn't like she trying to hide that fact but for some reason she just didn't talk about him to Mr Tate.
USAGI: Yeah but at the moment we're taking a break from our relationship, so we're separated.
MR TATE: Oh wow, I'm so sorry to hear that. Do you want to talk about it?
Even though Mr. Tate couldn't see her, Usagi was rapidly shaking her head.
USAGI: No no its okay but thank you.
MR TATE: Alright, but I'm here if you ever want to talk. You can text me any time.
Usagi smiled and at that moment Naru came back into the room, all dressed up in a tank top and shorts. "What are you smiling about?" Naru asked
Usagi got startled as she didn't notice her come in, "Oh I just saw a cute video of puppies." She lied
"I love those videos." Naru smiled as she turned around to face her vanity.
Usagi quickly texted Mr Tate back;
USAGI: Thank you Mr. Tate. I have to go now but I hope you enjoy your vacation. See you in September.
Usagi sent the text and locked her phone just as Naru started talking to her, "So I don't think my parents are up yet so we have to make our own breakfast."
"It's cool, I'm used to making my own breakfast." Usagi shrugged
"Really? Doesn't your Academy have its own cafeteria that serves you breakfast?" Naru wondered
"Yeah but sometimes the girls and I just want to make our food." Usagi answered and Naru went along with it. The two went down to Naru's kitchen and started preparing their own breakfast.
While they were cooking, Naru's mother came downstairs and entered the kitchen, "What are you girls making?" She said scaring Naru
"Jeez Kaa-san, are you trying to give your daughter a heart attack?" Naru said trying to relax her heart
Naru's mother only giggled, "Well its not my fault you didn't hear me. You don't see Usagi being scared." Naru rolled her eyes, " So what are you girls making for breakfast?" She asked
"I'm making an egg, bacon and cheese sandwich before I head back home." Usagi answered
"And I'm making myself an omelet" Naru smiled as she was adding salt and pepper to her beaten egg.
Naru's mother nodded, "Alright, Naru don't forget to wash all the plates you and Usagi dirty. I'm gonna start making everyone else's food."
Naru gasp, "Why only me? Shouldn't Usagi help as well?"
Naru's mother shaked her head, "Sweetie this is Usagi's summer vacation and she's a guest at our home. She shouldn't be washing dishes."
Naru huffed while Usagi giggled, "Its' okay Mrs. Osaka, I don't mind doing the dishes."
"It's cool Usagi, I can do it. I was just messing around." Naru smiled, "But" she whispered to Usagi's ear, "You owe me one."
Usagi merely shrugged and continued making her breakfast. She and Naru finished making their food at the same and went to sit down to sit in Naru's dining room table. Once she was finished, Usagi placed her plate in the sink and headed up to Naru's room to collect her bag and Tsuki.
When she came back down to the dining room where Naru's mother was setting up the table and she said her good-byes to Naru and her mother. Usagi and Tsuki went back to the house and dropped off her overnight bag and headed towards the Outers home.
The Outers were in their living room waiting for Usagi to arrive, "What do you think Usagi wants to speak to us about?" Hotaru wondered
"It could be about removing the Inners powers." Haruka guessed
"She will be here, so we'll soon know." Setsuna said and at that moment the door bell rang and Michiru got up and answered the door. From the living room, the three could hear Michiru greet Usagi at the door and then the two walked into the living room with Tsuki trailing behind them.
They all sat on the couches and looked at Usagi for an explanation, "Okay so the reason why I wanted us to meet is because as you know I will soon be removing the powers of the Inners and I met up with my Grandmother to learn how to take away their power but at the same time I learned of something mind-blowing."
"What did the Goddess Selene tell you Usagi?" Michiru asked
"She told me that Rei, Minako, Makoto and Ami are not true Sailor Senshi." Usagi answered
The Outers looked at Usagi confused, "Koneko what are you talking about?" Haruka wondered
"Isn't this kinda obvious that they aren't true Senshi because of their words and actions?" Hotaru said
Usagi shaked her head, "No that's not what I mean."
