PIPER WOKE UP COLD AND SHIVERING.

Aphrodite shivered and hugged herself to stay warm.

She'd had the worst dream…and shouting, You're it!

"That's definitely a bad dream all right." Thalia nodded.

"Oh, god." Her teeth…felt as cold as a Boread.

Aphrodite shuddered and her teeth chattered.

"Hypothermia?" Will asked Apollo who nodded.

"Most probably." He said. Hestia conjured a warm blanket, gave it to Ares who gave it to Aphrodite who took it gratefully.

"I don't think that that's going to make much of a difference. I mean the curse will keep on going until the scene gets over." Will said

"Might make her feel a little warm though." Silena said worriedly.

"Not much." Aphrodite said, holding the blanket closer.

She blinked, trying to figure…it's really, really cold.

Hephaestus started shivering as well. Hestia conjured another blanket and Leo and Beckendorf gave him some metal to fiddle with and Leo lit his palm with fire.

"You've got hypothermia,"…won't die. Probably."

There were a few frowns.

"He's more of the protecting satyr than the healing ones. He has more of a defending charge and attacking opponent approach." Grover said

"Thanks," Piper said weakly…most of it down to luck.

"You're being modest." Thalia smiled at her brother. Jason shrugged.

The coach snorted…were outside eating the lawn."

"Well you did blow the roof with lightning and a storm so I'm sure he noticed what happened." Nico said amusedly. Jason grinned sheepishly.

But the satyr was just…"Shut up, please."

Everybody laughed good naturedly or face palmed.

"That's the nicest way to tell somebody to shut up. Please." Thalia said

"I'm going to use it next time." Percy grinned at her.

"Shut up Squirtle. Please." Thalia grinned. Percy pouted at her and everybody burst out laughing.

"That backfired." Nico snickered.

"Shut up Duskull. Please." Percy and Thalia grinned at the same time. The laughter increased.

"That was good." Connor snickered.

"Sure." The coach sat down…"You're a terrible liar," she said

Jason grinned sheepishly at Piper. Aphrodite was still shuddering.

"Thanks for the lie though." Piper said. Jason snickered and grinned.

"Anytime." He said

"Where are we?"…going to be trying that again."

"Good choice." Thalia nodded.

"Harnessing storm spirits is difficult the first time." Zeus said to Jason who nodded.

"Yeah. If you would have crashed into the mountainside, then you would've ended up as Jasoninthe, Piperinthe and Leointhe. Only difference would've been that you aren't a nymph so you probably wouldn't be turned into herbs." Nico said. The ones who understood what he meant burst out laughing. Persephone shook her head and Hades playfully rolled his eyes at Nico.

"That wouldn't be pleasant." Jason said

"Why are we here?"…think they're around here?"

"Most probably." Thalia nodded.

Jason rubbed his forearm…she couldn't stop shivering

Aphrodite was shivering violently under the blankets. Ares looked at her worriedly and even Hephaestus looked worried.

"We have to get you warm….tried to sound nonchalant.

Everybody chuckled. Jason and Piper turned bright red. The demigods who knew the mate stuff gave knowing glances to Aphrodite.

He put his arms around her…some friends along the way.

"You didn't have to make it sound that creepy." Leo muttered. Piper gave him an apologetic look.

She tried to concentrate…not the other way around

"Mmhm." The demigods said with raised eyebrows at the gods and then shook their heads.

Things will have to get a…made a mistake closing Olympus."

"Even the satyr knows that." Hades snorted

"Did I object to not closing Olympus right now?" Zeus retorted at his brother who raised an eyebrow.

"Not objecting and accepting a mistake are two different things but a change of behavior, nonetheless." Poseidon said to his younger brother.

"Coach," Piper said…like Medea influenced us?"

Everybody shuddered at that. The gods' eyes widened at the thought of that.

"Probably somebody who is really good at charmspeak or some sort of influencing." Silena said, with a thoughtful expression.

"The thought of somebody being powerful enough to manipulate a god is not pleasant to think about." Chris said, shaking his head. Nobody disagreed with that.

Piper shuddered…know anything about that?"

"He's a satyr. Doesn't have a high profile so they won't inform him about important matters." Grover said. Clarisse sighed.

"Especially not about Greek and Romans. Even I wouldn't know about it even though I'm a Lord of the Wild." Grover said

"The gods are the only ones who know." Reyna said

"Nah. I'm just a satyr…your panties on fire, Valdez.

Everybody burst out laughing. Leo was red but was grinning sheepishly.

That's just fifty-three…"That's hard to believe."

Everybody chuckled at that.

"The council usually prefers…well used to be prefer people who would follow their orders. Things would change now." Grover said

Coach scowled…nature." Hedge snorted indignantly

"Well that is one way to look at it. Nature does have animals as a part of it." Katie said.

"Flower-pickers…like it wanted to mutiny.

Everybody laughed good naturedly.

"It does smell good when its getting prepared especially when you're hungry." Katie said

"You're vegetarian?" Piper asked Katie who nodded. Demeter nodded approvingly.

I'm losing it…was about to kill her.

Along with shivering and hypothermia, a wave of tidal hit Aphrodite which made her shudder even more.

"Hypothermia seems difficult to deal with." Connor said, looking at Aphrodite. Will nodded and looked a little worried.

Hephaestus was all okay by now so he had removed the blanket and Leo had put out the fire.

