"Oh yes! Just like that!" Diana gasped as her head tilted back and a moan slipped out of her lips, "Great Hera! You are re-aaaAAH"
Her words trailed off into a drawn-out moan of pleasure as her fingers clenched harder on his hair, and Harry smirked as he raised his eyes to her flushed and sweaty face. His tongue did not stop for a second as he brought her to the climax that had been building ever since he had ducked underneath the table. Coming up from his kneeling position, Harry smirked at her as his hands landed on the armrests of the chair, his mouth still glistening with Diana's juices.
"How about that?" He asked as he leaned a little forwards, "Took me only ten minutes thi-mmph!"
His gloating was cut off as the woman beneath him grabbed him by his shirt and smashed her lips against his, her tongue immediately tangling with his as they met in the middle and Diana moaned, her own taste on his tongue arousing her even more. Standing up from the chair, she raised her leg and wrapped it around his waist, Harry's hand automatically raising up to support her by her thigh as they continued making out.
"Ohhh," she moaned as Harry started kissing and biting at her neck, leaving a trail of fire in his wake as he slowly descended towards her covered chest, which was soon bared to his eyes and lips as he simply tore her shirt apart. His hands coming up to squeeze at her bare tits, Harry once again went back to tangling tongues with Diana as he grabbed her by her ass and pulled her up, making her wrap her legs around his waist and her hands to go around his neck.
"Fuck, you are hot!" Harry said as he bit her neck harshly, making her moan and grind against him before he lowered his mouth to her breasts and started lavishing them with kisses and bites. He avoided her nipples entirely, even as she moaned needily—and tried to push him towards her aching tits with her super-strength—but he easily resisted her efforts, his teeth nipping and sinking into the soft flesh.
He was just about to free his member from his trousers and fuck the goddess in his arms, when he heard Kara start to exit her room. Groaning into her neck, Harry repaired her clothes and sped back to his chair, Diana a step behind him as they both retook their seats and started to eat the lunch she had prepared…something which they were supposed to do a lot earlier while Kara had been watching the TV in the other room, the girl unknowing of the activities going on just a few feet away courtesy of a silencing and smell-containment ward.
With a wave of his hand, Harry vanished the evidence of their activities from the floor just as Kara entered the room, the girl looking at them with wide eyes as she walked towards them.
"Harry…you were right," she said and slid the tablet in her hand over the table towards them. "He came forward finally, in Metropolis a few minutes ago."
"After flying in shadows for weeks," Harry muttered as he scrolled down the article, "'Mysterious hero reveals himself to the press in Metropolis, a glimpse at Earth's first superhero, Superman'."
"That's wrong!" Diana frowned, "You and I both have helped people in this very city, long before he decided to even show his face! And Batman is a regular crime fighter in Gotham for about a decade now!"
"Diana," Harry sighed as he turned towards her, "I have helped the public exactly two times in the fourteen years I have been here, and you stopped donning your armor long before that, so I don't really think we count as heroes when you consider Kal-El has stopped two planes and a rocket from crashing, along with rescuing several civilians from various situations in the last three months alone. And Batman isn't a superhuman from what we know about him…also his applaudable habit of breaking bones doesn't make a good superhero profile according to the definition. And despite the babbling of criminals and the bat signal on GPD's roof, he has never shown his face once, so he still a boogeyman in several people's minds."
"You can discuss your hero careers later," Kara said. "For now, how do we go about meeting Kal?"
"For now, we wait," Harry said, and raised his hand when Kara made to protest, "I will once again say it Kara, he means a lot to you, but I will not allow you to go in front of him until I am sure that he is not going to bring danger to you."
"I am a Kryptonian, Harry!", Kara said frustratedly and banged her fist on the table, breaking it in two despite the hardening charms on it. "There is not a single thing on this planet that can penetrate my skin, let alone harm me!"
His lips pulled into a snarl at that and Harry stood up from the table, and slowly approached the blonde. Diana tried to grab his hand, knowing that both of them were clearly not thinking soundly at the moment, but he evaded her attempt without even looking back as he continued on towards Kara.
