Edward Remus Lupin, Teddy to his friends, had found himself rather bored in his Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
Nothing against the professor, Albert Simmons was a retired Auror and a well-respected one at that, but the man wasn't teaching anything that Teddy hadn't already learned. Being the godson of one Harry James Potter meant that his education surrounding Defense Against the Dark Arts had been both rigorous and thorough. The Disarming Charm had been one of the first spells he had learned and that had been quickly followed by the Shielding Charm as well as several other defensive spells.
Having a paranoid godfather meant that Teddy was never without a means to defend himself.
But it also meant that most of his Defense Against the Dark Arts classes were rather redundant. He'd already read the textbooks – as well as several other books about Defense that Aunt Hermione had all but foisted onto Harry – so all of the classwork easy to complete. Practical exams were a breeze to pass due to the countless hours of practice that Harry insisted they do. A whole lot of magic had been performed in that apartment and more than a few times did Aurors come and check on them for the excessive amounts of magic being done in such a small area.
Still, those fond memories also meant that Teddy had to slog through Defense Against the Dark Arts, and right now Professor Simmons was lecturing them all on the three Unforgiveable Curses. The rest of the class was more or less paying attention, though Teddy did spy some of the girls sitting in the back of the class whispering amongst themselves. It wasn't like the professor was going over anything truly interesting. There were laws against using the Cruciatus Curse on a minor so all they could do was either read about it or listen to lectures. Nothing Teddy hadn't already learned.
The Imperius Curse was scheduled for next week and that was a class he was looking forward to. It might have been odd to anyone else, but in the Potter household, throwing off the Imperius Curse was something of a pastime. His godfather had done it in his fourth year at Hogwarts, which had been very impressive to hear tell, and so Teddy had been given training to do the same. Though, there had been one rather long conversation with Aunt Hermione about the moral dubiousness of casting the Imperius on a child, consenting or not.
Teddy had sat on the couch with Uncle Ron during that conversation turned argument.
In the end his godfather had won out by pointing to the fact that it was not illegal to cast it in an educational manner in the United States, but not before Aunt Hermione extracted the promise from him to not cast it on Teddy unless she was also present, in the name of health, safety, and adult supervision. The following lessons in throwing off the Imperius Curse had been both horrifying and fascinating at the same time. Watching his godfather throw it off like it was nothing was damn impressive. Trying to emulate the man had turned out to be harder. In the books about the Unforgiveable Curses, it was clear that the authors had never actually been exposed to the spells they were writing about, because the descriptions were not exactly correct.
Certainly, Teddy hadn't expected the Imperius Curse to feel like the manifestation of the phrase ignorance is bliss, but it did.
It had taken him two years to learn to throw it off reliably, though that might have to do with how young he had been when they started. Doing it before reaching his third year at Ilvermorny was still impressive and his godfather hadn't been put out at all that his record had been broken. They had a celebratory dinner that night, with Aunt Hermione rolling her eyes at them in a somewhat disapproving manner, and Uncle Ron giving them a thumbs up when his wife wasn't looking.
That was a fun night, and now that Teddy was thinking about his extended family, he wondered when they were going to visit again or maybe the other way around. Taking a trip to Great Britain sounded nice, but Harry seemed to have an aversion to the country ever since the war had ended, so maybe a visit to France was better suited. It had been a while since he had seen Uncle Bill and Aunt Fleur, and it would be good to see Victoire, Dominique, and young Louis again. That would be a prime opportunity for some Weasley brand chaos and if Aunt Gabrielle was there then maybe he could get further on with Operation-Get-Harry-Married.
Teddy was fourteen years old dammit, he was more than due a mother figure in his life after Grandma Andy died, and the primordial being attached to his godfather's hip didn't exactly count. Now if only he could think of a way to get-
"Mr. Lupin."
"Wha?" Teddy said as he jolted back into the present. His ears picked up some snickering from the girls in the back of the classroom, but he paid them no mind. The main priority was figuring out what Professor Simmons was calling his name for. Shit, had he missed a question or something?
"I know that you have read ahead in the textbook, but would you please refrain from spending class time up in the clouds?"
"Right, sorry about that professor." The rationale part of his mind answered while the other part wondered why the man worded his sentence like that. Was it so hard to just say stop daydreaming? Though, now that he was actually paying attention to the man, Teddy noted that Professor Simmons did have that nineteenth century philosopher-poet look going.
