The third year came and we were finally learning Ninjutsu. It was the schools basics, but it signified that the school had said it was okay for us to learn and practice jutsu. The heirs of different clans could also start learning their families techniques now and it showed by how often they would rush home after school to practice. Sauske and I didn't really care much since we were already using the time we used to use in the library to practice and I had Sauske training his chakra control the second day he had moved in. So we were already pretty far ahead of everyone.
The three classes had become one by now and it was essentially only the best of the best.
I saw Naruto watching the other kids in class leave to go to their families for training and decided to give him a little push.
"Hey Naruto, did you know that even a really basic technique like what we learn in school can be made really strong if you master it?"
"What do you mean, how can these lame jutsus be powerful?" Naruto asked in disbelief.
"Well to truly master a jutsu you need to practice it enough where you can use it with only a thought and no hand signs. Just picture the transformation jutsu. Imagine if you were to be fighting me for example and then suddenly poof you were actually fighting Dere and I was actually transformed into the rabbit to the side ready to use a surprise attack. You also would have to wonder if you were really fighting Dere since if I had the transformation jutsu mastered I wouldn't need to use hand signs."
"That sounds amazing." Naruto exclaimed with stars in his eyes.
"Yep and the jutsu's taught at school are the basis for every other type of that jutsu and would need to be learned regardless since if you can't do the basic version then you definitely can't do the advanced stronger version." I nodded at him with a smile while Sauske just stood nearby with a smirk.
"I'm going to go master these and become the greatest hokage." Naruto yelled out before rushing off.
"So why did you decide to help Naruto?" Sauske asked with the smirk still going strong.
"Naruto wants to be hokage, the hokage is a powerful ninja with a ton of techniques and access to everything in the village outside of the clans personal stuff. However that powerful ninja only uses their jutsus to either practice or in emergencies and instead has to spend all day doing paperwork and dealing with the annoying people in the council who are no different from a bunch of children who think that what they think is always right even if proven wrong. I gave Naruto a push since if he doesn't get powerful there is a chance that as the descendant of the first hokage I might end up being hokage myself and I doubt I'll be allowed to pass on the job without a good reason."
"Wouldn't having all those resources and information be something good?" Sauske asked in confusion. "Even if you had to do paperwork it still sounds pretty comfy of a job to me."
"Sure it's easy, but I can get the information and resources just fine without all the extra work. All I need to do is become a special jonin or sanin level ninja and I'll have access to pretty much all the jutsus the hokage already has. In any case I'll just support Naruto for the position and just hide out in the background. Of course I could always support you if you want it Sauske." I said with a grin.
"Hell no." Sauske said with a look of worry. "There's no way I would ever want to be hokage. Dealing with all the crap that happens around here is something I think I'll just leave to someone else."
"Exactly." I nodded. "So onwards we go to do our own training."
The rest of the year went by with nothing new really happening. The two books finally got translated and were books full of jutsus stolen from other villages. Sauske and I of course learned them as well as our school jutsus.
I could tell we were finally reaching the cannon when I saw Mizuki. The evil bastard trying to be all friendly. I of course didn't like him and by extension neither did the twins who could tell I didn't like him.
He nearly crapped himself the first time Dere growled at him.
He tried to convince me that he was a good guy, but I told him he smelled wrong which made him a little confused and he avoided me as best as he could from then on.
Once it was time for graduation, which Naruto had tried to pass early repeatedly only to fail each time, came around I knew it was the beginning of the cannon and shit was going to start happening.
Everyone other than Naruto and one other guy passed. The guy who didn't pass came from a super wealthy family and just wanted to show he went to a ninja academy, so nobody really cared about him. Naruto though was really depressed.
Sauske and I was almost attacked by Tsunade who grabbed us up in a hug and congratulated us for graduating. It was a little embarrassing, though nothing as embarrassing as Kiba's teasing he got from his mom and Hana. I swear the guy must have guts of steel not to die from the hell they put him through. They hugged him, rubbed his hair and tossed him in the air, only to let him hit the ground when they got distracted by someone saying something to them. The poor guy.
I watched as Naruto was led off by Mizuki and went with Tsunade to go to a restaurant to eat and be merry.
I of course decided that since I was now considered an adult as a genin I would join Tsunade in drinking. Apparently my ability to outdrink a giant in my past life somehow came over with me since I was able to keep up with Tsunade. Shizune took her home along with Sauske who had passed out after his second drink, hah, what a light weight.
The twins promised to take me home and Shizune was satisfied with that and left.
