After saving the world from Alduin and bringing a temporary peace to Skyrim, the Dragonborn decides to embark on a journey to the distant homeland of dunmer, Morrowind for the first time. He wishes to learn more about his people and see the tragic state of the province, as well as to follow in the ancient hero's footseps and find out the truth about Nerevarine's dissapearance.

Eira, an experienced and highly skilled Thief, is tasked with finding the murderers who are framing the Thieves Guild across Skyrim, threatening the well-being of her home. Farkas, a Companion, searches for his missing twin brother following their father's murder. In a twist of fate, the two are forced to work together if they will have any chance to save their guilds.

From not-so-humble beginnings, this story follows the titular character on their journey to becoming a legend. Compared to the actual game, the Dragonborn will meet various new allies, and face off against new adversaries along their quest.
