"How many chapters left?" Nico asked.

"Uh… about 7 including this one." Beckendorf said. Nico nodded.

A WOLF LAUNCHED…still give it a Tylenol headache.

There were a few laughs and cheers.

"A huge headache." Will nodded approvingly. Jason grinned.

He turned toward the sound…bring the horse under control.

"But it will be possible for you to tame him being my child." Zeus said. Jason nodded.

"I'm friends with Tempest now." Jason said

"That's why you remember him." Percy grinned.

"You remember Blackjack?" Jason asked. Percy nodded "And Guido and Porkpie." He said.

"I remember Jules Albert too." Nico said.

He thought about Aeolus…and he had to win.

Jason nodded.

"You're mine now,"… pleased to be recognized.

A few chuckles. Jason shook his head fondly with a grin plastered across his face.

"Fine," Jason said…melted into mounds of mud.

Everybody laughed and cheered for Piper.

"That's hilariously amazing." Katie chuckled. Piper grinned. Aphrodite and Silena beamed at her.

"Yeah, put on the 'beauty queen charm' and just slice them up." Leo grinned. Piper and Leo high fived.

Leo had taken on Khione…been doused with gasoline

Leo smirked. Beckendorf and Hephaestus grinned proudly. They were a little worried but they figured that Leo could manage because of having fire powers.

He advanced on the goddess…ice melted off the stones.

Everybody grinned and whooped.

"And that's fire boy!" Percy cheered. Leo whooped and punched the air. Everybody chuckled.

Even Thalia started to…Leo stepped near her.

Thalia grinned and the lightning gang shot Leo grateful looks and Percy and Nico nodded with grins.

Khione slowly backed away…panicked as Leo got closer.

Leo smirked.

"Shouldn't have messed with my dragons and my friends and our quest, lady." He said.

"Yeah fire powers!" The Stolls whistled. Leo grinned at them.

Jason was running out…steaming mound of mush.

Everybody cheered at the top of the lungs. Hephaestus and Beckendorf were beaming at Leo who was grinning.

Piper was breathing hard

Aphrodite took some deep breaths but was fine.

But she smiled up at Jason…A complete show-off.

Everybody laughed.

"He loves doing that." Jason chuckled fondly.

Then Jason heard a cracking…dying over here!"

Hera shook her head. The others sighed.

Jason dismounted and told…"No, you dolt!

"Well I feel offended." Leo said, trying to lighten the mood which had got tense. There were some snickers and Hera shook her head a little fondly at Leo.

The earth is claiming me…"You only have seconds!"

"Well then we should hurry." Piper said.

"Facts." Leo nodded.

"On it," Leo said… tendrils to loosen while I — "

"That is a great idea." Annabeth nodded at Leo.

"'The forge and the dove shall break the cage'. Yep. That's good." Jason nodded.

"Right!" Piper cleared her… to focus on her words

"I really should learn to charmspeak only certain people to prevent any accidents." Piper shook her head.

"We'll check it out tomorrow." Aphrodite promised her. Piper gave her a grateful smile.

It seemed to have some…tree root than rock.

"Wow. You're actually charm speaking her." Silena smiled proudly. Piper looked a little pleasantly surprised as well.

"It would be so good to just charmspeak her to go to sleep and prevent the war." Frank chuckled.

"If only." Clarisse shook her head.

Leo pulled a circular saw…Jason had no idea.

Leo winked at Jason and kept a finger to his lips. Jason chuckled.

Then Leo looked at the cord…comes with AC outlets!"

"That is so freaking handy." Leo grinned and gave a laugh.

"Resources." Connor nodded. Everybody chuckled.

Their good mood didn't last…He was wrong.

The gods paled and the demigods paled as well. The gods because they did not like the thought of Porphyrion rising again and the demigods because they did not want to imagine somebody worse than what Enceladus must have looked like.

Jason, Leo and Piper were probably the palest of the demigods. Jason was even more so than Leo and Piper because he knew that he would have to face the giant while Leo and Piper had to work on the cage to free Hera.

Porphyrion was even taller…He took a deep breath.

"Oh my gods." Percy muttered. The demigods were paler than what was considered healthy. Jason sweat a little at the thought of even facing the giant. Thalia and Zeus were pale as well at the same thought. Leo and Piper were rubbing their eyes and faces. The others looked extremely worried for the three demigods.

