Blue Bloods - 12 - 29 - Danny and Maria
It's been a month after Henry's passing and all the Reagan's have been doing a little soul searching as to what their individual legacy will be. Henry lived a full life he would have been 100 years old this coming September. Each of the Reagans especially the Reagan Women are evaluating their options for their life ahead.
Maria has always been impressed with the daytime talk host Mimi Martinez so she talks Danny into going with her during a Tv taping of the Mimi Martinez Show.
Danny: I thought you were taking me to lunch….. by the way you look gorgeous have you got other things in mind besides lunch
Maria: maybe later….. but , why just go to lunch when you can spend your morning with Mimi Martinez….. Mom is taking care of Danni and we can have a little time to ourselves
Danny: Yeah, well, it would've been nice to eat and then go spend time with your favorite talk show host
Maria: She's not just a talk show host. This isn't just a talk show. It's part talk, part cooking, part inspirational show. She's a chef. She makes an amazing meal every episode for the entire audience to enjoy
Danny: Mm-hmm….Luckey me

The shows prep announcer gives the audience their pre show instructions and then introduces Mimi Martinez
Mimi: Thank you for coming. We have an exciting show planned for you today. First we have superstar and super - cute actor Tom Tobin
Danny: Oh, wow. I like Tom Tobin
Mimi: And for lunch, we're mixing up my famous Cochinita Pibil
Danny: What is it
Maria: you'll like it….. trust me
Mimi: But before we start today's show, we have a few more things to take care of so we'll be right back
Danny: I'm starving

Backstage Mimi begins coughing and trying to clear her throat and then collapses. The Stage manager comes out and asks if there is a doctor in the house. Danny flashes his badge ….. and they escort him to an unconscious Mimi Martinez lying on the floor.
Danny checks the body : Maria…. We may be taking a rain check on lunch….. I'm not getting a pulse
Maria: I can't believe she's dead
Danny: You knew about her….. Do you know if she was sick or had any health issues?
Maria: No, Mimi was all about living her healthiest life possible… Oh, that's Hank Willis, her producer and sometimes cohost… Come on
Danny: Mr Willis, I'm Detective Reagan….. This is my wife and partner Detective Baez…. We just happen to be in the audience….. we were hoping we could ask you a few questions

Danny: Uh, about Mimi. Was she sick at all? She have any health issues?
Mr Willis: That I do not know. You'd have to ask her husband
Maria: Bill, right? Where is he? Doesn't he usually attend every taping?
Mr. Willis: Bill was in L.A. for some meetings. He was the first phone call I made and my team got him on the first available flight back to New York.
Danny: We're gonna need his contact information
Mr Willis: Okay. Uh, Julie, will you organize that for them
Julie: Yeah, sure
Mr Willis: she'll get it for, all right
Danny: Do you think there was foul play involved?
Mr Willis: What makes you think there was foul play?
Danny: We don't think anything….. We're just, uh…. That's what we're trying to find out.
Maria: Can you think of anyone who would want to hurt Mimi?
Mr Willis: Look, Mimi spent a lot of time and Energy building her career and cementing her place as queen of daytime television. I mean, you don't get to wear that crown without ruffling a few feathers, you know… Phone rings… I ….. I got to get this , Okay?
That night after Maria gives Danni her nightly bath and feeds her before bed ,she changes into her sun dress in order to show Danny that she is serious about her latest decision.
Appearing before Danny with nothing on other than her sun dress, Danny can't help but focus on those raised nipples and what is about to happen next
Maria: Danny …. If you want what will happen next… you will have to listen to me
Danny: Can we talk after …. I've been thinking all day about seeing you like this…. Sweetheart … you look so good and I can't wait any longer
Maria: Danny…. Today made me realize… I want to come back to work… will you be ok with that…..when you said … my wife and partner Detective Baez…. Danny that's who I am

