"Whoo! I got a short chapter." Percy whooped. Everybody chuckled. Percy went through the pages really quickly and paused a little. He flipped the page back before reading the entire paragraph but it was enough to know what it was about. He gave a nervous glance to Thalia and Jason. Thalia raised an eyebrow and went over to Percy. She paled as she heard what he had to say. Thalia nodded and went to Jason and told him.

"I think it would be okay if you want to sit that paragraph out." Percy said

"No it's fine. Running from the truth isn't going to change it." Jason shook his head.

"Okay then." Percy nodded.

The others were confused as to what they were talking about but figured that they would find out soon enough.

LEO FIGURED HE HAD…dad who needed rescuing?

"Trust me man, you don't want that happening. I'm freaking out here. It's not fun unless you want to be crushed with the thought of not knowing what is happening to him but knowing its some sort of torture, both physical but mostly mental." Piper said grimly.

The demigods shuddered at even the thought. They shifted a little closer to their parents. The gods smiled softly at their kids and slung their arms around their shoulders.

All he got was a tool belt…occasionally fixed tofu burgers.

"Not true. You defeated the Cyclops which prevented Jason and Piper from being changed from demigods into demigod meat." Grover said. Jason and Piper shuddered and nodded gratefully to Leo.

"You fixed a dragon which everybody thought couldn't be fixed. That got you a ride. Even though it broke down half way, you found a way to make use of it again. Then the first time it broke down, it wasn't even your fault." Beckendorf stated.

"And I have to mention is that you threw a porta potty seat at a primordial." Percy grinned. There were a few laughs.

"And then you cast a wall of fire which delayed the wolves a little." Travis said

"And Tacos. Don't forget the tacos." Piper grinned at Leo. Jason nodded. Leo grinned at all of them gratefully.

If that wasn't bad enough…totally out of his league.

Thalia sighed and raised an eyebrow at Leo who shook his head. Artemis shook her head as well.

"I do not have a crush on you or anything for that matter. Just a friend hopefully." He said

"Yeah, you're a friend." Thalia smiled at Leo. Jason grinned at his sister.

When he first saw Thalia…too pretty to be Jason's sister.

"I feel way too offended right now." Jason said, flourishing a hand dramatically to his chest. Leo grinned

"I mean she is kinda prettier." He teased.

"I'm not talking to you." Jason pouted at Leo who winked at him. Everybody burst out laughing.

Then he thought he'd better…just Leo's type!

"You have an…odd type in characteristics." Chris said with a raised eyebrow. Leo shrugged.

"Interesting one at that." Nico said.

"So funny di angelo." Thalia said. Nico grinned at her.

"Sorry cuz." He said

For a minute, Jason…forward and hugged him.

Jason smiled at Thalia.

"My gods! She told me…stapler when you were two!"

Everybody laughed good naturedly. Jason blushed and Thalia chuckled.

"Didn't Hercules try to Zeus' lightning in the movie?" Travis asked amusedly. The demigods roared with laughter.

"Children of Zeus seem to have an odd taste for trying to eat dangerous things." Nico said with a raised eyebrow at Jason.

"I never ate anything weird." Thalia said

"Hmm. I'll make you taste the sea kelp shakes. You'll graduate then." Percy smirked. Thalia paled.

"Hey! Those are good." Triton said to Percy with a mock offended expression. "Well maybe to mermen." He added. Percy grinned.

"I'm not a mermen. Different tastes bud." Percy grinned at Triton.

"In sea shakes." Triton agreed. Poseidon and Amphitrite chuckled at that.

Leo laughed. "Seriously?"…excellent source of iron."

Grover laughed.

"He's not wrong there." He chuckled.

"W-wait," Jason stammered…She collapsed.

Aphrodite fell unconscious.

"Better than that? Sure man." Piper rolled her eyes at Leo who grinned sheepishly.

She would've cracked her head…floor if Hedge hadn't caught her

Piper winced.

"Thank gods for Hedge then." Jason said with a raised eyebrow, a little surprised that he said that.

Thalia rushed over…let the goat be a doctor?

"None of us are really that good at healing. And even I was wet and had to cook." Leo pointed out. Thalia grimaced.

"Either way. It's not your fault." She said a little apologetically. Leo nodded.

As if that was Leo's fault…Phoebe's an excellent healer."

Artemis nodded.

"It's cold out there!"…could you, um, stick around?"

Leo looked at Jason, surprised.

"Why would you want me there?" he asked

"I guess that it would be nice to have somebody with me as well." Jason said. Thalia frowned. Leo gave him a small smile.