"Alive!" he bellowed…demigod could solo this guy.

"No demigod could solo any giant. Gods and demigods have to work together to defeat any giant." Ares said.

"Yeah. Realized that." Jason sighed.

"And anybody would be freaked so don't worry about feeling or looking or sounding scared." Percy said.

Porphyrion could lift mountains…"I've got no choice."

"Jason." Thalia groaned and buried her head in her hands.

"I don't have a choice." Jason sighed. Even Zeus went and sat with Thalia and Jason. He looked at Poseidon who raised his eyebrows at him knowing exactly how he was feeling at the point, having sitting through Percy's adventures for five whole books.

"Excellent!" the giant roared…Hermes? Ares?"

Ares sputtered and Hermes rolled his eyes at the giant.

"I'm sorry what-?" he said.

"I am not an appetizer." Ares said

"We know." Clarisse assured him.

Jason thought about going…something told him not to.

"That's your self preservation." Nico said. Jason nodded.

"Glad to know that I have some." He said

"I'm Jason Grace,"… the fear out of her voice.

Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Zeus and Hera gave shudders as they felt the demigods' fear race through them.

Porphyrion threw back his…but it will not save you."

"He isn't a sacrifice." Zeus gritted his teeth.

The sky didn't even…Jason was on his own

Zeus clenched his jaw, wishing that he could help his son.

He dropped his makeshift club…but that didn't matter now.

Zeus and Hera gave yelps of pain as some splinters embedded themselves into their hands. Jason and Thalia winced as they saw them.

"Yikes." Will winced. Beckendorf continued reading.

He had to buy Leo and Piper…more confident than he felt.

The splinters disappeared and Zeus and Hera sighed in relief.

"If you knew who I was,"… you right back to Tartarus."

"Yeah, you tell him!" The demigods cheered. Jason gave a small smile.

The giant's eyes narrowed…"Hello, Hera."

Hera scowled and took a deep breath to calm down.

"My husband destroyed you…"He'll do it again!"

"He can't do that this time around." Apollo shook his head.

"But he didn't, my dear! ... covering her up to her waist.

Everybody tensed.

"Nah. Not happening." Nico shook his head. "You're not getting to destroy Olympus not when we're going to be ready." He said. The demigods whooped.

"They might not even get the chance if our plan works out." Percy said with a grin. The cheers got even louder.

"Oh, yes," the giant said…"How, if we're so puny?"

"Yeah Jason!" The demigods cheered.

"Ha! You think I would explain… I shall take his throne.

"Yeahh no. I don't think so." Jason and Thalia said, their eyes crackling with electricity. Zeus gave them a small smile but internally grimaced at the thought of Jason near the giant born to oppose him.

I shall take his wife…consume her life force.

"Of course, I will not have you." Hera scowled.

What you see before you…answering the giant king's call.

Everybody swore and Hestia didn't bother to say anything.

"Great," Leo muttered…This isn't weird at all."

There were a few nervous snickers.

Porphyrion raked his spear… almost completely filled with earth.

Everybody got even tenser at that. Hera took a deep breath.

"I'm the son of Jupiter!"… few feet off the ground.

"That effect will help, all right." Percy nodded with a small smile which Jason returned.

I'm a child of Rome…Porphyrion actually looked uneasy.

The demigods cheered and whooped. Jason gave a small smile.

"I slew the Trojan sea monster,"… feed you to your own wolves."

The cheers and got even louder.

"Wow, dude,"… been eating red meat?"

There were a few snickers.

Jason launched himself at the giant, determined to tear him apart.

"Jason!" Thalia groaned exasperatedly. Jason grimaced. Zeus winced at the thought of Jason charging the giant born to oppose him and that too without a weapon and without any means of summoning his lightning.

"Oh gods. Why even-? There are other ways of wasting time!" Silena exclaimed.

"I don't really see one at that point." Jason sighed.

"Just keep boasting." Beckendorf suggested.

"Already said that." Jason pointed out.

"Play tag." Connor suggested.

"The giant is too huge." Jason sighed.

"Well that's a horrid one solution only solution. Number 1 on the horrid situations list." Travis shook his head.