"There is not a single thing that can harm you?" Harry asked, the anger within his voice unmistakable. "Look at Diana, Kara, she was literally created out of magic, and she has collected dozens of artifacts of magical origins from around the world, and what does that fucking tell you?"
Kara didn't say anything in response, but her glare and the clenched fists said aplenty, not that Harry gave them any thought as he continued, "That there are wizards and mages on this planet, and even a moderately powerful sorcerer will wipe the floor with you if given even a single chance! Don't test me on this Kara, we don't know what kind of enemies your cousin will end up making and I don't want even a single one of them sniffing around you in the hopes of hurting him!"
"You promised to help me find him!" She cried out, making him falter for a moment, "Why won't you let me meet with him?"
"Because I don't want you to get hurt, you silly girl! Have I ever refused you anything? But today I am asking you to use that brain of yours and think rationally for a moment!"
Kara growled at his words and the next second she was out of the room, the dust, and broken plaster from the ceiling falling to the floor in an agonizingly slow manner as he raised his head towards the hole in his ceiling.
"Diana," Harry said as he turned towards her, "take the BMW, I am sorry I won't be-"
"I understand Harry," Diana said as she came forward and hugged him lightly, "Bring her back love, and don't be too hard on her, she is just…feeling a lot at the moment."
Sighing heavily, Harry nodded against her neck and then vanished from his house, the key of his motorcycle floating in his place.
Arriving in the atmosphere above Metropolis, Harry immediately summoned his armored bodysuit, and the cloak he wore over it before he turned invisible silenced any sound coming from his body. Knowing that by now Kara would have easily crossed the distance between New York and Metropolis, Harry instead raised his palm and a moment later, a blond hair strand appeared in it.
Closing his fist around it, Harry closed his eyes and focused his mind upon the face of Kara, each and every detail of her features coming alive within his mind as the magic went to work. When he opened his eyes a moment later, they were alight with orange fire, yet he could see her perfectly. She was walking through the streets below, her hands stuffed into her pockets as she looked around at everything and everyone.
Recognizing her exact location, Harry apparated right behind her and donned his shirt and jeans once again, before he moved into a small crowd and came out entirely visible.
"Kara!" He said softly, but it was enough for her to hear him, the girl stiffening and stopping still for a moment before she turned around to glare at him.
"What are you doing here?"
'Ouch,' Harry internally winced at the blankness in her voice and cursing teenage rebellion once more, he walked forwards and got down to his knees in front of her, erecting a befuddlement ward around him as he did so.
"Listen, Kara," he began slowly, "I am sorry for the way I talked at home just now, but I am worried about you sunshine." He raised his hand and laid it upon her cheek, but when she didn't lean into it like always, his eyes dropped to the ground and he took a deep breath before continuing "Kal-El is powerful, and those who dare to stand against him will be powerful as well, and much like Voldemort, they will come to hurt you just to try and hurt him. That is something I cannot accept at any cost."
"You cannot keep me chained and coddled forever Harry," Kara said back quietly as she turned around and started to walk away, "I am going to find my cousin and talk to him today, and that is final, whether you like it or not."
Kara took a single step back, leaving his hand to drop down to the ground before she turned around and started to walk away from him. After a few moments, Harry stood up and looked at her back once before he turned around and started to walk away, his fists clenched so tight that he could even feel the pain of his nails digging into his flesh.
'If she wants to meet him so badly, then who am I to stop her? Obviously looking out for others is a cr-', his thoughts were cut off by the sudden screams which came from his right. He turned towards the source of the noise and saw a neon green beam of energy lancing up into the sky, the force of it actually creating a shockwave that shattered a few windows. The first piece of glass barely even touched the ground before he saw a red and blue form fly towards the still active beam. The rest of the world moved in slow motion for him as he focused upon the shielded S, and the face wearing that Kryptonian bodysuit with a cape attached to it.