After we walked out of the restaurant I immediately felt completely sober and the twins both stood at attention as they felt my mood shift to being serious.
I let out a sigh and then said. "Find Naruto and let me know, but don't be loud since we don't want to let the other ninja searching for him find him before we do."
"Yes sir." the twins said before disappearing into blurs from the speed they were moving.
A couple of minutes later and Tsun returned and told me she had found his trail leading into the forest.
I called to Dere to let him know using our connection and followed Tsun to where Naruto was.
When I got there I saw him practicing the shadow clone jutsu with the scroll left leaning against the side of the building. He had managed to get shadows to start forming around the area and didn't seem to notice anything outside of the one in front of him. Ironically it wasn't that he failed in making clones, it was just that he had so much chakra that he would need to make at least ten clones to properly form them.
Naruto's chakra was so large that without having a very strong grasp on its control it would easily go out of control, and since he had only been taught the basic chakra control he was already extremely skilled.
I took a rock and used a substitution jutsu to take the scroll and sat on the backside of the shed to read it real quick. I was thankful for my perfect memory since it only took me an hour to read the whole thing. It would take me much longer to actually use the information, but it was still at least there and I no longer had to worry about going back to check the scroll.
I returned the scroll and it wasn't a second to soon as Iruka showed up and started yelling at Naruto the very next second.
After that I went home and just let things play out like they were supposed to.
The next day I went and did my morning training, but this time I also added in the shadow clone jutsu. Sauske was a little hung over, but even he noticed the difference and asked me about it. I told him about what had happened last night and how I was training the new jutsu to replace the original clone jutsu. Sauske of course wanted to also learn which caused me to laugh.
"I can teach you, but don't try it unless you are absolutely sure your chakra control is good enough to water walk without problem." I told him with a smile.
"What, why do I have to wait that long? There's no way Naruto's control is that good and he was able to do it." Sauske complained.
"This jutsu uses Yin energy and causes the yang energy in a persons body to try and compensate for it by switching over into yin energy. If you can't control it you could end up turning into a girl." I tell Sauske seriously.
"Wait, how does yin and yang energy translate into turning into a guy or a girl?"
"Men have more yang energy in their body since they are conceived and the opposite is true for women. The amount of yin or yang energy decides what sex you are and it is possible that if you have to much of the opposite from your original it will cause you to have a change in sex. The reason Naruto can use the skill is because he has so much yang energy in him that it is borderline impossible for him to run out of it. This is also one of the reasons why he has such a hard time with basic ninjutsus."
"So if you really wasn't to use this jutsu you can, I'm sure you would make a very pretty woman." I told Sauske with a smile.
"Oh, shut up." Sauske grumbled.
I managed to get two shadow clones before it was time to go to the academy for us to get assigned to our jonin. Well everyone except me since I had decided to apprentice under Tsunade. Sauske also thought about trying to apprentice under someone, but I convinced him by telling him that unless he wanted to specialize in a certain skillset that he should instead go with a team so he could learn a wider range of skills. I also reminded him to make sure and ask the jonin to teach him as many skills as possible since it was almost like having free scrolls with jutsus thrown at you. If you didn't take the scrolls when you have the chance then you were an idiot.
He just nodded and we went in the classroom.
There was shock due to Naruto showing up having been allowed to pass since he had used a proper shadow clone jutsu which was well above the original clone jutsu, but it stopped when he showed off his ability to use the shadow clone jutsu.
Before Iruka came in to give out the assignments I went over to Ino and asked her if she would like to go on a picnic with me when we had some free time.
Ino blushed and told me she would love to. This of course caused another ruckus while I just went to where I usually sat with a grin.
Ino covered her face with her hands and tried to hide from all the teasing she got from the other people in class.
Iruka came in and handed out assignments with the different jonin coming in and taking their groups.
I just stood up when Iruka told me my assignment since I already knew where Tsunade was. I wished Sauske good luck and winked at Ino who once again hid her face. I then went up to Iruka and thanked him for teaching me all these years.
Iruka just gave a wry smile and just waved me off since we both knew he hadn't taught me anything that I hadn't basically mastered in a matter of weeks.
I walked out and went back home where I found Tsunade in bed with Shizune hovering over her while she tried to deal with her hangover.
"Well Tsunade, I got my assignment to apprentice under you." I said in a low voice.
"That's great, we'll have to go celebrate later." She said with a tired voice. "Maybe after the world stops hurting my brain."
"How about you just rest for today. I'll go and take some assignments for now and then later tonight you can teach me some adult things." I said in a teasing manner.
"You brat, you're two decades to young to be worried about learning anything like that." Tsunade said before falling back with a groan.
