AU The fire nation kidnaps Aang and raise him as a weapon

Princess Azula believes that she was born to rule, and she rules through fear alone. Until, a peasant girl enters her life by giving her a fire lily. Through this act, Azula finds herself undertaking a life-changing journey with her new companion to win the throne, save the world from an otherworldly threat, and find her humanity. Femslash.

Years before the Siege of Ba Sing Se, General Iroh discovers a young girl among the remains of a decimated Water Tribe village. Raised in the heart of the Fire Nation, she grows close to the young crown prince and accompanies him and Iroh on their adventures.

Katara and Zuko are separated from the group when Azula comes to blow up the Western Air Temple. Forced to survive together, Katara learns to trust Zuko despite his previous betrayal in Ba Sing Se, and Zuko learns just how deep and beautiful of a person Katara is. Pressured by the eminent arrival of Sozin's comet, they must figure out a way to find the others. (I don't own art)

This story was commissioned as a remake of Laying Down the Law by Dacyon. Follow Katara and Aang through Hakoda's perspective. Starts with Hakoda first meeting Aang and ends with Hakoda retiring as Chieftain. Kataang.
