Fact: Ian Rider died thirteen months ago in Cornwall, at Yassen Gregorovich's hands. Fact: Ian Rider is not dead. And when he gets home, Scorpia and anyone who's ever touched his nephew will see death as a mercy when he's done with them. (As they say, he that fights monsters should take care, lest he, too, become a monster.)

After looking after Alex for a year, the Pleasures send Alex back to the UK..and back to MI6. There, they tell him he must stay with someone for "protection" but he knows it's really for them to keep tabs on him. So where do they send him? Well to Brecon Beacons of course! How does K-unit handle Alex and the effects his missions had on the boy? Set after Scorpia Rising.

Exactly what it sounds like - 31 days of Alex or members of K-Unit (or L-Unit, if you know who they are) or any deceased character you want me to bring back being whumped or taking care of the whumpee (who will probably be Alex). Alex is kidnapped and interrogated by K-team and is great at not giving them the answers they want. Written for Flufftember! This is a fanfic of pongnosis' Devil and the Deep Blue Sea. Alex and Toka get that happy ending we all wanted. This is pure fluff (well, close to it). Moderate violence. No Romance!

John and Helen had evaded Scorpia and left Alex behind with Ian. No one knew they lived except Ian, who would raise Alex until he was an adult and could join them. They wanted to give him a childhood, and a choice to not be on the run. It didn't work out that way. Set within the Devil in the Deep Blue Sea universe by pongnosis.

He was the centre of the school rumour mill, reduced to one friend and refused to play victim. Alex had his own goals and fitting into the oblivious petty teenage hierarchy was not on his radar.