The idea of fighting a…"You dare?" the giant bellowed.

"Unfortunately." Jason sighed.

Jason reached his shoulders…the giant's massive ear.

Everybody nodded and grinned.

"Now you even have a weapon." Castor nodded.

"That's an improvement." Jason agreed.

Lightning streaked out of…smoldering in his braids.

Everybody cheered and grinned.

"Good shot!" Percy chuckled and high fived Jason who grinned as well.

Porphyrion almost fell…"I will kill him myself."

"At least his pride is stopping the rest of the monsters from attacking." Pollux said

"But Porphyrion is the bane of Zeus. That's not good at all." Chris said

"We've got to hurry up on the cage." Leo said.

"I'm sure we're trying our hardest." Piper said but she looked worried and on the edge as well.

The giant raised his spear…exactly what will kill you."

A few people swore. Zeus gritted his teeth. Jason was pale.

Something in Porphyrion's… he could deflect this strike.

"Bro. You do not think like that." Percy chided.

"I'm sure that's how everybody would feel if they were almost nearly close to getting killed by a giant born to oppose their godly parent." Jason said with a raised eyebrow at Percy.

"You got to fight or run. Anything works. Best is to talk. Just bluff. Trash talk." Percy said.

"Lesson learnt. Thanks prof." Jason grinned. Percy gave a small chuckle.

This was the end…glowing with power.

There were some claps. Leo and Piper grinned and high fived each other.

"Yes!" the goddess said…shall have my revenge!"

"Lets hope we get rid of that giant." Beckendorf shook his head. Hera looked relieved at being released from the cage. She nodded at Leo.

The giant Porphyrion backed…He understood too late.

Everybody froze.

"What does that mean?!" Thalia demanded. Jason was beyond pale. Zeus glared at Hera who was a little pale herself.

"So this how I died?" Jason swallowed.

"You're not dead. There are more chapters from your point of view. Now unless you're somehow part of the quest from the Underworld then you're alive." Beckendorf said. There were a few exhales of relief. Percy, Leo and Nico were stiff but not they seemed to relax just a bit.

He watched as Hera turned…that his body was burning.

"Jason!" Thalia exclaimed and hugged her brother. Piper gripped Jason's hand tightly. Zeus kept his hand on Jason's shoulder and Hera was pale.

"Hera." Zeus said angrily. Hera paled a bit more and swallowed. Suddenly there was a flash of light and the two gods yelled in pure agony as they felt the way Jason would have.

"Shit!" The demigods shouted.

"Oh this is not good." Clarisse shook her head.

Hades and Poseidon looked worried and a little pained at seeing the two gods that way and Hestia was looking extremely worried.

Jason took a deep breath and closed his eyes.

"Jason." Thalia said as she knew what her brother was about to do. Jason gave Thalia a small smile before he held his fist to Zeus's fist. Jason gave a yell of agony as well. Percy, Nico and Leo stood up. Piper's face turned into one of extreme worry and pain. She stood up as well.

Once Jason seemed to get used to the pain, he turned to look around. He could barely see anything because of the red spots dancing in his vision but he could see Hera yelling in pain as well. He took an extremely shaky breath and held out his second fist. Thalia and Leo jumped in. Thalia held her fist out to her father while Leo held his out to Hera because he was kind of her champion so was able to share the curse. The two demigods yelled in agony. Beckendorf's hands shook on the book.

The others stared in shock and worry. The two gods were trying to pull their fists away from the demigods but they weren't able to. The demigods gave extremely miniscule smiles.

"Read!" Will exclaimed. Beckendorf nodded and tried to stop his hands from shaking. Hephaestus was fiddling with metals to calm his nerves but for the first time it wasn't helping. He wished that he could go and share the curse which he technically could because he was Hera's child but through his pain, Leo gave him a look which said to not even go to share the curse that he was feeling.

Percy, Nico, Grover and Annabeth wished that they could go and share the curse as well but they were helpless at that point and that frustrated them. They simply got up and stood next to them just so that their friends would know that they were there.

"The chapter's over!" Beckendorf shouted.

"Pass it here." Poseidon said quickly, not wanting to see the demigods and his brother and sister that way. Beckendorf tossed him the book and Poseidon quickly flipped to the correct page.
