When we got back the two ANBU left to report back to the ANBU headquarters and get new uniforms and get debriefed. They received odd looks from everyone, but they didn't seem to care.

I was greeted with looks of curiosity and only a few people actually recognized me. The pack of wolves behind me however made a number of people feel nervous since they were a lot more dangerous looking than the Inuzuka's dogs.

Once I reached the hokage's office I was greeted by piles of paperwork that I immediately set about working on. I had the twins take the pack to the Inuzuka compound with a letter explaining about how the wolves were all interested in becoming stronger and potentially finding partners of their own and hoped that Tsume could see if any of her clan who didn't already have a partner could interest any of them. I also sent a check with 5,000 ryo to pay for their initial cost to take care of.

I finished the paperwork right before the office doors burst open and I had to deal with all of the people who needed to see me for various issues.

I met with everyone and wrote down all of their issues to work through when I had a chance. By the time I was done meeting with people it was already night. I went home and checked on all of my wives and was happy when they welcomed me home with open arms. Everyone was interested in my new look and was surprised to find out I had mastered sage mode. Tsunade was a bit upset that I had managed it in a month when it took her years.

I just laughed and told her that I had only mastered it so fast because I had promised my beautiful wives that I would be there for them when they gave birth. That got me a smack on my arm and a warm smile.

The next day was spent working through the various problems in the village. I had to send people to fix various things such as broken street lights or a wall that had crumbled from an old building. I also had to assign any A rank or S rank missions personally since they were of high importance and often had information that couldn't be handled by the mission department. I had a couple of missions that I had to overlook and sent a number of letters to either reject certain requests for missions that required illegal operations that would negatively effect the village. I had a lot to do and had to spend a week working on it all.

After that week of battling with paperwork and straightening things out I got to go and watch the various events around the village. I had introduced a number of things to the village such as sports like soccer and basketball that had become popular. It was even spreading to other places and had turned into a huge fad in the capital that had betting and had players that were now celebrities from being good at the sport they played in.

Unfortunately it also had its problems since with all the money involved in the sports now it had drawn the attention of various criminal organizations and they had begun to enter the village since the sport had originated from here. I had to send some ANBU to crack down on any of the organizations members who were becoming a bit too overconfident since I wasn't here to challenge them during the past month.

They calmed down after that and I didn't go after them anymore than that since I understood that even criminal organizations had their purposes. It was fine as long as they didn't do anything unreasonable.

I also made various card games and board games for people to play. The most interesting thing was when I made a printing press with Lo. He was very happy when I started a printing company in the capital and the village and had some ninja who were into information gathering run the operations in those places to make a newspaper. I put the both of us as the inventors of the printing press and Lo was touched to know that his name was going to go down in history.

I had to increase security around his place when ninja started to show up trying to steal information on his projects. Most of them were caught in his traps, but a few had managed to escape and that meant they had a better chance of getting past them in the future.

I had a few assassins try to go after me because of my villages rise in power after I became hokage. I captured them all and found out who sent them and found at least one from most villages.

The one which confused me the most was the assassin that said he was from the village of the land of hot water. Those guys were pacifists, so of course I found out from him that the village itself didn't send him, but that he was a missing nin that had been hired by one of the clans that lived there since they were worried about my village stealing away their customers and making their village die. Since they didn't do violent missions anymore they lived off of their visitors coming for their hot springs.

I wrote a letter to their hot water lord and got permission to see their jutsu library in exchange for letting go of the matter with the assassin since if word got out that there was assassins in their lands when they had swore off violence it would ruin their image. They also couldn't take the chance that I would block trade with their country because of this.

I also got permission for the same from all of the lands that sent assassins. The only one that I asked something different from was the village hidden by a waterfall. Those guys have hero water.

I got permission from their lords to come see their jutsu libraries, but the kages had different answers. The Raikage, the Mizukage, and the other big kages weren't all that surprising since they all thought they were the greatest.

The mizukage never actually sent an assassin since she was still dealing with the aftermath of losing the fourth mizukage. The assassin admitted to being sent by one of the families to test out my abilities since the current mizukage refused to send one.

I of course just laughed at that. I sent the responses that the kage's who turned down the agreement to their lords and kept the mizukage's since I knew Mei was freaking out about the situation as is and felt that this was a good way to mess with her a bit.

The sound village also denied me from reading their jutsu library. I just sent a letter to the sound lord and told him that the next time his country attacked our village I would order every ninja in the village to go to his country and kill every last one of his citizens until all that was left was corpses left in a land of desolation and that the snake pedo wouldn't be able to save his ass from my rage. I figured that would get his attention and make my point.

I sent Mei a new letter asking what I should take from her since her country sent an assassin after me and that this was a rather serious diplomatic issue. I laughed so hard when she returned with a serious letter that said she was sorry for the actions of her countrymen and that if need be she would accept punishment on their behalf.

