(A/N: There's been a change in plans. I know I've promised 7 chapters, but I ran out of story to write. I could've gone with two short chapters but I was afraid they would've been too short and a poor way to end the story. I was tempted to use the final chapter to cram my entire idea for a sequel but that would've messed with the quality. Rushing a story is never a good idea. I'll explain more in the ending note.)

Chapter Six: A Mother's Burden

Iduna returned home immediately. She couldn't watch anymore. She didn't even bother changing into her black nightdress as she got into bed with Agnarr who couldn't go to sleep without the warmth of his wife. His loving arm wrapped around her as he cuddled close and planted a gentle kiss on her head. He became alarmed, feeling her get startled and tensed. "You're shaking. What's wrong?"

Iduna was lost on how to respond. I can't tell Agnarr? How can I? How can I tell him that Elsa and Anna are having- "Somethings come up. I can't tell you. Not yet. This is something I have to try to do on my own."

Agnarr sat up a bit and gently rolled his wife onto her back so his sympathetic eyes could see her tear-filled blue eyes glistening in the moon light gleaming through their window. He caressed her face with a hand and stroked her cheek with his thumb, a simple gesture Iduna found comforting and leaned into his hand and close her eyes. "What do you mean you can't? You and I are married. Neither of us has to do anything alone. We have each other."

Iduna smiled before opening her eyes. She reached up to rub the hand he was using to caress her distraught face. "Give until the morning after another. If I can't fix it, I promise I'll tell you."

Agnarr was silent for a few seconds, hesitant to agree to his wife's wishes. Being a man and the head of the family meant he had to be there for whatever issues that involve his family. Why was Iduna so insistent he stays out of it? He trusted his wife and nodded, "Okay."

He laid back down beside her and kissed her goodnight.

Iduna was grateful Agnarr didn't press. His protective nature would've made things difficult if he began demanding answers. However, there was no way she would be able to sleep. Her shocked mind was still processing what she witnessed. She covered her eyes with her hand and inhaled deeply, so anxious over all the questions running through her tired mind.

Elsa and Anna. How did this happen? Until then…please God, give me sleep. Let this all be just a nightmare. Little did Iduna know how hopeless that prayer was. That what's done was done and couldn't be changed. The next morning came, but Iduna was only dreading the conversation she was going to have to have with. Agnarr had already left early for work, which relieved Iduna since the coming conversation needed to be private.

Iduna heard stirring upstairs from where she stood in the kitchen. She called in sick today secretly so that she could talk to Elsa and Anna alone. She didn't want Agnarr getting suspicious after what she said last night. She slowly made her way up stairs, her heart was racing as her ears heard the all too familiar sounds. She and Agnarr were young once too. It made her heart ache the closer she got to the source. It was coming from Elsa's room.

She didn't want to open the door. She didn't want to see what she knew deep in her heart was happening. Her hand froze before it even touched the doorknob. She could turn back now. Yes, she could turn a blind eye and claim ignorance. She could try to convince herself daily that what she saw wasn't real, that she was just tired and her mind was playing tricks on her.

It was so easy to succumb to that choice. However, the noises she was hearing wouldn't allow her to make that choice as a mother. The moaning. The whimpering. The grunting. The sound of wet skin slapping against wet skin. She barged in and her worst fears were realized.

On Elsa's bed, lied Elsa on her back. Anna was positioned between her legs with her erection was still completely sheathed in Elsa's dripping pussy. The looks of pure fear on their faces before Anna pulled out and they both looked at her with guilt on their faces.

"When you are both dressed…meet me down stairs in the living room," Iduna instructed. Complete shock covered her face, not anger. With that, their mother left so that their guilt would weigh heavily over them.

Anna looked at Elsa, their eyes both fearful and asking what are we going to do?

Iduna sat on the end of the couch, looking out the window with a shaking fist by her mouth as she processed her emotions. Where was she going to start? Did any other mother go through this situation? Iduna couldn't help but wonder, desperate for wisdom on how to proceed. Her family meant everything to her. She didn't want to tear it apart. It was one of her reasons for not getting Agnarr involved. Iduna feared he would say or do something in the heat of the moment and wouldn't be able to take it back. He and Iduna came together agreeing on the roles they would play as husband and wife, as parents.

Agnarr would be the disciplinary one. Iduna would be there to temper his anger with compassion and her peace keeping nature. Iduna was the one responsible to keep their family together and be the voice of reason and mercy. She felt so helpless without having Agnarr there to help her through this since she was so accustomed to her role as a wife and mother. However, since she insisted on handling this alone, she couldn't help but feel anger building in her.

