Basically a story that connects a deleted scene from Tapestry. And thanks to browsing on Tumblr and looking up Daforge, I got a new shipping.

After the events of Datalore Lore was left floating through space. Eventually he is pulled into the gravitational well of a distant star, and gets dragged through an asteroid belt. Luckily, the Enterprise is close enough to notice him on their scans. Unluckily, he's smashed into several pieces. Data and Geordi manage to reassemble him, but it seems that Lore's memory has been lost.