"Now, as I was saying." Professor Simmons returned to his lecture. "The Cruciatus Curse, while being one of the nonlethal Unforgivables, is not to be underestimated. One need only to have read the latest edition of Twentieth Century Magical British History to know how dangerous and damaging this curse can be."
Teddy didn't need to be related to who he was or particularly smart to know what the retired Auror was referring to. Almost everyone in Great Britain knew about Neville Longbottom's parents and the catatonic state that they were in. With his godfather being friends with Neville, Teddy got to hear stories about the Longbottoms and what had happened during the war, and that had been a rather sobering story. The fact that there had yet to be a cure for them was another kick in the gut.
But Aunt Hermione had said that Neville had made his peace with it long ago, so maybe it wasn't all that bad.
"Unlike the Killing Curse, the Cruciatus Curse can be blocked with a powerful Shield Charm, or a clever use of transfiguration." Professor Simmons continued after a pause. "You all will learn how do defend against the curse in the coming years. If you intend to take your Defense N.E.W.T. then I can guarantee you all that defending against the curse will be on the practical. Now-"
There was an explosion and the door to the classroom was all but ripped from its hinges with the force that it was flung open with. As the wooden door swung open the class got a clear view of the blackened mark on the grain where a Blasting Curse had impacted. It was but the latest mark on the already very scarred door.
"Jesus Christ, I know your all about practical uses of defense, professor." What looked like a sixth-year girl to Teddy's eyes said as she stepped into the classroom with her wand in hand. "But warding the door so that it can only be opened by hitting it with a Blasting Curse?"
"You cannot deny that it is good form to always ward your doors, Ms. King?" Professor Simmons asked and when he got no answer he continued. "It is also good practice for you all. There are not many times when a good Blasting Curse comes into use after all."
"But to open a door?"
"We can discuss the merits of my decisions later. I'm sure you have come with a message?"
"Right." The girl said and then turned her brown eyes to the class. She was searching for a face. "The Headmaster sent me to get Teddy Lupin."
Even as Professor Simmons asked for what reason he was being summoned to the Headmaster's office, Teddy Lupin was running through his mind to try and see if he had done anything required such an action. He was pretty sure that the prank he and Samantha – his fellow fourth year Wampus housemate – had pulled wasn't serious enough nor had they gotten caught in the act. Maybe it had to do with the not-so-secret betting ring that was going on for the Quodpot games? Teddy had won and lost money in those bets like everyone else had so they probably wouldn't single him out, right?
"Mr. Lupin." Professor Simmons called out and Teddy reluctantly stood. Hopefully whatever the Headmaster had to say didn't involve any punishments. Teddy was pretty sure he hadn't done anything wrong so far. "Follow young Isla here to Fontaine's office, would you."
"Bring your things as well." Isla the sixth year added.
Teddy went about gathering his things while the professor returned to his lecturing. At least he wasn't going to miss out on anything important. His textbook and notebook were hastily shoved into his bag and then he was making his way towards the door, nodding to several of the other Wampus House members along the way. Samantha gave him a questioning look and he simply shrugged. Everyone else seemed to have assumed that Teddy would be back in time for next period, but a part of him felt that this was a different sort of meeting, though he didn't know why.
The moment the door closed behind them came the familiar sounds of wards being erected. Teddy could still smell the scent of charred wood from Isla King's Blasting Curse in the air. It was an oddly calming smell akin to things like freshly cooked breakfast or morning Massachusetts air.
"Any idea why I'm being called into the Headmaster's office?" Teddy asked as they made their way through the school. Ilvermorny Castle was made of white marble that didn't at all match the wilderness that surrounded them. The school stuck out like a sore thumb, but there were most definitely multiple enchantments on it so that it remained hidden from Muggle eyes.
It still didn't absolve the fact that the place looked like it was designed by an Ancient Greek architect.
"No idea, but the Headmaster did look a little pale when I stepped into his office." Was what Teddy got in return. He didn't really know Isla King that well. The different ages and houses that they were in meant that they basically had no reason to interact with one another. She didn't even play Quodpot or Quidditch.
The rest of the walk was continued on in silence. They simply had nothing to say, with Isla more than content to simply keep her hands in her pants pockets, and Teddy was more worried about what would make Headmaster Fontaine go pale than anything else. That man was descendant of Theodard Fontaine, one of the original twelve Aurors, he was like a pillar of confidence and Americanness. If something had been able to shake that man, then Teddy was soon dreading what was going to be talked about when he stepped into the man's office.