The sound of creeks drew her attention to the staircase where Elsa and Anna stood with guilt written on their faces. Iduna gestured with her hand to the two chairs across from her. "Have a seat please." Elsa and Anna obeyed and sat down in the two chairs. The silence from the mother made them worry.

"Mother, I-" Elsa spoke, but immediately became silent when she saw her mother's warning glare.

Iduna stood, pacing around them before she stopped and finally said, "I am going to ask you questions and you're going to immediately answer them."

Elsa and Anna nodded.

"How long have you two been engaging in sexual activity behind our backs?" Iduna questioned.

"For over a week," Elsa answered, determined to take responsibility in order to protect Anna.

Elsa's answer made Iduna tense even more. "Over a week. Who, may I ask, initiated this?"

Elsa was about to confess herself as the guilty one. She did go into her sister's room. She was the one who stayed instead of leaving. Before she could say anything, Anna shot straight up out of her chair. "I did, Mom! It was me!" Both Elsa and Iduna looked at her with surprise.

Elsa shot up and stood in between them, "No, I did!"

Anna wasn't going to to let Elsa take the fall for her. She shoved her out of the way, "She's lying! I did!"

Iduna shot up and yelled with such a regal tone, "ENOUGH!" Elsa and Anna were silenced. If they lived in a time of kings and queens, their mother would no doubt be a queen. "One way or another, we are going to get to the bottom of this! I haven't told your father yet, because I know how he would react! You two are sisters for God's sake! What were you two thinking!"

Elsa and Anna were speechless. Neither saw their mother this angry before. Their father on the other hand.

"Anna, have a seat," Iduna demanded and Anna complied. Iduna looked at her first born. "Tell me what happened, Elsa."

Elsa recalled her first night with Anna, "I couldn't sleep. I was feeling so guilty about how I snapped at Anna that day. I was having nightmares of Anna getting hurt, so I went to apologize and get her forgiveness." Anna's eyes were on the verge of tears. Iduna's softened.

Elsa went on, "I couldn't leave her bedroom without her forgiveness. Anna was naked. I couldn't wake her, so I slept in her bed with her so I could be there when she woke up. I was afraid she wouldn't want to talk to me if I asked. Not after how I hurt her. She-"

"I had another episode, Mom! I raped Elsa in my sleep and Elsa couldn't stop it!" Anna was crying now. "If you want to be angry at someone, hate me! Elsa didn't do anything wrong!"

Elsa was about to speak to argue against Anna's claim, but Iduna raised her hand, "Go on, Anna."

Elsa looked at Anna sniffling back her tears as she went on, "I couldn't remember what had happened when morning came, but I began to think things about Elsa that weren't normal, but I couldn't stop myself!"

"Mother, please!" Elsa interrupted, "I was the one who pushed Anna into having sex. The next day, we had a talk and Anna didn't want to. I raped Anna!"

"Elsa, stop trying to protect me!" Anna demanded.

"I'm telling the truth! Stop trying to protect me!" Elsa yelled back.

"Stop it, you two!" Iduna yelled, getting their attention. "It doesn't matter who started it. What matters is that you two are sisters and willingly continued having sex! Why?!"

Elsa embraced Anna, her eyes meeting their mother's, "Because I love Anna, Mother!" Iduna's eyes widened at this. Anna returned Elsa's embrace and confessed the same, "And I love Elsa."

Iduna left them to pace around the living room again. Her daughters were mutually and intimately involved with one another. "You can't be in love. You are sisters. This isn't right! How can you two make such a foolish choice like this!"

Elsa got between their mother and Anna. "I know we're sisters, but that doesn't change my love for her, Mother! I realize that society will never receive us as lovers since we're sisters, but-"

Iduna again held up her hand. Several moments of silence passed before she finally spoke. It was obvious that Elsa really was the one that started this. Anna was just confused. "Anna, please go to your room so Elsa and I can talk alone."

Anna was about to protest but Elsa took her hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze and a nod. Anna went back upstairs without a second word.

It was now just Elsa and their mother who had a soft expression on her face. Iduna sat back down on the couch and patted the spot next to her. Elsa came over and sat beside her mother.

"I do not doubt the love you claim to have for Anna, but she is only fifteen years old, Elsa. She's underage while you're a legal adult. On top of that…you're family. There are so many issues with this pairing and you know it," Iduna spoke softly.

Elsa began tearing up, "I can't stop, Mom."

Iduna embraced her daughter and whispered, "If others find out what happened, that'll follow you two forever. You are risking your future. I know that once you have sex for the first time, you bond with that person. You feel whole and complete, but Love isn't doing what you want and desire. It's putting someone else's needs before your own. If you really love Anna and care for her, you have to do what's right…for Anna's sake. Allow her to have a bright future. You know what you have to do Elsa. Promise me, Elsa. Promise you will do right by your sister."

