In my mind I saw the game screen with a loading sign. It then had a side screen with a list of abilities I could have. I of course grabbed the element bending ability. It was basically the same as what Benjamin uses, only mine required me to use actual martial arts types of movements. Fuck you Ang. My ability was also much more flexible compared to Benjamin's abilities as well as having more elements to choose from compared to his four basic ones. I liked it a lot.
I went on to a slightly more deep slumber and when I finally woke up my eyes snapped open only to see everything in extreme detail.
"Whoa, this is amazing." I said out loud before turning towards where the Cullens were standing on the other side of the room trying to not make any sudden movements. I called up my status screen only to be shocked out of my mind.

"Well this is going to be awkward for a bit." I said to myself. I was a lot stronger than I had thought I would be after the change.
"How do you feel Alex?" Carlisle asked in a quiet voice so as not to startle me.
"I'm fine, but my abilities are out of whack to the point that I don't even dare to move right now or I might actually cause the house to explode."
"Are you really that powerful?" Emmet said in doubt.
"I could beat you in arm wrestling when I was human. Do you really think that the change didn't increase that."
"Holy crap you're right. That must be some stupid level strength you got going on right now." Emmet said while taking a step back in horror
"From what I can tell it was an increase of 100 times my base stats with only a little bit of growth for the soul. I also now have an ability. I tried to guess the growth I would have after the change by going off you guys, but it is way off the mark for my calculations. Either that or you guys were all seriously weak as humans."
"Oh, what might your ability be?" Carlisle asked curiously. "You also had a mixture of different venoms added into you and it might have thrown off your calculations." Carlisle had a contemplative look.
I slowly turned towards them and moved my legs off the bed at a super slow pace. I then slowly stood up before testing my muscles. I stretched my muscles before looking back up and slowly going through some martial arts moves for air and then some for water and a couple other elements. "It is elemental control." I said with a grin as the moves caused those elements to appear in the air around me.
"That is so cool." Emmet said in awe.
"That is indeed quite the ability." Carlisle agreed. "How is the thirst for you?"
"It is bearable, though I can definitely feel it. I can control myself just fine, but I think it might be best to go hunting here soon." I told him as I went through movements to test out my body. I put my foot through the floor once and then made sure to use a lot less force. After ten minutes of getting used to my body I finally had control of myself. I then grabbed my blanket between my hands and slowly pulled it outwards until I saw it start to tear a bit.
"Okay I have the amount of force I should put out to avoid hurting others and I can move without putting my limbs through anything. Now I just need to work on speed. Can one of you move across the room at a normal humans speed."
"You what now?" Everyone said in shock.
"Yes I know, shocking how fast I learned to control myself. Because of my abilities this isn't the first time I've had to readjust to increases in my physique. So it doesn't take me as long to regain control. Same with my mental state." I said with a sigh. "Now would one of you please show me the proper speed to move at so I can correct myself and not end up moving so fast it causes normal humans to notice. It would be ridiculous to go through all this trouble only to have the Volturi come back for me just because I couldn't control my walking speed."
Edward nodded and began to move across the room at a painfully slow rate.
"Oh god this is going to be terrible." I muttered. This of course caused everyone to smile at my discomfort. They must feel that way all the time.
I started walking across the room away from everyone until I reached the point I could move at the correct speed normally without it looking awkward. I then began to move in a slightly more awkward way in order to appear less graceful until I was able to move just the same as I used to. I also began to speak at a lower and slower tone of voice.
"That is rather amazing Alex." Carlisle clapped. "If you didn't have red eyes and glittering skin I wouldn't think you had changed at all."
"Thanks, it'll take me a little bit more practice, probably another week or so, but I think I will be able to move like this naturally. This is what I was telling you guys about moving like a normal human."
I then looked at each of them one by one. I had just given each of them a cursory look, but now that I focused on them I could finally see the various imperfections that were invisible to the naked eye.
