"JASON!"… for two minutes now.

Will and Apollo winced and the others grimaced. The two got up and knelt next to Zeus and Hera and Jason, Thalia and Leo to handle any symptoms that they might feel.

"They're going to be just all right. Their fists might burn a little though." Travis said. Though he knew that they were going to be fine, his eyes were still clouded with worry.

"Ah okay. We'll keep some ice for that then." Will said with a nod towards Travis, remembering as the three Hermes kids had shared the curse as well. Hermes grimaced at that memory. Connor and Chris gave him small smiles.

Travis shook his head at Will.

"I don't think that there's going to be any need for that. The heat goes away after ten minutes automatically." He said.

"Well okay then that's good." Will nodded with a small smile towards Travis.

His body was steaming…rolled back in his head.

Everybody winced again. The ones standing next to Zeus, Hera, Jason, Leo and Thalia grimaced as they saw that their eyes were rolled up in their heads as well.

She couldn't tell if he was even breathing.

"Barely." Will winced. "Like one breath per five seconds or something." He said. Apollo nodded grimly.

"They can't die. Or rather won't. Gods can't die and Thalia, Leo and Jason are due to become gods and nor are the fates going to allow anybody to be killed during the reading and we know that Jason is going to be alive as Beckendorf said. Also, Piper can charm Jason's soul back into his body which is the only way that he can be alive." Hades explained to a few glances which were directed his way. Everybody nodded.

"That's good because even their bodies are steaming right now just like book Jason's." Will said.

"It's no use, child."… "Fix him!"

Nobody glared at Hera because there wasn't any point. The goddess was unconscious as well.

"She can't." Demeter sighed.

"Yeah. At least they found some way to fix him." Hazel said. Everybody nodded.

Hera's eyes flickered…miserable Hunters from the ice."

"My hunters aren't miserable." Artemis said through clenched teeth.

"We know. Its just the beef between Thalia and Hera." Annabeth assured the goddess.

But mortals can't look upon…"You've killed him!"

"That was the only way to defeat them." Ares sighed.

"But didn't Jason get some hits in? At the giant? She could've just directed the energy towards Porphyrion." Clarisse said. Ares shook his head.

"If she did that then there would still be the other enemies. The wolves and all of that and some ice as well. Leo wouldn't have been able to handle all the ice alone either. The energy vaporized all the enemies." Ares explained.

Leo shook his head in dismay.

Hephaestus sighed as he felt Leo's pain from the book of thinking that he lost a good friend. One of his best friends. He grimaced.

"That's what our prophecy…"He's breathing!" she announced.

The breath of the demigods and gods who were affected by the curse became a little steady but they still weren't normal. Everybody looked on the edge of their seats. Hephaestus and Beckendorf also stood next to the demigods and gods.

"Guys, just back up a bit please. It might be a bit overwhelming to be surrounded by people once they wake up." Apollo requested. Everybody who stood there nodded and went back to their places.

"Impossible," Hera said…His mortal spirit —"

"But Piper only has to charm Jason's spirit into returning into his body." Percy said with a small smile.

"And that is a power of Aphrodite." Silena and Piper grinned. Aphrodite gave a smile.

"Jason," Piper said again…to the Underworld. "Wake up."

"That'll work." Aphrodite nodded.

He gasped, and his eyes…glowing pure gold.

Annabeth grimaced at the thought of gold eyes and so did the Elder Greek demigods.

The three demigods, Zeus and Hera shot awake, their eyes glowing as well. Will and Apollo jumped a little but asked them to take deep breaths.

"Should I continue?" Poseidon asked, shooting them a worried look.

"Yes please." Will said with a small smile.

Then the light faded…"Crushing me."

Zeus and Hera wheezed a little but felt way better. Jason, Thalia and Leo rubbed their fists.

"So that happened." Leo stated.

"It did." Percy said. He and Nico got up and gave Thalia and Jason a hug. The Stolls, Chris, Beckendorf and Hephaestus gave hugs to Leo. Piper gave Jason a tight hug and he chuckled.

"So what happened? I know what happened in the book but what happened here?" Zeus asked.

"Well um…Jason and Thalia and Leo shared the curse. Jason and Thalia shared it with you and Leo shared it with Hera to help out Jason. Jason shared it from both of you and then Thalia shared it with you and Leo helped with Hera." Percy explained. Zeus and Hera's eyes widened in shock and they looked at the demigods in utter shock and surprise.

Jason, Thalia gave small smiles and Leo just shrugged.

"And you killed my son." Zeus said, glaring at Hera who gulped.

"You can talk about this later. Right now, I think we should finish later and you've all just been through a lot of pain so maybe talk about it civilly afterwards with fresh minds before sleeping." Aphrodite said. Zeus just slung his arms around his kids who looked a little surprised but exhaled once Nico and Percy gave them small smiles and reassuring nods.

"Sorry," she said…the Loose Cannon."

There were some laughs and snickers. Hera gave a small glare to Thalia but it wasn't much because of what just happened.

"That was fair, I think." Beckendorf said.

"Seeing as what just happened. Maybe yeah." Annabeth nodded. Hera just sighed and didn't say anything.

"That's it, Thalia Grace,"… an aardvark, so help me — "

"No you won't." Zeus said to Hera who shook her head.

"Stop it, you two,"… they both shut up.

"You just stopped Thalia and Hera from bickering. You have talent, Piper." Annabeth grinned. The demigods cheered and laughed as well. Thalia looked amused and Hera raised her eyebrows at Piper who was grinning.

Piper helped Jason to…we've got bigger problems."

The gods whistled.

"That's it. We need to have her sit during the Olympian meetings." Hades deadpanned. Everybody burst out laughing.

"She's one good mediator." Poseidon agreed with a chuckle.

