What if humanity created a Metaverse

What would happen if a robot from another universe suddenly found themselves in a different galaxy, where AI are Illegal? why they disguise themselves of course and hope for the best that the crew of the Normandy doesn't realize they're an artificial Intelligence while they also try and find a way back home.

ME2- After surviving the Omega Four Relay mission, the Normandy returns to find the galaxy in political turmoil. Cerberus has been exposed, humanity has lost its council seat, and the geth offer a peace that no one seems to desire. To complicate matters, the Reapers are coming. Most characters present. This is the full rewrite of the original Interloper, first posted almost ten years ago. Summary: Follow the adventures of Michael Liddle as he quite literally falls into the ME universe. A self insert covering the events of the first entry of the series. Follows the story of the Normandy crew and more as they strive to save a changing galaxy.

Cerberus has spent billions of credits trying to bring Commander Jane Shepard back from the dead, and despite the odds it seems to be working. Then a saboteur inside of Cerberus makes his move and Shepard's resurrection takes a horrific turn, leaving both the Alliance and Cerberus scrambling to control the situation...all while the Collectors begin their harvest of humanity.

This is a project to create a coherent storyline from Andromedas' canon. Meaning I will be using canon as a touchstone, but I will be changing quite a lot. There is now an actual reason for being in Andromeda instead of a wishy-washy 'we wanted to explore'. The Characters will be filled out, given different roles in the story and in some cases, entirely new character arcs.

Every great once in a while you stumble upon something that changes your world and makes you fall in love with it. For me, that was Mass Effect; but that love affair only existed for the series to break my heart with a lackluster ending. Little did I know, the universe of Mass Effect needed me - and as it turned out, I needed it, too. (SI)(AU)

Wrex was quick to search and recover Shepard. Now he works to keep her survival a secret as his people looked for the Normandy. There's just a few problems with that. 1. The alliance wants her and Hackett suspects she's alive. 2. The mass relays and most of the technology-based around them are no longer functioning. 3. Keeping her alive. Where's Vakarian when he needs him?

As the galaxy entered a post-reaper era; peace prevailed as societies began to help each other rebuild. It is difficult for Shepard to imagine herself as a civilian, but that is exactly what she has become. So, through all the trauma she and Garrus had endured, would they really be able to live a normal life? Afterall, they don't go looking for trouble, the trouble finds them.

Sable Shepard has a lot of secrets. He's supposed to be dead, for one thing. When his brother, Commander John Shepard, uncovers the reaper threat, Sable is forced to step out of the shadows, because he'll do anything to make sure John survives. [Control Ending] Sixty years after the end of the Reaper War, a Turian patrol finds a small vessel that has a Reaper signature of sorts. Realizing this may hold the answers that he's been searching for, Garrus Vakarian joins the patrol and boards the ship. What he finds is more than he ever hoped for. (Garrus x FemShep)

What really hears you in the void of space besides atoms in your body ceasing to spin? Commander Shepard of the Mass Effect universe is brought to life in this author's telling of an alternate universe—or six. Races of intelligence, good will and the sour, involve themselves in the affairs of this woman. Krogans are honorable—salarians hold power. Turians lay the foundations….

Roots. That's what it took—roots to found way into the soil. Isole and Cassius would grow the roots that combined worlds into a future others would only think was real and happening, but the combinations with other entities would divide them farther and farther from what they'd originally intended to create. All it came down to was a seed of love that held those two together…

FemShep's investigation of Cerberus' nefarious activities, while she struggles with questions about her own identity. This story is not super canon compliant, but it fits with the story, especially if you aren't too personally attached to your own version of Shepard. It aims to fill in the gaps and is told from Ash's point of view. Rated T for swears. FemShep/Ashley (but not yet).