"Kal-El," he whispered, walking towards the source of the commotion while time resumed its normal pace for him, his hearing picking the voice of the young Kryptonian as he attempted to reason with whoever was the perpetrator of the incident. With a single thought, his Kryptonian battlesuit and the cloak he had created appeared over him, the hood already covering his head. A second later, a startled scream came from Kal as Harry saw the green energy slam into his chest, sending the Kryptonian rocketing backward right towards him, the gap between them thankfully devoid of any civilians.
Snapping out a hand, Harry gripped the flying superhero by his hair, stopping him right then and there, the sudden stop making Kal-El groan a little. His eyes flicked over the Kryptonian, taking in the blisters and burns over the visible parts of his skin, and the obvious weakening of his powers if the ripped out strands of hair due to his grip were any indication. Turning towards the source of Kal-El's condition, Harry found himself flummoxed for a moment by what he saw. Standing several meters ahead of him was a humanoid android, its face somewhat resembling a skull while green light shone through the gaps in its metallic body.
"Really Kal-El," Harry scoffed as he turned towards the still weakened Kryptonian, "A machine of all things defeated you?"
"Wh-Who are you?" Came the raspy voice from the rapidly healing superhero, even the tears in his battlesuit repairing within a moment. Kal-El turned his face towards him, bemusement and suspicion clear on his face.
"Me? I am just a ghost in the wind," he answered, before he pushed Kal-El aside and turned towards the android. "Now shut up and let me deal with this Terminator."
Not giving Kal any time to respond, Harry disapparated from his spot and appeared right above the android, before a wave of raw magic pulsed outwards from him shorting out everything electronic within a ten feet radius. However, in his arrogance, Harry hadn't really thought of a scenario in which his attack would have left what, for all intents and purposes, looked like an electronic machine…utterly unscathed and still fully functioning.
"Was that supposed to do anything?" The android spoke up suddenly, its head turning up to look at Harry's still airborne form. Its voice was unmistakably that of a male's, but a warbling, high pitched undertone to it.
"What the hell are you?" Harry asked, genuinely curious about the abomination in front of him. Because as far as he was concerned, no human soul was supposed to inhabit a non-organic body and yet, the thing in front of him possessed a human soul inside a body of metal. In response to his question, the green light emitted by the android intensified, and Harry suddenly felt a wave of dizziness pass over him. Before he could even blink, a beam of green energy rushed out from its hands and slammed into him, sending him rolling and skipping over the asphalt.
"I…am….METALLO!" Screamed the android, his attack continuing to push the cloaked man through the road, digging a trench with his body. Shaking his head, Clark stood up and flew at the android from behind, his hand pulled back for a punch. However, as soon as he got within a few meters of Metallo, he felt a pounding headache develop at once inside his skull and his powers diminished once again, leaving him to crash on the ground painfully.
'Again?' Clark groaned as he felt his durability decrease exponentially, which in turn allowed friction to tear his skin for the first time in his life. Ignoring the burning and stinging sensation the best he could, he turned his head towards the android and slowly got to his feet. Keeping his eyes on the android, Clark shifted to his left, so that he was would be out of shadows and directly beneath the sunlight. 'There is something about him that is making my powers vanish and weaken. And those beams of his are dangerous too, not even bullets from Pa's hunting rifle managed to make me feel anything, but those straight-up burned me. Jesus Christ! No wonder children are told not to play with fire.'
"The mighty Superman, strongest being on Earth," Metallo proclaimed as he walked forwards, making Clark groan even more as he weakened further, the healing burns and scrapes on his skin once again opening up. "Heh, what a load of bullshit!" Metallo seemed to think something for a moment before he placed his hand over his chest, and through his dimming vision, Clark caught sight of a green crystalline rock the size of a small rock inside his chest once he removed the covering over it.
"This is your weakness is it not?" Metallo asked, painting at the green crystal, and going by the whole green glow and the beams which made him burn, this was the source of his power. "Professor Vale, he thought you and your species were invaders and humanity would be defeated by you lot. Hah! If only he could see you now, panting and on your knees like the bitch you are."
"What?!" Superman gasped, managing to find some semblance of focus in the agonising pain in his body. "I am the last of my planet! Krypton has no means to inva-urk!" His words were cut off quite abruptly as Metallo kicked him on his cheek, sending him spinning towards the storefront besides them.