Still embraced with her mother, Elsa nodded as tears poured from her eyes. Her heart was already being torn in half. "I promise, Mom." Her voice was breaking with painful emotion.

Upstairs, Anna heard Elsa go to her room and she rushed to her open door. Elsa locked eyes with her and Anna could see the pain in Elsa's eyes. Elsa then closed the door. Anna quickly went over and tried to open it, but she was shocked to find it locked. Anna began to panic and knock on the door. "Elsa."

"Go away, Anna. I want to be alone." Elsa's voice replied from inside her room. She sounded upset.

"What did Mom say? Can you please let me in so we can talk?" Anna asked. She took a step away from the door when she suddenly heard Elsa's footsteps storm in her direction.

The door was flung open and Elsa was in her face, "I said to leave me alone!"

In that instant, both Elsa and Anna were having déjà vu. This wasn't the first time Elsa snapped at Anna, her little sister. Anna looking at her with hurt, just like that day, before running into her room and slamming the door shut behind her. Elsa crumbled inside and retreated into her room as well, isolating herself from the one person she never wanted to ever hurt again.

Down below, Iduna sat on the couch with her face buried in her hands. Her body trembled over what happened. She went into this desperate to secretly get Elsa and Anna to end things in order to prevent Agnarr from learning and risk tearing the family apart. However, she did not account for how deeply her daughters felt for one another. Because of her unwillingness to tell Agnarr and because of love, her family was already falling apart. She couldn't wait for tomorrow morning. She quickly got her phone and dialed Agnarr, doing what she should've done from the start.

"Iduna? Getting bored at work?" Agnarr's voice was playful, but it did nothing to heal Iduna's broken heart.

"I'm at home. I called in sick to handle what we talked about last night. Oh, Agnarr! I messed up!" Iduna cried into her phone.

"Iduna! Iduna, listen to me. I knew something was off with you the other day. Tell me what's going on," Agnarr gently tried to calm his wife.

"Not over the phone. Please. Come home. It's Elsa and Anna," Iduna replied.

"I'll be right there," Agnarr replied urgently, hanging up. It didn't take long for him to reach home. Iduna guided Agnarr to the couch and sat close to him as she explained everything. She was constantly wiping her tears as she told him what both Anna and Elsa confessed. His eyes were wide with shock. His instincts were to have a heated talk with his daughters but seeing his wife in tears as she explained everything tempered any disciplinary tendencies he had.

He rose from the couch to see his daughters. Iduna was weary of his intentions and quickly followed. Anna went pale and silent when she stopped crying to see who was standing in her now open door. It was her father. He then went to Elsa's door and knocked. "Elsa, it's Dad. Can you open up please?" Anna stood behind him with Iduna, but there was no reply from Elsa. Agnarr got his keys out and had a master key for all doors in the house.

Opening it, Anna rushed past him, but went pale when she saw no sign of her sister. Iduna was next inside. "Elsa?!"

Anna 's heart was beating faster and the ache in her heart worsened with each passing second she notices of Elsa's bag gone and her dresser empty. She noticed a piece of paper on Elsa's bed. It was for her and looked like it was written in a jury. I'm sorry for causing so much trouble. You'll be better off without me. Goodbye. Elsa.

Ann dropped the paper and fell on the bed, gripping the blanket with her hands as she broke again. Iduna comforted Anna as her father read Elsa's note and noticed the window wide open. He gave Iduna a sad look before walking out. Iduna continued to hold their crying daughter. Iduna regretted her actions, but had no idea what else she could've done to prevent Elsa leaving home. Did she do the right thing as a mother? She had no idea. On one hand, what mother would allow such a relationship to go on? On the other, it broke her heart to see Anna in pain and wish she could take it all back.

Somewhere in Arendelle, Elsa was lugging her bag to a meeting place: a bus stop. A car arrived and the door opened for her. She tossed her bag into the back before closing the door behind her and leaving in the car.

"Where to, Elsa?" Honeymaren asked from the driver's seat.

Elsa looked up at her. She began to tear up, "Far away from here, where I can never hurt Anna again."

(A/N: I know everyone was expecting a happy ending for this story, but I had to look at this with a realistic view. I have a sequel idea for this story that will only consist of no more than five chapters. It'll be the perfect ending for this story. I hope everyone understands why I had to go this route. Having their parents magically be so accepting of their incest was a joke and the only way to move forward with the story was to involve heartbreak. Forgive me, Elsa and Anna! Be sure to follow this story for future updates. Rather than do a sequel story, I'm just going to add five more chapters. The rest of the story will take place three years later, so Anna will be 18 and Elsa 21 like in the first movie.)