"Then what do you mean?" Setsuna asked
"The four of them were never suppose to be Senshi is what I mean." Usagi responded and once again the Outers looked at Usagi confused and Usagi began to retell them everything that Selene had told her about the Inners. By the end of it, the Outers were completely stunned.
"Holy crap." Haruka mumbled
"Well I would have never expected to hear something like this" Hotaru said and Michiru and Setsuna nodded in agreement.
"I was just as shocked as you are when Grandmother told me." Usagi said, "But it helped me clear of any doubts I had in my mind about that the Inners powers."
"You had doubts?" Michiru asked in surprise.
Usagi nodded her head, "It is a person's destiny to be a Sailor Senshi and to take that away just feels wrong. And even though it would be the smart decision to take away their powers, I couldn't help think of all they have gone through, all the sacrifices they have made as Sailor Senshi."
The Outers couldn't help but nod their head as what Usagi was saying because she was right. Real or fake soldiers they gave up being normal girls to fight and defend the Earth. "However at the end of the day, I need to be around people I can trust and although they were once my friends and we fought side by side, I can't trust them anymore. Them no longer being the true Senshi makes it bit easier to remove their powers." Usagi stated
"You could say it erases the guilt of taking away their powers and position as Sailor guardians because it was never theirs to begin with." Setsuna said
"Exactly." Usagi replied
"Wait so how exactly will you remove their powers?" Hotaru wondered
"Their normal Star Seed is merged with the Sailor Star Seed, Grandmother is teaching me how to remove the Sailor Star Seed."
"What will happen afterwards? Will the Sailor Star Seeds go to their true bodies?" Michiru asked
Usagi bit her lip at that question, "If we let the Sailor Star Seeds go then yes they would find their true host but honestly I don't know if I want that to happen yet."
Haruka nodded, "You're right and if anything we should find out who are the true Inners are before we let the Sailor Star Seeds go to them."
Setsuna and Hotaru frowned, "Haruka!" Michiru said voicing her disagreement
"Why would we do that? Why keep the true Inners from achieving their destiny?" Setsuna asked
"Oh I don't know maybe because I don't want to get stuck in a damn circle! I don't want us to befriend someone who will betray us in the end just like those four did!" Haruka argued
"But they won't because they are the real Sailor Senshi!" Hotaru argued back
"Exactly its their duty to be guardians of Usagi and the Earth." Setsuna said
"That means nothing!" Haruka yelled, "Rei, Ami, Minako and Makoto were by Usagi side since the Silver Millennium and now look at what happening to our team! Even if they aren't real Senshi aren't they suppose to be loyal as friends? And now you want to bring in four new people who have never been into battle, who have no reason to be loyal our mission or Usagi. Not to mention the fact they have been living their lives as normal people and all sudden we barged into their lives and say 'Hey! You are Sailor Soldiers and it is your destiny to drop your entire life to fight monsters and villains to protect the Earth and guard our future Queen.'" Haruka crossed her arms and huffed once she finished speaking.
After Haruka finished her rant the three Outers thought about she said, "I suppose that we shouldn't have such great expectations for the true Senshi." Michiru began, "However we shouldn't use the other four as examples that the true Inner will be the same."
Usagi stayed quiet during the Outers conversation because she basically had the same dialogue with herself but she felt at this moment to enter into the conversation, "Both of you are correct in your arguments but we can't be delicate anymore. There are monsters still popping up from who knows where and Crystal Tokyo is set to take form in a couple of years. We have to be cautious even if they're Sailor Senshi."
"You're right." Setsuna said, "We don't know who they are and we don't know where their loyalties lie."
"Well Grandmother did tell me that once the Sailor Star Seeds are removed from the girls, she will try to find out the identities of the true Inners. Once she learns of their identities, we will decide whether or not they should become Sailor Senshi." Usagi said
"While I still believe we shouldn't keep the true Inners from their destiny, I suppose it wouldn't be wrong to see who they are first." Hotaru stated and Setsuna nodded her head in agreement.