Leo saw something in Jason…He was scared.

Thalia's frown deepened. Jason noticed it.

"I'm sure, I'm not scared. Just confused I think. I mean its harder without the memories too." He said. Thalia sighed and nodded. She slung an arm around Jason's shoulders.

Leo grinned. "Sticking around…explode if handled incorrectly

"Accurate." Percy and Nico nodded and laughed.

Thalia groaned. She grabbed a beach ball from near the water and threw it at Nico and Percy whose eyes widened and mouths closed and they jumped a little. Thalia laughed this time. Jason grinned at the two of them. They pouted at Thalia and Jason. Everybody else laughed at the cousins. Honestly, that gang…

Chiron shook his head fondly. Aphrodite had regained consciousness as well.

Thalia seemed more at ease…seasonal thing, or what?

Leo turned red. Artemis, Thalia and Reyna looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"Yeah, yeah okay awkward." Leo sighed. Artemis shook her head. Percy continued reading.

Thalia stared at him as if he'd…you I was dead?"

Thalia and Jason winced.

Thalia tugged at a silver bracelet…just as cold and beautiful.

"I'm sorry?" Thalia asked Leo, a little angrily.

"I'm sorry. You're nothing like Khione." Leo grimaced. Thalia nodded.

"Do you remember anything?"…"That man's a menace.

"Yeah, burning it down would've been kinda cool." Leo said.

"Should have by the sounds of it." Thalia said

But we were so intent…hiding you all these years?"

"No." Hera said

"Kind of." Thalia said

"Not exactly. Time at a roman camp isn't exactly hiding." Reyna pointed out. Hera nodded.

I don't know."…much Leo impressed her.

Thalia groaned. Leo shook his head.

"Jason," she said…nothing is too crazy.

"Preach!" The demigods said but they grinned at their parents to let them know that it was all good natured.

But you can't trust Hera…hates all children of Zeus."

Hera sighed and looked at Hestia who gave her a small gentle smile.

"But she said something…No, of course you don't."

Thalia scowled a little.

"Most of the reason was because he was Roman. If a Roman and Greek would've grown up together, it would've caused quite a big problem." Zeus said to Thalia and Jason, sounding a little apologetic. The two sighed.

"What?" Jason asked…wasn't exactly stable.

Thalia and Jason flinched. Percy shot them worried looks and so did Nico. Percy decided to pause so that Thalia and Jason could prepare themselves. When they looked at him, he put his finger on the page and closed the book.

"You should just take a deep breath and just prepare yourself. It's not easy." He said and waited patiently. The gods raised their eyebrows at each other.

Thalia and Jason took a deep breath.

"All right. You can continue, Perce. I don't think you can ever be entirely prepared either way. I've renounced that part of my life either way." Thalia said. Percy nodded.

She caught Zeus's eye because…she was beautiful

Hera scowled a little.

But she didn't handle the fame…never get enough attention

Hazel grimaced, having a few thoughts of her own mother. Piper's eyes widened a little, thanking that her dad was quite all right with acting.

Even before you were born…too much for her to take.

One or two of the demigods sighed.

"I think this is just one of those times that I feel so grateful for Aunt Sally." Thalia shook her head. Percy gave a small smile to her.

"Yeah, she's the mom that we never had." Jason said

"Agreed." Chris nodded.

"All of you know Percy's mom?" Artemis asked. The demigods nodded.

"She's literally the best." Clarisse and Annabeth said.

"Once I accidentally called her 'mom' because she was helping me out with something that I was really struggling with and I could actually see her eyes get all watery." Thalia smiled. Percy gave a smile to all his friends.

"She's just kind of adopted you guys." He chuckled. The demigods grinned. Poseidon smiled warmly. Amphitrite nodded at Sally.

"It's just a safe house. Percy's place. Any satyr can go there with their charge." Grover smiled.

"Sally Jackson appreciation man." Travis grinned. The demigods cheered. Percy was grinning widely.

"Should I send this recording to my mom?" Percy asked.

"You recorded it?" Thalia chuckled. Percy nodded.

"Go ahead." Annabeth chuckled. Percy grinned and clicked the sent button.

Percy finally continued reading.

The thing about the gods…Leo could know his father.

Hephaestus sighed and gave Leo a small smile.

She'd dealt with working…having anything to fall back on

Jason sighed and closed his eyes. Thalia sighed and grimaced.

Leo sighed and closed his eyes, remembering his mom as well.

