Summary: Freaky Friday with a Twilight Twist. New Moon AU.
As much as Bella and Edward love each other, they can't possibly understand what the other's life is like.
On Bella's 18th birthday, instead of a paper cut, a switch is about to make Forks even weirder.
How will Bella cope with suddenly being a 104-year-old mind-reading vampire in love with her singer? And how will Edward cope with being a human in love with a vampire?

Chapter 7

Edward stared at his reflection and even touched the mirror to make sure it was real. The light in the bathroom wasn't particularly flattering and he couldn't stop looking at his visible pores and the dusting of stubble on his chin.

Green eyes he hadn't seen for over ninety years took in his human skin texture in awe, and his normally unruly hair was worse than ever, looking as if he'd tossed and turned in his sleep.

Even further, he actually let out a chuckle when he identified a new building feeling in his lower body. He'd forgotten what it felt like to actually need to go to the bathroom.

Once he'd dealt with everything he needed to during his what Bella would call "human moment" he went back to the bedroom and searched out his wallet which he knew would be in the bottom of the backpack by the door.

He pulled out the driver's license and looked closely at it. He was used to fake Ids stating he was born that or that year, but it wasn't his birthday that caused him to drop his arm to his side, the card falling to the floor with a light plonk.

The name read Edward Anthony Swan.

"What the fuck?" he said under his breath.

What did it all mean? Why was he human and why did he have memories he'd assume was Bella's but knew them as his own? He could say that Renée Dwyer was his mom and that Charlies Swan was his dad without lying, but he also remembered his entire life as a vampire.

His eyes fell to the clock and he remembered he had to get to school. He had to find Bella and he hoped to god that she could recognize him.

Suddenly he heard a very familiar sound through the still-open window. It was the sound of the engine of his Volvo, and he turned to sprint down the stairs to the front door.

I think it's time for them to meet each other in their new forms :P