Danny pulls the sun dress over Maria head and begins to take advantage of those tits and ass that have come into his life ever since the first time she wore that sun dress in front of him. She will get whatever her heart desires because of it.
Eddie has also been restless…. Being a mother to triplets has been amazing… but Jamie's words have remained with her …. I don't care at whatever you want to do…..whether, stay home be a mother, take the sergeants exam or just remain a beat cop, but just don't ever be a quitter
Eddie has used her quiet time with the triplets to study up on the Sergeants exam and her efforts paid off. Lena offers to take care of the triplets so that her daughter could have some time to herself and Eddie takes full advantage of it.
Eddie goes shopping and buys herself a form fitting dress that accentuates her hourglass figure which she plans to surprise Jamie with. She enters Jamie's precinct in order to take him to lunch when she runs into Sergeant Katie Williams
Sergeant Williams: Officer Junko … are you back to work…. I could certainly use you now especially in that out fit….. I heard you did a hell of a job working with special victims not to long ago
Eddie: I appreciate that Sergeant Williams, but I 'm just here to take advantage of some quality time with Jamie… the triplets take up all of our time
Sergeant Williams: You still had time to take the Sergeants exam and from what I heard you aced it
Eddie: Loved working with your team….. it felt so good to help….. What kind of case could you use me for
Sergeant Williams: Over the past three weeks, five women met a white male in his 30's at the same club in Midtown….. he takes them back to their apartments and violently rapes them
Eddie: Any leads
Sergeant Williams: No, we…. We have a sketch of the perp, but no photo, no name and no DNA matches in the system. Hence why I'm here. We want to plant someone that fits the description of the victims and see if he takes the bait…. You in that dress would be perfect
Eddie: under normal circumstances I would jump at the chance…. The dress today is meant for my husband to enjoy…. Three babies at home don't give us enough time for that
Jamie comes out and greets Sergeant Williams and can't help but stare at Eddie in how sexy she looks

At lunch Eddie can't help but think that she needs to do this

Eddie: Because I wanted to prove that I could qualify, too.
Jamie: So it's like a competition now?
Eddie: yes and no….. I aced that test as Eddie Janko and not as Sergeant Reagan's wife, or the police commissioner's daughter in law. I did it for me…..As your wife do you like the dress….. did I get a rise out of you
Jamie: you know the ribbing I'm going to get because of that dress…. You look great and I could take you right now
Eddie: Sergeant Reagan are you trying to have your way with a fellow officer… maybe we can sneak a quickie after lunch in the patrol car…. I'm so wet I can't stand it.

Maria convinces Danny to have the Mimi Martinez case assigned to him since he was the first detective at the crime scene. Now she can use all of her background information on Mimi Martinez to help solve the murder that she believes it was.
Danny: why are you so convinced that foul play was involved
Maria: Danny….. Mimi was a fighter….. her child hood was more complicated than mine was, but she made something of herself, she used her journey to inspire millions of people
Danny: and she made millions of dollars
Maria: then at the height of her career , her husband cheated on her with a younger woman, yet she took him back… The husband is usually involved when it comes to suspicious deaths…. Let me come with you when you interview her husband
Danny: Mr Martinez… I'm Detective Reagan this is my partner Detective Baez….. we're sorry for your loss
Mr Martinez: I can't believe she's gone
Danny: Do you know if Mimi was sick at all

When the Medical Examiner Report is finally released Danny and Maria get a clearer picture as to what happened

Danny: so someone could've easily slipped some almond latte in her morning coffee

Maria: Everything that Ashly told us checked out….. Bill Martinez is was a real piece of crap….. gambling addiction and sugar babies on speed dial
Danny: But the husband was in LA at the time… Ashly was no where near the studio….. who else had something to gain without Mimi in the picture
Maria: Didn't that Mr Willis act kind of concerned jittery when we mentioned foul play… He did do stand in for her…with Mimi out of the way he gets to replace her permanently
Danny: That why I missed having you as my partner…. You get right into my head and know what I'm thinking next… remember….. Mimi drank something and then she was dead… who gave her the drink…. That's our killer
The State of affairs between the police and public bureaucrats comes to head in discussion of safety in public schools. Deputy Chancellor Jeanine Hoffman comes to discuss the confrontational argument and protests at HS 389.
Public safety for students is view from two different perspectives
Frank: We're trying to get knives and guns out of schools , so your teachers can teach
Deputy Chancellor Hoffman: That's a little simplistic