Everyone still looked attractive, but I could also see the signs of past fights and damage. I could also spot the slight imperfections such as the slightly too sharp jaw Edward had, or the slight tilt from Emmet having one leg a little shorter than the other. Jasper was the most shocking, he was covered in bite marks from his time handling new born vampires.
I looked into Jaspers eyes and said. "Have you ever thought about using vampire venom to create vampire tattoos?"
"What? I, uh, no. I never thought of that." Jasper said in confusion.
"From the way you were holding yourself I assume you believed I would attack you because of having all those bite marks. I do admit that my subconscious tried to make me act defensive, but I know you are a good man Jasper, so I think that if you use venom to act as a sort of ink to turn those bite marks into a type of vampire tattoo it would make you seem a lot less dangerous. Though maybe have tattoos that are still is a little manly. No unicorns now." I joked with him and caused Jasper to smile.
"See, I told you guys Alex would be fine." Alice said with a smile.
"Yep." I let out a big grin. "Now if you guys don't mind I think it is time to stop practicing how to be human and find out what my new body can do."
"Oh oh, I have to see this." Emmet said before rushing outside. Everyone else followed him, though at a much slower pace.
"I almost think that Emmet is more excited for this than I am." I joked while walking outside.
"Okay." I said while crouching down. "First thing is the high jump."
I jumped upwards with all my might and went straight up like a rocket. I just kept going and going. Um, am I going to stop before I hit the atmosphere? I thought to myself after going up for over twenty seconds. I felt myself finally start to slow down before finally coming to the top of my jump. I had already passed the top of the clouds a few seconds ago and when I looked at my skin in the sunlight I saw myself sparkle. "Fucking sparkles." I sighed before falling back towards the earth below.
I spread my arms and flipped myself over and could see everything around. I could see for a long distance from the ground, but from this high I could see Forks and even La Push. I could even focus in on one spot and almost zoom in on what I was looking at. It was breath taking, well it would be if I needed to breathe, but it was amazing none the less. This view must be one of the reasons people do skydiving. I certainly wouldn't mind staying up here for longer. Gravity unfortunately said otherwise.
I hit the ground and made a small crater a few feet off from where I was when I jumped. Emmet cheered out loud in excitement while Esme called down to me to ask if I was ok.
"I'm ok Esme. Thanks for worrying though."
I crawled out of the hole and then decided to test speed next.
I ran straight into the woods as fast as I could. I was moving so fast that everything around me seemed to be frozen. It wasn't even where it wasn't just moving slowly, it was actually frozen.
I ran up to a bear and decided to feed for the first time. I know that normally a newborn vampire would rip apart his prey, but I decided to try to feed as elegantly as I could. I walked over to the bear and dragged my fingernail across the side of his throat. It took a little while of me standing there before time clicked forward a second and boy was it a scary second. The bears head literally flew off and hit a tree before causing both the tree and the bears head to explode like they had been bombs. Some blood started to spray out before I once again sped up a bit by recreating the feeling I had when running and causing the world to once again freeze.
I leaned down and started to suck on the artery connected to the bears neck. The bears blood wasn't very tasty, but it was still palatable. It kind of tasted a little fishy with a honey aftertaste that wasn't all that bad, but it wasn't anything to write home about.
I then ran back to the Cullens who were still turning their heads towards where I had left from. I moved over to them and decided to see if they could notice me at this speed. They obviously didn't since nobody reacted to anything I did.
I then picked up Emmet and put him in Rose's arms in a princess carry while he wrapped his arms around her in a romantic embrace. I placed Esme in Carlisle's arms with them both standing and Carlisle's arms wrapped around her waist. I then took Alice and put her on Jasper's back with one arm wrapped around his throat and her legs wrapped around his waist. Her other hand was raised in the air. I then went inside and got a cowboy hat and a lasso I had bought for fun a while back and put them on Alice before I pulled out a chair and sat down. Yes I did have a cowboy get up, no I don't regret it even a little.
After what felt like a minute everyone went back to normal speed.