Piper snickered and the others laughed harder.

"That would be good." Apollo nodded with a grin.

"Well welcome to the mediator ranks then." Hestia said with a small chuckle towards Piper who grinned.

"I don't whether I should be happy or not." Piper said with goofy grin.

"Not excited. Definitely not excited." Triton shook his head. Everybody laughed again. Once they all calmed down, Poseidon continued reading.

They both glared at her…We must work together."

"Damnn. Did she just give Piper a compliment?" Beckendorf asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I can give compliments." Hera grumbled.

"And honestly, anybody who can mediate an argument between Hera and Thalia deserves an award." Annabeth chuckled.

Piper's face felt warm…know what's happened here."

"Yeah, she's the ones who is going to know the most about all of it. They're also going to have to find Percy and figure the next plan." Castor nodded.

"That most probably won't be necessary this time around." Pollux pointed out.

"Yeah. I'm talking about the events in the book." Castor said with a small smile.

"Thalia ..." Jason gripped…Just off with you, Hunter!"

Everybody cheered and laughed at the way Piper just stopped all arguments again.

"I am fairly sure that one of her domains is going to be mediation. Seriously." Demeter chuckled. Piper grinned. Aphrodite chuckled and Silena high fived Piper.

"This time, your banter almost sounded a bit…very less but kind of friendly." Grover said to Thalia with a raised eyebrow.

"I mean yeah, relatively. Normally it used to be much worse." Percy nodded with a grin at Thalia who rolled her eyes playfully.

Thalia gave Jason a hug…seemed strangely quiet.

"Yeah, Thalia's chaotic. Easy to notice when she's not there." Nico smirked. Thalia chucked the cushion which hit Nico right in the face and Hades had to duck to avoid it. Thalia gave him a sheepish grin but smirked at Nico who rolled his eyes good naturedly.

"He's not wrong." Percy smirked.

"Yeah sure, Jackson, you're just as chaotic." Thalia snorted.

"No denial there." Percy grinned and shrugged. Everybody chuckled and their parents had small smiles.

"I'm with Thalia on this one." Triton smirked. Tyson nodded.

"I feel wounded." Percy said dramatically but had a grin spread across his face. Triton and Tyson laughed and high fived. Percy chuckled.

The dry reflecting pool…the rest of my family alone. '

"It was needed for you as well and I think it was better than living there either way." Hera said to Jason who nodded.

"Yeah. I get that now. Probably not then." He said. Hera nodded. Thalia sighed.

"It was the right choice for…strong enough, you live."

"Fun." The Greek demigods muttered. The Romans shrugged.

"But ..." Leo looked mystified…making her dizzy

Aphrodite closed her eyes as she felt Piper's dizziness wash through her.

"You went somewhere else…planning for the next phase."

"Well, that was a compliment." Leo nodded with a smirk towards Hera who raised an eyebrow.

"You did save me." She shrugged.

"Which you won't tell us…Piper almost blacked out.

Aphrodite held her head and kept her eyes closed as she almost blacked out as well.

When she could see…in the middle of dinner.

Aphrodite sighed in relief once all the dizziness went away.

"That would be an interesting sight." Chiron chuckled.

They were standing on the…had one foot in Drew's pizza

Everybody burst out laughing.

"Poor pizza." Percy snickered. The laughter increased after that.

"Unintended revenge." Clarisse snickered.

Sixty campers rose at once, gawking at them in astonishment.

"I would pay to see that whole scene." Connor snickered.

"I think all of us would." Chris laughed and grinned. Everybody snickered.

Whatever Hera had done…barely control her nausea

Aphrodite turned green. Hestia passed her a bucket.

Leo wasn't so lucky…burnt offering for the gods.

All the gods winced.

"Definitely not." Ares grimaced. Leo looked sheepish and turned red.

The demigods bit their lips to control the slightest snickers.

Aphrodite's nausea went away but Hephaestus wasn't so lucky. Hestia quickly passed him a bucket. Hephaestus gave her a grateful nod, went out of the cabin and came back after two seconds. Leo grimaced.

"Yikes." Beckendorf said. Hephaestus nodded. Leo gave him an apologetic look.

"I don't get it. Leo was able to share Hera's curse but she doesn't feel the effects of the curse from Leo." Rachel frowned.

"I think the exact claiming of Leo as a champion hasn't happened yet. However, Leo had some sort of relation to Hera so he was able to share the curse." Percy said. Rachel nodded.

"That makes sense." She said

"So am I her champion or not?" Leo asked in confusion.

"One of them." Hera nodded. Then she felt a wave of nausea wash over her due to the curse taking effect.

"Maybe that was the wrong moment to say that, Tia." Leo said with a raised eyebrow. Hera gave him a look which said 'you think?' Hestia sighed and gave her a bucket too.

"Maybe we should just read before the literal effect takes place." Will said. Poseidon nodded.

"Jason?" Chiron trotted forward…"What — How — ?"

"Now that happens once in a blue moon. Chiron is rarely surprised by anything." Annabeth said with a grin towards her mentor who chuckled and nodded. The Greek campers chuckled.

"That's true." Chiron said.

The effects of the curse went away from Hera and luckily the bucket didn't come into use as they read before it could.

The Aphrodite campers stared…"We're back."

Everybody burst out laughing.

"Chapter's done." Poseidon said.

"I'll read." Zeus said. Poseidon threw the book at him playfully. Zeus ducked to avoid it and it fell behind him and he smirked at his brother and Poseidon and Hades sighed and groaned playfully. Most people looked surprised. Percy gave a smile. Thalia, Nico and Jason chuckled. Hazel gave a small smile. Athena looked horrified at the way Poseidon had thrown the book and Annabeth gave a small chuckle.

Zeus grabbed the book and flipped to the correct page.
