Summary: Freaky Friday with a Twilight Twist. New Moon AU.
As much as Bella and Edward love each other, they can't possibly understand what the other's life is like.
On Bella's 18th birthday, instead of a paper cut, a switch is about to make Forks even weirder.
How will Bella cope with suddenly being a 104-year-old mind-reading vampire in love with her singer? And how will Edward cope with being a human in love with a vampire?

Chapter 6

How was she a vampire? How had it happened and why couldn't she remember anything after her birthday?

Had Edward changed her? But then why wasn't he around?

If she was a newborn, then why were her eyes gold and not red as she'd been told they'd be?

Had she experienced similar amnesia as Alice? Was that why she couldn't remember being changed?

Bella dug through her memories and found something most unexpected.

She did remember the change, and she remembered being a newborn, but the memories felt like they belonged to someone else. In fact, the memories lined up perfectly with the experiences Edward had shared with her.

Carefully, she moved off the couch which was similar to the leather one Edward had, but it wasn't the exact same one either. Everything in the room was slightly off and distinctly more feminine.

A framed photo in the bookshelf caught her eye, and when she thought of looking at it, it was already in her hand. It was a small sepia photograph, obviously quite old, and when she saw the subjects of it, she would have dropped it hadn't her vampire hands been so sure and certain of each movement.

Carlisle and Esme were instantly recognizable, but so was the image of herself wearing clothes from a different time. She could even remember when the photo had been taken. They'd commissioned it when the three of them lived in Rochester, some time after she'd returned to them.

But she had never lived in Rochester.

Her mind startled when there was a knock on her door, but physically, she'd already anticipated Alice since she'd heard both her thoughts and movements.

"Bella? Are you okay?"