Emmet panicked and grabbed onto Rose who looked irritated at the sudden weight in her arms. She then proceeded to drop him in irritation once she saw it was him.
Carlisle and Esme just looked at each other and then looked at the others without letting each other go. I think Carlisle actually pulled her closer to him with a slight smile.
Alice just whooped and said "giddy up" while swinging the Lasso.
"Well that answers the speed and I really think I should avoid testing the strength since it would more than likely cause the entire area to become barren with a single punch."
"Yeah." Edward nodded in agreement before frowning in confusion. "Did you just feed?"
"Yeah, I met a bear while I was running and decided to feed before I came back and picked on you guys a little. I still remember Emmet carrying me in a princess carry and decided to get my revenge, not to mention that Rose is obviously the boss in that relationship. I like Carlisle and Esme and figured they wouldn't mind cuddling a bit. Alice was just because I thought she would enjoy it."
"I most certainly did cow poke." Alice said in her best southern drawl. It made us all smile while Jasper tried to hold back his snickering at her terrible southern drawl.
So how fast were you moving? Carlisle asked.
"Well I basically froze time, so that's a thing now." We then heard a bang from the distance causing everyone to look in that direction.
"That would be the bear I ate." I said with a smile.
"Holy crap." Emmet said with a shocked face. "You're basically Superman without the ability to fly or the laser vision."
"Emmet, I can use the wind elements to fly and I'm sure I can use fire and lightning to make laser vision. I am superman."
"You're right." Emmet cheered causing us all to smile.
"So what do you plan to do now?" Carlisle asked with a weak smile.
"I'll just keep doing the same as I always have. Only this time I'll have a lot more time and the ability to do some slightly more dangerous projects that I couldn't do when I was human. Though I think I'm going to need to get a better computer to keep up with me or it'll end up freezing when I write my next novel. If I need to feed I can always take a second to run to wherever for a snack."
I then froze time and ran to Africa, it turns out that I can run on water because of how fast I am. I grabbed a lion and ate that before grabbing another and carrying it back with me. It died the second time went back to normal due to its heart giving out on it.
"Lion anyone?" I asked with a smile while Alice just leapt on it and dug right in.
"I see you weren't lying about the whole time freeze thing. I can even smell the savannah on you." Carlisle said with a smile while shaking his head.
"Yep. Well if anyone needs me they can either call or just come over. I'm going to go and start experimenting on stuff. If I need anyone to test anything I'll come over to your guys place with it."
"That will be fine, and also thank you once again for all your help. You have been helping us a great deal and have been bringing a lot of light into our lives. I just wanted you to know that." Carlisle said with a smile and a nod. Esme gave me a hug before everyone left.
I went and froze time again for a bit and went to all of the libraries in the world and read all of their books. Having the perk of understanding every language on the planet was wonderful in these sorts of situations. I fed when I felt the need and learned everything I could. I even learned every state secret in the world. It all happened in what felt like years for me, but was in reality a single hour to the rest of the world. I had to occasionally unfreeze time to use a computer to read some things. It was interesting since I would use a ton of computers all at once with each one open to a different page so that I could read the whole thing while time was frozen.
I did try human blood once from a guy who was about to kill a girl. I figured he wouldn't be missed. I do admit that the taste of human blood was beyond delicious. It tasted like the best tasting buffet I had ever been to and I could definitely see the appeal when compared to animal blood. However I decided to avoid drinking human blood unless necessary or if I was going to kill a human anyways. I also visited various vampires in the world just so I could recognize them. I didn't bother meeting the one's that I would meet soon, like the Denali clan and the Volturi. I left a letter in Jane's pocket saying that I had changed successfully and had got myself a speed ability. I also told her that I enjoyed the kiss, but that my lips were more to the left.
I then went back home and let time go back to normal before starting to work on my projects and experiments. I had finally reached level 100, but unfortunately the new points didn't scale with my change to a vampire and thus didn't make much of a dent other than to increase my physical defense from 1000 to 1600. It was something at least.