"Are you going to tell the Inners about this?" Michiru asked
Haruka laughed, "Please say yes and for the love of the gods please let me be the one to tell them because I would love nothing hurt them with that." She grinned
"Haruka!" Michiru scolded
"Oh come on as if you don't want to do the same thing too." Haruka scoffed and Michiru rolled her eyes. "Oh" Haruka said suddenly pulling everyone's attention to her. "What about Chiba? He's not at all innocent and deserves to be punish as well."
"Wait a minute!" Setsuna objected. "He's the prince of the Earth. We can't exactly punish him as well unless Usagi gonna reveal he's not the true prince." She wondered looking at Usagi, to which Usagi shaked her head no.
"Oh come on!" Haruka groaned, "He's just as bad as the Inners and he doesn't deserve to be a prince."
"At this one, I agree with Haruka" Hotaru said, "While I want him and Usagi-chan to be together to have Chibiusa, he hasn't been good to Usagi at all. And a man like that can't be the father of Chibiusa." She spit out, getting kinda heated while speaking about Mamoru.
"All good points but he is the PRINCE and GUARDIAN of the Earth." Michiru said
"Well Usagi is the future QUEEN of the Earth." Haruka pointed out. "And this Earth wouldn't be standing without her."
"We agree with you Haruka." Setsuna began, "But-"
"Actually he's a co-guardian of the Earth." Usagi interrupted and everyone turned to look at her.
"What?"
"He's the co-guardian of the Earth, he shares his guardianship with another person, however Mamoru hasn't done his part or even started working with the other guardian." Usagi continued
"So you mean even Mamoru hasn't been doing his duties." Setsuna sighed, annoyed that she even tried to defend his position.
Haruka shrugged, "Doesn't surprise me in the slightest."
"Okay, so what do you plan on doing to Mamoru?" Michiru asked
"Don't worry about that, me and the other guardian have it taken care of." Usagi smiled and as much as the Outers wanted to know what that entailed they figured Usagi had it all under control and left it in her hands.
"Alright" Hotaru breathed, "So when is all of this happening?"
"Very soon but after I meet with Grandmother today, I will let you know the exact date, time and time.
"Okay then now that everything is kinda settled; I'm gonna go the Moon Palace and meet with Grandmother." Usagi announced and the Outers nodded and said their goodbyes to the blonde.
That late afternoon, Usagi was able to confidently complete the ritual and she and Selene agreed that on Friday night they will commence the ritual. The two also chose the location at the Arisugawa-no-miya Memorial Park as it would be easy isolate and give them enough privacy.
Usagi sent a text to the Outers about the date and place and how they need to prepare their side of the ritual. In the next few days, Usagi had been busy going to the Moon Palace, the Arisugawa-no-miya Memorial Park and Elysion, getting everything ready for Friday.
They planned to have the ritual in the Open Space area that was by the entrance of the park. Selene had created runes that had two purposes, the first was to ensure privacy from outsiders and to be sound-proof. The second purpose was to transport. But that would explained later.
Usagi even enlisted the help of Naru. After telling Naru the truth of the Inners and her plans, Naru wanted to help in anyway possible for the ritual. Usagi initially didn't have anything for Naru to do until two possible scenarios came to mind so Naru was included in the plans.
Sooner than Usagi would like it was already Friday and in the afternoon Usagi, Naru, Tsuki and the Outers was gathered in the Arisugawa-no-miya Memorial Park by the Plum Wood and pond, enjoying a picnic prepared by Usagi herself.
"I'm really enjoying this roll." Naru said in between bites. "What is in it?"
"Its a spring roll with veggies, rice noodles and chicken." Usagi answered
"Your food is amazing, Usagi." Hotaru smiled, "You should cook more often."
Usagi giggled, "Thank you."
Everyone continued eating for the next couple of minutes until Haruka spoke, "So tonight's the night. Is everyone ready?" She asked and everyone except Naru nodded their heads.
"I'll have to admit, I'm a little nervous." Naru said anxious for her role in the plan.
"Don't worry, everything should according to plan." Setsuna said to comfort her.