And unfortunately, the Headmaster's office was on the first floor of the castle that was Ilvermorny, so they arrived in a matter of minutes. The oaken door had a golden eagle shaped knocker mounted onto it, the beak acting as the knocker itself, and it was the golden beak that Isla reached up for and knocked with. Three sharp knocks and they only had to wait a moment for the Headmaster's voice to call from within.
"Good luck kid." The sixth-year student said as she pushed open the door. Teddy looked at her and got a nod of encouragement. It wasn't much but he would take it. He turned back to face the Headmaster's office and found that there was another person already sitting inside.
"You needed to see me, professor?" Teddy said as he stepped into the room. The door shut behind him with a click and both men in the room looked at him.
Headmaster Agilbert Fontaine was easy enough to recognize, the man had a truly impressive beard, and he offered Teddy a kind smile from his seat behind the oaken desk. The other man was a complete stranger to him, however. He had Auror robes on and looked to be in his mid-thirties, with a face that was utterly plain, ordinary, and undistinguished.
"Ah, Mr. Lupin, its good that you're here." Headmaster Fontaine said and stood from his seat. The man dressed as an Auror did the same and Teddy got to see that while the man was plain faced, he was also rather tall. "This is Auror Jackson from New York City."
"Mr. Edward Lupin?" Auror Jackson asked him with an offered hand.
"I prefer Teddy." Teddy shook the man's hand. That was quite the grip Jackson had, and quite calloused hand as well.
"Very well then, Teddy, I assume you have traveled via Portkey before?"
"I'm sorry?" Teddy looked towards the Headmaster to see if he had indeed heard those words correctly. Why the hell would he be traveling via Portkey at a time like this? It was only then that he noticed that the Headmaster looked slightly pale like Isla had said.
"There are many… developing situations as of right now, Mr. Lupin." The Headmaster said with a grimace and a cough. "Your godfather, Mr. Potter, has requested your presence and Auror Jackson here is to take you to the Woolworth Building. I'm sure you'll realize just what I'm referring to in the coming hours. If not, then I'm sure it will be all over the papers and the wireless come morning tomorrow."
Teddy was quite frankly befuddled by that. What the hell was the man referring to? Why did his godfather need to see him now of all times? The school year wasn't even over, and his last letter hadn't mentioned anything suspicious going on. And why the Woolworth Building? Teddy didn't think Harry would want to head back there any time soon after the debacle that was his breakup with Auror Vanessa Smith.
"Okay?" Was all he managed and then Auror Jackson had put a hand on his shoulder.
"This may feel a little strange." The Auror said and Teddy felt his hair flick through shades of black for a moment. He clamped down on his Metamorphmagus abilities and steeled his rudimentary Occlumency Shields like how Harry had showed him to. "But it'll be like a Side-Along-Apparition."
Teddy could only nod to that, a sense of dread filling his stomach, and then with the muttering of the activation phrase, Auror Jackson and Teddy Lupin disappeared from the Headmaster of Ilvermorny's office.
"You do realize that all of this changes the very nature of our understanding of magic, Mr. Potter?"
Harry Potter could only nod his head at those words. This little meeting had ballooned into a multi-hour long debriefing about… well, everything that had happened concerning the primordial being known as Death in depth, as well as the task of collecting the Infinity Stones that she had foisted upon him. Of course, he then had to go into detail about what exactly an Infinity Stone was, something that he was still in the process of learning himself.
It didn't help that Death herself was being obtusely vague about certain details while completely forthcoming with others. The specifics about what each of the Infinity Stones did was not explained. What would happen if they fell into the wrong hands was vaguely described as a… World Ending Apocalypse… and that didn't exactly soothe the worries of some of the more conservative Department Heads of the Magical Congress of the United States of America. Why Harry himself had to collect them was also vaguely explained, though he got the feeling that she didn't want him to reveal the fact that he was fundamentally immortal to them just yet.
Apparently only Teddy, Hermione, and Ron were worthy of this information at the moment.
There was also the fact that Teddy had added his own unique sense of humor in the form of commentary on everything that was said. It helped lighten the mood, but it also meant that the meeting dragged on longer than it already should have, and more than once they had been dragged into a tangent because of said commentary. Clearly, his godson was learning all the wrong things at Ilvermorny, and Harry couldn't help but see some comparisons between that and what he himself had learned at Hogwarts.
