"You are overdoing it" Is what Reimu told her, it was advice coming from a legend, the Tenth saint, known to follow orders from no church. There is a joke among Shintoists saying that Reimu would rather go to hell and back than to listen to higher ups, well now Kaori had confirmation.

Marisa in the other hand just offered her mushrooms, her pupils were very dilated, there was no way she would eat those mushrooms.

"Exterminating youkai should not be taken seriously, youkai always take it as seriously as you" Reimu ate a mushroom, she seemed unaffected by them "You had the fortune to never face a youkai stronger than you"

Marisa laughed "Or they out right liked her… I mean Yuuka likes you, you survived!" Yeah the mushrooms were hallucinogenic.

"I fail to see how breaking every bone in my body is a show of affection"

"Her species heals wounds instantly, she does not understand how gruesome those injuries are…" Marisa said while trying to hold herself from falling "Look have you watched any of those old Godzilla movies?"

"I like Shin Godzilla" Kaori replied "But what do you mean?"

"Would you call Godzilla the villain of the movie?" Marisa said "Would you blame Godzilla for what they did?"

"Of course not, she is just too large for the wor… Oh"

"Exactly, toss bombs over Godzilla and it will burn you with its radiation breath" Marisa said while mimicking the scene. She seemed more sober now.

"She treats it like a game if you do… Did she say anything that sounded too odd?" Reimu said while getting up, she was checking in a small library of (obviously stolen) tomes from the SDM, it even had the vampire seal on them.

"She spoke in an odd accent by the end of it… May thy blade chip and shatter" Kaori recalled

Reimu pulled out a thick book "Dune, she was fighting with Dune rules… You could have yielded by the first time she hurt you"

Kaori held her wounded wrist, it could have ended there. She treated it as a more serious fight so did Yuuka. "That is how you beat her? A game?"

Marisa nodded "When I went into Mugenkan I told her When I left you I was but the learner, now I am the Master" She said that in English.

Reimu laughed "Only mom fought her head on and won. You are welcome to try"

Kaori was writing all of that down "Your mother…"

"Not Sariel" Said Marisa, nope she was still high. "The saint with an axe! The Brahmim-Kshatriya… Reimu still fears her"

"You fear her too" Reimu retorted quickly

"Can I just ask her to fight Yuuka?" Kaori said this without thinking, after all that name rang familiar, that was an avatar of protection, not the father like Yuuka but the son willing to protect and save humanity.

Both Marisa and Reimu laughed.

"Reimom is off planet fighting threats to the universe itself, doing missionary work in different galaxies" Marisa said in a more serious tone "Sometimes Yuuka joins her… That friendship is the only thing keeping her from making all flower life stop growing in the planet"

Kaori tried to think of what food did not come from flowering plants… Yuuka could very well make the entire planet starve if she desired. She proved that to the Anglicans, the potato crop died without her protective spells in Ireland, ONE crop, now imagine what would happen if that were to happen in a global scale.

"Remember, fairies live from what they see. Fairy tales exist for a reason" Reimu said "They seem immortal, but it is just that their way of dying is different"

Yuuka was not that much of a villain, she was simply a different species, a species that needed no food or water, no sleep or rest, their bodies were just extensions of themselves, fairies need entertainment more than anything, without entertainment a fairy fades away, boredom is the only way of killing them. Yuuka is behaving as expected. Of course Sanae would see them as monsters, she grew up in the human world just as Kaori. Reimu though, she has always lived among youkai, she understood their nature as well as she understood hers. No church would mess with Reimu for that reason.

"Why are you here?" Reimu asked again "I forgot… Marisa has some strong shrooms"

Oh so Reimu did get off from them too, perhaps in a much lesser scale due to her divine status. "I came to train…"

Reimu got a bo-shuriken out of her sleeve and handed it to Kaori "Go get me some ice, then we will talk training. I keep it in a cave near the pond on the back"

Kaori nodded and took the needle, she walked out to the back, there was a pond with a very large turtle taking a nap at the edge. He opened an eye and looked at Kaori "Good afternoon"

Kaori did a small bow "Afternoon… Reimu sent me for some ice"

The turtle laughed "With just a needle… Yeah you will have some fun in there"

The cave had a cold feeling to it, Kaori went in without thinking much. She found herself down an elevator, it was a metallic building, this did not look like a cave at all. Demons began attacking Kaori out of nowhere.

She tried running away from them but more began showing, she grabbed the needle and stabbed one in the eye, then another. Her weapons were still worked on, that needle was everything she had. Well at least some demons were armed.

Kaori managed to grab a pistol from one of the demons, this thing was not built to keep demons locked into the cave, it was built there to keep people like Kaori from coming in. This was what Reimu called training, going into a hell portal and exterminating demons left and right. These demons were not friendly, they were out for blood, drones created to keep saints out of their hell realm. Yeah Reimu would rather walk into hell than working things out with the church.

After hours of killing demons Kaori finally made it to Pandemonium, the city was much different from what she expected. Large tall buildings covered in precious metals, demons richly dressed all around, shops and theaters. And ruins, a lot of them.

Entire fields of tents where demons came out to attempt and attack Kaori, even though they had no reason to, they just attacked. She managed to break free from them and got into a convenience store. She picked a bag of ice, and left the needle on the counter. The clerk, a young demon just accepted the payment.

Honestly Kaori would have questioned this place, or even tried to fight all the demons at once, but Gensokyo had proved her that even within the same place not all youkai are the same, one cannot fight them all the entire time. Also her own skill had improved, she would have not walked into hell with all her equipment, now she saw why Reimu would much rather deal with demons.

Kaori got out of hell with a nearly molten bag of ice, put it over the table and fell to rest on the floor.

"… We got the ice from the freezer hours ago" Marisa said "Reimu has it there because the only electrical outlet is in the entrance"

"Where is my needle?" Reimu looked at Kaori

"Used it to pay for the ice…"

"You gave Makai a holy needle?! Not only that but you gave them a needle with Yuuka away of her home"

Marisa was already searching her bag "This will be fun"

Reimu got up and stretched, she grabbed her gohei and the marble orb on a small pedestal.