"Why I was referring to some jutsu, I wonder what you could be thinking of?" I asked in mock innocence.
"Just go already." Tsunade waved me off while her other hand covered her eyes.
"Okay see you later." I told her before kissing her on the cheek and leaving quietly only to hear a quiet "cheeky brat" before the door closed.
I then headed to the hokage's office to receive my first mission from the hokage as was customary.
The receptionist stopped me and got my information before going in and letting the hokage know I was there to get my mission. I sat in the reception room and got to see Konohamaru get carried out by Ebisu. He was yelling about how he would be back. Apparently meeting with Naruto hadn't quite stopped him from trying to defeat the hokage.
After that bit I was finally called in to receive my first assignment as a genin.
"Hi gramps." I said as I walked over to my chair and sat down. I grabbed a candy as the hokage let out a sigh.
"One of these days you're going to need to at least show some respect to me." He chuckled.
"Well I figured that receiving a D rank mission, even if it is my first official mission, isn't really that huge of a thing. Also you'll always be gramps to me." I smiled.
"Hmph. Well in any case here is your first mission." He told me as he passed me a scroll that I opened and looked at for a second before rolling it up and putting it in my pouch.
"By the way, where is Tsunade, she is supposed to be here with you to get your first mission?"
"She's at home with a hangover. I didn't want to bother with her and I figured you didn't want to deal with her when she is hungover. So I saved us both the trouble and came by myself."
"Good idea." He nodded in appreciation while chuckling. "Well off you go then."
"Bye gramps, I'll come visit again sometime." I waved to him as I left to go help weed some old ladies garden.
After I found the house I went and let the contractor know I was there for the job. She was pretty nice and led me to the backyard. She also let me know that she had some lemonade for me if I got thirsty. I thanked her and told her that it was best to enjoy the lemonade as a reward after I had finished with the work, to which she nodded in approval before going back inside.
I then summoned three shadow clones and we all got to work. We finished everything in a half hour and the garden looked absolutely glowing by the time I was done. I have to hand it to wood chakra, it gives me a green thumb like no other.
When I went inside and washed my hands and drank the cup of lemonade the old lady had left out for me said old lady came and asked me if their was a problem. I simply said that there wasn't, I was just finished with the job. I swear I never saw someone go bug eyed like that before when she went to check the garden. She gave me the stamp showing I had finished the job and I told her that her lemonade was wonderful. She just smiled and gave me a small jar of the lemonade to take with me. I waved to her as I was leaving and went back to the hokage's office to turn in my mission to the missions counter.
I then took another mission right away and left. This one was moving goods for a store and was worth 7,000 ryo instead of the 5,000 from my first mission. I was back again in an hour having finished the job. I kept repeatedly taking jobs until it was time for me to go back home. I had earned 70,000 ryo in a single day and it made Tsunade ask if I had mugged someone.
I decided to spend the next week on perfecting my Ninjutsu so I could use it with no hand signs. I figured it was best to perfect what I had first before I tried to work on anything else.
I spent the next few months doing missions and training. I of course learned from Tsunade how to make the seal she used and had to stop using chakra for over a month and a half in order to make it. She was worried about me since instead of just using two thirds of my chakra to make it I used all of it.
To kind of explain what I mean, the seal only requires two thirds of a normal shinobi's chakra to form over the course of three years. For a shinobi like me and Tsunade it would normally take a full year to form the seal. People use only two thirds because using all of your chakra makes a shinobi even weaker than a sickly child. It can also cause a collapse of the chakra coils in a normal shinobi if they aren't very careful with their actions.
I of course was anything but a normal shinobi. I used meditation to be constantly filling up my chakra. I stayed in meditation and focused all my chakra into my seal every second I could other than the times that I needed to eat or do other bodily things. I cut down on sleep to only three hours a day and focused the rest of my time on meditation and filling my seal. It took me a month and a half of what felt like pure torture, but I had finally gotten my mark and I stopped using so much chakra for it. I instead focused on using two thirds to continue adding to it like a normal shinobi would and used the last third to go back to my chakra coils. I was now fully functional again.
Because my chakra was already so thick using only a third was already the same as using a full amount for anyone my age. So I went back to doing jobs and training. Because of me having less chakra to deal with I was able to be a lot more precise with it. I also found that while I did slow down on missions since I could only make two shadow clones at a time, I did find out that the loss of chakra allowed me to grow more physically and caused me to have to think outside the box more.