"I do realize that this changes a great many things." Harry said and tried to make his words sound like a definitive end to the conversation. "But it is now," He checked the time with a glance at the clock mounted on the wall. "nearly ten at night, and I don't know about the rest of you, but I certainly think that we can table this discussion for a later time."
It also helped that his godson's stomach let out an audile growl right as Harry finished speaking.
"Indeed, Mr. Potter here has made a good point. It's been a long day." Department Head Alexander Smith said and several of his fellow colleagues rolled their eyes at that statement. That was quite possibly the understatement of the year. "And I have a feeling we are going to have many more of these discussions in the future, but for now, lets call it a day. I'm missing dinner right now."
There were several sounds of agreement from the other Department Heads that were in attendance and Harry noted that many of them were still casting somewhat nervous glances at Death. The primordial being didn't even seem to notice them as she simply sat in her seat with her hands folded in her lap. There had been quite a shock when she first appeared, but after a while everyone had become accustomed to her presence, though they were still wary of her.
Harry was just glad that no one tried to fire any spells at her.
"Well, that was very enlightening." Teddy chirped and hopped out of his seat. Harry's godson still had a whole lot of energy left in him, which was suspicious as none of them had eaten anything since the meeting started. "I'm now completely convinced that a career in government is completely worthless."
"That's a… unique takeaway from all of this." Harry said as he stood as well and ignored the muffled sputtering that came from some of the American Government employees near them.
"Its not like you expected me to go for a career as a pencil pusher, did you?"
"A godfather can hope."
"Coming from the same godfather who doesn't have a job and lives off his inheritance?"
"Hypocritical coming from the very godson who benefits from said inheritance in every which way."
"I, at least, go to school. What do you do all day?"
"I'll have you know that I've been doing a lot of research into this task that's been foisted upon me."
"If you two are done with the aimless bickering." Death said as she approached them. There were at least three different wizards from the Department of Magical Mysteries standing off to the side observing her. One of them even had a notepad and self-inking quill and everything. "Then we must return to the apartment so that Harry here can get some much-needed rest. The same goes for young Edward here."
Harry ignored Teddy's pout at being called Edward as well as Death's mothering of him and simply loosened his muscles for a moment. Sitting down for multiple hours in less than comfortable seats wasn't exactly good on the body. It didn't help that the Americans intentionally used chairs that were resistant to all forms of magic. Apparently, there was a story there, but at the moment he didn't really want to know.
Instead, he led his little rag-tag group towards the exit, shaking multiple hands and receiving thanks for closing the alien portal along the way, as well as being handed a rather thick document from an Auror who gave him a stern look. It was one of those, you better actually read this or I'm hunting you down, kind of looks. Harry made a mental note to actually read the damn thing, as the list of things he had to be knowledgeable on had grown substantially, and the last thing he wanted was running afoul the somewhat shady Muggle organization known as SHIELD.
He had a great many reasons to dislike shady organizations of any kind.
"Hold this for me." Harry said and handed the rather thick Department of Magical Law Enforcement report to his godson. It was always better to have both hands free in any situation.
"Oh my god." Teddy exclaimed as he looked at the report that was handed to him. His raven black hair flickered to hints of red for a second while he concentrated on the text. It reminded Harry a little bit of Tonks and her eccentric hair colors. "This thing is fifty pages long! How the hell are you going to read all of this?"
"Oi!" Harry flicked his godson on the ear. "Language."
"Please, I've heard far worse." One final look was given at the fifty-page report before it was shoved into Teddy's schoolbag. "And no, it wasn't from Uncle Ron, it was actually Aunt Hermione."
"Now I know you're lying. Hermione doesn't curse."
"That's what she'd like you to think. Isn't that right Death?"
"Young Edward is correct Harry." Death said and Harry looked at her with slight surprise. "Hermione Granger has a foul mouth to her when she is frustrated."
"See?" Teddy smirked at him, and Harry flicked his ear again. The kid couldn't block it because he had his bag in his hands.
"You've both turned traitor against me." Harry said as they reached the doors to the conference room. It was warded in a way that muffled all sound so that no one in the hallway could hear a thing. There was also a complicated set of charms that locked the door from the inside whenever the room was in use.
