2. Chapter 2

I went from black and silent to muffled screams and the sounds of explosions. So I guess this is the worst that can happen. Welp I jinxed myself with this one.

After a couple of seconds of thinking and figuring out where I was I came to the conclusion that I had just messed up pretty badly. I forgot to get the prenatal protection and from the sounds I was hearing there is a good chance that I might actually die before I even have the chance to live.

I had reincarnated into the world of Naruto and from what I could understand of the few screams I was hearing it was during the nine tails attack on the village.

It was only after thinking of that I finally noticed that I was feeling a choking sensation. I couldn't breathe. I had a fully grown body, of a baby that is, but I hadn't yet been born. That could only mean one thing if I felt like I was suffocating. My mother was dead and I was no longer receiving air from her blood.

Well shit, this is a bad situation if there ever was one. I couldn't just leave my dead mothers womb since that would cause me to possibly die from being unable to cut my umbilical cord or even cracking my skull on the ground from the fall. All I can do is wait a bit and hope someone comes before I die from lack of oxygen. If worse comes to worse I will have to chance it and hope that I don't immediately die.

I'll check out my status and add some points to Vitality, hopefully that will let me survive.

I added 200 points to Vitality and 200 points to Physical Defense to raise up my HP since I knew from my experiments in my last life that suffocating myself caused me to lose 1 HP per 10 seconds.

I learned that from hanging myself in the bedroom after removing all of my protections and wards. Shocked the hell out of Tonks when she found me just hanging there. Of course she almost immediately figured out that I wouldn't actually kill myself and pulled up a chair with a bottle of firewhiskey and just watched. I eventually got bored and asked if she would help me get down. She just laughed and told me that since I got myself up there I could get myself down, she'd just watch the show. Evil woman, or should I say women since the rest of my wives just walked in laughed and left. Myrtle even told me that she would love me even if I became a ghost. It was terrifying since she had a glint in her eye like she had a certain hope.

The Physical Defense was just in case the nine tails stepped on my mothers corpse or if I needed to force my way out. No point in dying because of shit luck or a bad landing.

I also added 300 points to both Intelligence and Wisdom since being a genius orphan is better then people wondering why I was normal one day and suddenly had a huge surge in chakra the next.

The last 50 points I'll save in case of an emergency. That completed all of the beginner quests for the stat point allocation and I won't receive anymore for those in this life.

I then went and bought a couple of skills using my quest points. Even though I no longer have a skill window since it would be insanely full due to all the skills I learned and mastered in my previous world I was still able to feel the mastery I had over a skill and how to best use it based on the level of my mastery.

I got only internal skills such as chakra control, chakra release, yin-yang release, which was amazingly versatile, and Senju vitality. The vitality from the Senju clan made my chakra ridiculously thick and would cause almost any wound I did get to heal almost instantly. I could even regrow limbs that I had lost so long as I had enough chakra. The yin-yang release would let me use any and all jutsus as well as even making life. This was the skill used to make the tailed beasts, though using it would require a ridiculous understanding of lifeforms, from creating a body to creating a personality as well as providing the chakra for it.

I don't regret any of my buys even if they are going to take a long time to master and use, but as a baby I already know that I'm going to have a ton of time to work on my internal skills.

After I was done with everything I ended up just waiting until the sounds of battle came to an end and there was silence. After more than half of my HP was gone and I had started to consider leaving my dead mothers womb by force I heard the sound of the earth moving and yelling.

"We have a pregnant woman here, her head has been crushed and is unable to be identified. The rest of her body has however been left intact. Her time of death is roughly over two hours ago." A tired voice says.

"What a shame, to lose both mother and child, this is truly a tragic day." A second voice says with a sigh. "Hold on, I think I can feel a chakra signature." The voice says with shock.

"That is impossible, she has been dead for too long, the child would have long since died from lack of oxygen and nutrients by now." The first voice says sounding even more sad and tired then before. "I think you might be tired and imagining things, you should take a bit to rest."

"No, I'm telling you I can feel chakra coming from her." The second voice insists angrily. "You know that I have a very strong sensory ability, just call for a mednin to check her real quick."

"Fine, but in the mean time sit down and rest a bit while we wait for the mednin." The first voice gives in.

A couple minutes later I hear a shocked sound come from both the voices.

"What are you doing here third Hokage sama?"

"In the midst of this crisis it is the duty of everyone to come together and help one another, how could I possibly sit at home when there is so many people out here who could be in need of my help. If I can save even one more person because of my actions than I will do everything I can." I hear a loud and powerful voice tell the two.

