[Currently remastering] Hawke's as much a mage as Fenris is an elf: skin-deep and, in their opinion, irrelevant. Another thing they have in common is they are trained warriors. Lastly, they both share the opinion that the other is tedious and annoying (this a widely held opinion). A story about coming together by being apart, about memory and meaning, and about when to shut up.

This story starts as everything does, with death. Smoke, brick and fire. She died. The woman is stuck in limbo, years, centuries, more. Sanity chipped away before she finds the edge and is summoned through by two spirits. She finds herself born again, Arinda Alma Tethras. Pulled into a war she doesn't want to be in. The young girl is forced to fight just to survive.

A series of vignettes touching on the events after Roses Where Thorns Grow, setting the stage for the next story. Takes place after the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition, before Trespasser. Roses, in its entirety, is required reading.