"Try to return to the apartment before midnight." Death said and gave them both a look that was oh so reminiscent of ones that Andromeda used to give. It was quite heartbreaking to see how similar they were when making that face. "I need not remind you that we have a great many things to discuss as well as your first steps into mastering an Infinity Stone to embark on."
Teddy got that curious look in his green eyes that spelled no good at the mention of an Infinity Stone. It made him momentarily reconsider letting his godson get involved in all of this, aliens and Infinity Stones were not exactly things that a teenager should have to deal with. Speaking from personal experience, he didn't want to have his godson fighting for his life in his Ilvermorny years, but Teddy had also made it adamantly clear that if he was left out of this then he'd never forgive Harry.
So, he decided to be optimistic about the whole thing, and let his godson tag along for the time being.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure he doesn't get too distracted on the way home." Teddy said and Harry snorted at that.
With a nod, Death went incorporeal again, and Harry and Teddy were left with just themselves and the sound of furious scribbling from those Department of Mysteries guys. The noise soon increased tenfold as they left the conference room. Even at the late hour, the hallways of the Woolworth Building were packed with government workers, and the two of them had to keep on their toes less they bump into someone. It didn't help that multiple people stopped at the sight of Harry either.
Thankfully, most of them went away as soon as it appeared, and soon enough Harry found himself as just another wizard in the crowd. His godson's eyes were darting all over the place taking everything in. The kid hadn't been here as often as Harry had and by the sounds of it, Teddy didn't plan on entering into a governmental career, so there was most likely not a better time to take in the sights than right now. Harry just hoped that his godson didn't do anything stupid like pull a prank.
He knew it had been a bad decision to introduce the kid to George Weasley, but that ship had sailed, and he couldn't truly bring himself to hate his godson's antics.
"Potter!"
Harry, along with several other people in the lobby, turned at the call of his name. Angela Liang was making her way through the crowd towards him and Teddy, but what really caught his eye was a rather familiar broom in her hands. It was a little scuffed, but that was to be expected from the height it had fallen from, and he was just glad that it was still in one piece.
"Angela, its good to see you. Especially since you have my broom." Harry said as the Asian Auror came to a stop across from him. Teddy was giving her a critical look that was quite concerning for a fourteen-year-old to do. He didn't even seem to notice the Vanderbilt Excelsior 4000 that was right in front of him.
"Yeah well, its not like your gonna be able to get any use out of it now." Angela said and Harry grew concerned. It didn't look broken, and when he took it into his hands it didn't feel broken, everything looked in working order. The only thing that was noticeably damaged about it was one of the footrests that was bent slightly.
"What do you mean?" He asked and held it in one hand. He'd slip it into his mokeskin pouch once he and Teddy were in a more private area. Too many eyes in the Woolworth Building's lobby.
"President Quahog just declared the entirety of Manhattan a no-fly zone." Angela said and Teddy let out a low whistle at that. "With the aliens and everything about the invasion, an emergency session of Congress has been called, and one of the topics that are going to undoubtedly be debated on is the future of the Statute of Secrecy."
"And they don't want any more risks to it until they can decide what to do, so that means no flying." Harry concluded.
"Everything just got a lot more complicated huh?" Teddy piped up and Angela looked at him for a second before turning back to Harry.
"Don't be surprised if you get an invitation to the session." Angela advised. "The No-Majs already know about you closing the portal, and we're already dealing with SHIELD agents poking around in places they shouldn't, so make sure you're prepared for what's coming up."
"And what does that mean exactly?" Harry asked as Angela gave him a pat on the arm and then started to walk away.
"Politics, Potter! Get ready for some good old American Politics!"
"Play that back again."
The footage restarted at fifteen seconds before it terminated. The roof of the Stark Tower was clear in view and the portal generator was already a smoldering ruin of scrap metal. Dr. Erik Selvig was unconscious off to the side and in the center was one Harry Potter holding Loki's scepter. The wizard was standing over the ruins of the generator and he seemed to be talking to someone. Then he had bent down to pick something up and the roof exploded, and the video ended as all the cameras on the roof were destroyed.
"Sir, the playback as reached the end. Shall I play it again?"
Tony Stark waved a hand and JARVIS closed the video file without another word.
His mind was racing with the implications of what he had seen in that video. A video that he had now reviewed for close to an hour and yet still had questions for. Potter was obviously speaking to someone, yet Tony didn't see any communicators on the guy, and there was no one else around who was conscious enough to speak to. There was also the question of what did the guy pick up that caused the roof of his tower to be leveled in the way that it had.
