Part 3 of the Academy Series finds Kirk and McCoy in their third and final year at Starfleet Academy. As Kirk pushes himself to complete his courses and graduate early, he battles a medical review board, a visit from his mother and the 25th Remembrance Day Celebration. Kirk must find his place in Starfleet as the son of George Kirk.

Spock enters Pon Farr and burns for his chosen mate, that being Uhura. Lingering ensues. Whilst writing this story, I also started to have ideas for a second and third chapter. Not sure when they'll be written. Only time will tell. Skin tone descriptors altered: Saturday, 26 February 2022.

The new ambassador simply wanted to make a deal with the Federation. Having the Enterprise pick him up would be normal, he thought. What he didn't expect was musical accompaniment as well.

Spock Prime, feeling his usefulness in the altered timeline nearing its end, decides to retire...but his plans instead become one last adventure. This story, written in 2013 for a dying friend (who shared my dislike of Abrams Trek, and who thankfully did get to read this, before dying), was rendered even more apocryphal by the death of Leonard Nimoy and the events in "ST: Beyond".

He'd just gone back to fiddling with his restraints when the door opened with a loud, screeching clatter. The shape of a humanoid form, flanked by two guards, stood silhouetted in the doorway, before a body—as equally restrained as his—was thrown into the room, landing with a deep thud. The door slammed shut.

Spock must adjust to a grievous leg injury that changes his life. Jim must cope with his guilt. Both must find comfort in each other.