As an example of the thinking outside the box, I decided to have multiple missions to walk the Inuzuka clans dogs at the same time and had Herashi, Tsun and Dere help me to keep everyone together in a group as we went around the village at a nice jog. The dogs loved it and the wolves liked to be able to lead a pack. I think it was their instincts taking over a bit.
I had found out during my training that it was possible to combine together with one of the twins to become an almost werewolf kind of creature. Though when I tried to combine with both at the same time we became a kind of ultra wolf that would end up running through our chakra ridiculously fast. I was able to only hold it for a minute at most when I was only using a third of my chakra and could use it for ten minutes when I used all my chakra, though after the ten minutes we would be thrown apart and would be completely drained.
Sauske would come around to watch me train and talk a bit about what he was doing. He found Naruto to be an annoying brat and Sakura had gone back to trying to get him to like her just like before. I swear the second I'm not around she's back at it.
I told Sauske about Naruto's history a bit and explained to him how the village mostly showed hatred for him. He felt a bit bad about how he had been treating him, but the next day when he came back he told me that one day he was going to beat some sense into that idiots head. Well at least he knows about Naruto now and at least has some picture of how Naruto's head works.
As for Sakura, well I don't really have an explanation for her other then to say that she be a bone headed and stubborn hoe. I also told Sauske to be careful of anything she offers him since it might be laced with an aphrodisiac. He was very worried about that until I got him an antidote.
My date with Ino went amazing. It wasn't until two weeks after we were assigned to our teachers that she had time to go on a date with me and since then we would meet up to either talk or just enjoy being around each other.
For my first date we went up to a hill with some trees in bloom, curtesy of me and my wood chakra, and then we set down a blanket that overlooked the town while snacking on some food I had made. Ino liked most of it even if some of the dishes were things she was unfamiliar with.
I had learned cooking in most of the worlds restaurants in my past life and was called the wandering culinary magician. Apparently someone started a rumor that I was seeking out a dish that could even satisfy the gods so I could enter Nirvana while alive.
I also brought a guitar and played for a while. We just sat there watching the village from on top of the hill and Ino listened to the peaceful sound of me playing my guitar and enjoyed the moment.
After that we went back before dark and I walked Ino to her house. She tried to tell me she could walk back on her own, but blushed when I told her that a guy should walk his girlfriend back home after a date if only to show he cared about her regardless of how strong she was. I also said that even if she was strong she was also a girl and should just let me treat her like one every once in a while.
When we got back to her house she fidgeted for a bit before giving me a quick kiss and running inside. I think I saw her mother smiling from a window on the upper floor while the opposite window had her father scowling. Of course that was probably just me imaging things since they immediately disappeared the moment I looked towards them. It's also probably my imagination that I feel a bloodlust every time I walk by her house now.
Ino had gotten quite a bit bolder since then and would often give me a quick kiss or hug whenever we met. I liked how she would act all shy whenever I would hug her and give her a kiss on the cheek or neck from behind. Tsunade got a little bit angry at me for all the PDA and started complaining about it.
I shocked them both when I asked why she was so angry. If she wanted I would give her hugs and kisses too. Shizune just laughed at their shocked faces and said that it wasn't uncommon for a powerful ninja to occasionally have multiple wives and that she expected me to be gentle with her when I came after her. The looks she got caused both me and Shizune to burst into laughter.
I think after that both Ino and Tsunade ended up coming to some sort of agreement because they would both give me hugs, and while Ino would give me kisses on the lips Tsunade would kiss my forehead or cheek. Shizune would just harass me by wearing something provocative or just messing with me. I of course was just entering puberty and was still dealing with my own urges which were random to say the least. Sometimes I would not get any reaction at all even when something was going on that should cause one and other times I would go erect for no reason at all.
I did of course get revenge on Shizune for all her teasing though. I would repeatedly walk around shirtless and with the exercises that I've done for years I had an amazing body. With my good looks and the looks I would give her she would end up giving a look of barely held back yearning. I think it helped that I already had the mindset of an adult, or at least the knowledge and understanding of one, and had already married multiple women in my last life. I was honestly not against being in another relationship like that since I already knew that because of my existence as a Senju I could die at any time. So why hold back and not do what I want?
Plus with how many people die all the time it is actually encouraged by the village leaders of every village to procreate and boost the number of children. It is also common knowledge that having a child with someone who has a special bloodline could actually boost a persons status in a village since that child has a 50 -50 chance of also having that same bloodline. That's one of the reasons why those with Sharingan or Byakugan protect their clans so fiercely. So I'm expecting to have plenty of sex and have a ton of children, though hopefully not as many kids as I had before, that was just awkward.