"How does it feel to get your ass kicked by a human," Metallo sneered as he walked towards the groaning and bleeding Superman. "John Wayne Corben at your service, Oh Mighty Superman."
"Huh, so you are a human," came the voice of the cloaked man from just behind Metallo, and the now revealed cyborg turned towards the man, only to receive a face full of dark red lightning. While Metallo couldn't really feel it the way he had done in his human body, the overdose of voltage was starting to affect the systems inside him. Already he could feel the motors and actuators in his joints going haywire with the energy being provided to them.
With a shout, Metallo fired a Kryptonite beam at the cloaked man right from his chest repulsor, creating a shockwave from the sheer kinetic energy within the blast. Fully expecting the man to be blown to bits right on the spot, this time it was Metallo who was surprised as his most powerful attack slammed into some kind of forcefield, and diverted to the either side, leaving the unknown enemy completely unharmed.
"You done?" Came the voice from behind the forcefield, making Metallo even more furious than he already was, the programming done by Professor Vale imitating his 'human' responses and feelings so that he would behave just like he had prior to his accident. With a powerful roar, Metallo diverted the Kryptonite's energy into his attack, the beam suddenly doubling in thickness and power both. However, while Metallo was turned towards the unknown man, Clark managed to recover and jumped towards the android, the motion sensors built in his body no way capable of keeping up with a Kryptonian's lightning-fast movements.
A punch landed on his back, and despite his processors registering it, Metallo couldn't move fast enough to avoid the next two punches that sent him flying forwards into a building. Clark panted harshly, his body utterly unaccustomed to the effects of the radiation emitted by Kryptonite, and for someone who had lived as someone far stronger and better than baseline human, suddenly being brought down to human levels of physical capabilities was quite a daunting experience. Thankfully, when Metallo had diverted most of his power into attacking Harry, the ambient radiation being emitted by his body had lowered drastically, allowing Clark to attack without crashing midway like the last time. Clenching and unclenching his fist, Clark glared at the hole formed by the cyborg, before his eyes turned towards the stranger. The man was still standing in front of him, his arms crossed over his chest as he looked at the slowly rising android a few feet away from them.
"You should have used more strength," he commented as Clark came to stand beside him, making his eyes snap towards him with confusion, which he somehow seemed to sense as he clarified, "You should have hit him harder, enough to at least break him into scrap metal. Now all you have done is give him another chance to kill you."
"We do not hold the lives of anyone in our hands," Clark responded, shock and horror plain to see on his face at the idea of killing someone else. "We are not the court, We ju-"
"We?" Came the mocking question, causing Clark to stop and look at the darkness inside the hood with bemusement. "There is no 'we' here, Kal-El. I am not a hero or a person who likes to work for the masses by running around and saving the day. I am killing this abomination for personal reasons."
Before Clark's eyes could even widen at the k-word, he had already disappeared from his spot. Time moved in slow motion for him as he saw a brightly glowing Metallo stumble out of the wreckage, his chest cavity already humming with the energy inside it as the cyborg aimed his palm repulsors towards him, completely unaware of danger behind him. Even though he knew it would hurt like a bitch, Clark started to run forwards towards the cyborg, intending to stop the stranger from murdering him. Barely a millisecond had passed before Clark was in front of Cyborg, his hand reaching out to shove the cyborg far away from here so that he could deal with the would-be-murderer.
But as fast as he was, the sapping of energy from his cells due to the Kryptonite was faster still. His fingertips burned as he grasped the cyborg's shoulder, the metal searing into his flesh and vaporizing the cells as Clark put pressure upon his fingertips. Unused to such pain and stings, Clark reflexively removed his hand with a gasp and that was all Metallo needed to unleash a Kryptonite blast right in Superman's face. Clark shot backward like a bullet, his back slamming into the building's walls before he tore through them like they were made of paper, his durability doing more damage to the structure than the energy of the beam itself.
