This is just a short little multichapter reunion fiction I was inspired to write after the Season 11/Part: A Finale so it diverges from the canon material almost immediately from that point in the story. This entire thing flowed out of me over the course of like three days and I wrote it so fast, that I didn't even name the chapters.

(This is the sequel to 'Forever and Always') Emma Dixon is pissed when the governor shows up. She's pissed when Rick is about to jump off the deep end head first when Lori dies. Emma's pissed when she finds out her uncle is working for the governor. But she's just a kid in this world. She doesn't know how to show any of her feelings. Especially the ones for Carl.

When Jade and her brother Hugo go out on a run for supplies, they didn't expect to return to their family with a five year old child named Riley. With a five year old now part of their family, they have to try and protect each other and her from the dangers of the world. And what happens when they meet a redneck stranger who possesses a dangerous secret, can he be trusted?