"Now what is the situation that you needed a mednin for?" He says to them.

"This guy here says that he can feel a chakra signature coming from the corpse of this woman here." The first voice says respectfully. "I have already checked the time of death as being over two hours ago."

"I swear third sama that I felt a chakra signature coming from her. I know I might just be to stressed out from the night and seeing all of the dead, but I would rather check and be wrong than not check and lose a life that could have been saved." The second voice cries out.

"You are right to do so Asuma." The third says to Asuma. "Now let's see what is going on here. How is this possible?" I hear the third yell out as I feel energy sweep by me.

"The child is still alive after all this time. Get a team of mednin here immediately, we need to get the child out of her right now." I hear the third yell out in surprise and worry.

Less then a minute later I feel a sense of weightlessness as I am lifted out of my dead mother and into the air where I take in a long breath of air and let out an ear piercing cry. The air felt like I had a cactus in my lungs, it fucking hurt. I don't think I'll ever get used to this sensation.

"It's a miracle." I hear a bunch of voices sighing out in relief.

I looked around and could see a whole group of people surrounding me. I could see the third hokage, Asuma, Iruka, Might guy, and a whole group of mednin as well as some anbu in the surroundings. The mednin that was holding me was a middle aged lady who looked like someone's mother, if said mother caried around a curved sword as big as she was.

"Thank goodness we managed to save him in time, but how did he manage to survive for so long?" I heard Asuma say to no one in particular.

"That is a very good question." The third said with a nod. "Let's do some quick field tests to find out. First things first though, everyone who isn't needed for this needs to go and keep searching. We managed to save one life here already, who knows how many more we can save tonight."

"Yes sir." The crowd yells out with much more energy then what I had heard before.

"Now let's check this little fellow out." The third says as he moves over to me and the mednin while Asuma follows behind.

I feel the thirds chakra sweep over me quickly and I make a face at him since it is rather odd feeling to get scanned like that.

"Oh, it would appear that he can sense my chakra, interesting." The third chuckles with a slight smile.

He then looks at me in the eyes and says. "Don't worry little one, I'm just checking you over to make sure that you are okay."

I blink and then smile while I reach out to him and he picks me up from the arms of the mednin who laughs a bit. "It would seem that he is quite taken with you Third sama."

"It would appear so. He seems to be able to at least understand the intent of my words and whether or not I intend to hurt him. How curious." He says with a pondering look.

"Hey Asuma, since you are here could you help me test this out. I want you to step back a little and release a little bloodlust OUCH." The third says before I smack him in the nose with an angry pout.

The mednin laughs as Asuma just looks awkward. "I think he doesn't like that idea Third sama. The mednin says with a grin."

"Dang kid can apparently understand well enough." The third says while rubbing his nose and eyeing me.

"I wonder." He says again before sending his chakra into me again.

It didn't feel very good, but it didn't seem aggressive, more like it was seeking something. I focused a bit and sent a little bit of my own chakra to his and tapped it lightly.

The third froze up and then quickly withdrew his chakra before staring at me with a look as if he had seen a ghost. He was pale and had started to sweat a lot.

"Are you okay Third sama." The mednin asked as she moved over to him with Asuma moving over as well and the anbu making some slight moves as if they were ready to act at any second.

"He's a Senju." I heard him whisper in shock before quickly snapping his mouth shut. He looked around and quickly had the two move closer to him before saying. "I want the both of you to keep absolute secrecy on this matter until such a time as I have given you permission to speak of this." He told them seriously causing them to both nod with grave expressions.

"This child is a Senju descendant. His chakra is very close to my teachers and Tsunade's. There is no doubt in my mind that he is a direct descendant of the first hokage. I need you Asuma to go now to Tsunade as quickly as possible. Take my ring with you and find her as soon as possible. This is to be considered an S class mission. There will be any number of individuals that will want to take this child while he is still a baby to either use for experiments or to make into a soldier. The repercussions of which would be beyond devastating to both the village and the elemental nations as a whole if he fell into the wrong hands."

"I want you Asari to be the caretaker of this child and you will have the anbu nearby 24/7 in case of any sort of trouble. You must protect this child no matter what."

"This could cause a war to break out that would pit the leaf village against the others." The third told the two with a serious tone.

"Wouldn't it be best to kill the child and avoid the chance of him being taken then?" Asuma said while gritting his teeth.