Her friends wanted to help…would think that was nuts.

Piper sighed.

He'd had spent his whole life…her dad couldn't give her.

Rachel gave a small sad smile to Piper. Annabeth sighed as well.

Leo put tofu patties…Pipes. Fine airplane.

"It is a pretty good airplane just like you." Jason smiled. Then he seemed to realize what he said.

"I meant that you're a good friend and person and all." Jason rambled. His cousins raised their eyebrows at him and grinned at him.

"Smooth little brother." Thalia murmured to him, which made Jason go red. Piper was blushing as well. The demigods grinned at Jason and Piper.

Aphrodite gave a wink to Jason.

That's not how I named you…take her life in exchange.

"Ouch." Percy winced.

The man was heartbroken…"He let his wife die?"

"It's a hard sacrifice. Sometimes those are necessary or needed. It was either his wife would live or the others would die." Nico said with some sadness in his eyes as he remembered Bianca.

Piper stared at Nico. That's what his dad said. Well at least that 'it's a hard sacrifice' part.

Will gave a small sad smile to Nico, knowing where his thoughts would have gone. Nico returned it.

Her dad spread his hands…Grandpa Tom was no oracle.

"No oracle but he did believe in the myths. Somehow he might have thought that you had a connection to them." Apollo explained to Piper who nodded.

"Oh okay." She said

But still ... she'd made…against Jason's chest.

Jason and Piper turned red once more.

Aphrodite soon stopped shivering and felt much warmer, though some of the cold was still there, it was better.

Leo handed out the food…from you guys anymore."

Leo and Jason smiled at Piper.

They looked at her with their mouths full of burger.

Everybody chuckled or laughed.

Leo and Jason grinned sheepishly.

"Three nights before the…something about controlling her?"

Piper grimaced and there was an angry look in her eyes.

Piper nodded…realize it would be the three of us

"I wouldn't have betrayed anybody else either." Piper said quickly. The demigods nodded and gave small smiles.

Then after we started…kick her out into the snowstorm.

Jason and Leo shook their heads.

"We would never do anything of that sort. We want to help." Jason said.

"Yeah, beauty queen." Leo said. Piper gave them both grateful looks and smiled.

Instead, Jason scooted next…I was ordered to kill you!"

"But you didn't. You saved our lives. I would trust you to watch my back in any difficult situation." Leo said to Piper. Those were one of those times that everybody saw Leo be completely serious. Though they now knew that Leo used his humor to cope with situations, they also saw that when he was completely serious, he meant every single thing that he said.

Jason nodded in agreement with Leo.

"Thanks guys." Piper said and gave the two of them hugs. Jason was blushing but returned the hug. The ones who noticed it chuckled.

"Aw, come on,"…go even if you cooperated

"Hedge's right. He wants to bait you. I don't know if its possible in the time limit but you could do both. Save Piper's dad and Hera." Castor said

"Hera did say that the hunters would help. Even Midas said that the hunters had come to his mansion too." Pollux said "So they're most probably nearby." He said.

Thalia nodded.

You're obviously one…"Besides, it's a trap."

"Who gives a damn? We've walked into multiple of those. And if we manage to defeat the Inky Ladder dude then that's one other giant down." Leo said. The gods raised their eyebrows at 'Inky Ladder' while the demigods burst out laughing.

"Man, I love the names that you give the giants. Inky Ladder, Enchiladas, Porpoise Fear." Percy laughed. Leo grinned at him.

"Helps getting the atmosphere easy to deal with." Leo said. Everybody nodded.

"Certainly amusing names." Hephaestus chuckled.

"We're your friends…gotta figure out a plan."

Piper gave another grateful look to Leo and Jason.

Coach Hedge grumbled…The Bay Area ..."

"The Roman camp is probably one of the major reason why it is advised for us to stay away." Annabeth said

"Yes." Chiron sighed.

"Well you're welcome now." Frank smiled. The Greek smiled and grinned at him.

"You're welcome to our camp too." Percy grinned at Frank who grinned back.

"You think you've been…Everyone looked at him.

"Nope. That's not what happened." Reyna said. Jason gave a small smirk too.

"What do you mean…howls piercing the night.

"Doesn't sound like anything good." Athena frowned.

"Chapter's done." Artemis said

"I'll read." Grover said.

"Just a second." Poseidon interrupted. Everybody looked at him.

"We forgot to tell you. The fates had sent a note to us yesterday saying that you will be made immortal sooner than planned. The part inside you that was going to change you into gods after the five books, progressed faster than expected. You're already glowing at certain times. It's happened once so the fates said that you will be turned after this book or the next. The choice will be up to you." Poseidon said.

The demigods exchanged glances and sighed.

"Are you not happy with the choice of turning into gods?" Hermes asked worriedly

"No. It's not that. To be honest, we're kind of looking forward to a new chapter in our lives but we thought that it would happen three books late so to get it sped up is a little weird. So that's it." Percy explained. The gods nodded.

"It would be a lot to process." Dionysus said, his eyes softening, knowing how it felt to turn from a demigod to a god. The campers smiled at him.

"But will they turn us immortal at this point of time. Because isn't it going to be weird to change us into gods when they've sent us back in time?" Annabeth asked

"They would probably send us back or figure something out." Athena said. Everybody nodded. The demigods looked a little confused but figured that they would find out sooner or later.

Grover opened the correct page and started reading.