Sid: A chronic fellon passing off as a student going after a cop being taunted by an angry crowd
Frank : A crowd of Students and some teachers
Deputy Chancellor Hoffman: As one of your agents pummeled a 16 -year- old
Sid: That 16 year old has a record back to when he was 12!
Deputy Chancellor Hoffman: That 16 year old needs support and counseling, not a beat down
Sid: What do you teach at that school….. certainly isn't reading, writing and arithmetics

After School Safety Agent Fernandez comes into One PP to talk to the commissioner and give his perspective Frank notices Abbey shaking his hand and congratulating him on his service since one of her sons attends that school. Abigail goes into Franks office
Abigail: Frank…. What are you planning on doing…. You know that this is another attempt at defunding police… Deputy Chancellor Hoffman is another bureaucrat who does whatever she's told… they don't have any idea as to what they want
Frank: This nonsense that has become so prevalent is going to get people killed and we are going to get blamed for not protecting them
Abigail: so what do you have in mind
That night Abigail tries to comfort her husband
Abigail: you've had a rough two weeks….. let me get your mind off of things
Frank: As much as I would love to but….. I'm going to be a disappointment to you….. like I've told you I'm no longer who I was in that department….. as much as I want to it's not working the way it use to
Abigail: Just hold me that's enough for me
Abigail is sensing that after Henry's death Frank is coming to terms with his mortality and this job is putting a further strain on him. She is determined to help when ever she can and this public school safety crisis may be just one way she can.
When the School Board holds it's public meeting to discuss safety in their schools an unruly crowd forms. Frank decides that he will issue a statement at that meeting even though he will be welcomed with boos and criticism. At the last minute Abigail asks Frank to let her speak since Andrews attends that school
Abigail: I'm Abigail Reagan, I'm the chief aid to the Police Commissioner Frank Reagan… I'm also his wife and I have a son that attends this school. Whatever happens at this school affects not only me and my child but also my husband.
A few hecklers continue with their chants of no cops in schools….. you don't belong here
Abigail: The hecklers that continue this disruption….I wonder if they even have children attending this school… my statement will be brief…. Commissioner Reagan has heard your concerns… Officer Fernandez, the school safety agent who fought with Roland James the other day , has been reassigned… Cheers and Applause…. What you may not know and what these hecklers don't want you to hear was the effectiveness of Officer Fernandez over this past year in this school. The list of materials confiscated by this unarmed officer over this last year in your school. Knives, pistols, two semiautomatic rifles, box cutters, fentanyl, barbiturates, methamphetamine…. How many of your children are alive today because of Officer Fernandez's due diligence. I personally thanked and shook Officer Fernandez's hand for keeping my son safe this past year. Deputy Chancellor Hoffman came into ONE PP and told us of the school boards plan in dealing with your children's safety… As a parent of a student here I would like to see their list of achievements to assure that my son remains safe now that Officer Fernandez is no longer here…Talk is cheap but actions speaks volumes
The silence is deafening and Deputy Chancellor Hoffman knows never to piss off Abigail Reagan
Frank remains in the back with the biggest smile on his face... his wife is his partner and biggest supporter. That night she also got him to relaxed enough that they got to make love and relieve the stress of this past month.
The next morning Garrett can't believe the video of Abigail at the School Board Meeting…. It's gone viral …with the caption " the Commissioner's Wife is one Bad Ass"
The Morning briefing was all Abigail
Sid: The cops on the street are very proud of Abigail….. she put that lunatic Hoffman in her place….. it's about time …Abbey… great job
Garrett: the Mayors Office has their underwear in a bunch….. they thought for sure this incident would work in their favor… calls for the Chancellor and Deputy Chancellor to resign has given them a headache they didn't need
Abigail: I didn't say anything that Frank wouldn't say
Sid: but you said it with a woman's touch… you are the new spokesperson for the cops
Garrett: Frank goes in like Bull , but you know how to slice and dice with a smile… your the new power couple of NYC
Frank continues to smile especially after last night and Abbey's special touch