As he started to stand up from the debris, his whole body froze in its tracks as a smell invaded his nose, a smell he was quite familiar with all the times he had seen his mother slip up with a knife. It was the smell of blood. Eyes wide and sweat beading on his forehead, Clark turned to his right and stumbled back in shock, his throat choking up and his breaths freezing in his lungs as he saw a dead body for the first time. His eyes unwantedly focused upon the corpse, the splatter of blood and brain matter intermingled with pieces of a skull in place of the head, and the rest of the body wasn't far behind with the way it was crushed by the broken chunks of the wall.
Bile rose in his throat, and Clark vomited right on the spot as the nausea, disgust, and horror all rolled into one heck of a panic attack. The acrid stench burned his superhuman nose fiercely, and gasping and shivering for air, Clark stumbled out the hole he had inadvertently created. His body and suit started to mend, but this time rate of regeneration was quite slower than before, the increased levels of Kryptonite exposure affecting him in every way possible.
"Well, you got the first taste of what death looks like. That's one thing you can remove from your list of the things you face as a hero," the stranger suddenly said, making Clark jerk in surprise as he turned towards the man, his eyes narrowing in anger at the crushed metallic body a few feet away from them. However, before he could say or do anything in response, he caught the sounds of sirens coming closer and while he was distracted for a moment, the stranger simply disappeared once again, leaving the mentally drained Superman behind to handle the slowly approaching police and the press.
"Hey Kara," Harry called out as he apparated behind the bound and silenced Kryptonian, before he dismantled the wards around her and approached her. "Well, you cousin finally saw a dead body today, terrible business that. He vomited all over his bodysuit, and can you believe h…" Harry trailed off for a moment as he looked at the girl, and found her glaring at him, not a word coming from her despite the bindings being long since removed. "And you are angry."
"You tied me up," she accused after a few moments, her face seemingly carved from stone as she glared at the rooftop, "and then left me here whil-"
"That's enough!" Harry snapped, making Kara freeze up and look at him with wide eyes. Not giving her a chance to speak, Harry continued, "Do you even know what was waiting down there for you? A freaking Cyborg which was running on that Green Crystal which killed your people! Some scientist thought your cousin is a prelude to a Kryptonian invasion and created the cyborg with the express intentions of killing Kryptonians! Your cousin only survived because I was there to divert Metallo's attention, otherwise, he would have been nothing more than a corpse now. Do you know why I bound you in a dozen different ways and then hid you for good measure? Because you would have jumped into the fight, and then mercenaries, governments, independent organizations, and who knows what else would come after you."
"I-I didn't," Kara paled and murmured quietly, her eyes lowering in shame and slight fear as Harry continued to rage above her.
"That's right! You didn't think! Do you know that your cousin was actually relegated to a baseline human's power when he came in contact with Metallo! His vaunted physical superiority was nothing in face of those energy beams. Your cousin burned and bled like any normal man once that green stone touched him even once. And he had a Kryptonian battlesuit as well as years of yellow sun exposure on him as compared to your human-made clothes and 14 months." Harry sighed and kneeled down in front of her, his fingers coming under her chin and turning her face towards his, the lowered hood now allowing her to see his own tear-filled emerald eyes.
"You don't understand Kara," He began, cupping her face with both of his hands as he leaned forwards and recessed his forehead against hers, "You are my sister, and even if you hate me for it for the rest of our possibly immortal lives…I will not let you come in any sort of danger unnecessarily. Today has been exhausting for you and me both, so let's just go home and sleep. Tomorrow morning we will talk and I will find a safe and silent way of making a meeting between Kal-El and you take place."
"Mhmn," she nodded, tears rolling down her cheeks before she shot forwards and hugged him with all her might, her muffled 'Sorry' against his chest making him laugh wetly as he stroked her hair and stood up before they apparated away.
To those who are gonna write Supes has been nerfed down. That I am making him weak to make Harry look strong, just shut up. To those who merely think so…He is brand new to Superhero work, and he has never experienced anything like Kryptonite ever in this Universe, in this continuity. Therefore, he has a severe reaction to it, and with this being the first time he has ever been injured in such a way, I think his reactions made sense.