Further compounding his confusion was the way that Potter and Selvig both didn't fly off the edge in that explosion like everything else did. The guy did say he was a wizard, so maybe that was the reason? Tony didn't like that explanation. There had to be limits to what magic could do and, in that video, Potter looked rather occupied at the moment of the explosion.
There was no way he could have stopped Selvig from falling, right?
"Still working on Tesseract?" A voice called out and Tony looked up.
Bruce Banner was back in his normal clothes, the Hulk's ripped pants having been discarded, and his eyes were on one of the screens in Tony's lab. The algorithm that they had created to track the Tesseract's location was running in the background but had yet to pin down a location. That in itself was concerning, though he suspected that a certain wizard had something to do with that, and quite honestly, he was more than happy to continue this fruitless search.
SHIELD's Phase 2 – cancelled or not – didn't exactly inspire hope for the good intentions of the international spy agency.
Okay, Tony thought, maybe that thought was rather ironic.
When did an international spy agency have good intentions?
"If by working you mean failing to find it? Then yeah, I'm still working on it." Tony said as he leaned back in his rolling chair and looked at Bruce.
"I would assume the same goes for the search for the scepter?" Bruce asked though he had a small smile on his face. All of the Avengers knew exactly where the scepter was, or who it was with, so the farce they were pulling wasn't all that complicated and only for SHIELD's benefit.
"It appears to be just as elusive as the cube." Tony commented and then opened up the video file from within his penthouse and sent it to the closet screen near Bruce. "Take a look at that and tell me you're not intrigued."
Bruce gave him a look before playing the file in question and watching as Harry Potter, took hold of the scepter, gave a two-finger salute, and turned on his heels and disappeared. Tony watched the look of shock and then amazement flash on Bruce's face the same way it did for his and Selvig's faces when they saw it happen. JARVIS helpfully played that scene back again and Bruce physically leaned closer to the screen as he watched it again.
"That… that was teleportation!" He exclaimed as he looked at Tony. "Real teleportation!"
"And I have no idea how he did it." Tony said wagged a finger at the video. "All of the sensors in the penthouse went a little haywire right as he teleported away. Got no usable data other than the video itself."
"Has the rest of the team seen this?"
"Not yet, Cap's still running around the city helping out, but I suspect that he's also taking the opportunity to look at how much has changed." Tony said and couldn't fault the guy. Seventy years was a rather long time to be in the ice. "Natasha and Clint are wherever SHIELD has them, probably some evil lair or something, and they're most likely being debriefed for the hundredth time about the scepter and the cube. SHIELD seems to really want to know where they went, huh?"
"The Tesseract is SHIELD property." Bruce pointed out.
"You and I both know that's not true." Tony pointed out. "Point Break would have other things to say about that. Besides, I'm pretty sure he's still running around the city as we speak as well, looking for our dear wizard friend."
"I thought he was supposed to be guarding Loki?"
"Last I've heard he'd already been sent back to Asgard and is now facing Asgardian justice!" He made sure to put on an accent to try and match Thor's voice. Guy spoke like an Australian, which was curious in itself, and made Tony really want to see if all Asgardians talked like they had Australian accents.
"Oh, that's good." Bruce nodded to himself before looking back at the video of the wizard teleporting. "You did get anything other than his name?"
Tony blinked. That had been one of his blunders. Harry Potter had only offered his name and then teleported away with a loud crack. It hadn't even occurred to Tony to get some more information about the guy until after he was gone. Selvig wasn't that much help on that front either, the scientist more dazed from the mind control than anything else.
"No, but I do have something that's surely gonna interest you." Tony said and pulled up the file from the SHIELD database of rejected recruits for the Avengers Initiative. And hadn't that been a surprise. "It seems that Fury was debating on adding the guy to the team. He's even got his own file and everything, sparsely filled as it is."
"This is…" Bruce looked over the very sparsely filled out file of one Harry James Potter. "there's basically nothing here. A birth certificate. Some school grades. Hell, the most recent piece information is from 1991?"
"Yep, after that he seems to have fallen off the face of the Earth, and even more curious is that Thor knows about our friendly British wizard."
"More like suspicious." Bruce groaned. "Are we doing anything about this?"
"Oh yeah, you and I are about to embark on a grand adventure," Tony said and ignored the way that Bruce groaned again. "into discovering who exactly is the man known as Harry Potter."
