Question: Would you run too? 😉
I swallow the rising uncertainty. I know that Ana thinks I'm crazy indulging in something so precipitate, but I'm undeniably attracted to him. My hand skims over my silk blue dress and then I admire my black satin shoes. Heels are high and nicely sewed. When I received his email with the details of our date, I nearly fell off my chair.
He is.
I glance at the clock on my phone ignoring the disapproving looks of my best friend. Half seven past.
"Shit." I have to go, I'll be late.
Inside, my phone is safely tucked and Ana knows exactly where I am. I'm in full compliance with his instructions. It may be my evening too but he makes the rules. Am I at his mercy? I hope so not because I'm not this kind of girl. I know I must be totally crazy, letting a complete stranger let him buy me dinner.
I'm a bit cold outside. I should have worn my black blazer. But I wanted to wear my halter wiggle dress. I never had a chance to wear it until today. The fabric hugs every curve of my body. My confidence bolstered the moment I saw my reflection in the mirror. The looks I got crossing the entrance of the chic restaurant did wonders for my self-esteem with delight.
My hands rest on the table and fidget with the edge of the press on red nails. I can hear the air circulating through the room when my mind reassures me. My heart pounds in my chest and I can hear its echo in the room growing louder. So I take a deep breath to calm down. I feel the warm air filling the room through the vents, the thundering of my heart as well as the pulse of the city through the glass of restaurant.
Uncertainty fills me. "Thanks Ana!" And I see him walking toward me.
Oh god! My eyes focusing on him, keeping my breaths steady, but my heart rate slowly increases. Suddenly, goosebumps cover my arms. I resist the urge to rub them. Instead, I remain perfectly still and I lick my lips. He looks as good as he smells.
"Hi."
"Hi."
His deep voice catched me unprepared.
"No. Please, don't get up."
We shake the hands before he sits down. I feel the heat blossom across my chest at his observation.
"This dress." he says with appreciation, making me shiver.
I open my mouth to say him; "Thank you." I'm so excited on right now I can't think clearly.
"The description you gave me was incomplete about the place."
"That was not lying."
"It was just for kidding ."
He cracks a nice smile and I can't forbear smiling even though my insecurities won't allow me to relax into the moment, I want what he offers. A few seconds later, his heat warms me. I want him. More than I did before. More than I've ever wanted anything in my life. My breath quickens, pulses against my spine.
"Do you like the place?"he asks softly.
"Yes. How could I not love it? That's beautiful!"
I enjoy about our conversations during dinner. One of the things that draw me to him and make me open up. I nod and my soul takes flight. I really like him.
"Your words inspire me." I say softly too.
Christian cracks a second smile staring right at me.
"You are the charmer."
"I admit, sometimes yes but I'm sincere."
"I know."
His eyes just burn into me and I dig my nails into my thighs.
"Why me?" I ask to tear down this last remaining wall between us.
"Because."
" This is not an answer."
"That's my answer."his voice deepens.
I can feel the rapture approaching like a wave. The sound shoots a bolt of lust straight to my senses are at a feast. In the distance I hear the sound of running water from the fountain. There are 3 dinning rooms of different designs, the largest has a large open chimney and also enjoys that indoor fountain and a large mural. A few moments of stillness pass and his hand takes mine. "Holy Shit!"
His dark eyes fathomless, charming smile curves his lips I'd like to kiss. I think anyone would lose in the intensity of his dark eyes. I can feel electricity cracking between us.
"I want to know, why me." I ask him again.
"You like me."
I get a smile that lights up a room. "Lord, I want his hands all over me."It's been so long since anyone's shown really genuine interest in me.
" What are we doing now?"
"Whatever you want."
The thought alone has my whole body crackles with pleasure and this far exceeds anything I could have ever imagined. He then kisses me, and the moment our lips meet, I'm drowning in a sea of sensation and Christian's name flies from my mouth. When he nuzzles his cheek against my shoulder, it makes me reckless and tucks a stray curl behind my ear.
"We could go to your house If you want me to, that is."
"Yes." his voice is deeper.
"This could end badly." he warns me."
"Why?" I ask him, frowning.
He forces me to meet his gaze, his fingertips gentle beneath my chin.
"I planned on making you live out every fantasy you've ever had about me."
"You are definitely a psychic."
He smiles and we leave the restaurant before following him with my Mercedes. God!
When we arrived at his home, I was amazed. He was living in the penthouse, naturally, of this downtown Seattle tower. The 31-story luxury apartment building is a perfect choice for the mysterious businessman. Immediately, Christian wanted to show a "special, very special room". He emphasized the words and I frowned for the second time. Once in front, he opened the room and I was in shock. I looked at him and my libido dropped sharply.
"My god!" I say in a low voice.
"This is my BDSM world of domination and submission.I don't know if I can put this in terms you'll understand. "
"That's ... That's sure. Huh? I like you really, really much but that's not my things. I ... I have to go."
I ran away as fast as I could without looking back. Once outside,I just gunned it across the red light and went right up Seattle. I understood why he had said me;" This could end badly." Ana was right to be worried.
"Shit!"