Naru scoffed, "Kinda easy for you guys to say, you all have powers." And everyone laughed
"You really have nothing to worry about Naru but if you would like I'll have Tsuki be with you in case." Usagi said and Naru looked at the white Maltese in disbelief. "Trust me, Tsuki is way tougher than he look." Naru still looked a little unsure but she trusted Usagi. Everyone spent another two hours hanging out before packing and cleaning everything up.
Just as they were finish cleaning up, Selene arrived at the park making it the Outers and Naru first meeting of the Moon goddess. Usagi could tell that while the Outers looked calm they were inwardly freaking out over meeting Selene. However for Naru it seemed she couldn't do the same and was practically going insane.
"I have to say that I wish I could met everyone in better circumstances but they brought this outcome onto themselves." Selene said
"But wouldn't that mean that the true Inner Senshi would never know the truth?" Naru wondered
Selene shrugged, "Who knows; it could've been possible for the true Inners know but that path is now closed."
Everyone agreed with Selene, the Inners had the time to make amends but each of them continued to act like they didn't do anything wrong. But now it's too late.
"Is everyone ready to do this?" Selene asked and once again everyone nodded. "Because once it starts there can be no hesitation." The Outers were more than ready to this and for Naru she took a deep breath and hope the plan goes well especially on her side of things.
Selene then looked at Usagi, "Are you ready?"
Usagi took a deep breath, "I'm ready."
Soon it was 6pm and Usagi began the plan and the Outers transformed and Usagi and Naru changed their clothes. The plan started with her texting the Inners, Mamoru to come to park and making sure Luna and Artemis was coming as well. Usagi felt it was be easy for them to come to park with no hesitation, because even though they had an argument earlier in the week, nothing was ever resolved and they probably still have tons of questions to ask her.
While they might wonder why she decided to meet at a park at night instead of Rei's temple as they always have, they will still come since they have no reason to believe there would be anything wrong.
Forty minutes later, the Inners, Luna, Artemis and Mamoru arrived. They could tell since they could hear everyone's voices but Rei's being the loudest of them all. It wasn't long before came through the entrance of the park and once they all came in, the runes placed by Selene activated, isolating everyone inside and immediately teleporting Luna and Artemis to where Naru was.
Mamoru was teleported to the side of the Open Space area but he was unable to move from his spot as if he was tied by invisible chains. He tried to transform but whatever magic chained him also bind his powers. However the spot where he stood had an excellent view of the performance that would soon happen. The Inners also found themselves in a similar state as Mamoru except for them, the four stood side by side of each other.
"What the hell the is happening?!" Minako yelled
"Was this a trap?!" Rei shouted, "Did that ditzy blonde get herself into a trap and brought us down with her?!"
"Guys I can't transform!" Ami revealed and the three looked her in horror and tried to transform as well but found themselves unable to.
"What the hell is going on?" Makoto wondered and the four looked around and saw Mamoru in a similar situation, "OMG, MAMORU?!"
The other three looked to where Makoto was facing and saw Mamoru, "Are you guys okay?!" He yelled
"Well we're not hurt but we are incredibly confused." Minako answered
"Same here." Mamoru said, "Where's Usagi? Is she also trapped like us?"
"It's probably that idiots fault that we're stuck like this!" Rei yelled
"W-we don't know that for sure" Ami mumbled but Rei heard her
"What the hell are saying Ami?! We're here because Usagi texted us!" Rei yelled out
"But if this is some trap, then where's Usagi? Where are the Outers?!" Makoto shouted
"Here we are." Sailor Uranus smiled walking up to the Inners along side Neptune, Pluto and Saturn. "Oh are you guys uncomfortable?" She asked in fake sincerity.
"What the hell are you guys doing, help us get free!" Mamoru yelled
Saturn turned her head to him and smiled, "Now why would we want to do that?"
Minako gasped, "Oh my god, they must be brainwash by the en-"
The Outers interrupted Minako by laughing, "You couldn't be more wrong." Neptune giggled
"We're not brainwash, possessed or clones. We are 100% of sound mind and body." Pluto said
The Inners and Mamoru looked at the Outers in confusion but still had a burning question in all their minds but Ami asked it for them, "Where's Usagi?"