I sent another letter while trying not to laugh and told her that to make up for the assassin incident she would have to go on a date with me.

I never got a return letter and I'm sure they were beyond confused by my request. They probably figured it was a prank and were waiting for a return letter that was serious. Or it was also possible that they thought I was making fun of her since she was so touchy about her romantic life.

Speaking of romantic life, my two wives finally gave birth. Shizune and Tsunade decided to induce labor on the same day and gave birth at the same time. It took Shizune 4 hours to give birth to a healthy baby boy that she named Aro and Tsunade gave birth an hour later to a girl she named Tsua. They were both healthy and energetic little bundles of joy.

I was very happy and threw a party to celebrate. I spent some of my fortune and bought a bunch of ingredients and cooked a feast for all of our friends and family. A lot of people came and were happy for the occasion. They were all surprised to find out how good of a cook I was and Choji insisted I sell him my recipes. I had made enough food to feed half the village and that was barely enough to satisfy everyone.

Later that night I was laying in bed and told Ino that when she gave birth I think that we would just do a celebration with just our families since this time I may have overreacted. She just laughed at me and told me that was fine.

A couple of months later she also gave birth to a little boy she named Iroma.

I spent a good deal of time with my family and only left to look through the jutsu libraries of the villages that had agreed to that payment as apology for sending assassins after me.

The villages that had denied that instead sent money or goods to me as apology. I wasn't even mad, though when the Raikage sent me a scroll of rap from Killer Bee that was possibly insulting or flattering depending on how you interpreted it I decided to have some revenge by hanging it up in the reception area where everyone could see it and read it.

The look on the ninja who delivered it was priceless. He tried to get me to take it down in embarrassment until I told him. "Yo boyo, it is a payment from your Raikage to earn back our peace, don't mess it up at the least, or he'll have you beaten til you're limp like fleece."

He stared at me before face palming and just leaving. I was going to enjoy this bit of hell for the Raikage. Guy was acting like a grade a jerk and thought I wouldn't get revenge for it.

It took another month until Mei finally got back to me. She told me that I shouldn't joke around like that and that as a kage I should take matters like this seriously.

I sent another letter back saying that I was serious and then I sent a picture of myself shirtless while wearing my hokage's hat with the letter.

I didn't receive another letter from her since it seemed she was either too shocked or didn't want to kill the hope. She might also be investigating me and trying to decide whether she could go for a guy with multiple wives. Not sure, but whatever the reason I'm sure she'll give me a proper answer at some point.

A year later and a ridiculous amount of troublesome paperwork later and it was time for Jiraya and Naruto to return.

The chunin exams came and passed with the rest of the main cast becoming chunin. Sakura was well on her way to becoming a proper powerhouse and the rest of the group who had failed in the last exams had also fixed what they had been lacking. Surprisingly Hinata had the most growth since she was able to make decisions properly and efficiently. She was still very shy though and sometimes needed a push to get going.

Ino had taken to being a mother like a fish to water and wanted to become as strong as possible so that she could be considered a cool mom. She had smacked me when I pointed out to her that parents are never cool to their kids and used her parents as an example.

I got to enjoy this bit of time, but the Akatsuki were making more and more moves every day and it was starting to reach the point that I was starting to get irritated. Itachi had started to send me letters with some information and I would send one back using his crow summons. He had given up on saving his brother from being gay when I had decided to have sex with Sauske outdoors with the crow watching. You can imagine the hell that happened when Itachi saw his brother turn into a sister.

I explained how it was a new technique that allowed others to switch sexes back and forth and that Sauske had accidentally turned into a girl and decided to keep the ability to switch since it was useful.

Sauske and I had found out from Tsunade doing a check up that Sauske could actually get pregnant, but that the reason he hadn't so far was because of him switching back to his male side. If he wanted to have a child he would need to stay as a female for the whole pregnancy. Sauske decided he didn't want a child right now since he was still focusing on his training.

The next year went by peacefully with Naruto only challenging me twice for the position of hokage. I beat him both times. The first time he had tried to use his shadow clones to gang up on me for a surprise attack, but he didn't know that I had already noticed him and had replaced myself with another clone made of water. I had filled my clone with a bunch of water balloons filled with terrible smelling oils and small explosive tags and when Naruto attacked with his clones I set off my bombs and covered him and his clones in the oil.

The second time was a proper challenge and I beat him quickly by grabbing his arm and twisting it behind his back before pushing him to the ground and sitting on his back with his arm trapped behind me.

I decided to punish him by eating ramen on top of him. I of course decided to treat him to some ramen after he promised to stop trying to fight me for the position. I'm not entirely sure he was listening after hearing about the ramen, but meh, whatever.