"So ..." Jason didn't seem able…You're not alone."

"Thanks man." Jason smiled at Leo who nodded.

"You don't have to thank me." He said with a small smile.

Thalia offered her hand…about wrecking her life

Hera scowled a little more and Zeus looked uncomfortable.

And he seemed — different…always wanted more attention.

"Oh my gods." Hazel muttered under her breath so that nobody could hear that.

Percy swore under his breath as well. The other demigods and some of the gods were trying really hard to keep their expressions neutral.

That's the year you were born…immortal or eternally beautiful.

Hera was actually just scowling by now. Not just at the cheating but the kind of person Beryl Grace was. Hera wasn't the only one scowling. Most of the people were scowling or glaring at the sand.

When he left for good…Mom blamed Hera.

Hera gritted her teeth.

"I sent no monsters after Thalia or Jason." She said. Thalia and Jason looked surprised. Their gazes met Hestia's who gave them a smile and an encouraging nod.

"Thanks for not sending monsters after us." They said to Hera. The demigods who didn't know what was going and the gods' eyebrows shot up to their hairlines. Hera nodded. Zeus looked pleased.

She claimed the goddess…He felt like an intruder.

Even the other demigods were feeling awkward and uncomfortable.

He shouldn't be listening to this…I didn't know what she'd done.

Thalia buried her face in her hands. Percy paused again, looking at her and Jason. Jason gestured for him to read and he slung an arm around Thalia's shoulders.

I was afraid she'd completely…kicking and screaming.

Zeus froze as he felt Thalia's anguish coming through the curse.

Annabeth, Grover, Percy and Nico wanted to go to Thalia but resisted because this was Thalia and Jason's personal matter.

For the next few days…questioned her for a long time.

"Damnn, Thals." Nico said

"It was needed." Thalia said

Afterward, we fought…I ran away from home

"You did the right thing, Thals. Growing up in an abusive household where nobody cares about you is hard. Especially if you've been abused from childhood. It's better to be on the run. I've never been on the run but you found Annabeth and Luke who helped you and stayed with you. If I would've been in your position, I would've done the same thing. Maybe even I would've run away if I wouldn't have had my mom." Percy said quietly.

"Percy, knowing you, you'd have beaten the shit out of Gabe at the age of 12." Nico said

"I wish I could have but this is different, Nico. Thalia had nobody. She stayed only for Jason and even he was taken away. I think she made the right choice in running." Percy said. Thalia nodded.

"Thanks Perce. That makes it a little better." Thalia said gratefully to Percy.

"We're here, Thals. We're here for all of you." Percy said. The demigods nodded. Thalia smiled and so did the gods once they realized that some of them were included in Percy's 'all of them'.

And I never went back…It was just too painful."

Annabeth sighed and nodded in understanding at Thalia. Grover looked hurt.

"Grover, you're my best friend too. I just met Annabeth and Luke before." Thalia said to him apologetically. Grover nodded.

"Chiron knew."…'You should be dead."'

Chiron sighed.

"That doesn't make sense,"…You two are lucky."

Thalia and Jason smiled at Leo.

Thalia nodded. "Leo's right…That would make you unique.

"Good job in figuring it out but he's not the only one." Dakota smiled. There were a few chuckles.

"It's a start." Thalia grinned

Still, it doesn't explain how…making them think like Romans."

There were a few laughs mostly from the Romans.

"That was pretty close. You got the camp part right." Hazel chuckled at Leo who grinned at her.

"Leo brains." He grinned. Everybody chuckled.

As soon as he said it…ridiculous closing Olympus.

"Artemis." Zeus said but then sighed. Artemis shrugged.

"Always getting out of trouble." Apollo pouted at his sister who gave him a small smirk.

She's the one who set us…her face full of concern.

"Aww. I love you too cuz." Percy grinned at Thalia who rolled her eyes playfully.

"I've got three idiotic brothers who for some reason I care about. Hazel's the only sensible one." Thalia said.

"Hey!" Nico, Jason and Percy pouted at Thalia. Hazel grinned and she and Thalia high fived. Zeus, Poseidon and Hades looked at their children amusedly while the others laughed or chuckled.

Leo wondered if anyone…Now, let's go!"

"I doubt." Artemis said.

"You wound me." Apollo said to his sister with a mock serious expression. Artemis stuck her tongue out at her twin.

Jason pouted at Thalia who smirked at him.

"Chapter's done." Percy said

"I'll read." Annabeth said. Percy grinned and passed her the book.