"While I do not believe in ever harming an innocent child, I also must ask about this?" Asari asked while making a look of disgust at the idea.

"While it would stop any chance of the dangers that could happen from him falling into the wrong hands it would also take away any benefit that could happen for the village. He could be the start of bringing back the Senju clan from near extinction and could cause the village to rapidly increase in strength. The Senju clan created this village alongside the Uchia clan. They are both considered akin to village royalty. To kill him based off of the possible dangers that could happen would be beyond foolish. Not to mention killing off my teachers family member would make me one of the most hated and distrusted individuals in the ninja world, but also the knowledge of what Tsunade would do if she found out I let her only relative be killed." He said causing both of the others to grimace.

"If Orochimaru is a pain because we wouldn't let him experiment on others then just imagining a sanin who actively hates the village would be terrifying to say the least." Asuma said with a look of worry while Asari and the third just nodded.

"So in any case I want you to protect this child and raise him until Tsunade and Asuma returns Asari." The third said as he handed me back to Asari who seemed like I suddenly had become a carton of eggs. One made with millions of dollars worth of materials apparently as she was suddenly sweating in nervousness.

I decided to ease the situation by diving out of her arms onto the ground causing everyone to freeze in shock.

I then started to quickly roll away into the bushes before being picked up by a huge dog and put in the hands of a woman.

"What in the world?" The three all yelled out as the woman came out with me under her arm as I tried to squirm away as the dog just watched me with an amused look.

"Hahaha." She laughed out loud. "Why don't you let me handle the kid Third sama. It would appear that Asari here won't be able to handle the stress." We all looked at Asari who looked as if she was about to faint from losing her soul.

"It would appear so. I'm sure you heard what we discussed Tsume and will be able to make sure he stays under watch." The third sighed out in a mixture of relief and exasperation.

"I thought we just went through all that just to have the kid commit suicide the very next second only to see him try and escape." Asuma sighed out.

"This little one appears to be quite the wild one. I'm sure he'll fit right in with Kiba and the other pups. Maybe he'll motivate them to be more active and quick on their feet." Tsume said with a huge smile.

"What about your husband Tsume, won't he have a problem with you bringing a new child home." Asuma asked as the dog and the third just hung their heads right before Tsume kicked him in the face and put him on the ground.

"That useless bastard left me high and dry a month ago to raise the kids by myself. I couldn't give two shits about that man and if I see him again I'll cut him into pieces and use him as fertilizer like the piece of shit he is." She growled out in anger.

"Okay, well then, I guess we'll leave him with you." The third said as soon as Tsume calmed down a bit. "Wait a second, Where is he?" He asked as soon as he looked at her arm that had been holding me only to see nothing there anymore.

Everyone turned to look at her arm including her dog who all looked at the spot in shock before turning to look at her face which also was looking at her arm in shock.

I on the other hand had decided to once again try to make an escape while everyone was distracted. Why did I do this. For the laughs of course.

Less than three seconds later I was once again picked up by the dog again and carried back to Tsume who once again put me under her arm. I of course decided to give up the escape attempts for now.

"This is the most slippery baby I have ever met." She said with shock.

"He had managed to get halfway into the woods and was in the middle of digging a hole to hide in before I found him." The dog told them much to the shock of everyone. Not because of the dog talking, but from what I had done.

"That is some next level baby stuff right there." Tsume nodded. "I'll need to be careful of this one or even I might end up with some trouble."

"And to think he was born only an hour ago." Asuma said causing everyone to look at him in shock before whipping their heads back around to look at me as if I would somehow disappear if they didn't keep an eye on me. I just clapped my hands and giggled.

"He was only born an hour ago but can already escape from a jonin ninja and can even think enough to try and dig a hole to hide in. This child is obviously a genius." The third said with a glint in his eye. "He's going to be a real handful Tsume, make sure you be careful with him."

"I'm more worried about being careful of him, just imagining what he'll get into later on is already causing me a headache, but I'll do my best." Tsume said with a grin while giving me a look that spoke of a future war between us. I just gave her a big eyed look and put my hand in my mouth trying to look as innocent as possible. She just snorted in amusement.

"Very well, I'll let you be on your way. There is a lot more to do before the night is through." The third said before sending everyone off with their orders.

I was going to be watched by Tsume at the Inuzuka compound while Asari would be in charge of my medical care and the third would be my overall guardian until Tsunade came back from wherever she was. Asuma was to leave immediately to go find her along with a letter that explained what was going on.
